Locking 메카니즘의 변화에 따른 Ada'95 태스킹의 성능 향상

Locks are commonly adopted objects for maintaining data consistency when multiple threads of control are present in an application. However, performance of a parallel application may be affected by the choice of the lock granularity. In this paper, we look into the locking mechanisms used to implement Ada Tasking, which provides programming level parallelism through Ada Tasks. We compare overall tasking performance of a conventional tasking system, which currently uses Multiple-Lock granularity, with that of the one using the Single-Lock granularity By doing this, we are aimed at suggesting a way to improve overall performance of the Ada Tasking Runtime System. In order to realize the goal, we implement an Ada Tasking Runtime System based on Single-Lock mechanism and take timing measurements on several important Ada tasking semantics using both the Single-Lock and the Multiple-Lock based runtime system. The timing results acquired then will be used far suggesting a better locking mechanism to improve overall Ada Tasting performance.

Il 's agit d' une analyse succinte sur le syste´me mone´taire europe´en en place. Apre`s avoir etudie´ le me´canisme de ce que on appelle le "serpent mone´taire", nous avons e´largi nos e´tudes sur l' union e´conomique et mone´taire pour savoir si sa re´alisation serait possible. Le syste`me de l' ECU. comme moyen de paiement europe´en, et comme l' exemple de la future monnaie commune ou unique est analyse´ dans ses aspects divers. Pour conclure. nous avons analyse´ la situation actuelle, mone´taire et e´conomique afin de pouvoir pronostiquer sur l' avennir.

TGF-${\beta}$-induced tolerogenic-antigen presenting cells (Tol-APCs) could induce suppression of autoimmune diseases such as collagen-induced arthritis (CIA) and allergic asthma. In contrast, many studies have shown that NKT cells are involved in the pathogenesis of Th1-mediated autoimmune joint inflammation and Th2-mediated allergic pulmonary inflammation. In this study, we investigated the effect of CD1d-restricted NKT cells in the Tol-APCs-mediated suppression of autoimmune disease using a murine CIA model. When CIA-induced mice were treated with Tol-APCs obtained from $CD1d^{+/-}$ or $CD1d^{-/-}$ mice, unlike $CD1d^{+/-}$ APCs, $CD1d^{-/-}$ Tol-APCs failed to suppress CIA. More specifically, $CD1d^{-/-}$ Tol-APCs failed to suppress the production of inflammatory cytokines and the induction of Th2 responses by antigen-specific CD4 T cells both in vitro and in vivo. Our results demonstrate that the presence of CD1d-restricted NKT cells is critical for the induction of Tol-APCs-mediated suppression of CIA.
유동성 및 소득 변수가 주택가격에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

본 연구는 유동성과 소득 등 거시경제변수가 주택가격에 미치는 상호 연관성을 분석하기 위해 유동성변수인 가계대출, 가계대출금리, 소득변수인 산업생산지수와 주택가격지수와의 관계를 벡터오차수정모형(VECM)을 이용하여 실증적으로 분석하였다. 2003년 10월부터 2013년 2월까지의 월별 자료를 대상으로 하였다. 주택가격에 영향을 미치는 유동성변수 및 소득변수 등 거시변수들을 VECM모형으로 분석한 결과, 가계대출은 양(+)의 영향을, 금리는 주택가격에 음(-)의 영향을, 산업생산은 주택가격에 양(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 분산분해분석 결과를 보면 주택가격 변동에 대한 설명력이 소득변수인 산업생산지수, 유동성변수인 가계대출, 금리의 순서로 높게 나타났다. 이와 같이 산업생산지수의 주택가격 변동에 대한 기여도가 다른 변수에 비해 상대적으로 높은 것으로 나타난 실증분석 결과는 주택가격의 상승은 가계대출과 같은 유동성 공급 증가에 의해 기인하기도 하지만 기본적으로는 경기 상승에 기인하게 됨을 의미하고 있다. 최근의 침체된 주택시장의 회복을 위해서는 경기 회복이 필요하다는 점을 시사한다. In this paper, I analyze the impact of the liquidity variables and income variables to housing price from a macroeconomic perspective. I implement the empirical analysis using the VECM and the monthly data from the year of 2003 to that of 2013. As results, the housing price responds negatively by interest rate, positively by the household debt, and positively by the industrial production. And I have observed that the industrial production strongly affects on the housing price than interest rate and the household debt does from the impulse response function analysis and variance decomposition analysis. It implies that the fundamental factor affecting the housing price is the income or the GDI while the liquidity also affects on the housing price. The economy recovery or expansionary policies are needed to stabilize the housing market. However, we need to consider policies to prevent the bubble in the housing market when doing expansionary policies.

The plastid ribosomal protein s16 (rps16) gene was cloned from potato (Solanum tuberosum L. ssp. tuberosum cv De'sire'e) by PCR amplification to obtain a new homologous recombination site of plastid transformation. The potato rps16 genomic clone was 1627 bp in size and the coding region was interrupted by an 859 bp intron. Exon I was 40 bp, encoding 13 amino acids and exonⅡ was 227 bp, encoding a 76 amino acid polypeptide. The nucleotide sequence of the rps16 gene from the "De'sire'e" potato shared perfect identity with the sequence from the "Superior" potato in the coding region. Three nucleotide substitutions, two nucleotide insertions, and one nucleotide deletion were found between the intron sequence of both "De'sire'e" and "Superior" cultivars. The amino acid sequence of the potato rps16 gene showed a high level of identity with rice, maize, tobacco, and mustard (84-94%) and a relatively low level compared with Bacillus stearothermophilus and E. coli (27-28%). Expression of the rps16 gene was strong in chloroplasts and transcripts were detectable in amylopasts, suggesting that the rps16 gene is active in nonphotosynthetic plastids as well as in photosynthetic plastids. These results indicate that the potato rps16 gene can be used as a new homologous recombination site of plastid transformation for potato cultivars.

The one-electron theory of atoms, molecules, and crystals have enjoyed a wide success in many branches of physics. This theory provides a physically appealing description of the electronic structure of many-electron systems. In addition, this theory gives a convenient basis for performing the detailed calculation on specific many-electron systems. In such calculations, it is usually necessary to introduce many simplified assumptions in order to make a progress. Since the principal computational difficulty supposed by the Hartree-Fock equations is the treatment of the exchange term, it would be very desirable to simplify the treatment of these terms by using Slater's average of the exchange potential. The first order correction of energy in the lowest excited states of He atom is calculated by using the unperturbed wave function obtained with the Hartree-Fock-Slater approximation and compared with the result obtained by the simple analytical method. The numerical results agrees with an experimental results for the lowest excited states of He atom with tolerance 3.22%, 2.16%, 2.94% and 3.41%. These results show that the numerical analysis can be applied to other multielectron atoms with the personal computer.
