        High alcohol-soluble MoOx gel for interfacial layer in organic solar cells

        Water-free solvent soluble, low-temperature processed metal oxides are important for preparing efficient and stable electronic devices, as well as the convenience in simplifying the device production process. Here we reported a facile approach with the features of low-temperature and solution-based process for the formation of a MoOx (s-MoOx) film as interface layer in polymer solar cells (PSCs). The absorbability, elementary composition, electronic property and surface microstructure of the s-MoOx are investigated in detail by ultravioletevisible spectrophotometer (UVevis), X-ray photoelectron spectrometry (XPS), ultraviolet photo-electron spectrometer (UPS) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). These investigations confirmed that such MoOx xerogel has high solubility in the organic alcohol solvents, such as ethanol and methanol. Meanwhile, this s-MoOx can be applied as the interfacial layer in organic solar cells via a low-temperature treatment (about 100 C) due to its proper physical properties, and a power conversion efficiency (PCE) over 3% was achieved. In addition, the devices with s-MoOx shows excellent air-stability, and the PCE efficiency can maintain about 84% of its initial value after 100 h exposure in air, which is dramatically enhanced comparing with the common devices with PEDOT:PSS layer.

        Active power decoupling method for single‑phase PWM converters without LC branch sensors

        The presence of ripple power in a converter system has a negative influence on both control performance and reliability. Active power decoupling (APD) is a practical technique to deal with such problems. However, the APD method requires extra sensors on the LC branch, which increases the complexity and cost of the control system. This paper puts forward a new APD method to handle undesirable ripple power for H-bridge PWM converters. When compared with previous APD methods, the proposed APD method eliminates the current and voltage sensors on the LC branch by utilizing a ripple voltage control loop. Then, both the cost and reliability of the converter system are improved. To improve the control performance, an APD method that only has a voltage sensor in the LC branch is also discussed. Simulation results show that the DC-link voltage ripples can be decreased due to the application of the proposed APD method. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by the experimental results.

      • Microarray Analysis of Long Non-coding RNA Expression Profile Associated with 5-Fluorouracil-Based Chemoradiation Resistance in Colorectal Cancer Cells

        Background: Preoperative 5-fluorouracil (5-FU)-based chemoradiotherapy is a standard treatment for locally advanced colorectal cancer (CRC). However, CRC cells often develop chemoradiation resistance (CRR). Recent studies have shown that long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) plays critical roles in a myriad of biological processes and human diseases, as well as chemotherapy resistance. Since the roles of lncRNAs in 5-FU-based CRR in human CRC cells remain unknown, they were investigated in this study. Materials and Methods: A 5-FU-based concurrent CRR cell model was established using human CRC cell line HCT116. Microarray expression profiling of lncRNAs and mRNAs was undertaken in parental HCT116 and 5-FU-based CRR cell lines. Results: In total, 2,662 differentially expressed lncRNAs and 2,398 mRNAs were identified in 5-FU-based CRR HCT116 cells when compared with those in parental HCT116. Moreover, 6 lncRNAs and 6 mRNAs found to be differentially expressed were validated by quantitative real time PCR (qRT-PCR). Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway analysis for the differentially expressed mRNAs indicated involvement of many, such as Jak-STAT, PI3K-Akt and NF-kappa B signaling pathways. To better understand the molecular basis of 5-FU-based CRR in CRC cells, correlated expression networks were constructed based on 8 intergenic lncRNAs and their nearby coding genes. Conclusions: Changes in lncRNA expression are involved in 5-FU-based CRR in CRC cells. These findings may provide novel insight for the prognosis and prediction of response to therapy in CRC patients.

        최근 국내외의 스포츠 시장은 급속히 발전하고 있다. 생활수준의 향상, 노동시간의 단축, 여가시간의 증가, 라이프스타일의 변화로 스포츠를 즐기려는 사람들의 수가 증가하고 있으며, 스포츠에 대한 소비자의 욕구가 다양해지고 있다. 또한 국내외에서 좋은 성적을 거두며 주목을 받고 있는 스포츠 선수들, 팀들, 이벤트들에 의해 스포츠에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 이러한 추세에 부응하고자 기업들은 스포츠를 이용하여 기업 홍보, 이미지 제고, 매출액증대를 꾀하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 스폰서십에 관한 기존의 연구를 고찰하여, 스포츠 스폰서십과 제품태도 및 구매의도간의 관계를 검정하기 위하여 선행연구에 대한 문헌고찰을 하였다. 또한 문헌연구를 토대로 설문조사에 의한 실증분석을 실시하였고, 구체적인 가설검정 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스포츠 스폰서십 중 선수 스폰서십, 이벤트 스폰서십이 제품태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 반면 팀 스폰서십은 제품태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 스포츠 스폰서십에 의한 제품태도가 구매의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. Recently, industrialization of sports is consisting rapidly as social part of sports is magnified by diffusion of domestic sports market and sport consumer's increase. Sports sponsorship has property of a communication policy too and contributes to climb general communication effect of corporation. The purpose of this study is that we are to review relationship among the sports sponsorship, product attitude and purchase Intention. The results of research hypotheses are that sports players, events sponsorship have effect on product attitude except teams sponsorship, then product attitude has an effect on purchase intention.

