A novel mechanism model is proposed for the difference between the lake water areas derived from the remote sensing images at high spatial resolution and low spatial resolution. The areas estimated by images at different spatial resolution are calculated theoretically for the elliptical (including circular), triangular and hexagonal areal ground features. Based on the ideal cases, the quantitative rule between the two kinds of area is summarized. According to the theoretical results, the mechanism model is established for the error of the lake surface area. Especially, the surface area of Ebinur Lake derived with SPOT/VEGETATION (VGT), Landsat EM/ETM+ and MODIS are employed to validate the effectiveness and applicability of this model. With the help of the linear regression method, this model can be used to estimate the error between the Ebinur Lake surface areas derived from satellite images at different spatial resolutions, and promote the lake surface area from low spatial resolution imagery. Consequently, this model is helpful for estimating the lake surface area more accurately in a large region, and its effectiveness can be improved with more historical data.

Background: Two randomized phase III trials (EORTC55971 and CHORUS) showed similarprogression-free and overall survival in primary or interval debulking surgery in ovariancancer, however both studies had limitations with lower rate of complete resection and lack ofsurgical qualifications for participating centers. There is no consensus on whether neoadjuvantchemotherapy followed by interval debulking surgery (NACT-IDS) could be a preferred approachin the management of advanced epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) in the clinical practice. Methods: The Asian SUNNY study is an open-label, multicenter, randomized controlled, phase III trial to compare the effect of primary debulking surgery (PDS) to NACT-IDS instages IIIC and IV EOC, fallopian tube cancer (FTC) or primary peritoneal carcinoma (PPC). The hypothesis is that PDS enhances the survivorship when compared with NACT-IDS inadvanced ovarian cancer. The primary objective is to clarify the role of PDS and NACT-IDS inthe treatment of advanced ovarian cancer. Surgical quality assures include at least 50% of nogross residual (NGR) in PDS group in all centers and participating centers should be nationalcancer centers or designed ovarian cancer section or those with the experience participatingsurgical trials of ovarian cancer. Any participating center should be monitored evaluatingthe proportions of NGR by a training set. The aim of the surgery in both arms is maximalcytoreduction. Tumor burden of the disease is evaluated by diagnostic laparoscopy orpositron emission tomography/computed tomography scan. Patients assigned to PDS groupwill undergo upfront maximal cytoreductive surgery within 3 weeks after biopsy, followed by6 cycles of standard adjuvant chemotherapy. Patients assigned to NACT group will undergo 3cycles of NACT-IDS, and subsequently 3 cycles of adjuvant chemotherapy. The maximal timeinterval between IDS and the initiation of adjuvant chemotherapy is 8 weeks. Major inclusioncriteria are pathologic confirmed stage IIIC and IV EOC, FTC or PPC; ECOG performancestatus of 0 to 2; ASA score of 1 to 2. Major exclusion criteria are non-epithelial tumors as wellas borderline tumors; low-grade carcinoma; mucinous ovarian cancer. The sample size is 456subjects. Primary endpoint is overall survival. Single-index composite quantile regression

In this paper, we extend the composite quantile regression (CQR) method to a single-index model. The unknown link function is estimated by local composite quantile regression and the parametric index is estimated through the linear composite quantile. It is shown that the proposed estimators are consistent and asymptotically normal. The simulation studies and real data applications are conducted to illustrate the finite sample performance of the proposed methods.
HRKT: A Hierarchical Route Key Tree based Group Key Management for Wireless Sensor Networks
( Rong Jiang ),( Jun Luo ),( Xiaoping Wang ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2013 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.7 No.8
In wireless sensor networks (WSNs), energy efficiency is one of the most essential design considerations, since sensor nodes are resource constrained. Group communication can reduce WSNs communication overhead by sending a message to multiple nodes in one packet. In this paper, in order to simultaneously resolve the transmission security and scalability in WSNs group communications, we propose a hierarchical cluster-based secure and scalable group key management scheme, called HRKT, based on logic key tree and route key tree structure. The HRKT scheme divides the group key into cluster head key and cluster key. The cluster head generates a route key tree according to the route topology of the cluster. This hierarchical key structure facilitates local secure communications taking advantage of the fact that the nodes at a contiguous place usually communicate with each other more frequently. In HRKT scheme, the key updates are confined in a cluster, so the cost of the key updates is reduced efficiently, especially in the case of massive membership changes. The security analysis shows that the HRKT scheme meets the requirements of group communication. In addition, performance simulation results also demonstrate its efficiency in terms of low storage and flexibility when membership changes massively.
Random weighting M-estimation for linear errors-in-variables models
Jiang, Rong,Yang, Xiaohan,Qian, Weimin 한국통계학회 2012 Journal of the Korean Statistical Society Vol.41 No.4
In this paper, we extend the random weighting method to linear errors-in-variables models and propose random weighting M-estimators (RWME) for parameters. Its large sample properties are studied and the consistency and asymptotic normality are proved under mild conditions. In addition, the results facilitate the construction of confidence regions and hypothesis testing for the unknown parameters. Extensive simulations are reported, showing that the proposed method works well in practical settings. The proposed methods are also applied to a data set from an AIDS clinical trial group study.

Rong Jiang,Hongzhi Liao,Ming Yang,Chunhong Li 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Grid and Distributed Comp Vol.8 No.4
This paper proposes an information-entropy-based decision-making method for selecting cloud computing service. Firstly, an evaluation index system (EIS-DMSCS) is developed. Secondly, a decision-making method is constructed. Finally, the application example proves the scientificity, effectiveness and feasibility of this method.

A novel islanding detection method is proposed in this paper. It is based on a frequency drooping PLL, which was presented in a previous work. The cause of errors in the non-detection zone (NDZ) of conventional frequency disturbance islanding detection methods (IDM) is analyzed. A frequency drooping phase-locked-loop (FD-PLL) is introduced into a single-phase grid-connected inverter (SPGCI), which can guarantee that grid current is in phase with the grid voltage. A novel FD-PLL IDM is proposed by improving this PLL. In order to verify the performance of the proposed FD-PLL IDM, a full performance comparison between the proposed IDM and typical existing active frequency drift IDMs is carried out, which includes both dynamic performance and steady performance. With the same NDZ, the total harmonic distortion of the grid-current in the dynamic process and steady state is analyzed. The proposed FD-PLL IDM, regardless of the dynamic or steady process, has the best power quality. Experimental and simulation results verify that the proposed FD-PLL IDM has excellent performance.

This study is to discuss the possibities of repair and strengthening for slab concrete with the polymer overlaying method. According to the test results, the polymer shows a favorable capability of permeatation, which increases the flexural strength of concrete. So it reveals that it is possible to repair and strengthen the concrete structure especially slab with the polymer overlaying method.
