        김기림의 <과학적 비평론>연구

        Kim, Ki-Lim's ‘Scientific Criticism' defies philosophical criticism and impressionistic criticism. It analyzes literary facts according to the scientific basis. Kim, Ki-Lim's ‘Scientific Poetics' is a poetics which is composed of poetical facts. It has a theoretical system which is constructed by the help of linguistics, sociology and psychology. It means that Kim Ki-Lim's ‘Scientific Poetics' is a approach to poetry on the aspects of linguistic structure, personal experience and social relatedness. Kim, Ki-Lim accepted theory of I.A. Richards in his ‘Scientific Poetics' on the basis of his reality-oriented literary opinion. When we critically scrutinize Kim, Ki-Lim's ‘Scientific Criticism', we can not help finding his methodological incongruity resulted from his unsuccessful performance to accept factual analysis and value judgement simultaneously. We also find sharpened friction between value and fact. This friction seems to be caused by Kim, Ki-Lim's misjudgement about intimate relationship between literary facts and theoretical perspective. But in spite of such an apparent misconceptions which is included in his theory, Kim, Ki-Lim's ‘Scientific Criticism' has a considerable importance in history of modern Korean criticism. Because It was the first modern criticism which tries to use scientific methodology throughly in understanding literature.

        Deformation Behaviors of Flat Rolled Wire in Twinning‑Induced Plasticity Steel

        The influence of room temperature flat rolling on microstructure, mechanical properties, and shape change in twinninginducedplasticity (TWIP) steel wire has been investigated to understand the deformation behaviors of flat rolled wire inTWIP steel and to apply TWIP steels to flat rolled wire products. Numerical simulation, hardness test, and EBSD techniqueswere used to analyze the distribution of strain, mechanical properties, and microstructure of flat rolled TWIP steel wire. Theshape of flat rolled TWIP steel wire was also evaluated and compared with plain carbon steels having low strain hardeningrate. A very different behavior of hardness, strain, twinning, and KAM value was observed with area of flat rolled wire dueto the different stress state and strain with area of wire. The center area had the maximum twin density, KAM value, effectivestrain, and hardness; whereas free surface area had the minimum values. The hardness inhomogeneity factor (HIF) along thehorizontal direction was much higher in comparison with that of the vertical direction. The maximum HIF value occurredat the specific reduction in height, i.e., 27%. This means HIF value gradually increased and then decreased with reduction inheight, which is inconsistent with the results of plain carbon steel and Cu wire. The lateral spread and width of contact areaof flat rolled TWIP steel wire were lower than those of plain carbon steels, indicating that material properties such as strainhardening exponent are crucial parameters that influence the shape of flat rolled wire products.

        치면세균막에서 분리한 뮤탄스 연쇄상구균 및 Streptococcus anginosus의 수종 항생제에 대한 감수성 조사

        The aim of this study was to investigate the susceptibility of mutans streptococci (S. mutans and S. sobrinus) and Streptococcus anginosus, for seven antibiotics, penicillin G, amoxicillin, ciprofloxacin, cefuroxime, erythromycin, bacitracin, and vancomycin. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of seven antibiotics against 3 species (type strains) of mutans streptococci and S. anginosus, 10 strains (wild type) of S. mutans, 7 strains (wild type) of S. sobrinus, and 11 strains (wild type) of S. anginosus, were measured by broth dilution method. All of the type strains of mutans streptococci and S. anginosus had the same susceptibility for penicillin G, amoxicillin, cefuroxime and bacitracin. Type strain of S. anginosus was sensitive in ciprofloxacin, but those of mutans streptococci were not. All of the clinical isolates of mutans streptococci and S. anginosus had the same susceptibility for the seven antibiotics. Our data reveal that mutans streptococci and S. anginosus have similar antibiotic-resistant character. In addition. these results may offer the basic data to verify the antibiotic-resistant mechanism of mutans streptococci and S. anginosus.

