      • Cube Theory and k-error Linear Complexity Profile

Jianqin Zhou,Wanquan Liu,Xifeng Wang 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.10 No.7

The linear complexity and k-error linear complexity of a sequence have been used as important measures for keystream strength. In order to study k-error linear complexity of binary sequences with period 2n, a new tool called cube theory is developed. In this paper, we first give a general decomposition approach to decompose a binary sequence with period 2n into some disjoint cubes. Second, a counting formula for m-cubes with the same linear complexity is derived, which is equivalent to the counting formula for k-error vectors. The counting formula of 2n-periodic binary sequences which can be decomposed into more than one cube is also investigated, which extends an important result by Etzion et al.. Finally, we study 2n-periodic binary sequences with the given k-error linear complexity profile. Consequently, the complete counting formula of 2n-periodic binary sequences with given k-error linear complexity profile of descent points 2, 4 and 6 is derived. The periodic sequences having the prescribed k-error linear complexity profile with descent points 1, 3, 5 and 7 are also briefly discussed.

Effect of the swirl intensity on the non-reacting flowfields and fuel-air premixing characteristics for lean premixed combustors

Fujun Sun,Jianqin Suo,Zhenxia Liu 대한기계학회 2022 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.36 No.1

According to the tendency of incorporating fuel jet holes into swirler-vanes, as well as the advantages of wide operating boundary conditions and low NO x emissions of low swirl injectors for land-based gas turbines, an original lean premixed injector with convergent outlet was proposed in this paper. Based on the lean premixed injector, this paper presented laser diagnostic experiments and numerical simulations of flowfields and fuel/air premixing uniformities of S30 and S40. The results show that the axial size and the radial size of main recirculation zone (MRZ) of S30 are both smaller than those of S40, which can decrease residence time and is beneficial to NO x reduction for S30. Furthermore, the MRZ of S30 are far from the convergent outlet, which can produce detached flames and reduce the risk of flashback. The SMV at S40 and S30 convergent outlet are 0.0008 and 0.0002, respectively, both of which are lower than 0.001, which shows that both S30 and S40 obtain good fuel/air premixing uniformities. These results demonstrate that S30 (low swirl injectors) constitutes a promising technology for low emission gas turbine combustors.

      • Twin Minimax Probability Machine for Handwritten Digit Recognition

Zhijie Xu,Jianqin Zhang,Hengyou Wang 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Hybrid Information Techno Vol.8 No.2

Handwritten digit recognition is a task of great importance in many applications. There are different challenges faced while attempting to solve this problem. It has drawn much attention from the field of machine learning and pattern recognition. Minimax probability machine (MPM) is a novel method in machine learning and data mining. In this paper, we present an extension algorithm for MPM, which is named twin minimax probability machine (TWMPM). TWMPM generates two hyperplanes to improve the classification accuracy. Experiment results on several data sets from the UCI repository demonstrate that TWMPM can improve performance of MPM in most cases. The proposed method is used for recognizing the handwritten digits provided in the MNIST data set of images of handwritten digits (0-9). The testing accuracies are improved comparing with MPM.

Chinese Medicine Granule Affects the Absorption and Transport of Glucose in Porcine Small Intestinal Brush Border Membrane Vesicles under Heat Stress

Song, Xiaozhen,Xu, Jianqin,Wang, Tian,Liu, Fenghua Asian Australasian Association of Animal Productio 2009 Animal Bioscience Vol.22 No.2

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of Chinese medicine granule (CMG, including Cortex Phellodendron, Atractylodes Rhizome, Agastache Rugosa and Gypsum Fibrosum) on absorption and transport of glucose in porcine small intestinal brush border membrane vesicles (BBMVs) under heat stress. Forty-eight 2-month-old Chinese experimental barrows were screened according to weight and litter origin, and then allotted to three groups and treated as follows: Normal temperature control group (NTCG; $23^{\circ}C$), high temperature control group (HTCG; $26^{\circ}C$ for 19 h, $40^{\circ}C$ for 5 h); Chinese medicine granule anti-stress group (CMGG; $26^{\circ}C$ for 19 h, $40^{\circ}C$ for 5 h) (n = 16 per group). The results showed that high temperature treatment decreased (p<0.05) the growth performance and intestinal glucose absorption but there was no change (p>0.05) in the expression of SGLT1 and GLUT2 genes in the small intestine of pigs compared with the NTCG. Dietary supplementation with CMG improved the growth performance, and increased the activity of disaccharidases in duodenum and jejunum of heat stressed pigs (p<0.05). CMG treatment increased (p<0.05) the protein levels of SGLT1 and GLUT2 in the small intestine, and up-regulated (p<0.05) the expression of SGLT1 and GLUT2 genes in the duodenum and jejunum but without changing (p>0.05) them in the ileum compared with the HTCG. These results indicated that CMG treatment significantly improved porcine growth performance, and increased intestinal glucose absorption and transport by BBMVs under heat stress, in addition to up-regulating the expression of SGLT1 and GLUT2 genes in porcine duodenum and jejunum.

