        On the Distribution of Resumptive Pronouns in Chinese Relative Clauses

        This paper is to examine the syntactic influence of the animate feature on the distribution of resumptive pronouns in Chinese relative constructions. In Chinese, overt resumptive pronouns are obligatory in the relativization of the indirect object, the object of preposition, the possessive, the object of pivotal construction and the object of comparison, but not obligatory in the relativization of the direct object and the embedded clause subject. In this paper, we newly propose the Animate Feature Hypothesis that a resumptive pronoun can appear only if it has the [+animate] feature when the subject of embedded clauses or the direct object is relativized. In a word, an overt resumptive pronoun can appear only if it has the [+animate] feature. To explain the distribution of resumptive pronouns in Chinese relative clauses, three principles are needed: Keenan & Comrie (1977)’s Accessibility Hierarchy, McClosky (1990)’s Highest Subject Restriction and our proposal of the Animate Feature Hypothesis. The Animate Feature Hypothesis is one of the important principles which decides the distribution of resumptive pronouns in Chinse relative clauses.

      • Research on Application of Hierarchical Trust Mechanism in Internet of Things

        In order to determine the conditions for the application of the dynamic authorization problem in the Internet of things, a reliable trust mechanism must be established between the institution, the reader and the tag. Thus, this paper proposes a hierarchical trust mechanism, and puts forward a verifiable caching interaction digest schema at the same time. At first, this paper analyzes the features of the application and the trust demands of different subjects in the Internet of things, the credibility of the detaching mechanism and the reader trust. Then, it proposes the improved method of evidence theory accoording to the characteristics of the readers, which can deduce the routing trust of the reader. The experimental results show that the hierarchical trust mechanism has a very good convergence of trust, and the algorithm in this paper can effectively detect the malicious terminal nodes.

        Conduction Mechanism in (La0.7Sr0.3MnO3)n(BiFeO3)n Multilayered Thin Films

        (La0.7Sr0.3MnO3)n(BiFeO3)n multilayered thin films were deposited on (0 0 1) SrTiO3 substrates by using the RF magnetron sputtering method, and their conduction mechanisms in the temperature range between 150 K and 300 K were investigated using several common dielectric conduction models. The results indicate the current-voltage characterization of the as-fabricated thin films obey Ohm’s law at 300 K, but the space-charge-limited conduction mechanism becomes dominant in the as-fabricated thin films as the temperature is decreased.

        RBP2 induces stem-like cancer cells by promoting EMT and is a prognostic marker for renal cell carcinoma

        Renal cell carcinoma (RCC), one of the most common kidney cancers, has a poor prognosis. Epithelial to mesenchymal transition (EMT) is a hallmark of carcinoma invasion and metastasis. Several studies have examined the molecular regulation of EMT, but the relationship between histone demethylases and EMT is little understood. In this study, we investigated the role of retinoblastoma-binding protein-2 (RBP2), a histone demethylase that is highly expressed in RCC and is positively correlated with poor RCC prognosis in the regulation of EMT. We found that ectopic overexpression of RBP2 can induce cancer stem cell-like (CSC) phenotypes through EMT in RCC cells by converting them to a more mesenchymal phenotype. This results in increased resistance to apoptosis, which leads to enhanced tumor growth in xenograft models. Together, our data show that RBP2 is an epigenetic regulator that has an important role in the initiation of CSC phenotypes through EMT, leading to tumor progression. RBP2 is also a novel biomolecule for RCC diagnosis, and prognosis and may be a therapeutic target.

        Fault Diagnosis for Conventional Circuit Breaker Based on One-Dimensional Convolution Neural Network

        The vibration signal generated by the operating mechanism of conventional circuit breaker contains abundant mechanical state information. Aiming at traditional fault diagnosis methods that need to realize signal feature extraction based on feature selection, a fault diagnosis model based on one-dimensional convolutional neural network is proposed. In the diagnosis model, multiple convolutional neural networks are designed according to the type and degree of faults, and the network is set as a large convolutional kernel to enlarge the receptive field region; the raw vibration signal is used as the model input for training, and the corresponding fault type and degree are output after hierarchical diagnosis. The experimental results show that the model can automatically extract the fault signal features, effectively complete the fault diagnosis of the contact system for the conventional circuit breaker, and has good generalization ability. The model in this paper has a higher comprehensive diagnosis recognition rate compared with other methods, reaching 98.84%.
