Schon oft ist versucht worden, den Begriff der Romantik zu definieren. Immer erwies es sich als eine fast aussichtlose Bemuhung. Es gehort zum Wesen der Romantik, daβ ihre Grenzen flieβ end sind. Der Begriff "Romantik", "romantisch" ist vielseitig und mehrdeutig. Ausgangswort ist altfranzosisch "romanz": ein in der Volkssprache geschriebener hofischer Vers-Roman. Schiliβ lich seit etwa 1770 ist romantisch=romanisch der Gegensatz zu antik and umfaβ t die nordisch-germanische und die sudlich-romanische Kultur des Mittelalters. Von Friedrich Schlegel wurde der Begriff ausgedehnt auf die moderne Poesie. Die literarische Romantik begann gegen Ende des 18. Jahrhunderts und wirkte bis uber das erste Drittel des 19. Jahrhunderts. Es gibt eine gute Sammlung von Definitionen der Romantik, die bis zum heutigen Tage mehr order weniger gebraucht worden sind: Ruckkehr zum Mittelalter. Liebe zum Exotischen, Aufstand gegen den Verstand, Behauptung des Individuums, Befreiung des Idealismus. Wiederaufleben dis Katholizismus, Ablehnung kunstlerischer Konventionen, Ruckkehr zum Emotionalismus, Ruckkehr zur Natur und so weiter. Die Romantiker entdeckten die Machte im Unter-und Unbewuβten: Traum, Ahnung, Sehnsucht, das Magische, Zauberische und Gespenstische, den Magnetismus der Seele und die Geheimnisse der Mythen. Bei weiterer Entwicklung ergab sich als Inhalt des Romantischen die Betonung des Phantasievollen, des Gefuhls, des Wunderbaren, Phantastischen, der Stimmung, des Korperlosen, Unbegrenzten im Gegensatz zur Klarheit, Plastik, Begrenzung der festen Linie des Klassischen, der Gegensatz des Subjektiven zum Objektiven. Die deutsche Romantik wird chronologisch eingeteilt in die Fruhromantik, mittlere Romantik und Spatromantik, und deren Autoren sind wie folgt klassifiziert: Die Romantik(1798-1835 od. 1797-1830) 1) Fruhromantik(1798-1804) Fichte, Schelling, Schleiermacher, Die Bruder Schlegel, Wackenroder, Tieck und Novalis. 2) Mittlere Romantik(1805-1815) Brentano, Arnim, Bettina von Arnim, E.T.A. Hoffmann, Eichendorff, Chamisso, Fougue, Arndt, Korner, Schenkendorf, Gorres, Die Bruder Grimm, Zacharias Werner, W. Muller. 3) Spatromantik(1816-1835) Uhland, Schwab, J. Kerner, W. Hauff, morike, J.P. Hebel

In this thesis I tried to find out the characteristics of Heinrich von Kleist's eight novellas: "The earthquake in Chile", "The Marquise of O...", "Michael Kohlhaas", "The beggarwoman of Locarno", "St. Cecilia or the power of music", "The betrothal in Santo Domingo", The foundling and "The Duel". At first I defined the german novella as a new extraordinary event (='unerho‥rte Begebenheit') and summarized all the Kleist's novellas. And then I emphasized that Heist wrote an exact time and place of the extraordinary event at the first page of his stories. That is to say, the reader can meet the protagonist, who has problematic relationship with his times or social order, at the beginning of the novella. So we can concentrate easily on the whole event of his stories. At last, I concluded the thematic problems in Kleist's eight novellas: 1) love affairs between man and woman, 2) the justice and law problems in the society, 3) the religious and metaphysical problems. Indeed Kleist s novellas embody the german 'Novelle' to the highest degree.

