It has been hypothesized that jobs that have both high psychological demands and low decision latitude("job strain") can lead to musculoskeletal disorder. The objective of this study was to test whether job strain was correlated with the presence of work-related musculoskeletal disorder, especially myofascial pain syndrome(MPS). Information on demographic factors, confounders such as household load and taking care of children or not, and scores for decision latitude, job demand, and social support was obtained by self-administered questionnaire, which had been developed in Korean language, by adopting NIOSH instrument and Extended Karasek Model(16 items). All subjects were also examined by rehabilitation medicine specialists for musculoskeletal disorders. Subjects(n=370) could be categorized into 4 groups, these were, housewives(n=89), shipyard CAD workers(n=89), general female workers(n=79; nurses, insurance counselors, public officials, clerks, etc), and telephone directory assistance operators(n=113). Results from univariate analyses indicated that all demographic factors, all confounders, scores for decision latitude and social support were not associated with the risk of musculoskeletal disorder. However, score for job demand was higher in musculoskeletal disorder cases than others. In subgroup analysis, this association was convinced again, in telephone directory assistance operators. Job strain model showed that the group of telephone directory assistance operators was high-stain group, and OR of musculo skeletal disorder was 2.446(95% C. I. : 1.174, 5.096), when comparing this with the low strain group. In conclusion, job strain is a risk factor for work-related musculoskeletal disorder.

북방 군사삼각관계

As far as the military issue of the two Koreas is concerned, the structure of the Northeast Asian international system is generally understood as being composed of two ideological block : one is the "north triangular relationship" of North Korea, China and the Soviet Union ; the other is the "south triangular relationship" of South Korea, the United States and Japan. The conflict Between the two Koreas has become a focal point in the competition between these two idelolgical blocs ; therefore, North Korea's behaviors toward South Korea have been influenced by the intra-bloc relations of its north triangular relationship. This paper has focused upon North Korea's military policies and relations toward its allies as well as South Korea. In order to find out the variables and constrains which have impact on North Korea's military policies, we have exploited tow approaches : one is analytical and the other is historical. In Chapter 2, both approaches are used to figure out the basic characteristics of North Korea's military relations in the north triangular relationship. We think that North Korea's relationship toward its allies of China and the Soviet Union has been recognized as much more "independent" on than the real situation. North Korea as a small country has more limitations than opportunities to manupulate the relationship of its major allies for its own advantages. From this viewpoint, we have sruveyed the historical military relations of North Korea toward the Soviet Union and China in Chapter 3 and 4, respectively. In Chapter 5, we have discussed the major military issues among the north triangular relationship since the summit meetings between China and the Soviet Union in May 1989. The major security issues involve economic cooperation, foreign military bases, arms control, and confidence-building measures. In the concluding Chapter, we have analyzed how much these military and security issues will have impacts upon North Korea's military policies toward South Korea and its own major allies. Because North Korea's interests seem much different from its major allies at this time, we think that North Korea has a dilemma of whether it will follow its major allies' open door policy or keep its own traditional "self-reliance," that is, closed door policy. We have concluded that North Korea's military policy toward South Korea in the future will largely depend upon how North Korea solve this dilemma.

지리정보시스템을 이용한 도시가스 배관의 수송 위험성 평가에 관한 연구

The demand of City Gas will increases continuously due to clearness and convenience for usage. It was used widely for various parts such as plants and domestic fuel. City Gas pipelines are defined as starting at a storage tank, a pump, or a facility boundary. Transportation Risk Analysis generally include all valve and pumping stations between the defined start and a similarly defined end point. The purpose of this research is to develope the geographic information system which provides information about risk assessment, accident, accident prevention plan, and efficient sharing and managing of the system.

英國의 行政救濟制度 : 大權的 救濟制度를 中心으로 Stressing on the Prerogative Remedies

Outstanding characteristics common to all the modern administrative states are the expansion of executive power and the crisis of legalism. Accordirgly in the course of being exercised the executive power which has become diversed and strengthened,administrative law in modern administrative states should solve how to adjust a conflict of interests between nation and civil, how to do judicial review of administrative action, or how to serve faithfully the remedy of civil's rights against the acts of maladministration. By the way, while traditionally administrative law of, Continental System had defended the privileged position of administration and made the justification for exercising such an administrative power, that of Anglo- American System had emerged in the process of solving the social problems generated in the coarse of development of liberalism and capitalism. Therefore, thinking of reality of contemporary administratives states orienting substantial legalism, we think that the latter will become the object of our stronger concern than the former. Moreover, because it can be said that Enlglish law is the system of various remedies as a whole, and the developnent of English administrative law depends on that of remedies, that is still more true. Accordingly, in this paper, administrative remedies of English law are studied stressing on the prerogative remedies. This paper is divided as follows ; Chap. Ⅰ) Introduction Chap. 변경관리(Management of Change) 기반구조 개발에 관한 연구

