Testing Antecedents of Security Intentions of Privacy Information
Jongki Kim,Yong-eun Moon 한국로고스경영학회 2009 한국로고스경영학회 학술발표대회논문집 Vol.2009 No.7월
Due to the increased ubiquity of information technology, and the corresponding value of information resources, identity theft is a problem domain effecting millions of computer users annually. The purpose of this study is to develop and test a model of user perceptions related to the safeguarding of personal information. We found that user perceptions about the value of assets, threats and vulnerabilities influenced their perceived level of risk. Further, risk was a significant antecedent of behavioral intentions related to safe information practice. The constructs were validated through several development phases and the model was empirically tested using structural equation modeling.

Direct injection of genome editing tools such as CRISPR/Cas9 system into developing embryos has been widely used to generate genetically engineered pigs. The approach allows us to produce pigs carrying targeted modifications at high efficiency without having to apply somatic cell nuclear transfer. However, the targeted modifications during embryogenesis often result in mosaicism, which causes issues in phenotyping founder animals and establishing a group of pigs carrying intended modifications. This study was aimed to establish a genomic PCR and sequencing system of a single blastomere in the four-cell embryos to detect potential mosaicism. We performed genomic PCR in four individual blastomeres from four-cell embryos. We successfully amplified target genomic region from single blastomeres of 4-cell stage embryo by PCR. Sanger sequencing of the PCR amplicons obtained from the blastomeres suggested that PCR-based genotyping of single blastomere was a feasible method to determine mutation type generated by genome editing technology such as CRISPR/Cas9 in early stage embryos. In conclusion, we successfully genotyped single blastomeres in a single 4-cell stage embryo to detect potential mosaicism in porcine embryos. Our approach offers a simple platform that can be used to screen the prevalence of mosaicism from designed CRISPR/Cas9 systems.

As mobile devices become widely used, mobile e-commerce is also getting more attention. The m-commerce market is expanding rapidly in Korea. Mobile devices are more vulnerable to security and privacy threats because they are based on inherently less secure wireless network protocol. Consumers consider information privacy as one of the major factors influencing the use of m-commerce. This study establishes a research model to identify factors influencing behavioral intention of providing privacy information in the context of m-commerce. With extensive validation of research instrument, empirical analysis was conducted with the data of 238 questionnaires. Statistical analysis results as well as theoretical and practical implications were discussed.
