      • 횡문근융해증과 경한 신손상을 동반한 급성 A형 간염 1예

        A 48-year-old male visited the emergency room of the authors’ hospital due to nausea, vomiting, and myalgia for four days. Acute hepatitis A was identified from the serologic marker of the hepatitis A virus. Mild elevation of the serum creatinine and creatinine phosphokinase(CPK) suggested rhabomyolysis, which was confirmed with the serum aldolase, myoglobin, and urine myoglobin. With supportive care, both the liver and renal func- tions were recovered gradually and fully. This case shows that rhabdomyolysis can be one of the mechanisms of renal complication in cases of acute symptomatic hepatitis A.

      • 폴리에스테르 섬유 고속방사중 필라멘트의 냉각과정 분석

        High speed fiber spinning of polyethylene terephthalate(PET) was simulated at take-up speed of 6000m/min utilizing generalized steady state governing equations of melt spinning and some other assumed relationship for structure formation. In the present paper, the effect of changes of quench air temperature on the spinning line were mainly discussed. Distance of necking point and stress from the spinneret was elongated when higher quench air temperature was applied. Changes of necking point and stress may affect the development of PET fiber structure in the high speed threadline.

      • 피나무(Tilia amurensis), 뽕잎피나무(T. taquetii), 일본피나무(T. japonica)의 형질분석을 통한 분류학적 한계

        본 연구는 한국산 피나무속의 3종(T.amurensis, T. insularis, T. taquetii)과 일본피나무(T.japonica)를 대상으로 6개 정량 형질(잎의 길이와 폭, 털의 밀도, 화경의 길이, 열매의 길이와 폭)을 비교 검토하였다. T.amurensis(피나무)와 T. insularis(섬피나무) T. taquetii(뽕잎피나무)는 기존에 잎의 크기와 털의 정도가 주요 형질로 알려져 있지만 본 연구결과 모두 뚜렷한 구분이 없는 연속변이를 보였다. 또한, 일본피나무와 국내 자생 피나무와 비교한 결과 기존에 알려진 화경의 길이에서 차이를 보였는데 제한된 개체를 근간으로 조사한 결과 일본피나무가 다소 긴 것을 확인하였다. 국내 자생 피나무, 섬피나무, 뽕잎피나무의 경우 독립된 종이기보다는 모두 피나무의 지역적 변이체임을 확인함과 동시에 동일종으로 처리하는 것이 타당하다고 생각한다. 그러나, 일본피나무의 경우는 좀 더 많은 개체수를 확보하여 화경의 길이에 대해 보다 자세한 조사가 이루어져야 할 것으로 생각된다. The hair density and type of leaf and bract, size of leaf and absence/presence of staminodes are important to recognize many taxa of Tilia. The systematic relationships among T. amurensis, T. insularis, T. taquetii in Korea and T. japonica in Japan were confused and were not clarified yet. Flower and fruit specimens of 121 individuals were sampled to investigate patterns of intraspecific variation and to evaluate the species delimitation among Tilia amurensis, T. taquetii, T. insularis, and T. japonica using six characters. The morphological differentiation among T. amurensis, T. insularis, and T. taquetii was not sufficient to warrant recognition of either specific or varietal status and should be treated as conspecific under T. amurensis. Based on results of limited number of specimens, the morphological discontinuity between T. amurensis and T. japonica was found only in peduncle length. Further study on this reproductive character are required to conduct any taxonomic treatment on these taxa.

      • 광섬유 내의 산란광을 이용한 분포형 온도 센서 시스템에 관한 연구

        A distributed temperature sensor using optical fiber can monitor temperature at every point along its length. It is based on OTDR using Raman scattering, and optical fiber itself is used an sensing device. It detects weak Raman scattering intensities generated at various point along the optical fiber path. The temperature distribution is derived from the intensity of the Raman scattering light and the time between light injection and signal detection. In this paper, the principle of sensing, the system design and the results of experiments are reported.

