      • 쌀 調理過程 中 麥飯石의 Cd除去 能力에 關한 硏究

        It was investigated Cadmium eliminating capacty of Quartz Porphyry(Q.P.) during washing, swelling, and cooking process in rice contaminated artificially. 1. After washing the rice four times with water, the eliminating rate of Cadmium from artificially contaminated sample were 16% in control group, 28% and 42% in 25g/kg and 50g/kg Q.P. treated group, respectively. 2. Swelling of rice in water about 20 minutes didn't change the Cadmium level in Q.P. treated group. 3. Cadmium eliminating efficiency by cooking was significantly increased in Q.P. treated group (43~54%) compared to control group(31%). 4. These results suggest that treatment of rice with Q.P. is very effective to remove the Cadmium contamination in rice.

      • Cetyl Alchol을 利用한 坐制基劑에 關한 硏究

        Some basic propeties of suppository bases containing cetyl alcohol(C), lanoline(L), and propylene glycol(P) were investigated in this study. The results were as follows. 1. Suppository could be molded easily in the higher amount of cetyl alcohol than that of lanoline or propylene glycol. 2. Suppository was molded by 28 kinds of different C:L:P ration could be soften in rectum temperature and the proper ratios of C:L:P to release sodium salicylate from suppository were 5:3:1, 3:1:2, 4:3:1, 5:3:2. 3. The softening times of suppository with these ratios of C:L:P were 9 min to 20 min. 4. Softening temperature and time were not changed after storage for 1, 11, 38, 54 days at 20℃ or 4℃ 5. The most appropriate ratio of this base was 5:3:1 in sodium salicylate suppository.

      • LMS Pisarenko Harmonic Decomposition에 의한 배경뇌파 파워 스펙트럼 추정

        In this paper, the power spectrum of background EEG is estimated by the Pisarenko Harmonic decomposition based on Least Mean Square. At the power spectral estimation, the stochastic process of background EEg is assumed to consist of the nonharmonic sinusoil and the white noise. The optimal order of this model is the 6-th order when the eigenvalue' fluctuation of autocorrlation of background EEG is considered. The estimation results are compared with the results from the Maximum Entropy Spectral Estimation and the Pisarenko Hamonic Decomposition. From the comparison results, this method is possible to estimate the power spectrum of background EEG.

        This paper presents the general form of transfer matrix of the digital Walsh sequency filter using the Walsh transform and the diagonal matrix. The useful model is built according with the general form of transfer matrix. And the characteristic of the filter is considered through the simulation. The filtering characteristic which is obtained from the simulation is satisfactory. It is possible that the filter is realized by means of the software or the hardware.

        단일전극을 가진 마이크로 가스센서의 제작 및 특성

        센서의 안정도와 감도를 개선시킬 수 있는 단일전극을 가진 열선형 마이크로 가스센서를 제작하였다. 일반적으로, 금속산화물 반도체를 이용한 가스센서는 히터전극과 감지전극의 두 개의 전극을 가지고 있다. 제작된 센서는 히터전극위에 감지물질을 형성하여 단일 전극을 가지는 구조를 가지고 있다. 히터와 감지전극으로 사용되는 Pt는 glass 기판위에 스퍼터링법으로 형성하였으며, SnO_2 감지물질은 제작된 Pt 전극위에 열증착시켜 형성하였다. SnO_2막은 lift-off 공정을 이용해서 패턴을 형성하고 1시간 동안 산소분위기에서 열산화하였다. 제작된 소자의 크기는 1.92x.1 mm^2 이다. CO 가스에 대한 감지특성을 조사한 결과 1,000 ppm에 대해 100 mV의 출력변화를 나타내었으며, 넓은 농도범위(0 ~ 10,000 ppm에서 선형적인 전압출력을 나타내었다. 또한 가스 반응 전과 반응 후의 전압출력을 비교해 볼 때, 1 % 이내의 편차를 나타내는 우수한 회복성을 나타내었다. Micro gas sensor with single electrode was proposed for improving stability and sensitivity, Generally, metal oxide gas sensors have two electrodes for heating and sensing. This fabricated new type sensor have only a single electrode by forming a sensing material onto heating electrode. Pt as a heating and sensing electrode was sputtered on glass and a SnO_2 sensing material was thermally evaporated on Pt electrode. SnO_2 was patterned by lift-off process and then thermally oxidized in O_2 condition for 1 hr., 600 ℃. The size fabricated sensor was 1.9 x 2.1 mm^2. As a result of CO gas sensing characteristics, this sensor showed 100 mV change for 1,000 ppm and linearlity for wide range(0 ~ 10,000 ppm) of gas concentrations. And the sensor shows a good recovery characteristics of 1 % deviation compared to initial resistance.