In the chemical plants, as each equipment or facility is operated with inter-relationship, the change of the process could cause significant problems in safety throughout not only that equipment or facility but also whole process in the plant. In these cases, MoC(Management of Change) has a crucial role to monitor and control the effect caused by change of the equipment or facility for improving safety and production to throughout the plant. Because the change of the process without assuring process safety could cause major industrial accident, this change seems to be very dangerous job. Although many chemical plants in US and UK introduced the MoC system based on guidelines provided by API, OSHA, HSE, EPA, CMA etc., there is still not introduced systematic MoC system in Korea because of lack of administrative support and infrastructure in chemical plants. This study analysed to national and foreign MoC code, proposed suitable code, and developed MoC Framework.

혼합치열기 반대교합자에서 Ⅲ급 악간견인력의 효과에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to observe how the Class Ⅲ intermaxillary elastics act upon the craniofacial structures of mixed dentition with anterior crossbites. The cephalometric headplates of 16 childrens treated only with Class Ⅲ elastics(C Ⅲ elastics group) and 23 childrens treated with Class Ⅲ elastics and Reverse pull headgear simultaneously(C Ⅲ elastics +RPHG group)were traced, digitized and statistically analyzed. The results were as follows. 1. Anterior displacement of maxilla was observed in both groups. 2. Simultaneous Class Ⅲ elastics and reverse pull headgear group showed the counterclockwise rotation of maxilla, however Class Ⅲ elastics group manifested no rotational change of maxilla. 3. Simultaneous Class Ⅲ elastics and reverse pull headgear group showed the downward and backward rotation of mandible, however Class Ⅲ elastics group manifested no rotational change of mandible. 4. Counterclockwise canting of occlusal plane, labial tipping of upper incisor and lingual tipping of lower incisor and mesial displacement of upper molar to pterygoid root vertical were observed in both groups.

원형질체 융합에 의한 Aspergillus nidulans의 효소생산

Aspergillus nidulans FGSC 473, 154 각각의 원형체질 형성 최적 조건을 구해서 FGSC 473(pyr^-,rib^-)과 FGSC 154(ade^-, met^-)의원형질체 융합을 통하여 얻은 hybrid 균주의 효소 활성도를 모균주의 효소활성도와 비교하였다. 각각의 실험결과는 다음과 같다. 원형질체 형성은 0.5% Novozym 234의 세포벽 분해효소를 0.6MKCl의 삼투압 안정체에 녹여 37℃에서 2시간 동안 반응시켰을 때 최적으로 나타났다. 원형질체 융합의 빈도는 0.22%~0.51%로 나타났다. 모균주와 hybrid균주간의 세포외 효소활성도를 비교해본 결과 hybrid 균주는 CMCase만이 모균주 보다 높았고 다른 효소들은 대체로 모균주보다 낮은 효소 활성도를 나타냈다. Formation of protoplasts from auxotrophes of Aspergillus nidulans FGSC 473 and 154 by Novozym 234, and their protoplast fusion between complementary mutants were investigated. From Aspergillus nidulans FGSC 473 (pyr^-, rib^-) and 154 (ade^-, met^-), hybrid strains (No. 1-13 Strain) were isolated by protoplast fusion. Enzyme activities of each of Aspergillus nidulans 473, 154 and hybrid strains (No. 1-13 strain) were investigated. The main results of the present study were as follows: Optmimal concentration and reaction time of the lytic enzyme for protoplasts were 5㎎/㎖ and 2hr respectively. As osmotic stabilizer for protoplast formation, 0.6M KCl was to be suitable. The fusion frequencies between complementary strains ranged from 0.22% to 0.51% . In Cellulaseand Xylanase system, the most of enzyme activities of hybrid strains were lower than those of parental stains, but only CMCase activities of hybrid strains were higher than those of parental strains.

네가지 방향정보를 이용한 인쇄체 영문자와 숫자의 인식에 관한 연구

In this paper, we describe the PLSE(Park's Line Segment Extraction) algorithm which recognizes printed multi-font alphanumeric characters. This algorithm is the new method which uses four-directional and length information to obtain features of the characters. By using the four-directional information of the characters, the recognition rate and the speed are increased and the separated characters("i","j") and the font types are recognized, which was impossible in the past.