        제지폐수의 응집특성에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 우유팩을 이용하여 재생용 화장지를 만드는 제지공장의 제지폐수를 이용하여 폐수의 침강특성 및 SS, BOD_5, 제거 효율을 검토하고, Jar-tester를 이용하여 급속교반시간, 완속교반 시간에 따른 탁도, SS, BOD_5 및 최적 응집제 주입량을 결정하였다. 각종 응집제 첨가 및 침강 특성에 의한 탁도제거의 효율을 측정하였다. 적정 응집제 첨가량, 급속교반 및 완속교반의 시간에 따른 처리 효율의 이론식을 제시하였다. 또한 응집제 Polyalunlinium chloride(PAC) 및 Aluminium sulfate의 응집 비교 실험을 행하였다. Sedimentation characteristics SS, BOD_5 and removal efficiency of waste water in the tissue paper mill using milk carton were examined. Optimum dosage of coagulant, rapid mixing time and slow mixing time were determined by turbidity. SS and S-BOD_5 and then equation for treatment efficiency was suggested. For the coagulant, polyalumimium chloride(PAC) are compared with a little better efficiency compare to the aluminium sulfate.

      • 복압성요실금(Stress urinary incontinence)과 절박성요실금(Urge incontinence)환자에서 TVT 수술 결과의 비교

        Tension-free vaginal tape(TVT) has been widely used in the management of stress urinary incontinence(SUI), and has been applied to urge incontinence (UI). We evaluated and compared the outcomes between SUI and UI for patients who had undergone TVT. Patients were categorized into SUI(33 patients) and UI(26 patients). Before treatment, we asked about LUTSs using female bladder questionnaire. And we asked about sexual function. After treatment, the same questionnaires were repeated. During the postperative period, the objective and subjective success rate were evaluated. For operation outcome results, in SUI group there were 29 cases of cure (87.9%)and 2 of improvement(6.1%), and in UI group there were 20 cases of cure(76.9%)and 3 of improvement(11.5%) (p>0.05). The operation satisfaction rate of patients was 90.9% in SUI group and 84.6% in UI group(p>0.05). Improvement of sexual satisfaction occurred in 6(20.0%) of SUI group, and 3 (18.8%) of UI group, respectively(p>0.05). The objective success rate, satisfaction rate and sexual satisfaction of SUI patients did not significantly differ from the women with UI. Also, these results shows that TVT procedure improves some LUTSs in both groups. We consider the TVT procedure to be an effective treatment not for stress urinary incontinence but also urge incontinenece.

        어트랙터 해석을 이용한 AISI 304강 열화 신호의 카오스성 평가

        This study proposes the analysis and evaluation method of time series ultrasonic signal using the chaotic feature extraction for degradation extent. Features extracted from time series data using the chaotic time series signal analyze quantitatively material degradation extent. For this purpose, analysis objective, in this study, is fractal dimension, lyapunov exponent and strange attractor on hyperspace. The lyapunov exponent is a measure of the rate at which nearby trajectories in phase space diverge. Chaotic trajectories have at least one positive lyapunov exponent. The fractal dimension appears as a metric space such as the phase space trajectory of a dynamical system. In experiment, fractal(correlation) dimensions and lyapunov exponents showed values of mean 3.837∼4.211 and 0.054∼0.078 in case of degradation material. The proposed chaotic feature extraction in this study can enhances ultrasonic pattern recognition results from degradation signals.

        시화호의 배수갑문 운용에 따른 수질변화

        To evaluate the change for water quality after the water gate operation in Shiwha lake, in situ survey were conducted on september in 2000 and January, march, jane in 2001. Chemical characteristics and eutrophication level was estimated estimated from the survey data. The water quality of the Shinhwa lake was greatly affected by pollutant load from rainfall, and formation of stratification of chlorophyll-a was occurred in autumn, due to increased nutrient, high water temperature and low salinity after rainfall runoff. The mean concentration of DIN, DIP were 0.346mg/L 0.0217mg/L in surface water and 0.826mg/L, 0.0415mg/L in bottom water, respectively, which were over Ⅲ grade of seawater standard. Also high percentage of ammonia nitrogen to DIN in bottom water for autumn and winter was affected by released nutrient from sediment Correlation analysis of chlorophyll-a versus TSS was shown that organic matter was affected by autochthonous organic matter stem from the algae, these factor showed reverse correlation about salinity. Closely correlations among to the water quality constituent in continuity survey was appeared. The results of eutrophication index estimation showed the high potentiality of red tide occurrence in Shiwha lake, particularity in summer or fall. Overall water quality was greatly improve to compared with measuring data during 1997∼1998 at the beginning water gate operation, which reported by KORDI. Therefore, to improve of water quality in Shinwha lake, we need to establish of managemant plan about nutrient release from sediment, rainfall, maximum of seawater exchange.

