        In this study, the equipment and method to recyle waste-paint, were developed and investigated. The efficiency of drying and pulverizing the waste-paint were improved via vescosity reducing process and microwave energy source with a blast of hot air. This method may be useful to recyle the waste-paint, rubber and plastics.

      • 醫療保險制度의 變化에 따른 醫療利用 樣相과 病床利用度 比較硏究

        This study was conducted to identify the effects of rural-fishing village health insurance system and the whole national health insurance system on the number of out-patient and in-patient cases and the hospital bed utilization, and the number of hospital persons in a university located in Choong Chung Nam Do. The results were as follows. 1. The number of out-patients was increased by 6.8% and 18.8% after the implementation of the rural fishing village health insurance system and the whole national health insurance system respectively. The number of out-patient visit cases was increased by 31.5% and 63.5% after implementation of the rural fishing village health insurance system and the whole national health insurance system respectively. 2. The number of in-patients was increased by 13.8% and 22.8% after the implementation of the rural fishing village health insurance system and the whole national health insurance system respectively. The number of bed days was increased by 27.1% and 32.8% after the implementation of the rural fishing village health insurance system and the whole national health insurance system respectively. 3. The hospital bed utilization rates were 77.3% and 98.4% before and after the rural fishing village health insurance system respectively, and 102.6%, after the whole national health insurance system. The bed rotation rate was increased from 23.6 times before the rural fishing village health insurance system to 27.0 times after the system. After the whole national health insurance program, it was also increased to 29.1 times. The average length of stay was 11.9 days before the rural fishing village health insurance system and 13.3 days after that, and 12.9 days after the whole national health insurance system. 4. Before the rural fishing village health insurance system the physicians per 100 beds was 19.0 persons. The physicians per 100 beds was increased to 25.2 persons and 29.3 persons, after the rural fishing village health insurance system and the whole national insurance system respectively. Before the rural fishing village health insurance system the nurses per 100 beds was 26.8 persons. The nurses per 100 beds was increased to 35.4 persons and 38.3 persons, after the rural fishing village health insurance system and the whole national health insurance respectively. Before the rural fishing village health insurance system the manpower per 100 beds was 101.6 persons. The manpower per 100 beds was increased to 128.6 persons and 138.9 persons, after the rural fishing village health insurance system and the whole national insurance respectively.

      • 교수-학습 지원을 위한 웹 에이전트(web agent)의 개발

        최근 에이전트를 교육에 활용하려는 연구와 노력이 시도되고 있다. 에이전트는 컴퓨터가 사용자를 대신하여 주어진 일을 수행하는 대행자(proxy)나 중개자(middle ware) 역할을 하는 컴퓨터 프로그램을 통칭하는 개념이다[1]. 근래에 다양한 장르에서 에이전트가 활용되고 있으며 교수·학습분야 역시 그러한 것 중의 하나에 해당된다. 웹 상에서 교사의 역할을 대신할 수 있는 프로그램이나 엔진의 개념이 교수·학습을 지원하는 웹 에이전트이다. 웹 상에서 에이전트는 교사의 역할을 수행할 뿐만 아니라 학습자를 도와 주는 도우미 역할을 수행한다. 웹 에이전트가 적용된 웹 기반 교수·학습 환경은 학습자나 교사에게 적응적이고 개별화된 환경을 제공한다. Recently there are many tries and researches for using web agent in education. The agent is a computer program as a common name which takes a role like a proxy or a middle ware for accomplishing the given something on behalf of user [1]. Lately the agent is being used in the various fields. The teaching and learning Is the one of those. It is the web agent that support the teaching and learning on the web. It has a concept of the program or the engine is able to do teachers roles on the behalf of him on the web. Not only the web agent is able to do teachers roles on the behalf of him, but also it is a helper that helps learners on the web. The web based teaching and learning environment has the web agent offers the personal and the adaptive information, interface, or contents.