Nonlinear Increase of Spatial Noise for Ultrashort Pulses with Different Temporal Widths

        Lifu Zhang,Xiquan Fu,Jianqin Deng,Hua Yang,Youwen Wang,Shuangchun Wen,Huiwen Xu,Jinggui Zhang,Jin Zhang,Dianyuan Fan 한국물리학회 2009 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.55 No.2

In this paper, the dynamic evolution of the spatial noise modulation of ultrashort laser pulses in carbon disulfide (CS2) is investigated experimentally, and different temporal widths of the stretched pulse are analyzed for spatial noise gain. The spatial noise evolution (i.e., small-scale self-focusing) of ultrashort laser pulses with different temporal widths as a function of the length of the CS2 has been observed. If the spectral bandwidth is invariant, the experimental results show that a stretched pulse with a broader temporal width can postpone the small-scale self-focusing of spatial noise for longer medium length with constant input power or for greater input power with the same medium length. Influence Analysis of Power Grid Harmonics on Synchronous Hydro Generators

        Hongbo Qiu,Xiaobin Fan,Jianqin Feng,Cunxiang Yang 전력전자학회 2018 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.18 No.5

The content of harmonic current increases with an increase in the number of power electronic devices in power grid. When a generator is directly connected to the power grid through a step-up transformer, the influence of the harmonic currents on the generator is inevitable. To study the influences of harmonics on generators, a 24-MW bulb tubular turbine generator is taken as an example in this paper. A 2-D transient electromagnetic field model is established. Through a comparative analysis of the data of experiments and simulations, the correctness of the model is verified. The values of the air gap magnetic density, torque and losses of the generator under various conditions are calculated using the finite element method. Taking the rated condition as a reference, the influence of the harmonic currents on the magnetic flux density is analyzed. It is confirmed that the time harmonic is a key factor affecting the generator performance. At the same time, the effects of harmonic currents on the torque ripple, average torque and eddy current loss of the generator are studied, and the mechanism of the variation of the eddy current loss is also discussed.

Deep sequencing of microRNAs from hickory reveals an extensive degradation and 30 end modification

        Zhengjia Wang,Bingsong Zheng,Jianqin Huang,Youjun Huang 한국식물생명공학회 2014 Plant biotechnology reports Vol.8 No.2

The degradation and 30 end modification of plantmicroRNAs (miRNAs) may play crucial roles in regulatingmiRNA function and stability. However, the mechanism asto how the degradation and the modification are processedare still poorly characterized. Here, we report a survey ofmiRNA degradation and 30 modification from two hickoryfloral differentiation stages through deep sequencing. Weconstructed two small RNA (sRNA) libraries from twohickory floral differentiation stages and obtained a largenumber of truncated miRNAs and miRNAs with 30 endmodifications. The presence of so many truncated miRNAssuggests a mechanism degrading through both ends simultaneously. Further analysis reveals that the truncation fromthe 30 end has higher probability than from the 50 end. Singleordouble-nucleotide additions to the 30 end have beenobserved in many families. We found that the addition ofadenine base to the 30 end is the most common event, accounting for more than 50 % of all miRNA 30 end modificationin the two sRNA libraries. Uridine addition is thesecond popular modification. These observations suggestthat the 30 end modification of miRNAs preferentially selectsadenine and uridine in the hickory plant. Furthermore, weobserved that expression of either truncated miRNA orisomiR associates with mature miRNAs. Altogether, ourstudy provides more information regarding the degradationand 30 end modification of miRNAs in plants.

Experimental and numerical investigation of non-reaction flow characteristics in a concentric staged dual-swirl combustor

        Le Li,Pengfei Zhu,Qiandong Li,Jianqin Suo,Longxi Zheng 대한기계학회 2022 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.36 No.4

In order to deeply understand the complex swirling flow characteristics of the typical staged and zoned combustor, particle image velocimetry measurement and large eddy simulation were used to study the steady and instantaneous flow field. The results show that an obviously central recirculation zone (CTRZ) cannot be formed by the single pilot stage swirler. When a main stage swirler with strong swirling flow is added, a large CTRZ appears in the concentric staged dual-swirl combustor. The CTRZ size in the co-rotating combustor is obviously larger than that in the counter-rotating combustor. The development process of the CTRZ is divided into three stages: P, P-M and M. The stages P and M are mainly dominated by the pilot stage and main stage swirling air, respectively. In addition, it can be seen from the instantaneous flow field that there is a single spiral precessing vortex core in the co-rotating and counter-rotating combustor.