        인라인 스케이트 T300m 출발동작 분석

        Park, K-B, Yang, J-O and Lee, J-S. An Analysis of Starting Motions in Time 300m Inline Skating. Korean Journal of Sport Biomechanics, Vol. 13, No. 2, pp. 123-137. This study is to present more effective starting skills through analysis of kinematic characteristics of starting motions in 300m Time Trials of Inline Skating. To achieve this goal, 6 athletes, 3 in the national team and 3 in business teams were chosen and their starting motions were examined with three-dimensional image analyses. The results of analyses in regard of positions and speed of the bodily center and angles, angular velocity, and linear velocity of articulations of lower limbs by sections of starting motions are as follows; In case of the central position, though it is effective to reduce the air resistance by lowering the upper part of the body maximumly, it is reasonable to accelerate by raising the upper part of the body to some degree for the running posture at the lower speed in the starting section. In the starting section, it is efficient to minimize the period of time in touching the ground. For this, it is necessary to train for taking motions without slippage while touching the ground. While 3 athletes in business teams kicked the ground as running right after the starting, the others in the national team slid on the ground. As the number of steps increased, the movable speed changed quickly. Thus he movable speed of athletes in the national team indicated big differences in two to three steps. If these factors are well supported, the push-away starting method might be better than the running starting method in terms of improvement of records.

        주거기능의 도입을 위한 복합건축의 용도계획적 특성에 관한 연구 : 선진 외국사례를 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to extract the factors in determining the components and to clarify the correlation of the factors and residential uses in MXDs. For this purpose, discriminant analysis was conducted as the main research method and SPSS(Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) program was applied for statistical analysis. The results are summarized as follows : (1) The factors in determining the components are defined [Land Size], [Total Floor Space], [Development Density], [Development Entity], [Primary Use], [Site Location] and [Development Objectives]. (2) The factors affecting the Planning of the components are [Primary Use], [Development Objectives] and [Site Location]. (3) The significant internal items of these factors are 'U1(Office Uses)', 'U2(Retail Uses)', 'U3(Hotel Uses)', 'S1(Existing Residential District)', 'S3(CBD)', 'S5(Suburban CBD)' and 'O2(Community)'. (4) Through these results, we were able to extract the relationship of the internal items and residential uses.

      • 全南地域 金屬鑛山 周邊 耕作土壤의 重金屬合有量 調査硏究

        휴ㆍ폐금속광산 주변의 경작지에 대해 토양오염의 실태를 파악하고 토양오염방지 및 사후관리 대책 수립에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하기 위하여 전남지역에 분포한 금속광산지역을 대상으로 중금속함유량을 조사하였다. 시료채취 지점은 광산으로부터의 거리에 따라 Ⅰ, Ⅱ 지역으로 나누어 중금속 농도를 측정하였다 그 결과 경작지의 중금속함유량은 광산으로부터의 거리보다는 선별방법이나 금속을 추출하고 남은 선광부산물인 광재나 폐석등의 주변환경에 더 크게 의존함을 알 수 있었다. 토양오염우려기준에 비교하여 볼 때 A, D, E 광산주변의 경작지에서 Cu, As, Cd 함량이 각각 높게 함유하고 있는 것으로 나타났으나 토양오염대책기준에는 조사된 9개 광산주변 경작지 모두에서 낮게 나타났다. To know a degree of soil pollution in cultivated soil around 9 un worked metal mines located in Chonnam area, we investigated concentrationes of heavy metals depending on a distance apart from mine. From the results there were little relation between the distance and the degree of pollution. It was observed that the content of heavy metals in the areas were mainly affected by a condition of the mines such as slag refining and mining methods, etc.. Compared with apprehensive standards, it showed that Cu, As, Cd concentration of Kwangyang(chonam mine), Bosung(myoungbong mine), Naju(deokeum mine) were respectively higher then other mine. But, all investigated area contained the heavy metals lower than a counter measure standards.

