Solar urticaria in Korean patients

Background: Solar urticaria (SU) is an uncommon type of photodermatoses characterized by erythematous wheal with pruritus after sunlight exposure, which shows a female predominance. Only a few studies to analyze the clinical features of SU were reported in Asia. Objectives: We aimed to analyze the clinical and photobiological characteristics of SU in Korea. Methods: We retrospectively investigated the medical records of patients with SU who visited the department of dermatology, Konkuk university medical center from January 2005 to January 2020. Results: Of a total of 44 patients, 36 (81.8%) were male and 8 (18.2%) were female. The mean age at onset was 17.6 years (range, 5-47) and the mean threshold time was 19.7 minutes. Among 32 patients who underwent phototesting, the action spectrum most commonly implicated was ultraviolet (UV) A only in 12 (37.5%), and then visible light (415nm) only was responsible for SU in 8 (25.0%). Three patients (9.4%) were induced by both UVA and visible light (415nm). Even 4 patients (12.5%) were triggered by only natural sunlight. Serum immunoglobulin E levels were measured in 33 patients, and 17 (51.5%) showed values higher than normal. The treatment most widely used were oral antihistamine (43.2%), followed by phototherapy (13.6%). Conclusion: SU is a rare photodermatosis in Korea, which shows a male preponderance. In this study, UVA and visible light (415nm) were predominant action spectrum of SU.

Analysis of Sap Production and Composition of Acer okamotoanum from Artificial Stands in Different Tapping Time in Jin-ju Region in Korea(진주지역 인공식재 우산고로쇠의 수액 채취 시기별 출수량 및 성분 분석)

This study was conducted to analyze the sap flow and composition by tapping date in Acer akamotoanum from an artificial forest in the City of Jinju. The sap was collected from five saplings (diameter at breast height10-20 cm) in two phases with an interval of a month. During phase 1 (January 10, 2019 - February 9, 2019) with daily mean temperature of 1.16±2.15℃, 60.59 liters of sap was collected over 32 days. Phase 2 (February 12, 2019 - February 22, 2019) with daily mean temperature of 2.55±1.30℃ yielded 13.38 liters of sap over 11 days, which was a reduction to 22% of the total sap flow in phase 1. The analysis of sugar composition in the collected sap from phase 1 and 2 showed that sucrose concentration was 2.5% at its highest during the earlier days of collection and decreased to 0.8% at the end. Glucose and fructose concentrations were measured near 0, and were lower than sucrose concentration. The most prominent inorganic elements in the collected sap were potassium (41.69 - 89.75 mg/kg), calcium (24.66 - 48.14 mg/kg) and magnesium (10.18 - 27.25 mg/kg). The contents of sucrose and inorganic components between the samples collected from phase 1 and 2 did not show significant differences. The sap flow amounts of A. okamotoanum from different tapping periods showed a notable variation, but there were no significant differences in the contents of sugar or inorganic elements. 본 연구는 진주시 소재 우산고로쇠 인공림에서의 수액 채취 시기별 출수량 및 구성성분을 분석하기 위해 수행되었다. 수액채취는 한 달 간격으로 2회에 걸쳐 이루어졌으며, 각 회당 채취목은 각각 소경목(흉고직경 10~20 cm) 5본씩 이었다. 일평균 기온이 1.16 ± 2.15℃로 조사된 1차 시기(2019년 1월 10일 ~ 2월 09일)의 수액 총 출수일이 약 32일, 총 출수량은 약 60.59 L로 관찰되었다. 일평균 기온이 2.55 ± 1.30℃로 조사된 2차 시기(2019년 2월 12 ~ 22일)에는 총 출수일이 약 11일이었으며 총 출수량은 약 13.38 L로 1차 시기 기준의 약 22%에 해당하는 양으로 감소하였다. 1, 2차 채취 시기별 수액의 당 성분분석 결과 자당(Sucrose)의 함량이 출수초기 최고 2.5%를 나타냈으며 출수 종료시점에는 최소 0.8% 대로 감소하였다. 포도당(Glucose)과 과당(Fructose)은 Sucrose에 비하여 함량이 낮았으며, 0에 가까운 수치를 나타내었다. 채취 수액의 무기성분 분석결과, 주요 성분은 칼륨(41.69 ~ 89.75 mg/kg), 칼슘(24.66 ~ 48.14 mg/kg), 마그네슘(10.18 ~ 27.25 mg/kg)이었다. 1, 2차 채취 시기별 수액 간의 sucrose함량 및 무기성분의 함량 범위는 유의적인 차이를 보이지는 않았다. 결과적으로 시기를 달리한 우산고로쇠 수액 채취에 있어서 출수량은 큰 차이를 보였지만 당 및 무기성분 함량의 경우에는 유의적 차이가 나타나지는 않았다.