      • 한국과 주요 벼 생산국에서 유통되는 브랜드 쌀의 외관 특성 비교

        쌀 품질 고급화에 대비한 기초자료를 얻고자 우리나라 및 외국의 주요 쌀 생산국에서 유통되는 브랜드쌀 45종의 상품적 가치기준의 하나인 외관특성을 조사하였던바 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 우리나라와 주요 쌀 생산국에서 수집된 브랜드쌀의 평균 완전미율은 우리나라 쌀이 57.4%로 가장 낮았고, 일본쌀이 86.0%, 호주쌀이 85.2%, 미국쌀은 80.5%, 중국쌀은 79.6%이었다. 2. 수집된 브랜드쌀의 불완전미 함유율은 쇄미, 미숙립 등은 국가별로 큰 차이가 없었으나 심복백미의 경우 우리나라 쌀이 외국쌀에 비하여 매우 많았고 피해립이 우리나라 브랜드 쌀이 많은 편이다. 3. 우리나라 유통 브랜드쌀의 완전미와 불완전미의 상관중 완전미율과 심복백미율간에 고도의 부의 상관을 나타냈으며 완전미율과 쌀가격간에는 상관이 없었다. In an attempt to obtain fundamental data for the elevation of rice quality, we examined the appearance property of rice circulating in home and foreign countries, which is considered as a commercial value of brand rice. The average ratio of head rice was the highest for the Japanese rice, 86.0%, followed by Australian 85.2%, American 80.5%, and Chinese 79.6% and the Korean brand marked only 57.4%, the lowest value. when we consider the incomplete rice ratio of foreign brand rices, broken, damaged, and immature kernels were found by similar level but the ratio of white core & belly rice was more found from our rice than foreign rices. Among the correlations from head rice and incomplete rices, a very high negative-correlation was shown between head rice and white core & belly rice ratio. Any correlation was not found between head rice ratio and price.

        그라인더(grinder) 사용에 의한 Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome(HAVS)의 6예

        목 적 : 수지증상이 있는 진동공구 작업자 8명에 대해 객관적이고 체계화된 진단방법을 이용하여 수지진동 증후군을 진단하고자 시행하였다. 방 법 : 과거병력, 가족력 등의 문진과 혈액 및 소변, 방사선 검사를 통해 다른 원인에 의한 레이노씨병을 배제하였고, 공구 측정 결과를 이용하여 작업과의 관련성을 보았으며, 냉수 침지검사와 근전도 검사를 통하여 수지진동 증후군을 진단하고자 하였다. 결 과 : 수지증상이 있는 진동공구 작업자 8명에 대해 과거병력, 가족력, 약물복용 및 과거 직업력 등 레이노씨병을 유발하는 요인에 대하여 조사하였고 특이점은 발견하지 못하였다. 다른 원인에 의한 레이노씨병을 배제하기 위해 혈액 및 소변, 방사선 검사를 하였고 8명 모두에서 특이 소견을 발견하지 못하였다. 위의 문진과 검사결과로 다른 원인에 의한 레이노씨병을 배제할 수 있었다. 해당사업장의 진동 공구 측정결과를 근거로 피검자의 공구가 ISO의 허용기준을 초과함을 알 수 있었다. 냉수 침지검사와 근전도 검사를 이용하여 피검자 8명중 6명이 말초 혈액순환 장해와 말초 신경염이 있는 것으로 진단되었다. 위의 내용을 근거로 6명은 진동에 의한 수지 진동 증후군으로 진단할 수 있었다. 결 론 : 수지증상이 있는 진동공구 작업자 8명에 대해 객관적이고 체계화된 진단방법을 이용하여 수지진동 증후군을 진단하였다. 해당 사업장의 진동 공구 작업자의 진동에 대한 검진이 필요할 것으로 생각된다. Objectives : To confirm the HAVS In workers exposed to hand-arm vibration with using the objective diagnostic methods. Methods : Several tests were used to help substantiate a clinical diagnosis of HAVS. Some other diseases were excluded by a medical interview, hematologic assessment, urinalysis, X-rays. The hand-arm vibration acceleration level of the grinder was evaluated for considering HAVS. Peripheral vascular changes were examined by a cold provocation test. An electromyography was implemented to ascertain the peripheral neural changes. Results : 8 workers with symptoms in hands & fingers, exposed to hand-arm vibration were examined. Some other diseases (primary Raynaud's disease, secondary Raynaud's disease in not occupational origin) were excluded by a medical interview, hematologic assessment, urinalysis, X-rays. The hand-arm vibration acceleration level of the grinder was 7.9 m/sec2. The recovery time of a skin temperature followed finger cooling was significantly prolonged in 6 workers with HAVS. The nerve conduction velocity was reduced in 6 workers with HAVS. Conclusions : So we report 6 cases of HAVS in grinding workers exposed to hand-arm vibration diagnosed objectively by an exclusion of some other disease, hand- arm vibration acceleration level, cold provocation test, electromyography.

