      • 직접분사식 디젤기관의 연소실 형상에 따른 연소과정의 화상분석

        In this study, the observation window was installed in the piston head of single cylinder that four stroke engine was remodeled into two stroke engine and its the combustion process was observed by the high speed video camera. The piston cavity configurations of four kinds, which consider the effects of the growth of the fuel spray and air flow, were made and the progress process of combustion flame was analyzed at engine speed 1100 rpm as varying scavenging pressure. As a result of experiment, we found out that the piston configuration of deep dish type is easy to diffuse combustion flame from piston cavity to compression clearance and the piston configuration of re-entrant type is easy to form ignition nuclei. According to increasing scavenging pressure, we saw that the growth progress of combustion flame is increased in all the piston configurations. We could find out the optimum configuration of combustion chamber.

        Rhabdomyosarcoma, which is a very rare and highly malignant disease in urologic field, has three categories-pleomorphic, alveolar, embryonal, and may arise from any part of the body that contains embryonal mesenchyme, whether striated muscle tissue is present or not. The common site in the genitourinary tract are prostate, bladder, and vagina. Herein we experienced a rhabdomyosarcoma of the pelvic cavity and reviewed literature briefly.

        The finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method has been applied to the analysis of microstrip discontinuities comprised of junctions of two substrates having different dielectric constants. The discontinuities treated in this paper include microstrip step-in-width on a single substrate for the validation of analysis method, and microstrip junctions of two different substrates where strip widths are varied to analyze the reflection characteristics numerically. It is noted that the result for the junction having a uniform strip width but different dielectric constants shows a similar characteristic with a conventional step-in-width discontinuity. The importance of this result is the implication that the junctions treated in this paper can be applied to the design of microwave passive circuits such as filters and matching networks.

        It has been made as analogeous electrical network for urban traffic network. An analogeous network is obtained from the dual network of the traffic network. Loop current of the electrical network is matched to complexity of crossroads of urban traffic network, and the product of loop current and impedance of the road is equal to its traffic volume. An example is presented from the center of Daegu city.

        A patient with uncontrollable postoperative renal hemorrhage was successfully treated by selective injection of gelfoam into the anterior inferior segmental branch of right renal artery. Follow up arteriography was done 16 days later. It revealed persistent occlusion of the bleeding vessels. This method is a simple effective procedure in cases of renal hemorrhage to diverse etiology without responsive management.

      • 게임 시나리오 동기화 모델 GSSM의 설계 및 구현

        기존의 시공간 동기화에 대한 연구는 대부분 멀티미디어 객체의 시간 동기화와 공간 동기화에 관한 연구가 이루어져 왔다. 이러한 연구는 시공간 동기화 표현에 있어서 게임의 운영 상황과 흡족히 일치하지를 못하고 있는 형편이다. 본 논문에서는 시공간 동기화에 대한 연구를 새로 제안된 시간과 공간, 시공간 언명으로 게임 시나리오에 적용하여 표현하고자 한다. 또한 시간과 공간, 시공간 공식으로 제안된 언명을 정형화된 표현법으로 나타내었으며, 게임 시나리오 동기화 모델(Game scenario Spatio-Temporal Synchronization Model : GSSM)을 설계하고 구현하였다. Most previous studies on the spatio-temporal synchronization had focused on either temporal or spatial synchronization of multimedia objects. They are not fully accorded with the status of game operation. In this paper, we apply new proposed temporal, spatial and spatio-temporal assertions for the study of spatio-temporal synchronization to game scenarios and represent them. Proposed assertions are presented with formal representations. Also, we design and implement GSSM(Game scenario Spatio-Temporal Synchronization Model) about assertions.

      • 가동보 설치에 따른 하상변동 예측에 관한 연구

        To estimate the change of riverbed geography by the operation of movable weir, two-dimensional RMA-2 and SED-2D were used in this study. Hydraulic elements like flowrate or depth were simulated by RMA-2 and the change of riverbed geography according to sediment transport was simulated by SED-2D. Suktop stream was chosen as a project river for the simulation. Under the condition of 50-year rainfall frequency, the estimated flood of Suktop was 123cms. At the points of movable weir the simulation results showed that the difference of high water level from the result of HEC-RAS was less than 0.64m. And the difference of water velocity was less than 0.21m/sec. Based on the sediment simulation by SED-2D, predicted riverbed elevation was 29.70-30.22m at the point of ST1 and 28.26~28.82m at the point of ST2. Measured riverbed elevation was 29.70-30.16m, 28.28-28.69m, respectively. So, the predicted elevations are closely similar to the measured elevation. At the point of ST1, sediment transport simulation results showed that erosion of riverbed was predicted by the operation of movable weir. This erosion was ranged up to 200m upstream and the riverbed would be eroded away as much as 0.07m for one year. At the point of ST2, upstream of movable weir would be eroded and the erosion depth was estimated 0.261m. The erosion was higher at the point of movable weir and the erosion depth was estimated 0.310m. But the sediment would be deposit downstream of the movable weir. SED-2D followed by RMA-2 is well applicable to the stream which has movable weirs and can estimate not only hydraulic parameters such as flowrate or depth but also riverbed elevation change caused by erosion or deposit of fluvial sediment.

      • 수리·통계모형에 의한 설계 갈수량 추정법 개발

        The method of a frequency analysis which takes advantage of annual low flow data is extensively used in our country when the design low flow is estimated. It is necessary to secure the measurement record of a long-term in this method and therefore it is not proper to apply this method for cases of measurement record of a short-term or an ungaged outlet. In work-site, generally, the design low flow of unmeasured station is determined by the secondhand method which utilizes the area ratio between the gaging station and the unmeasured station. However, this method using the area ratio is unreal and unreliable because the low flow that is different from the flood flow is affected by the topographical, the geological and the basin characteristics. A new proposal that estimates the design low flow by using the hydraulic-statistical model is made in this paper. A method the return period can be converted into the recession time is derived under an assumption that the dry spell is similar to the low-flow runoffs event. To induce the method(recession time model), two kinds of models are employed; One is the type I extremal value distribution as the dry spell model, and the other is the exponential linear recession equation as the low-flow runoffs model. The climate conditions, the watershed and the runoff characteristics are adopted as the parameters of the recession time model. Meanwhile, a recession model that can estimate the design low flow in the gaging station or the unmeasured station is made by using the results of the recession time model. The initial discharge and the recession constant are used as the parameter of the recession model. The present model derived from this study is applied into the outlet basin of Yongdam gaging station, and the estimated design low flow for the return period of 10 year is obtained as 2.14m3/sec which corresponds to 97% of standard low flow (2.22m3/sec). Resultantlv, it is concluded that the present model proposed in this paper can be effectively used as the alternative for estimation of the design low flow.

        The compatibility of three-channel stereophonic system with monochannel system and two-channel stereophonic system has been investigated. Algebraic approach to analyzing the compatibility of multichannel stereophonic system with monochannel system shows that the three-channel stereophonic system is not fully compatible with two-channel stereophonic system, in comparision with the compatibility of two-channel stereophonic system with monchannel system.