Equivalent Circuit Analysis of Induction Motors Considering Magnetic Saturation for Automotive Applications

This paper deals with the characteristics analysis of 3-phase induction motors for electric power steering applications by combining fnite element analysis with an equivalent circuit model. Induction motors for automobiles have high magnetic saturation due to size limitations. Accordingly, to improve the accuracy of the equivalent circuit analysis, it is necessary to consider the magnetizing reactance according to the magnetizing current. An equivalent circuit analysis method that takes into account the magnetic saturation of 3-phase induction motors is proposed and verifed through a test.

This study was designed to find out the effects of soybean protein and milk protein between nondiabetic and diabetic rats. The experimental results are summarized as follows. 1. Total food intake was higher in diabetic soybean protein group than other groups but it was not significant. 2. The change of body weight was lower in diabetic soybean protein group than other groups and the soybean protein was effective to maintain the ideal body weight. 3. The effects of lowering total cholesterol and glucose in serum was higher in soybean protein groups than the milk protein groups.

Der Film Jud Suß - Film ohne Gewissen von Oskar Roehler thematisiert die Geschichte Ferdinand Marians, der im dritten Reich die Hauptrolle des Propagandafilms Jud Suß von Veit Harlan gespielt hat. Der Film zeigt einige postmoderne asthetische Strategien, namlich eine Fiktionalisierung der historischen Fakten, oder vielschichtige Narrativstrukturen, unter anderem auf der Basis der Hommage, und Selbstreferenzialitat. Zunachst sind die Figuren dieses Films historische Menschen, doch ihre Charakterzuge und die sozialen Verhaltnisse, in denen sie agieren, werden durch Roehlers Einbildungskraft rekonstruiert und neu erschaffen, um sie als Mittel, ein Sittenbild der Nazizeit zu prasentieren, einzusetzen. Der Film beinhaltet die Spiegelstruktur, den Film im Film und das Drama im Drama. Das Publikum hat dabei die Moglichkeit, Identifizierung und Verfremdungseffekte abwechselnd zu erleben. Die postmoderne Asthetik des Films Jud Suß - Film ohne Gewissen tragt einerseits dazu bei, die Naziideologie zu karikieren und zu entlarven. Doch andererseits verhindert sie, dass man die historischen Fragen erkennt, und der Film bußt so an Historizitat ein.

Female sports have been widely open to the intire social spheres and the elite of athletics has became important as well with the tendency that female athletic events are steadily increasing. Accordingly, it is known through this thesis that number of Korean female participants in the Olympics from among elite of athletics is tending upwards and mumber of the Olympic events is in variety. It is also known that glaring discrepancy in some events as compared with world`s records tends to be better having potentially superior events, and the mumber of medals received by Korean female for the promotion of the national prestige has been improved,

SiO₂ nanodot arrays using functionalized block copolymer templates and selective silylation

<P>Silicon oxide nanodot arrays were fabricated using functionalized block copolymer templates and selective silylation. A polystyrene-<I>b</I>-poly(acrylic acid/acrylic anhydride) (PS-<I>b</I>-PAA/AN) thin film containing spherical nanodomains was used as a template to build nanoscopic silica structures. A PS-<I>b</I>-PAA/AN thin film was prepared by acid-catalyzed thermal deprotection of polystyrene-<I>b</I>-poly(<I>tert</I>-butyl acrylate) on an SU-8 resist film containing a photoacid generator. This resulting film has excellent solvent and thermal resistance due to crosslinked anhydride linkages in carboxyl-functionalized PAA/AN block domains. Silicon was introduced by spin-spraying of hexamethyldisilazane (HMDS) over the entire surface of a self-assembled PS-<I>b</I>-PAA/AN thin film. HMDS was selectively reacted with carboxylic acid groups in spherical domains of a PAA/AN block. SiO<SUB>2</SUB> nanodot arrays were generated by oxygen reactive ion etching. </P>

브랜드‘더마앤모어’를 위한 스페셜 프로모션 부스 디자인 연구 - ‘프레쉬 캐주얼 스타일링’을 활용하여 -

본 연구는 (주)애경과 S여대와 산학연계하여 진행한 브랜딩 스타일링 마케팅 기획 프로세스를 체계적으로 정리하는데 목적이 있다. 이에 본 연구는 2017년 9월~12월까지 환경디자인학과 ‘브랜딩·스타일링·마케팅’ 교과목에서 진행한 내용을 대상으로 하며 국내 샴푸브랜드 ‘더마앤모어’를 분석하여 디자인 개념을 결합하고 부스 디자인을 제시하는 과정들을 밝힌다. 이를 통해 본 연구는 향후 생활용품 브랜드의 디자인 개발에 있어서 창의적인 부스디자인의 방향성을 제시한다. 본 연구의 방법은 공간 브랜딩에 대한 이론적 고찰을 통해 브랜딩 스타일링 마케팅 프로세스의 스타일 분석, 디자인 개발, 공간 디스플레이 연출로 구성하여 그 과정을 밝힌다. 끝으로 본 연구는 대학과 산업체간의 연계를 통한 교과목 개발에 활용되는데 의의가 있다.

