        Reduction of the contact resistance in copper phthalocyanine thin film transistor with UV/ozone treated Au electrodes

        Bottom-contact (BC) copper phthalocyanine (CuPc) thin film transistor with UV/ozone treated Au as a source/drain electrode was fabricated and the contact resistance was estimated from the transmission line method (TLM). Comparing the properties of OTFT with untreated Au electrode, the performance of the BC CuPc-TFT with the UV/ozone treated Au electrodes was significantly improved: saturation mobility increased from 4.69 × 10−3 to 2.37 × 10−2 ㎠/V s, threshold voltage reduced from −29.1 to −6.4 V, and threshold swing varied from 5.08 to 2.25 V/decade. The contact resistance of the device with UV/ozone treated Au electrodes was nearly 20 times smaller than that of the device with untreated Au electrodes at the gate voltage of −20 V. This result indicated that using the UV/ozone treated Au electrode is an effective method to reduce the contact resistance. The present BC configuration with UV/ozone treated Au electrodes could be a significant step towards the commercialization of OTFT technology.

        Prediction and analysis of structural noise of a box girder using hybrid FE-SEA method

        With the rapid development of rail transit, rail transit noise needs to be paid more and more attention. In order to accurately and effectively analyze the characteristics of low-frequency noise, a prediction model of vibration of box girder was established based on the hybrid FE-SEA method. When the train speed is 140 km/h, 200 km/h and 250 km/h, the vibration and noise of the box girder induced by the vertical wheel-rail interaction in the frequency range of 20-500 Hz are analyzed. Detailed analysis of the energy level, sound pressure contribution, modal analysis and vibration loss power of each slab at the operating speed of 140 km /h. The results show that: (1) When the train runs at a speed of 140km/h, the roof contributes more to the sound pressure at the far sound field point. Analyzing the frequency range from 20 to 500 Hz: The top plate plays a very important role in controlling sound pressure, contributing up to 70% of the sound pressure at peak frequencies. (2) When the train is traveling at various speeds, the maximum amplitude of structural vibration and noise generated by the viaduct occurs at 50 Hz. The vibration acceleration of the box beam at the far field point and near field point is mainly concentrated in the frequency range of 31.5-100 Hz, which is consistent with the dominant frequency band of wheel-rail force. Therefore, the main frequency of reducing the vibration and noise of the box beam is 31.5-100 Hz. (3) The vibration energy level and sound pressure level of the box bridge at different speeds are basically the same. The laws of vibration energy and sound pressure follow the rules below: web <wing plate <top plate. (4) When the train is running at a higher speed, the noise and vibration of the bridge structure are larger. (5) The hybrid FE-SEA method is used to predict the structural noise of the box beam, which not only improves the efficiency, but also improves the calculation accuracy, thereby expanding the frequency range of the structural noise and improving the prediction accuracy.

        Quantum-chemical ab initio study of the crystal-field and charge transfer energies of nanocrystalline Y2O3: Eu3+

        The 4f energy levels and crystal-field parameters for several clusters representing the local coordination surroundings of Eu3þ in the bulk and nanocrystalline cubic Y2O3: Eu3+ crystals are obtained by using a method based on the combination of the DV-Xa calculation and the effective Hamiltonian method initialized by M.F. Reid et al. (J. Phys.: Condens. Matter, 2011, 23: 045501). The results are in reasonable agreement with the measured energy levels and the crystal-field parameters obtained from the leastsquare fitting. The charge transfer energies are also obtained for all the clusters from the DV-Xa calculation. The results indicate that, compared with the bulk Y2O3: Eu3+ crystal, the charge transfer band in the excitation spectra is red-shifted in the nanocrystal.         Prevalence of Spina Bifida Occulta and Its Relationship With Overactive Bladder in Middle-Aged and Elderly Chinese People