      • 한국 신노사관계의 비판적 고찰

        The purpose of this paper is to study how much industrial relations can be co-operative in Korea. For the analysis, industrial relations are separated by the political and factory organizations. In the political organizations, Korea does not have the political party for the labor's interests. The conference among labor, management and government is the only one structure for co-operative industrial relations. In the conference, labors have the right for decision making participation in labor problems, but the decision of the conference has not the legal effect. In the factory organizations, labors do not participate in management but partly in the decision making of workshop. In the case of workshop, the level of labor's participation in decision making is very low. The function of the joint labor-management conference is strengthened for co-operative industrial relations, but the labor participation is in a low level with a few exceptions.

      • Larson-Miller 법을 이용한 보일러튜브의 크립 잔존수명에 관한 연구

        The boiler components are operated at high temperature, and their materials are subject to the time dependent creep deformation. The materials eventually reach the fracture stage due to the creep damage, and thus the designer should pay attention to the creep damage, and thus the designer should pay attention to the creep lifetime to prevent the catastrophic fracture of those components. In this study, test specimens were prepared from the primary superheater in Yousu power plant which have been used for 11 years, and the creep tests were performed to measure the remaining lifetime. To predict the remaining lifetime of used materials, an equation was proposed by using the Larson-Miller parameter which can estimate the lifetime of unused materials. The primary superheater was turned out to be risky, and the remaining lifetime was predicted to be about 2 years. The fractography captured by the scanning electron microscope showed that the fracture was transgranular with dimples for all the specimens.

        This paper is purposed on studying whether the organizational change by flexible production brings about the industrial democracy. But the result of this study is against this prospect. In the factories of U. S. A. the hierarchy in factory organization is replaced with co-worker's supervision, supervisory equipment, and normative regulation for the team on the hob. The introduction of high technology does not necessarily mean the upgrade in labor skill, with many problems such as labor strength, laborer' stress and health, and job safety. In U. S. A., the high technology brings about the decline of lab or union and the low level of laborers' life quality on the whole. In conclusion, this study suggests that the organization change by high technology is not associated with industrial democracy but a rerationalization by social change for higher return.

      • 제주도산 양모의 품질에 관한 연구

        In this study, it was tried to obtain the data about wool quality continued to the prior publication, some physical and chemical properties of wool from Jae Ju-Do in Korea where there have been bred about 1300 sheep of Romneymarsh and Corriedale were examined. The results, tested and analyzed, are as the followings. The scouring yield of wool from Jae Ju-Do is about 75%, which is higher than that of Australian wool and UnBong Wool. The quality number is 48's for Romneymarsh and 56's for Corriedale. The thickness is comparatively even. The content of cystine and cysteine is 524-532 μ mole/g which is approximately equal to that of Australian Merino wool and greatly higher than that of UnBong Wool. The above results suggest that Jae Ju-Do can be developed as a wool producing district in Korea.

        Paraquat 중독환자의 초기검사로서 sodium dithionite를 이용한 소변내 paraquat검출의 임상적 의의

        Background : Mortality from paraquat intoxication depends upon plasma paraquat concentration. To know the severity of paraquat intoxication is important for directing therapeutic modality and predicting prognosis. Sodium dithionite test for urinary paraquat provides an easy and simple method to determine the severity of paraquat intoxication in emergency department. purpose : To determine whether the result urinary paraquat test by sodium dithionite can predict outcome in patients with paraquat intoxication in emergency department. Subjects : 48 patients(male 31, female 17, mean age 37 years) who had exposure to paraquat and presented within 24 hours after exposure. Result : Thirty five patients were positive in paraquat urine test and thirteen patients were negative. Clinical manifestations were more severe in positive patients than in negatives. Complication was much more in positives than in negatives. 28 of 35 patients(80%) in positives and 2 of 13 patients(15%) in negatives died. Conclusion : Positive test for urinary paraquat is associated with high mortality and morbidity from paraquat intoxication, and qualitative test for urinary paraquat by sodium dithionite is an useful method to determine the severity of paraquat intoxication in emergency department.
