        Study on NO enhanced absorption using FeIIEDTA in (NH4)2SO3 solution

        In order to improve the performance of NO reductive removal using (NH4)2SO3 solution, a mixed solution of FeIIEDTA and (NH4)2SO3 was chosen as absorbing liquid for strengthening NO absorption in the bubbling reaction tower. The mechanism of NO removal using the mixture solution was analyzed, and the species transformation of FeIIEDTA was explored. The effects of pH, reaction temperature, FeIIEDTA concentration, concentrations of NO and SO2 on NO removal efficiency were investigated. The NO removal efficiency can exceed 80% under the optimum experimental conditions.

        Experimental study on FeIICit enhanced absorption of NO in (NH4)2SO3 solution

        FeIICit and (NH4)2SO3 mixed solution was selected as denitrification absorbent, and enhanced absorptionof NO was studied in a bubbling reaction column. The results show that, the highest NO removalefficiency achieved under the molar ratio of FeII to Cit was 1:2, NO removal efficiency decreased slightlywith the increase of pH in the range of experimental pH, the NO removal efficiency reduced with theincrease of temperature. NO removal efficiency increased slightly with the increasing concentrations ofimport NO, but decreased with the increasing gas flow rate. Validated experiment was carried out underthe optimum conditions in the double columns, the NO removal efficiency reached up to 71.66% within1 min and 48.14% within 6 min.

        Design and Performance Study of Hybrid Channel-valved Magnetorheological Dampers

        In order to solve the problem of low damping force caused by low utilization of magnetic field in traditional magnetorheological dampers, a hybrid channel valve type magnetorheological damper with circular channel and disk channel are proposed. The main content of this paper is to design the basic structure of mixed channel valve magnetorheological damper. The mathematical model of damping force based on Bingham plastic model was established from the design of magnetic circuits. The two-dimensional simulation model of MR Damper was established by using EMAG module in ANSYS finite element analysis software, and the magnetic circuit of mixed channel valve MR Damper was simulated and analyzed. The results show that the output damping force of the hybrid channel valve-type magnetorheological damper is 18 KN and the adjustable coefficient is 14.52 with the current I of 3A, the number of coil turns of 560, the axial damping gap of 1 mm and the radial damping gap of 1.5 mm.

        Amygdalin Reverses Macrophage PANoptosis Induced by Drug-Resistant Escherichia coli

        Infectious diseases caused by drug-resistant Escherichia coli (E. coli) pose a critical concern for medical institutions as they can lead to high morbidity and mortality rates. In this study, amygdalin exhibited anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities, as well as other potentials. However, whether it could influence the drug-resistant E. coli-infected cells remained unanswered. Amygdalin was therefore tested in a cellular model in which human macrophages were exposed to resistant E. coli. Apoptosis was measured by flow cytometry and the lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) assay. Western immunoblotting and quantitative reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) were used to quantify interleukin-18 (IL-18), interleukin-1β (IL-1β), and interleukin-6 (IL-6). The production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in macrophages was detected by ROS kit. The expression of panapoptotic proteins in macrophages was measured by qRT-PCR and Western immunoblotting. Drug-Resistant E. coli inhibited cell viability and enhanced apoptosis in the cellular model. In cells treated with amygdalin, this compound can inhibit cell apoptosis and reduce the expression of pro - inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β, IL-18 and IL-6. Additionally, it decreases the production of PANoptosis proteins, Furthermore, amygdalin lowered the levels of reactive oxygen species induced by drug-resistant E. coli, in cells, demonstrating its antioxidant effects. Amygdalin, a drug with a protective role, alleviated cell damage caused by drug-resistant E. coli in human macrophages by inhibiting the PANoptosis signaling pathway.

        Application of HTB-SiHa Cells Transfected with a Recombinant Plasmid for External Quality Assessment of Chlamydia trachomatis PCR

        Background: The participation of laboratories in external quality assessment (EQA) pro- grams is required for the quality assurance of nucleic acid amplification of Chlamydia tra- chomatis . This study aimed to construct a new quality control (QC) material applicated in EQA of C. trachomatis PCR. Methods: A QC material-HTB-SiHa cells transfected with a recombinant plasmid contain- ing the cryptic plasmid sequence-was constructed for C. trachomatis PCR detection, and four different panels, each consisting of 4 positive samples with serial dilution of the con- structed QC material and 1 negative sample, were distributed by the National Center for Clinical Laboratories among four groups of 275, 268, 317, and 304 participants across China from 2011 through 2012. A total of eight commercial kits were used for C. tracho- matis PCR detection in participants. Results: Nine laboratories reported false-positive results (0.9%). As the series dilution in- creased, the correct reporting of the data sets decreased; the lowest correct rate was 96.3% in the weakest positive samples (10 4 copies/mL). Eight laboratories reported false- positive results, and 42 laboratories reported false-negative results in the EQA detection of C. trachomatis . No significant differences were observed in the detection of the con- structed C. trachomatis positive samples (97.9%, 98.5%, 100%, 98.5%; P =0.36) and negative samples (100%, 99.0%, 100%, 99.0%; P =0.764) using four commercial kits commonly used in China. Conclusions: The results of the EQA study indicated that the constructed material pro- vides a noninfectious, stable control material with sufficient volume for PCR detection of C. trachomatis.

        Design and Numerical Study of Hybrid Magnetic Source Disc-type Magnetorheological Valve

        Magnetorheological valves are important components in hydraulic systems that provide precise position control. At present, the low-pressure drop performance of magnetorheological valves is the main problem limiting their application. To improve the pressure drop performance of magnetorheological valves, a hybrid magnetic source disc magnetorheological valve is proposed. The magnetic pressure drop model and viscous pressure drop model of the hybrid magnet source disc type magnetorheological valve based on the Bingham model are Derived. Magnetic field distributions in the damping channel of the hybrid magnet source disc type magnetorheological valve are obtained by using ANSYS finite element analysis software. The mathematical model of the relationship between pressure drop and magnetic induction intensity was established using Matlab software, and the effects of parameters such as effective current, axial damping gap, radial damping gap, and coil width on the pressure drop performance of disc-type magnetorheological valves with hybrid magnetic sources were numerically analyzed. The results show that the pressure drop of the disc magnetorheological valve with a hybrid magnetic source can reach 10.9935 MPa at the current I=3A, axial damping gap ga=1 mm, and radial damping gap gr=1.5 mm. Compared with the conventional disc magnetorheological valve, the pressure drop performance of the hybrid magnetic source disc magnetorheological valve is improved by 28 %, which provides ideas on how to improve the pressure drop performance of the magnetorheological valve.
