        자돈에 있어 게르마늄 용질액의 급여가 성장 및 혈액학적 변화에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 이산화게르마늄을 함유한 게르마늄 용질액을 자돈에 급여하였을 때 성장 및 혈액학적 변화에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 실시하였다. 3원 교잡종 자돈 60두 (평균체중 11.22±0.10㎏)를 공시하였다. 시험설계는 옥수수-대두박 위주의 대조구(CON)와, 대조구 사료내 게르마늄 용질액을 0.5 ppm 첨가한 구(GC0.5) 및 대조구 사료내 게르마늄 용질액을 1.0 ppm 첨가한 구(GC1.0)로 3개 처리를 하였다. 0-10일간 사양시험기간동안, 일당증체량에 있어서 GC0.5 처리구가 약간 높게 평가되었다(quadratic effect, P<0.02). 그러나 전체 시험기간동안, 일당증체량, 일당사료섭취량 및 사료효율에 있어서 처리구간에 유의적인 차이는 보이지 않았다. 영양소 소화율에 있어서는 GC0.5 처리구가 조회분(linear effect, P<0.01; quadratic effect, P<0.04), 칼슘(linear effect, P<0.01; quadratic effect, P<0.01), 인 (linear effect, P<0.02; quadratic effect, P<0.04) 소화율이 유의적으로 높게 평가되었다. 혈액내 neutrophil 농도에 있어서는 게르마늄 용질액의 첨가 수준이 증가함에 따라 유의적으로 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다(quadratic effect, P<0.02). 결론적으로, 자돈 사료내 게르마늄 용질액의 급여가 성장 및 혈액학적 수치에는 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 사료된다. This study was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary germanium colloid on the growth performance and hematological values in nursery pigs. Sixty pigs (11.22(0.10 ㎏ average initial body weight) were used in a 20 d growth assay. Dietary treatments included 1) CON (basal diet), 2) GC0.5 (basal diet+0.5 ppm germanium colloid) and 3) GC1.0 (basal diet+1.0 ppm germanium colloid). For d 0 to 10, pigs fed GC0.5 diet grew faster than pigs fed CON and GC1.0 diets (Quadratic effect, P<0.02). However, through the entire experimental period, no statistical differences were found for aver-age daily gain, average daily feed intake and gain/feed. Apparent digestibilities of crude ash (Linear effect, P<0.01; Quadratic effect, P<0.04), calcium (Linear effect, P<0.01; Quadratic effect, P<0.01) and phosphorus (Linear effect, P<0.02; Quadratic effect, P<0.04) in pigs fed GC0.5 diet were greater than for pigs fed CON and GC1.0. Neutrophil concentration in blood increased as the concentration of germanium colloid in the diets was increased with significant difference (Quadratic effect, P<0.02). In conclusion, growth performance and hematological values were not influenced by dietary germanium colloid.

        Ginsenoside Rk1 ameliorates paracetamol-induced hepatotoxicity in mice through inhibition of inflammation, oxidative stress, nitrative stress and apoptosis

        Background: Frequent overdose of paracetamol (APAP) has become the major cause of acute liver injury. The present study was designed to evaluate the potential protective effects of ginsenoside Rk1 on APAPinduced hepatotoxicity and investigate the underlying mechanisms for the first time. Methods: Micewere treated with Rk1 (10 mg/kg or 20 mg/kg) by oral gavage once per d for 7 d. On the 7th d, all mice treatedwith250mg/kgAPAPexhibitedsevere liver injuryafter24h, andhepatotoxicitywas assessed. Results: Our results showed that pretreatment with Rk1 significantly decreased the levels of serum alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, tumor necrosis factor, and interleukin-1b compared with the APAPgroup.Meanwhile, hepatic antioxidants, including superoxide dismutase andglutathione,were elevated compared with the APAP group. In contrast, a significant decrease in levels of the lipid peroxidation product malondialdehyde was observed in the ginsenoside Rk1-treated group compared with the APAP group. These effectswere associatedwith a significant increase of cytochromeP450 E1 and 4-hydroxynonenal levels in liver tissues. Moreover, ginsenoside Rk1 supplementation suppressed activation of apoptotic pathways by increasing Bcl-2 and decreasing Bax protein expression levels, which was shown using western blotting analysis.Histopathological observation also revealed that ginsenoside Rk1 pretreatment significantly reversed APAP-induced necrosis and inflammatory infiltration in liver tissues. Biological indicators of nitrative stress, such as 3-nitrotyrosine, were also inhibited after pretreatment with Rk1 compared with the APAP group. Conclusion: The results clearly suggest that the underlying molecular mechanisms in the hepatoprotection of ginsenoside Rk1 in APAP-induced hepatotoxicity may be due to its antioxidation, antiapoptosis, anti-inflammation, and antinitrative effects.