        From a knowledge of the source impedence, the radiation impedence to the atmosphere and the four-pole parameters of all the sections of a silencer, it is possible to determine the transmission loss of the silencer. Since the gas in exhaust system of engine is flowing with high temperature we have to consider mean flow and temperature gradient effects to obtain accurate results. In this paper we will compare four-pole parameters with mean flow and linear temperature gradient effects with several other simpler cases already in the literature and then evaluate the availability of these in exhaust system.

      • 산을 취급하는 화학 분석공의 치아 부식증 1례

        본 증례는 38세 남자로 내화물에 대한 화학 분석을 실시하는 실험실에서 염산을 비롯한 산에 17년 동안 폭로된 예이며, 약 8년 전부터 치아에 이상 소견을 감지하였다. 1996년 7월 증례의 치아를 관찰한 결과 치경부에서 중절치의 중앙 부위까지 순면의 외형을 따라 반월형의 모양을 하고 있었다. 병소의 크기는 치경부에 거의 인접한 부위, 순면에서 측면으로 이행되는 부위에서 약간 순면 쪽, 치경부와 치아 절단면의 중간 부위를 경계로 하고 있었다. 병변의 깊이는 병소의 가장자리에서 중앙으로 갈수록 깊어지며 가장 깊은 부위는 약 1.5 mm 정도의 깊이를 보이고 있었으며, 변색된 부위는 가장 깊은 부위는 범랑질, 상아질이 모두 포함되었고 이 부위에 갈색의 반점이 관찰되었다. 병소의 표면은 전체적으로 매끈한 양상을 보이고 있으나 치경부의 일부와 특히 순면의 중앙부에서 범랑질 부위가 일부 불규칙한 양상을 보이고 있었으며, 상악 좌측 중절치의 경우 반월형의 병소 중앙 부위는 덜 침식되어 약간 탐침형의 돌출된 상태를 보이고 있었다. 1년 후인 1997년 7월에는 1년 전과 거의 비슷한 양상을 보이고 있었으며, 병소의 중앙부는 보다 깊어져 2 mm 정도의 깊이로 관찰되었으며 상아질부위의 노출이 보다 많아지고 갈색의 반점이 보다 넓어지고 색조가 진하게 된 것을 관찰할 수 있었다. 2년 후인 1998년 7월 부식성 병소는 전반적으로 약간 확대되고 보다 깊어져서 전치의 중앙부에서 3 mm 깊이로 측정되었으며, 이 부위에서 관찰되던 갈색의 반점도 거의 부식되어 사라지고 치수강이 비쳐 보이는 회색의 반점이 관찰되었다. 산을 취급하는 경우 구강 내로 흡입시 가장 먼저 상악 전치부에 접촉할 확률이 높고, 중절치의 순면 중앙에서 치경부로 불규칙하지만 매끈한 표면을 가지는 병소를 2년간 관찰한 결과 산부식에 의한 병소로 진단함이 적절하다고 생각한다. Dental erosion is a loss of tooth substance by a chemical process. The smooth lesions, which exhibit no chalkiness, occur most frequently on the labial and buccal surfaces of the teeth. They also may occur on proximal surfaces. Dental erosion is a well-recognized hazard in many industries involving the use of acids. Authors report a case of dental erosion suspected to be associated with hydrochloric acid exposure. The patient was a 38-year-old male. He worked on a brick manufacturing factory and he exposed to hydrochloric acid in laboratory room for 17 years. Dental erosive lesions on upper central incisors showed shallow, broad, highly polished irregular scooped-out depression on the enamel surface adjacent to the cementoenamel junction and involved the dentin. Also the brownish spots suspected as secondary dentin on the center of lesions could be observed. And the lesions were progressed for 2 years. It was suggested that hydrochloric acid would have induced dental erosive lesions in this case.
