        Robust Multi-Objective H∞ Reliable Control for Delta Operator Switched Uncertain Linear Systems

        This paper deals with the robust guaranteed-cost H∞ reliable control problem for delta operator switched uncertain linear systems with actuator faults. The upper bound of the guaranteed-cost function is determined and the closed-loop system can be guaranteed some H∞ performance by using arbitrary and state switching control approaches. Finally, a simulation example is provided to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed methods.

        Laminarin improves developmental competence of porcine early stage embryos by inhibiting oxidative stress

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Laminarin (LMA), a β-glucan mixture with good biocompatibility, improves the growth performance and immune response when used as food additives and nutraceuticals. The aim of the present research was to explore the effects of LMA on porcine early stage embryo development, as well as the underlying mechanisms. The results showed that the developmental competence of porcine early stage embryos was dramatically improved after LMA supplementation during the in vitro culture period. The presence of 20 μg/mL LMA during the in vitro culture period significantly improved cleavage rate, blastocyst formation rates, hatching rate, and total cell number in the blastocyst compared to that in the control group. Notably, LMA attenuated the intracellular reactive oxygen species generation induced by H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB>. Furthermore, LMA not only increased intracellular glutathione levels, but also ameliorated mitochondrial membrane potential. In addition, the expression of a zygotic genome activation related gene (<I>YAP1</I>), pluripotency-related genes (<I>OCT4</I>, <I>NANOG,</I> and <I>SOX2</I>), and hatching-related genes (<I>COX2</I>, <I>GATA4,</I> and <I>ITGA5</I>) were up-regulated following LMA supplementation during porcine early stage embryo development. These results demonstrate that LMA has beneficial effects on the development of porcine early stage embryos via regulation of oxidative stress.         Fabrication of novel self-healable ultraslippery surface for preventing marine microbiologically influenced corrosion

        Slippery liquid-infused porous surfaces (SLIPS) have attracted wide attention in the field of marine anticorrosion. However, the stability problem severely restricts the broad applications of SLIPS. Herein, wefabricated a polyurethane-based ultraslippery surface with lubricant self-replenishing and matrix selfhealingproperties owing to the huge amount of dynamic hydrogen-bond. Besides, the bacteria culturetest and electrochemical analysis results indicate the prepared surface possesses superior properties inthe protection of microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC). This paper offers an efficient strategy tosolve stability problem of SLIPS, and the as-obtained self-healable ultraslippery surface can be used asa promising material in mitigating MIC.

        중국 소비자의 미리 포장된 식사 구매 의도에 대한 이론적 기반 및 실증적 검증: 소비자 혁신성 관점에서 확장된 TPB 모델

        COVID-19 팬데믹의 영향으로 중국의 미리 포장된 식사 산업이 빠른 성장 단계에 진입하여 소비자들로부터 점점 더 많은 호감을 얻고 있습니다. 이 연구는 중국 소비자들이 미리 포장된 식사를 구매하는 데 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색하는 것을 목표로 합니다. 우리는 계획된 행동 이론(TPB)과 소비자 혁신성을 사용하여 구조방정식 모델을 구축했습니다. 이 정량적 연구는 비확률 샘플링 온라인 설문조사를 통해 293개의 유효 데이터 포인트를 수집하고 SPSS 27.0 및 AMOS 26.0을 사용하여 모델 검증을 수행했습니다. 결과는 소비자의 도구적 및 정서적 태도가 구매 의도에 중요하게 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 보여줍니다. 서술적 규범도 구매 의도에 중요한 긍정적인 영향을 미칩니다, 반면 지시적 규범은 중요한 영향을 보이지 않습니다. 소비자의 자기 통제력과 외부 조건은 모두 구매 의도와 행동에 중요한 긍정적인 영향을 미칩니다. 구매 의도는 구매 행동에 중요한 영향을 미치며 자기 통제력과 외부 조건에서의 매개 효과를 가집니다. 소비자 혁신성은 구매 의도와 행동 사이에서 중요한 조절 역할을 합니다. 제품 디자인과 홍보를 강화하기 위해 소비자들에게 매력을 높이는 것이 필수적입니다. 추가 연구를 위한 제안이 제시됩니다. Owing to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the pre-made food industry in China has entered a rapid growth phase, gaining increasing favor from consumers. This study aims to explore the factors influencing Chinese consumers' purchase of pre-made food. We employed the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and consumer innovativeness to construct a structural equation model. This quantitative study gathered 293 valid data points through non-probability sampling online surveys and employed SPSS 27.0 and AMOS 26.0 for model validation. Results reveal that consumers' instrumental and affective attitudes significantly positively influence purchase intention. Descriptive norms also exert a significant positive impact on purchase intention, while injunctive norms do not show a significant effect. Consumers' self-control and external conditions both have significant positive influences on purchase intention and behavior. Purchase intention significantly affects purchase behavior and mediates effects in self-control and external conditions. Consumer innovativeness plays a significant moderating role between purchase intention and behavior. To enhance product design and promotion, it is imperative to increase attractiveness to consumers. Suggestions for further research are presented.