      • 감천항에서의 파랑특성에 관한 연구

        Copeland's(1985) hyperbolic mild-slope equation including diffraction, refraction and reflection in the wave field is used as a governing equation in this study. Maruyama & Kajima's(1985) result is used to calculate wave direction and Watanabe & Maruyama's(1986) is used as a energy dissipation formula. Numerical solutions are obtained by Leap-Frog scheme and compared with Watanabe & Maruyama's(1984) hydraulic experimental results and numerical simulation results for the detached breakwater. This wave model is applied to a detached breakwater and compared with Watanabe and Maruyama's(1984) hydraulic model results to check the characteristics of reflected wave field around a detached breakwater. The distribution of wave height and wave phase in front of a detached breakwater is more accurate than the Watanabe and Maruyama's numerical results. The results from our wave model show good agreements with the others and also show nonlinear effects around the detached breakwater. This model is applied to the Gamcheon harbor of Pusan region. The field observations were carried out at Pusan harbor wave station on 1986-1995 and the results were accepted as a design wave condition in this study. The wave height and wave period was measured by Dong-A university at one station in the Gamcheon harbor on 1996-1997 and used as a calibration criterion. The measured data were used as input data for numerical simulation and also compared with simulated results. The numerical simulation shows a farely good results which considering the effect of topographic characteristics and effect of narrow entrance due to two separated breakwaters in Gamcheon harbor. The wave distribution characteristics in the inside Gamcheon habor is farely different with the offshore wave direction and wave period.

        한국 복싱의 退潮에 관한 小考

        This paper started from a necessity to reconsider boxing sports, the only sports game that brought about our patriotism during the time when most of us were poor, and flied away out stress and anger, also, that made us dream and have a hope. The boxing game attracted people's interest at that time, meeting the spirit of hungry. However, boxing sports became an unpopular game nobody pays attention to. The reason was that all boxing games mobilized many boxing players and enthusiastic audience in the past, but as GNP elevated greatly, there are few hungry persons, the spirit of hungry was subdued, the number of players drastically decreased, demand of audience reduced, people don't enjoy watching boxing games, there are few spectators in boxing gyms, no sponsors support relay broadcasting for boxing games. Furthermore, results have been very poor in various amateur international boxing match, all broadcasting stations became to dislike relay broadcasting of international matches. A certain broadcasting station regularly sent out pro-boxing game programs every weekend for 45 years as it took a full charge of pro-boxing game, but frequency of relay broadcasting reduced now, and the reason that the popularity rating is lower than other popular sports games made the station avoid relay broadcasting, These results mean that reducing number of TV relay broadcasting showing the highest PR effect made boxing games inactive. Summing up the study, the reasons that boxing games have declined popular sports games' appearing, high-leveled foreign players' watching TV games, the law of diminishing marginal utility, and democratized society. As a result, demand of boxing games rapidly reduced. However, boxing games in Korea must remember Kim, Ki-su's acquisition of championship on July the 25th, 1966, WBA championships obtained by 16 players including Hong, Su-wan, Yu, Myung-woo, Park, Jong-pal, Mun, Seong-kil, and 11 WBC championships acquired by Yeon, Dong-kyun, Jang, Jeong-gu. They surely won an international fame flying the taegeuk flag all over the world. Also, in spite of short history of woman pro-boxing, Lee, In-young acquired a world championship, therefore, Korea still has a hope to meet another new jumping moment.

      • 분말충진방법과 가공정도에 따른 Ag/BSCCO 초전도선재의 특성

        We evaluated the effects of processing variables on interface irregularity. microstructure. and resultant Jc of BSCCC superconductor tape. For the tapes made by PIT technique. the degree of interface irregularity was varied with powder packing methods and forming process variables. It was observed that the degree of interface irregularity of the tape by CIP method was more reduced. compared to that of the tape by ram method. In addition. the degree of interface irregularity was promoted with decreasing the dimension of tape during forming process. As the dimension of wire/tape were changed from diameter of 3.25mm to thickness of 200㎛ during forming process. Jc value was observed to be increased by 10 times. It was likely that the improvenment of Jc was mainly result from the enhanced texturing of 2223 grain. Microstructural investigation showed the degree of texturing was degraded by the existence of both second phases and interface irregularity. If the interface was flat, larger grain size and better texturing near interface were developed compared to those inside superconducting core, The improvements of microstructure near interface may be result of reaction between Ag and superconductor phase.
