      • 선인장 양심실 보조장치의 설계 및 임상적용을 위한 평가

        현재 개발되고 있는 맥동형 이식형 인공심장은 완전이식형 인공심장과 좌심실보조장치 뿐이다. 좌심실보조장치를 장착한 환자의 10~15%가 우심실의 보조를 필요로하고 완전이식형 인공심장의 장착을 위해서는 자연심장을 제거해야하는 상황에서 이식형 양심실보조장치에 대한 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 연구진은 완전이식형 인공심장으로 개발된 한국형 인공심장을 개선하여 양심 실 보조장치를 개발하였다. 양심실보조장치는 이동형 작동기식 미케니즘을 이용하고 있으며 에너지 변환장치와 감속기로 구성된 작동기와 혈액주머니, 그리고 내장형 제어기로 구성되어 있다. 선인장 펌프로 명명된 KAH350은 캐뉼라의 연결을 위한 커넥터를 포함하여 길이 177mm, 폭 164mm, 높이 67 이고 무게 780g이며 최대 심박출량은 5L/min 이다. 양심실보조장치로 개발된 선인장펌프는 좌심실보조장치로도 응용이 가능하다. 이식적합성과 생체적합성을 평가하기 위하여 좌심실보조장치로 5회, 양싱실보조장치로 6회의 동물실험을 수행하였다. 각각 최장 28일간 생존하였으며 11회의 동물실험중 장치의 결함에 의한 것이 3회 있었는데 이들은 모두 전자장치의 결함과 방수처리문제였다. 현재 이식적합성과 일박출량을 향상시킨 KAH400모델이 개발중이다. The types of pulsatile implantable artificial hearts that are on the way of development and have been developed are totally implantable artificial heart and implantable left ventricular assist device (LVAD). Approximately 10% to 15% of all patients Implanted with wearable VADs have required right heart support with another device. And it is reluctant to patient who should remove his or her own heart to be implanted with total artificial heart. These situations drive the development of implantable bi-ventricular assist device (BVAD). The Korean BVAD was develophed by modifying the moving actuator type Korean artificial heart. This electro-mechanical BVAD comprises actuator including energy converter and reduction gear train, blood sacs, and internal motor and energy controllers. The KAH350 which is named as 'Cactus Pump' is 177mm in length, 164mm in width, and 67mm in thickness including connectors and nuts. The weight and maximum cardiac output of Cactus Pump is 780g and 5L/min, respectively. The Cactus Pump that was developed as BVAD could be used as LVAD by attaching compliance caps on the 2 ports of one ventricle. The animal experiments were undergone 5 times for LVAD, and 6 times for BVAD. The best records were 28 days survival in both applications. There were 3 times of device failure and they were all associated with electrical connection and hermetic sealing. The KAH400 that has improved anatomical fitting characterisitcs and stroke volume is on development.

      • 韓國 南西部 內陸 海岸 島嶼地域의 氣候要素 分布 및 變化

        According to the classification of climate by Ko^‥ppen and McCune, the Korean peninsula belongs to the C (temperate) and D(polar) climatic divisions. This division is further divided into a local climatic area, thus the climate of the southwest inland area, seacoast and islands belong to CSW and CS climatic types. The climate of the northwest monsoon area which is affected bf the oceanic and the chinese continent climatic type is classified by the distribution of land and sea. For this study, two sites in the CSW and CS areas and the boundary area between the CSW and CS areas were selected, and the distribution of climatic elements were examined according to such weather data of the last ten year (1972 to 1981) as air temperature, amounts of precipitation and evaporation, relative humidity, duration of sunshine, wind speed and fog days. The air temperature showed a wide annua1 range in the order of Jeonju, Gwangju, Goheung, Mogpo, Yeosu and Wando, so the temperature was identical with the theoretical numbers. The precipitation was conspicuously high on island, showing a temperate type precipitation and large annual variation. It is a peculiar phenomenon that the coastal areas had the least annual mean precipitation. The humidity of Inlands, seacoast, and islands areas was similar to one another. The humidity in summer showed a high measurement, thus Indicating that the theoretical numbers were different from the actual measurements. The duration of sunshine in the selected sites was longest in May and August and shortest in June and July. and the duration on islands was longer than that of inlands. The amount of evaporation was similar to the duration of sunshine, so the amount was high in May and August, and low in December and January. The small amount of evaporation in June is connected with the duration of sunshine. It is a peculiar phenomenen that the amount of evaporation in Gwangju area was higher than that of the other areas. The wind speed in winter was higher than in summer, and the seacoast area's wind speed was particularly high. The fog days were very frequent in June and July in the coastal areas of Yeosu, Mogpo and Wando, and the other areas showed similar fog days all the year round. Especially, Yeosu showed conspicuously frequent annual mean fog days compared with the other areas.