        대전광역시 양축농가의 축분뇨 관리 실태 및 VOCs 농도 조사

        This study was carried out to investigate the style of livestock house, concentration of malodorous substances of livestock feces and livestock houses in Daejeon area. Among the livestock houses investigated, as most of cow pens(94.5%) have sawdust or chaff on the bottom, there was no leakage of feces out of pen. Most pig pens adopted slury style, but some of them currently use buffering material on the bottom. It is thought that there will be no possible contamination leakage. When it comes to hen house, all the broiler house use litters on the bottom and all the layer house use scrapper. It is also thought that there will be no possible contamination leakage. 3 out of 12 deer pens used buffering material on the bottom, 10 places were maintained in a traditional method, and 7 places left possibility of contamination leakage considering whether the roof was installed or not. The contents of ammonia, amine and volatile fatty acid in fresh feces were lower compared to rotten feces, but the concentration of sulfur-containing matter - hydrogen sulfide, methylmercapthan and ethylmercapthan were higher compared to rotten feces. In the case of malodorous ingredient in livestock houses, only small amount of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide were detected in pig pen and hen house, and other ingredients were not detectable. And those who are engaged in animal husbandry reacted negatively to the use of feed additives for decreasing malodor. In conclusion, it is not worrisome that contamination can be leaked out of animal raising facilities. But if we take into consideration that the point of investigation time is wintry season, there should be more considerate attitude. And feed additives for decreasing malodor need establishing criteria in the manufacturing process.

      • 성장기 흰쥐의 족삼리(ST-36) 침자가 혈액성분에 미치는 영향

        Acupuncture, an important branch of oriental medicine, has been practiced for many centuries and has been proved to be an effective treatment for all sorts of disease. However, the exact mechanism on effects of acupuncture was uncertain. Recently investigation for the mechanism of acupuncture has concentrated to human and animals. So, This study was to determine effects of ST-36 acupuncture stimulation on blood component in growing rats. For this study, 24 male Sprague-Dawley rats weighting 159?13g were randomly assigned into three groups; A4 group, A10 group, and control group. In A4 group, four times acupuncture were performed at both ST-36 every other days and in A10 group, ten times acupuncture. The results obtained were as follows; 1. Total protein level was significantly increased, particularly in A10 group; albumin level was also significantly increased. 2. Serum glucose level was significantly increased. 3. Triglyceride level was significantly increased in A4 group; phospholipid level had no changes; free fatty acid level was significantly decreased particularly in A10 group. 4. Total cholesterol level was rarely affected by acupuncture: HDL-C and LDL-C levels were affected by the number of times of acupuncture, that is, HDL-C levels were increased, and LDL-C level decreased in A4 group, while HDL-C level decreased and LDL-C level increased in A10 group. 5. Serum amylase activity was not significantly changed.

      • 침자가 성장기 및 성숙기 웅성 흰쥐의 혈액성분에 미치는 영향

        Acupuncture, an over 2500 years old therapeutic method stemming from traditional oriental medicine, is nowadays wide open to modern medical science. With the widespread usage of acupuncture, the number of article about biomechanical or therapeutic effects of acupuncture from animal experiments and clinical trials is largely reported. In a previous study, we have reported that Joksamlee(ST36) acupuncture increases serum protein and glucose but decrease serum lipid and cholesterol. For further study, we was examined effects of Shenshu(B23) and Samumgyo(SP6) acupuncture stimulation on differential blood components in growing and adult male rate. 24 male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly assigned into three groups; A1 (B23 and SP6 acupuncture in adult rats) group, A2 (B23 acupuncture in growing rats) group, and control group. The results obtained were as follows; 1. Body weight was significantly decreased in A1 and A2 groups. 2. Serum TP level was not changed, but albumin level was significantly increased in A2 group. 3. Serum glucose level was significantly increased in A1 group. 4. Serum TG level was significantly decreased in A2 group: PL level was significantly decreased in both A1 and A2 groups; FFA level was not changed. 5. Serum T.CHO, HDL-C and LDL-C levels were not changed in both A1 and A2. 6. Serum amylase activity was significantly increased in A1 group.

        <i>In vitro</i> and <i>in vivo</i> imaging and tracking of intestinal organoids from human induced pluripotent stem cells

        <P>Human intestinal organoids (hIOs) derived from human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) have immense potential as a source of intestines. Therefore, an efficient system is needed for visualizing the stage of intestinal differentiation and further identifying hIOs derived from hPSCs. Here, 2 fluorescent biosensors were developed based on human induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC) lines that stably expressed fluorescent reporters driven by intestine-specific gene promoters Kruppel-like factor 5 monomeric Cherry (KLF5(mCherry)) and intestine-specific homeobox enhanced green fluorescence protein (ISXeGFP). Then hIOs were efficiently induced from those transgenic hiPSC lines in which mCherry- or eGFP-expressing cells, which appeared during differentiation, could be identified in intact living cells in real time. Reporter gene expression had no adverse effects on differentiation into hIOs and proliferation. Using our reporter system to screen for hIO differentiation factors, we identified DMH1 as an efficient substitute for Noggin. Transplanted hIOs under the kidney capsule were tracked with fluorescence imaging(FLI) and confirmed histologically. After orthotopic transplantation, the localization of the hIOs in the small intestine could be accurately visualized using FLI. Our study establishes a selective system for monitoring the in vitro differentiation and for tracking the in vivo localization of hIOs and contributes to further improvement of cell-based therapies and preclinical screenings in the intestinal field.</P>