        Laser-activatable Oxygen Self-supplying Nanoplatform for Efficiently Overcoming Colorectal Cancer Resistance by Enhanced Ferroptosis and Alleviated Hypoxic Microenvironment

        Background Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the second most deadly cancer worldwide, with chemo-resistance remaining a major obstacle in CRC treatment. Notably, the imbalance of redox homeostasis-mediated ferroptosis and the modulation of hypoxic tumor microenvironment are regarded as new entry points for overcoming the chemo-resistance of CRC. Methods Inspired by this, we rationally designed a light-activatable oxygen self-supplying chemo-photothermal nanoplatform by co-assembling cisplatin (CDDP) and linoleic acid (LA)-tailored IR820 via enhanced ferroptosis against colorectal cancer chemo-resistance. In this nanoplatform, CDDP can produce hydrogen peroxide in CRC cells through a series of enzymatic reactions and subsequently release oxygen under laser-triggered photothermal to alleviate hypoxia. Additionally, the introduced LA can add exogenous unsaturated fatty acids into CRC cells, triggering ferroptosis via oxidative stress-related peroxidized lipid accumulation. Meanwhile, photothermal can efficiently boost the rate of enzymatic response and local blood flow, hence increasing the oxygen supply and oxidizing LA for enhanced ferroptosis. Results This nanoplatform exhibited excellent anti-tumor efficacy in chemo-resistant cell lines and showed potent inhibitory capability in nude mice xenograft models. Conclusions Taken together, this nanoplatform provides a promising paradigm via enhanced ferroptosis and alleviated hypoxia tumor microenvironment against CRC chemo-resistance.

        Transfusion auxiliary device by patient manual control dressing is proposed. It is realized by one-way rotation ratchet mechanism, which is consistent of slider-crank mechanism and double pawl ratchet mechanism. Dressing change is automatically realized by patient manual control rope. This reduces the labor intensity of the medical staff, shortens the waiting time of the patients. This device has the advantage of low cost, large market space.

        Esomeprazole magnesium enteric-coated pellet-based tablets with high acid tolerance and good compressibility

        The aim of this study was to develop esomeprazole magnesium (EMZ-Mg) enteric-coated pellets and pellet-based tablets, as well as to investigate the effects of pellet size and compression method on acid tolerance, content uniformity, compressibility, and stability of preparations. This study used two types of pellet cores, namely, microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) core with a particle size of 150–300 μm and sucrose core with a particle size of 600–700 μm. Enteric-coated pellets, which consisted of a drug-free core, a drug layer, a sub-coating layer (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, 6 cps), and an enteric-coating layer ( Eudragit®L30D-55), were prepared by using a bottomspray fluidized bed-coating technique. Pellet-based tablets were prepared by using a direct compression method or a wet granulation method. The acid tolerances of the two types of enteric-coated pellets (MCC and sucrose cores) reached up to 98% in simulated gastric fluid (pH 1.0) within 2 h, and the dissolution rates in simulated intestinal fluid (pH 6.8) reached up to 85% of the labeled amount within 15 min. When compressed into tablets, the pellets based on MCC core (smaller particle size) displayed a significantly higher acid tolerance (up to 92%) compared with the pellets based on sucrose core (larger particle size). In addition, the MCC core-based tablets (F8), especially those prepared by using a granulation method, showed higher drug content uniformity and compressibility than the sucrose core-based tablets (F10), and no lamination phenomenon was observed during compression. The crystallinity of EMZ-Mg was altered during drug layering process, and some physicochemical interactions were observed between the drug and excipients. Moreover, the two types of enteric-coated pellets showed a relatively high stability after storage under high temperature and strong light. However, they showed poor stability under high humidity, resulting in remarkable degradation of active compound. The EMZ-Mg entericcoated pellets and pellet-based tablets were successfully developed, and reduction in pellet size and wet granulation reduced the differences in content uniformity and better protected the pellet coating from damages during compression.

        Behavior and molecular physiology of nurses of worker and queen larvae in honey bees (Apis mellifera)

        In a honey bee colony, worker bees rear a newqueen by providing herwith a larger cell inwhich to develop and alarge amount of richer food (royal jelly). Royal jelly and worker jelly (fed to developing worker larvae) differ interms of sugar, vitamin, protein and nucleotide composition. Here we examined whether workers attendingqueen andworker larvae are separate specialized sub-castes of the nurse bees.We collected nurse bees attendingqueen larvae (AQL) and worker larvae (AWL) and compared gene expression profiles of hypopharyngeal glandtissues, using Solexa/Illumina digital gene expression tag profiling (DGE). Significant differences in gene expressionwere found that included a disproportionate number of genes involved in glandular secretion and royal jellysynthesis. However behavioral observations showed that thesewere not two entirely distinct populations. Nurseworkers were observed attending both worker larvae and queen larvae, and there was no evidence of a specializedgroup of workers that preferentially or exclusively attended developing queens. Nevertheless, AQL attendedlarvaemore frequently compared toAWL, suggesting that nurses sampled attending queen larvaemay have beenthe most active nurses. This study serves as another example of the relationship between differences in gene expressionand behavioral specialisation in honey bees.