        Study on the development path of Chinese cultural policy - Focusing on cultural policy of 1978 to 2016 -

        Based on the background of macro-political environment of China from 1978 to 2016, this paper tries to outline the development path of Chinese cultural policy in order to better understand Chinese current cultural production and consumption. China, as a socialist country, has a strong macro-guiding capacity through making policies. Cultural policy is also heavily affected by the macro national policy. That is why only through the background of macro-political environment, the development path of Chinese cultural policy can be understood clearly. According to means of literature research, policy text analysis, and data comparisons and so on, this paper divides and discuss the development path of Chinese cultural policy into four stages. On one hand, in each stage, the most important changes on cultural policy are described and the formations of important concepts are discussed. On the other hand, it is explained how the four stages are combined as one through the problems in real social conditions. The development path of Chinese cultural policy is complex, dynamic, and extensive. Therefore, because of the limited number of words and important but relatively less perspectives, it is very difficult that the dynamic process are studied perfectly. However, the paper has meaning for aiming to inspire that more studies on Chinese cultural policy would be researched from lots of other perspectives.

        Comparison of Oncoplastic Breast-Conserving Surgery and Breast- Conserving Surgery Alone: A Meta-Analysis

        Purpose: The use of oncoplastic reconstruction for breastconserving surgery (BCS) extends benefits beyond merely minimizing poor cosmetic results. However, the feasibility and oncological safety of oncoplastic surgery (OPS) are controversial. Methods: This meta-analysis aimed to compare the short-term and long-term oncological outcomes of BCS alone and BCS plus OPS. Relevant studies published before July 2017 in the Embase, the Cochrane Library, PubMed, and Web of Science databases were screened and collected. The meta-analysis was performed using STATA software (Stata Corp.). Results: A total of 3,789 patients from 11 studies were included, with 2,691 patients in the BCS-alone group and 1,098 patients in the BCS plus OPS group. The demographics were similar between both groups, and no significant difference was observed in pathological T and N stages between the two groups. Re-excision was less common (relative risk [RR], 0.66; p=0.009) and the positive-margin rate was lower, but not significantly (RR, 0.83; p=0.191), in the BCS plus OPS group than in the BCS-alone group. The local and distal recurrence rates were similar in both groups. Both disease-free survival (hazard ratio [HR], 1.19; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.96– 1.49; p=0.112) and overall survival (HR, 1.14; 95% CI, 0.76– 1.69; p=0.527) did not differ between the two groups. Conclusion: A combination of BCS and OPS is preferred over BCS alone for decreasing re-excisions and provides similar long-term survival as BCS alone in patients with breast cancer.

        Research on Human-robot Shared Control of Throat Swab Sampling Robot Based on Intention Estimation

        With the spread and persistence of COVID-19, pharyngeal swab sampling, is an important link in nucleic acid testing, which is characterized by a high workload and susceptibility to infection. Therefore, it is necessary for medical workers to use medical robots instead of manual site sampling for collaborative sampling. However, the traditional teleoperation has difficulty ensuring the closed-loop performance due to the delay of the actual process, along with the weak control performance; Moreover, a robot cannot accurately plan and track sampling paths due to sensor accuracy and the changes in patient pharyngeal posture. The paper proposes a human-robot shared control strategy based on intention estimation, introducing the human intention as a reference, and the operator and robot work together to solve various significant problems during sampling. The human-robot negotiation based on the method includes the human judgement and perception and the robot into the invasion task. Through, the shared control based on the operator intention estimation, the robot can operate the obstacle avoidance and approach the target contact point remotely. Finally, two kinds of experiments of invasion process of throat swab sampling are implemented: a static target invasive experiment and a dynamic target invasive experiment, aiming at two different sampling conditions. Compared with the robotic independent control sampling, the time consumption in the two experiments is reduced by 34.8% and 41.6%, respectively, and the ultimate target position is basically within the scope of sampling field (where the range of the posterior pharynx wall < 20 mm). Thus, the sampling rate can reach 100%. Compared with independent control sampling by humans, the time consumption of the two experiments is respectively reduced by 15.9% and 42.3% on average, and the target position accuracy and sampling rate are quite close. Experimental results show that the control strategy improves the speed, flexibility, and intelligence of task execution compared to common sampling methods, laying the foundation for low-cost human-robot collaborative sampling.