일반논문 : 추재 조수삼의 『경원총집(經원總集)』에 대하여

이 논문은 추재 조수삼이 1793년에 직접 정리한 그의 초기 저작 『경원총집(經원總集)』에 대한 검토이다. 먼저 『경원총집』의 체재와 발간 경위, 그리고 그것이 『추재집(秋齋集)』과 맺고 있는 관계를 살펴보았다. 이를 바탕으로 『경원총집』에 실려 있는 작품세계를 고찰하고 그것이 지닌 자료적 가치 등을 모색하였다. 『경원총집』은 2권으로 이뤄져 있는데 권1에는 『죽서수창(竹西酬唱)』·『다산집유(茶山輯遺)』, 권2에는 『연행기정(燕行紀程)』·『청야만영(靑野漫詠)』이 실려 있다. 먼저 『죽서수창』과 『다산집유』에서는 세속에서 벗어나 자연 속에서의 삶을 영위하고자 하는 은거의식과 함께 신분의 벽을 절감하며 끊임없이 내면의 자아와 세계의 갈등 양상을 엿볼 수 있다. 권2의 『연행기정』편에는 1789년 1차 연행 당시의 견문을 고스란히 담아냈을 뿐만 아니라 그 과정을 순차적으로 기록하고 있어 연행노정을 쉽게 알게 하였다. 이러한 첫 연행은 그의 세계관을 변모시키는 계기가 되었다. 『청야만영』에서는 다양한 교유관계가 드러나는데, 무엇보다도 젊은 시절 실학자 이덕무와의 교유는 추재에게 있어서 현실 사회에 대한 관심을 불러일으키는데 보다 결정적인 역할을 하게 된다. 추재의 문학 연구가 주로 후반기 작품들에 집중되어 있어 전반기 작품들에 대해서는 논의된 바가 거의 없었다. 이러한 점에서 초기 저작 『경원총집』은 추재 문학의 연구 자료로써 상당한 가치를 지닌다. 또한 『경원총집』은 추재가 자신의 저작을 연대순으로 구성한 것이어서 『추재집』의 연대기순 편찬론의 재고는 물론이고 추재 문학 전반에 대한 재검토를 필요로 하게 한다. This study examines 『Gyeongwonchongjip』, one of the early writings by Chujae Jo Su-sam, a middle class literary man in the 18th-19th centuries. This work was authored by Jo himself in 1793. First, I investigated the structure of 『Gyeongwonchongjip』, the procedure of its publication, and its relation with 『Chujaejip』. Based on these, I examine the literary world of the works in 『Gyeongwonchongjip』, and explore their literary values. 『Gyeongwonchongjip』 consists of two volumes <volume 1> contains 『Jukseosuchang』, and 『Dasanjipyu』, and <volume 2> 『Yeonhaenggijeong』, and 『Cheongyamanyeong』. As the date of the writing of 『Yeonhaenggijeong』, which contains the report of the first travel to Khanvalikh in 1789, is clear, it is necessary to reconsider the claim that 『Chujaejip』, which was published in 1939, is edited chronologically. With the 19th century as the middle point, Chujae`s poems in the first half take life in nature as their subject matters, and those in the second half realistic life in the. We can observe a clue to such a change in Chujae`s poems from 『Gyeongwonchongjip』. First, along with the hermitage consciousness that pursues a life in nature beyond the mundane world, we can see aspects of the poet`s incessant conflicts with the inner ego out of his keenly feeling the great wall of social classes from 『Jukseosuchang』, and 『Dasanjipyu』. On the other hand, in <Goryeogungsa> in 『Dasanjipyu』 he expresses his interest in historical conventions. In addition to this, the first travel to Khanvalikh in 1789 would have greatly changed his mind. 『Cheongyamanyeong』 reveals his various friendly relations with others; especially, his association with Lee Deok-mu, a Silhak scholar, is the most prominent. In Chujae`s younger days, his association with Lee would have played a decisive role in making him interested in real society.
