        Conceptual Study for Tissue-Regenerative Biodegradable Magnesium Implant Integrated with Nitric Oxide-Releasing Nanofi bers

        The excessive initial corrosion rate of Mg is a critical limitation in the clinical application of biodegradable Mg implantsbecause the device loses its fi xation strength before the fractured bone heals. This study suggests a new approach to overcomethis hurdle by accelerating tissue regeneration instead of delaying the implant biodegradation. As angiogenesis is anessential process in early bone regeneration, a Mg implant coated with electrospun nanofi bers containing nitric oxide (NO),which physiologically promotes angiogenesis, is designed. The integrated device enables adjustable amounts of NO to bestored on the NO donor-conjugated nanofi ber coating, stably delivered, and released to the fractured bone tissue near theimplanted sites. An in vitro corrosion test reveals no adverse eff ect of the released NO on the corrosion behavior of the Mgimplant. Simultaneously, the optimal concentration level of NO released from the implant signifi cantly enhances tube networkformation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells without any cytotoxicity problem. This indicates that angiogenesis canbe accelerated by combining NO-releasing nanofi bers with a Mg implant. With its proven feasibility, the proposed approachcould be a novel solution for the initial stability problem of biodegradable Mg implants, leading to successful bone fi xation.

        홍민어 Sciaenops ocellatus에서의 바이러스성 신경괴사증 viral nervous necrosis

        1999년 10월에서 11월 사이에 남해안 일대의 홍민어 종묘 생산장에서 20~30열령의 치어가 척추만곡 및 이상유영을 하며 대량 폐사하였다. 병어는 특이 외부 증상이 없었고, 높은 누적폐사량이 바이러스 질병으로 의심되어, 조직학적 및 분자생물학적인 검사를 행하여 폐사원인을 확인하였다. 폐사개체의 조직을 H-E 염색하여 관찰한 결과 뇌와 안구의 신경세포에서 공포와 괴사가 관찰되었고, 전자현미경 관찰에서는 안구와 뇌에서 바이러스 입자가 관찰되었다. RT-PCR 결과에서는 ≒426 bp의 DNA 단편을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과로 홍민어에서 발생한 대량폐사는 바이러스성 신경괴사증(VNN)으로 진단되었다. Mass mortalities occurred among red drum lavae, 20 to 30 days old, culturing at hatcheries on southern costal area. No specific external signs were observed except abnormal swimming and spinal deformity. It was, however, suspected as a viral etiology due to high mass mortalities so that histopathological and molecular biological study was performed to evaluate the agent. Both vacuoles and necrosis were observed on nerve cells of brain and eye by H-E staining, and viral particles were observed on electronmicroscopic examination. On the other hand, DNA fragment, approximately 426 bps, was amplified with RT-PCR. The above results were able to diagnosis the etiological agent of mass moralities in red drum larvae as VNN(viral nervous necrosis)virus.

        The base induced ring opening of β -1actam derivatives with LDA gave γ-lactam derivatives stereoselectively. The γ -1actam derivatives were formed stereoselectively depending on β-3 substituent of B-lactam derivatives.

        We should maintain firmly our stance in order to cope with any prejudice or any belief in terms of the process of dance socialization. At a time, in the field of sports sociology, it has majorly been projected in the sphere of learning of social science for a needed methodology for the subject sol- ution and not been established a characteristic knowledge and methodological sys- tem by accepting with almost non-criticism, therefore, the process of dance socialization should be emphasized on this, and making firmness a position of one of the part as a individual sphere of learning among the sports sociology, and then it, in its own way, should be needed to develops with deepest concerns to which we study a various variable factors with proper methodology on what shall we do a objective of study and of interesting relations on the process of dance socializtion of dancer together with a broaden understanding over the pre-existing sports sociology in order to build a creative and systematic knowledge system. The people who are living in mordern society can't overlook the society, there-fore we should enhance many things such as social nature, cooperation, esthetic sense, imaginative power and emotion by means of direct participation(a work of performance and a class) and indirect participation(viewing of artistic work, the affiliation of an aid association) which can be achieved through dance. It is very essential for goverment to devise and develop nationwide dancing program. When· it comes to our proposal for the future researcher, we should come up with well-planned research blueprint.