        In order to find the effects of exercise intensity on body composition depending on the exercise time and grade of intensity, 7 healthy male students enrolled in the W University who have similar physical constitutions were selected as model group. They underwent the tests to determine the change and difference of physical conditions depending on the exercising intensities divided by 30% VO₂max, ventilation threshold intensity and 75% VO₂max for each span of time divided by 5 min., 10 min., 15 min. and 20 min. during the stable period and by 5 min. and 10 min. during the restoring period, respectively. The outcomes of the tests are summed up as follows; 1. the exercise group of 75% VO₂max shows the highest rate of sweating(P<.01), followed by the groups of ventilation threshold(P<.01) and 35% VO₂max in order. 2. the body fat decreases after exercise compared to that before exercise in the exercise groups of 30% VO₂max and ventilation threshold but its difference is statistically insignificant. But the decrease by 1.04ℓ before and after exercise in the exercise group of 75% VO₂max should be regarded as statistically significant(P<.05).

        This paper deals with loss analysis in inverter circuits controlled by pulse width modulation method. The loss in inverter circuits may be produced in active switching elements, passive switching elements, and snubber circuit. The losses in active switching elements are classified into the conduction losses and switching losses, and can be reduced by the selection of elements with low saturation voltage and short turn-on/turn-off times. There are also conduction losses and switching losses in passive switching elements and these losses can be reduced by selecting the fast recovery diode with low forward voltage drop and short reverse recovery time. The loss in snubber circuit is relatively small and can be ignored. As an example, the loss calculation and analysis are carried out in the prototype three-phase VSI(Voltage Source Inverter) for electric vehicles.

        This study has been intended to arrange the theory on the difinition, features, objectives, limits, and right of contignity in tourism right by using a term of tourism right which has not been provide for in the constitutional law among the derivatives from a branch of law, to grasp the relaton between the right of various kinds provided for in the constitution and the tourism right, and to seek after the constitutional stipulation of tourism right through comparative analysis of the foreign cases. The tourism right, one of the comples drived-rights, has been recognized as comprehensively basic right involving the active right for movement, right as means to pursue happiness, and right which is to lead a life worthy of man The tourism right posesses all characteristics of human dignity, worthy of the man, pursuit of happiness, peace, and limitations for national security, maintenance of order, and common-wealth. Thus there are three major objectives in the tourism right which is jto improve the quality of national life and the tourism environment, and to increase the tourism value, and this three major objectives have deep relation to the constitutionally basic right of various kinds. I would like to propose the following-articles on the basis of the previously stated study. 1. To demand for the insertion of tourism right, as constitutional stipulation, into the constitution. 2. To advice the enactment and adoption of the national charter of tourism. 3. To make request for the improvement of the existing statute related to the tourism and the establishment of the article concerning the right and duty of the tourist concerned 3. To be anxious for the propulsion of world-wide unific legislation concerning itinerary procedures such as immigration control law, etc

        This study was about writing of a plan of athletic evaluation based on the methods of average and regressive evaluation for second grade student's satisfaction and achievement in D high school. It was used Microsoft Excel 97 program and Spss for MS Windows Release 6.1 program to data analysis. The result were as follows : 1) A correlation coefficent between long jump and height of student was 0.75 There was seen to very high correlation between. 2) The results showed that there was difference between groups in satisfaction test on the average and regressive evaluation. 3) There were showed significant differences between groups. Regressive evaluation group was higher satisfaction than average evaluation groups in the satisfaction test. 4) There were showed significant differences among height groups(long, middle, short) in the reasonable test of average evaluation. Long height students were higher satisfaction than short height students. 5) There were showed significant differences among height groups(long, middle. short) in the satisfaction test of average evaluation. Long group students showed higher satisfaction. 6) There were showed significant differences among height groups(long, middle, short) in the reasonable and satisfaction test of regressive evaluation. Short height students showed higher satisfaction to regressive evaluation. 7) It were should significant differences among herght groups(long, middle, short) satisfaction test of regressive evaluation short height students showed higher satisfaction to regressive evaluation. 8) There were showed changeable ratio 41.5%∼50.0% between groups in the comparative analysis of two evaluations.

        실험적 혼합혈액에서 VNTR유전좌위에 대한 중합효소연쇄반응 증폭으로 혼합비에 따른 개인식별

        Genetic loci that contain a variable number of tandem repeats(VNTR) could be successfully amplified from a very small amount of genomic DNA by the polymerase chain reaction(PCR) and have been applied to individual identification in forensic field. Forensic samples are sometimes not a sample of one individual, but mixed sample, such as blood, hairs, and vaginal fluid with sperm. Even though very small amount of sample is mixed to the large one, the small fraction of the mixture is amplified by PCR. But sometimes it could not be detected in electrophoresed agarose gel with ethidium bromide staining, because the PCR products of small fraction are less amount rather than that of large fraction of mixed sample and because of the limitation of the sensitivity of ethidium bromide staining in agarose gel. We investigated to search the detectable limitation of the PCR products of mixed sample with various ration, experimentally. The sample were mixed with various ratio, amplified by polymerase chain reaction, electrophoresed, and stained with ethidium bromide. We can detect the small fraction of mixed sample from the 50% to the 5.9% or 3.0% of blood mixture and to the 0.8% of DNA mixture. In Southern blot, we can detect the small fraction in all ratio of blood mixture, to the 0.26% which is the smallest ratio of mixture in this experiment. Form the results, in samples which have a possibility of mixed sample, the southern blot analysis is necessary to increase the sensitivity of DNA fingerprint.