        Purpose: To investigate the prevalence of spina bifida occulta (SBO) and its relationship with the presence of overactive bladder (OAB) in middle-aged and elderly people in China. Methods: A cross-sectional community-based survey was carried out at 7 communities in Zhengzhou City, China from December 15, 2013 to June 10, 2014, where residents aged over 40 years were randomly selected to participate. All of the participants underwent lumbosacral radiographic analysis and relevant laboratory tests. A questionnaire including basic information, past medical history and present illness, and the OAB symptom score was filled out by all participants. Chi-square tests and logistic regression were used for data analysis with a P-value of <0.05 denoting statistical significance. Results: A total of 1,061 subjects were qualified for the final statistical analysis (58.8±11.7 years; male, 471 [44.4%]; female, 590 [55.6%]). The overall prevalence of SBO was 15.1% (160 of 1,061): 18.3% (86 of 471) in men and 12.5% (74 of 590) in women. Among these subjects, 13.7% (145 of 1,061) had OAB: 13.2% (62 of 471) in men and 14.1% (83 of 590) in women. The results of logistic regression showed that age, SBO, history of cerebral infarction (HCI), and constipation were risk factors for OAB (P<0.05), while sex, history of childhood enuresis (HCE), body mass index (BMI), and diabetes mellitus (DM) were not (P>0.05). In men, age, SBO, and constipation were risk factors for OAB (P<0.05), while HCE, BMI, DM, HCI, and benign prostate hyperplasia were not (P>0.05). In women, age, SBO, and HCI were risk factors for OAB (P<0.05), while HCE, BMI, DM, vaginal delivery, and constipation were not (P>0.05). Conclusions: The prevalence of SBO is high and it is related to OAB in middle-aged and elderly people in China.

        國家構建, 新知識與自由職業社團 : 以上海會計師公會爲例

        在卽往對近代中國社會中間組織的硏究中, 有不少是應用哈貝馬斯提出的“公共領域”這壹槪念來進行分析與解讀的, 然而將近代中國的民間社會組織比附作西方歷史上的“公共領域”, 以西方的歷史演變模式作爲壹理想型來解釋中國。這不就是把壹個具有西方起源的槪念强加於壹種異質的社會現實。所以本硏究嘗試采用壹種新的理論範型 ? 社會權力(social power), 作爲理論分析的工具。竝以上海會計師公會爲例, 探討中層組織與國家間的互動關系。上海這壹城市的西化特質與現代部門的成長給予了會計師廣闊的職業發展空間。而政府與會計師公會的關系則是復雜微妙的。壹方面國民政府與會計師公會有著共同的利益訴求 ? 國家構建與現代化導向。령壹方面, 致力於“以黨建國”的國民政府需要將國家的行政權力不斷向下延伸, 展現出壹種國家(精英)控制型公共性。 In the past studies on social organizations of modern China, many of them used the the conception of “Public Sphere” which has introduced by Habermas. However, the comparison of civil society organizations in Modern China to the “Public Sphere” in the history of the West, using the historical evolution in the West as ideal type to interpret China., it imposes a conception in the western origin on foreign social reality. This study provides a new paradigm as the theoretical tool ? social power. In the case of the Shanghai Society of Accountants, inquired into the interaction between social organization and nation. The city of Shanghai with western style and the development of modern economy provided an excellent career prospect for accountants. The relations between government and the Society of Accountants were also complex and subtle. On the one hand, the National Government and the Society of Accountants shared common interests?nation building and social modernization. On the other hand, The National Government which engaged in “ruling the country by the party” and expanded administrative authority downward constantly, presenting the state-controlled Public.

        High-temperature-mixing hydrothermal synthesis of ZnO nanocrystals with wide growth window

        High-quality and controllable growth of nanocrystals (NCs) have been attracting great attention. Here, a high-temperature-mixing hydrothermal (HTMH) method was designed to synthesize ZnO NCs with high crystallinity and narrow size distribution in a wide growth window. Compared with conventional hydrothermal (CH) growth, zinc source and alkali precursors were intentionally separated in temperaturerising stage and permitted to mix at the starting of heat preservation stage of HTMH growth. Highly crystalline ZnO NCs with uniform spherical morphology can be formed at alkali concentration and temperature windows as wide as 0.1e0.5 M and 160e200 C, respectively. However, the products via CH method have much larger changes in not only morphology but also size. These results demonstrated that the high-temperature-mixing reaction greatly facilitates nucleation but depresses grain growth. Considering the simplicity and reproducibility, such HTMH method could have wide potentials for the fabrication of various functional nanocrystals.