        In this paper, we demonstrate a tunable wavelength erbium-doped fiber ring laser. It's tuning interval can be controlled as fine as hundreds of picosecond by using a tunable filter of Fiber Reflection Mach-Zehnder Interferometer with gain-transparent SOA within one arm. And a wavelength tuning range over 17㎚ can be achieved by adjusting the power of 1310㎚ pump light into SOA. Narrow linewidth less than 0.08㎚ and SMSR of more than 30dB is obtained with single-mode operation.

      • DES (Data Encryption Standard) 전용 Crypto-Processor의 구현

        This Paper describes the hardware implementation of DES(Data Encryption Standard). The DES has been a worldwide standard for over 15 years. For DES, data are encrypted in 64-bit blocks using a 56-bit key. The DES algorithm transforms 64-bit input in a series of steps into a 64-bit output. It is impossible to deduce the plaintext from the only the ciphertext without the key We construct the DES system with crypto-processor concept with VHDL, and the processor has been fabricated by HYUNDAIs 0.8μm Sea-of-Gate process in the 1996 MPC project via IDEC(IC Design Education Center). DES can be used for military purpose, the secure communication, and especially Smart IC card applications in which the private information is stored.

        The ring expansion chemistry is one of the most important methods to prepare five-and six-membered heterocylic compounds. We have studied about γ-lactam ring expansion with stereoselectivity from β-lactam derivative. To do this chemistry, proton of N-benzyl group in β-lactam derivatives is eliminated by LDA and make carbanion.This anion make unstable 4-membered lactam intermediate, and then the ring is opened by homo clevage or hetero cleavage for releasing ring strain, followed by recyclization to one carbon to make γ-lactam ring with stereoselectivity in β-, γ- positions.

        Many modules such as controller, sensor, telematics terminal, navigation, audio and video are connected each o[her via vehicle network (CAN, MOST, etc). Futhermore, users can have ITS or internet services in moving by connecting to wireless mobile network. These network capabilities can cause a lots of security issues such as data hacking, privacy violation, location tracking and so on. Some possibilities which raise a breakdown or accident by hacking vehicle operation data (sensor, control data) are on the increase. In this paper, we propose a security module which has encryption functionalities and can be used for vehicle network system such as CAN, MOST, etc. This security module can provide conventional encryption algorithms and digital signature processing functionality such as DES, 3-DES, SEED, ECC, and RSA.

      • 비탈면 복원용 주요 초화류의 피복률 및 피복속도

        Research was initiated to investigate coverage rate and speed of 19 herbaceous plants for the slope rehabilitation during 22 weeks from  June 1, 2017 to November 1, 2017. The coverage experiment was done by seeding mixed with sand in the 11cm upper diameter vinyl pot, filling with soil media and Masato for drainage. We could divide coverage rate among 19 herbaceous plant entries as 6 groups (Ⅰ;very  high Ⅱ; high, Ⅲ;medium high, Ⅳ;medium low, Ⅴ;low, Ⅵ;very low) based on the  final germination rate and divide coverage speed as 5 groups(A;very fast, B;fast, C;normal,  D;slow,  E; very slow) based on days to the 30% coverage. Considering coverage rate of 19 plant entries, Coreopsis tinctoria Nutt., Chrysanthemum burbankii, Centaurea cyanus, Dianthus sinensis and Silene armeria were regard as high coverage rate of dominating species while Lolium perenne, Lotus corniculatus var. japonicus, Lespedeza cuneata, Poa pratensis, Festuca arundinacea, Medicago sativa and Coreopsis lanceolata as competitive species following dominating species. As far as coverage speed concerned, Coreopsis tinctoria, Centaurea cyanus, Silene armeria, Medicago sativa, Chrysanthemum burbankii and Dianthus sinensis were very fast when compared with low speed plants of Miscanthus sinensis var. purpurascens, Arundinella hirta, Artemisia princeps var. orientalis, Cosmos sulphureus and Chrysanthemum boreale.