        Production and Characterization of Ethanol- and Protease-Tolerant and Xylooligosaccharides-Producing Endoxylanase from Humicola sp Ly01

        This paper reports the production and characterization of crude xylanase from the newly isolated Humicola sp. Ly01. The highest (41.8 U/ml) production of the crude xylanase was obtained under the optimized conditions (w/v): 0.5% wheat bran, 0.2% KH2PO4, and 0.5% peptone; initial pH 7.0; incubation time 72 h; 30℃; and 150 rpm. A considerable amount of the crude xylanase was induced using hulless barley bran or soybean meal as the carbon source, but a small amount of the enzyme was produced when supplementary urea was used as the nitrogen source to wheat bran. The crude xylanase showed apparent optimal cellulase-free xylanase activity at 60℃ and pH 6.0, more than 71.8% of the maximum xylanase activity in 3.0-30.0% (v/v) ethanol and more than 82.3% of the initial xylanase activity after incubation in 3.0-30.0% (v/v) ethanol at 30℃ for 2 h. The crude xylanase was moderately resistant to both acid and neutral protease digestion, and released 7.9 and 10.9 μmol/ml reducing sugar from xylan in the simulated gastric and intestinal fluids, respectively. The xylooligosaccharides were the main products of the hydrolysis of xylan by the crude xylanase. These properties suggested the potential of the crude enzyme for being applied in the animal feed industry, xylooligosaccharides production, and high-alcohol conditions such as ethanol production and brewing.

      • Improving ginsenoside content in Korean wild ginseng by Agrobacterium-mediated transformation with a squalene synthase ge

        With the purpose of improving ginsenoside production in Korean wild ginseng (Panax ginseng Meyer) mutant adventitious root lines, a synthetic gene encoding squalene synthase (PgSS2) was placed under the control of 35S promoter and transferred to Panax ginseng. Embryogenic callus obtained from ginseng adventitious root lines were transformed by infection with A. tumefaciens strain EHA105 containing the PgSS2 gene. Ten phosphinothricin-resistant plants were generated on selection medium, and the transgene integration and expression in these plants were confirmed by PAT test strip, RT-PCR and Southern hybridization. Ginsenoside analysis by HPLC revealed that the total contents of the 8 ginsenoside types (Rg1, Re, Rf, Rh1, Rb1, Rc, Rb2, Rd) in transgenic adventitious root lines were about 1.6-fold higher than that of the mutant control line (MCL1). This transformation method may facilitate the improvement of Panax ginseng in terms of the accumulation levels of ginsenoside.

        Multilevel memory characteristics by light-assisted programming in floating-gate organic thin-film transistor nonvolatile memory

        In this work, we study charge trapping in floating-gate organic thin-film transistor nonvolatile memories (FG-OTFT-NVMs) fabricated by a simple method. The inner discrete distribution aluminum nanoparticles (Al-Nps) and the continuous compact thin alumina film were formed to act as the floating-gate and the tunneling dielectric layer, respectively by thermally evaporated Al at a slow rate and then heat annealed in dry air. The devices exhibited remarkable photoresponse and memory effect. Compared with the unidirectional threshold voltage (VT) shifts of memories by programming/erasing (P/E) in dark, larger bidirectional VT shifts were obtained by light-assisted programming, and therefore the memory performances were enhanced. A multilevel memory behavior was observed in our memories, which depended on programming conditions. The charge trapping mechanisms of memories operated in dark and under illumination are discussed, respectively. The results indicate that optimal memory performance requires charge carriers of both polarities, because it is a very efficient method to enlarge the memory window and to lower the P/E voltage by overwriting trapped charges by injected charges of opposite polarity.

        Plant regeneration of Korean wild ginseng (Panax ginseng Meyer) mutant lines induced by g-irradiation (60Co) of adventitious roots

        An efficient in vitro protocol has been established for somatic embryogenesis and plantlet conversionof Korean wild ginseng (Panax ginseng Meyer). Wild-type and mutant adventitious roots derived fromthe ginseng produced calluses on Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium supplemented with 0.5 mg/L2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid and 0.3 mg/L kinetin; 53.3% of the explants formed callus. Embryogeniccallus proliferation and somatic embryo induction occurred on MS medium containing 0.5 mg/L2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid. The induced somatic embryos further developed to maturity on MSmedium with 5 mg/L gibberellic acid, and 85% of them germinated. The germinated embryos weredeveloped to shoots and elongated on MS medium with 5 mg/L gibberellic acid. The shoots developedinto plants with well-developed taproots on one-third strength Schenk and Hildebrandt basal mediumsupplemented with 0.25 mg/L 1-naphthaleneacetic acid. When the plants were transferred to soil, about30% of the regenerated plants developed into normal plants.