      • MiR-421 Regulates Apoptosis of BGC-823 Gastric Cancer Cells by Targeting Caspase-3

        MicroRNAs might act as oncogenes or tumor suppressors in cancer. Recent studies have shown that miR-421 is up-regulated in human gastric cancer. Here, we found that miR-421 was over-expressed in gastric cancer tissues and cell lines. Bioinformatics analysis predicted that the caspase-3 gene was a target of miR-421. Caspase-3 was negatively regulated by miR-421 at the post-transcriptional level. Bax and Bcl-2 were also regulated by miR-421. Moreover, tumor necrosis factor receptor-I and -II, death receptors in the apoptosis pathway, were up-regulated by miR-421. The over-expression of miR-421 promoted gastric cancer cell growth and inhibited apoptosis of the BGC-823 gastric cancer cell line. These observations indicate that miR-421 acts as a tumor promoter by targeting the caspase-3 gene and preventing apoptosis of gastric cancer cells through inhibition of caspase-3 expression. These findings contribute to our understanding of the functions of miR-421 in gastric cancer.

        점포이미지, 고객의 감정반응 및 행동의도의 관계

        본 연구는 점포이미지, 감정반응, 행동의도간의 관계를 중심으로 연구모형을 수립하고, 이들 변수들 간의 인과관계를 규명하는데 주된 목적을 두었다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해서 선행연구들을 고찰하여, 연구모형 및 가설을 도출하였고, 백화점을 이용하는 고객들을 대상으로 총 296부의 설문자료를 수집하여 실증분석을 실시하였다. 실증분석 결과, 점포이미지는 감정반응 및 행동의도와 부분적으로 유의한 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 점포의 객관적 이미지는 긍정적 감정에 유의한 영향을 미치며, 긍정적 감정을 통해 간접적으로 행동의도에 유의한 영향을 미치고, 부정적 감정에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 주관적 이미지는 긍정적 감정과 부정적 감정에 모두 유의한 영향을 미치며, 긍정적 감정과 부정적 감정을 통해 모두 간접적으로 행동의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 이론적인 측면은 물론 실무적인 측면에서도 유통기업의 마케팅전략 수립에 활용할 수 있는 유익한 시사점을 제공해 줄 수 있을 것이다. The purposes of the study is builded upon previous researches to set up research model and investigate the relationship among store image, customers’ emotional responses and behavior intention. For achieving study purposes, research model and hypotheses were set up after reviewing previous researches. The data were collected from a sample of 296 customers of department store, then used to conducted an empirical analysis. The results showed the significant relationship were partially found among store image, emotional responses and behavior intention. Objective store image influence positive emotions, indirectly influence behavior intention through positive emotions, but objective store image don't influence negative emotions. Subjective store image influence shoppers’ positive emotions and negative emotions, and indirectly influence shoppers’ behavior intention through positive emotions and negative emotions. This study has provided a variety of theoretical and practical implications for retailers to set up marketing strategies.

        The characteristics of genistin-induced inhibitory effects on intestinal motility

        Genistin belongs to isoflavones. Based on thefacts that genistin exerts inhibitory effects on the contractilityof vascular smooth muscle,the present study wasdesigned to characterize the effects of genistin on intestinalcontractility and evaluate its potential clinical implication. Ex vivo [isolated jejunal segment (IJS) of rat], in vitro, andin vivo assays were used in the study. The results indicatedthat genistin (5–80 lmol/L) inhibited the contraction of IJSin a dose-dependent manner and inhibited the increasedcontractilityof IJS induced by acetylcholine (ACh), histamine,high Ca2?, and erythromycin, respectively. Theinhibitory effects of genistin were correlated with thestimulation of alpha adrenergic and beta adrenergicreceptors since these inhibitory effects were significantlyblocked in the presence of phentolamine and propranololrespectively. No further inhibitory effects of genistin wereobserved in the presence of verapamil or in Ca2?-freecondition, indicating genistin-induced inhibitory effects areCa2?-dependent. Genistin decreased myosin light chainkinase (MLCK) protein contents and MLCK mRNAexpression in IJS, and inhibited both phosphorylation andMg2?-ATPase activity of purified myosin, implicating thatthe decrease of MLCK contents and inhibition of MLCKactivity are involved in the genistin-induced inhibitoryeffects. The study suggests the potential clinical implicationsof genistin in relieving intestinal hypercontractility.