카프카의『流刑地에서』연구

In diesem Aufsatz have ich versucht, Franz Kafkas Erzahlung "In der Strafkolonie"(1919) zu analysieren. Wie in den anderen fruheren Werken des Kafkas geht es auch in dieser Erzahlung um die Frage nach Schuld, Gericht und Strafe. Das Problem der Schuld -und zwar nicht einer einzelnen Verfehlung, sondern das der universellen Verschuldung hat Kafka unablassig beschaftigt. Der Verurteilte wird freigelassen und lebt weiter, der Offizier, der Richter und einziger Vertreter und Anhanger dieses Gerichts-und. Hinrichtungsverfahrens in einer tropikalen Strafkolonie wird stattdessen hingerichtet. Das ist eine auffallende Veranderung in Kafkas Schaffensstufe. Fast alle Hauptifiguren von Kafkas fruheren Werken werden wegen ihrer Schuld getotet oder sterben grausam. Georg Wendemann im "Urteil" wird von seinem Vater zum Tode des Ertrinkenens verurteilt und lieβ sich ins Wasser hinabfallen. Gregor Samsa in der "Verwandlung" stirbt vom Apfelbomben seines Vatersw einsam in seinem Zimmer. Josef K. im "Porzeβ" wird schlieβlich wegen unbekannten Schuld von unerreichbaren Gericht wie ein Hund hingerichtet. In diesem Sinne ist die Erzahlung "In der Strafkolonie" nicht nur ein bedeutendes Wendepunkt-Werk in seiner schopferischen Entwicklungen zu bezeichnen sondern auch ein Urteil uber das Gerichts-und Hinrichtungsverfahren.

This paper presents a result of application of input shaping to a micro-stage with a displacement amplification mechanism. The stage considered in this study is subjected to severe residual vibration in its lever mechanism to amplify displacement. The system dynamics exhibit some nonlinear nature due to the hysteresis of the PZT actuator. Input shaping method is successfully applied to the system so as to eliminate residual vibration from the system. The experimental study also shows that staircase input is useful to avoid the performance degrade by the nonlinear characteristics.

I've tried to analyse Kleist's 《The Duel》 on the points of its contents and structure. The contents of this novella was divided by 5 parts: 1. An anonymuos murder broke out, 2. a suspected step-brother made a reasonable alibi, so seemed to be guiltless and he accused a woman, who seemed not to be innocent. 3. the duel, which originated from religious customs in the Middle age, was held in order to prove the innocency of each other. 4. the result of the deul brought about a crucial trust crisis between accused woman and her vindicator. 5. the mysterious riddle was solved crearly by the proofs and murderer's confession. The author used a technique of detective story as a characteristic structure of this novella. So this story was composed just like 5-acts tectonic drama: Exposition, development, crisis, fall and catastrophe. The author manipulates omniscient story-teller tactfully in this novella. In conclusion, Kleist's 《The Duel》 belongs to one of best novellas because it tells us not only the problem of man's arbitrary interpretation of God's will in his contemporaries but also all Kleistian narrative technics.

하인리히 폰 클라이스트의 노벨레(Novelle) "미하엘 콜하스"(Michael Kohlhaas) 연구

In this study, I have tried to analyze the form and meaning of Heinrich von Kleist's best novella "Michael Kohlhaas"(1810). At first I summed up the brief story of this Novella. Secondly, I divided this novella into macro- and micro-structure and analyzed the contents of each part. Especially, I divided this novella into 4 story-phase and found out the principle of structure: opposition and equivalence. Thirdly, I suggest that this novella in essence deals with two lawsuits. One is the lawsuit in which protagonist horse-dealer Kohlhaas complains to the Saxony authority in Dresden against the Junker Wenzel von Tronka for his black horses and loss. The other is the lawsuit in which Kohlhaas was accused by the Imperial Attorney Goneral from Vienna in the charge of breach of the peace of the Holy Roman Empire. The action at Dresden against Junker Wenzel von Tronka triumphed in every point. Kohlhaas turned to the scaffold where his head fell beneath the executioner's axe.

전자석 작동기를 이용한 드릴의 선회진동제어 : Control of the Whirling Vibration of the Drill by Electromagnetic Actuator

The drill is the most widely used tool in the world to make holes on the workpiece. But the performance of the drill is affected by many factors. One of them is to get the position of the drill at the beginning of the penetrating stage. The drill vibrates laterally while it rotates. Especially in case of a thin and long drill, the magnitude of the whirling vibration of the drill becomes very large and makes critical problem. Therefore, several methods have been used to get a correct position during drilling process. As an example, center drills or guides are used to make the drill get correct position. But these methods are passive. In this paper, studies for an active control are carried out to get the correct position of the drill by reducing the whirling vibration of the drill which occurs before the drill contacts the workpiece. The active phase lead algorithm is applied in order to control the vibration of a twist drill, which has dimension as follows: diameter φ3 and length 150mm.

The meeting is considered as the one of the most important conferences in power system sector. The recent major issues in power system sector are observed as the power system restructuring, power system economics, hydrogen economics, power system blackouts, and power line comminications. We have got many ideas for future research topics and the research trends of the major institute.
