The conventional methods used to evaluate battery state-of-charge (SOC) cannot accommodate the chemistry nonlinearities, measurement inaccuracies and parameter perturbations involved in estimation systems. In this paper, an impedance-based equivalent circuit model has been constructed with respect to a LiFePO₄ battery by approximating the electrochemical impedance spectrum (EIS) with RC circuits. The efficiencies of approximating the EIS with RC networks in different series-parallel forms are first discussed. Additionally, the typical hysteresis characteristic is modeled through an empirical approach. Subsequently, a methodology incorporating an H-infinity observer designated for open-circuit voltage (OCV) observation and a hysteresis model developed for OCV-SOC mapping is proposed. Thereafter, evaluation experiments under FUDS and UDDS test cycles are undertaken with varying temperatures and different current-sense bias. Experimental comparisons, in comparison with the EKF based method, indicate that the proposed SOC estimator is more effective and robust. Moreover, test results on a group of Li-ion batteries, from different manufacturers and of different chemistries, show that the proposed method has high generalization capability for all the three types of Li-ion batteries.

Polyphyllin D (PD), an active component from a traditional medicinal herb Paris polyphylla, which has long been used for the treatment of cancer in Asian countries, has been found to hold significant antitumor activity in vivo or in vitro. However, there were few reports on the effects and underlying mechanism of PD on apoptosis in U87 human glioma cells. The present study was conducted to evaluate apoptotic induction of PD in U87 human glioma cells, and explore its underlying pathway. U87 glioma cells were cultured and treated with varied concentrations of PD (from 10- 8 to 10- 4 M). The inhibition of U87 glioma cell proliferation by PD was assessed by MTT assay. The apoptosis of U87 glioma cells was detected by flow cytometry, and western blot analysis was used to examine human B-cell leukemia/lymphoma 2 (Bcl-2), human Bcl-2 associated X protein (Bax), caspase-3, total-c-jun NH2-terminal kinase (t-JNK), and phosphorylation-JNK (p-JNK) protein expression in U87 human glioma cells. The treatment with PD for 24 h significantly inhibited the proliferation of U87 human glioma cells in a concentration-dependent manner. PD increased apoptosis and significantly upregulated the expression of Bax, caspase-3, and p-JNK associated with apoptosis, but downregulated antiapoptotic Bcl-2 expression in U87 human glioma cells. Our data provided evidences that PD induces apoptosis in U87 human glioma cells. This effect might be associated with the JNK pathway.
Real-time Evaluation Mechanism Based on Double Evidence Classification of User Behavior
Jiale Zhang,Guiling Zhang,Xiufang Zhang 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.10 No.12
With the development of trusted network, the research of trusted evaluation mechanism of user behavior is a hotpot in the network security. In order to solve the problems of subjectivity, limitations and static in traditional trusted network user behavior evaluation models, we have to find a real-time and dynamic evaluation method for user behavior. In this paper, the authors construct a real-time evaluation mechanism based on double evidence classification of user behavior (DEC-UB). The evaluation mechanism includes the process classification and characteristic classification of user behavior evidence, which makes the user behavior evidence of any time can be directly involved in the trust evaluation, and the evaluation result is more comprehensive and accurate. Simulation experiments have evaluated the three kinds of user behaviors based on the DEC-UB, and compared them with the other two kinds of trust evaluation methods of user behavior, the results show that the proposed methods can evaluate the user's behavior comprehensively, accurately and dynamically in complex network environments, and the results are more realistic.

Conventional battery state-of-charge (SoC) estimation methods either involve sophisticated models or consume considerable computational resource. This study constructs an enhanced coulomb counting method (Ah method) for the SoC estimation of lithium-ion batteries (LiBs) by expanding the Peukert equation for the discharging process and incorporating the Coulombic efficiency for the charging process. Both the rate- and temperature-dependence of battery capacity are encompassed. An SoC mapping approach is also devised for initial SoC determination and Ah method correction. The charge counting performance at different sampling frequencies is analyzed experimentally and theoretically. To achieve a favorable compromise between sampling frequency and accumulation accuracy, a frequency-adjustable current sampling solution is developed. Experiments under the augmented urban dynamometer driving schedule cycles at different temperatures are conducted on two LiBs of different chemistries. Results verify the effectiveness and generalization ability of the proposed SoC estimation method.
DIFFERENCES OF WEIGHTED COMPOSITION OPERATORS ON BERGMAN SPACES INDUCED BY DOUBLING WEIGHTS
Jiale Chen 대한수학회 2023 대한수학회보 Vol.60 No.5
We characterize the boundedness and compactness of differences of weighted composition operators acting from weighted Bergman spaces $A^p_{\omega}$ to Lebesgue spaces $L^q(d\mu)$ for all $0<p,q<\infty$, where $\omega$ is a radial weight on the unit disk admitting a two-sided doubling condition.
A Qualitative Inquiry on English Learning Vision among Chinese Christian Graduate Students
Jiale Zhang,김정인 한국콘텐츠학회 2022 International Journal of Contents Vol.18 No.4
Vision represents an individual’s future image and is related to one’s psychological state. An individual’s second-language (L2) vision determines their language study goals, and religious or spiritual beliefs may be central to this vision of oneself. This study aimed to discover the participants’ L2 visions and explore how the Christian faith affects their L2 visions. The researchers adopted a qualitative research approach to examine how Christianity informed the L2 visions and English learning of four Chinese Christian graduate students. This study was performed in a provincial university in China and lasted from March 2021 to December 2021. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and informal talk. The collected data were analyzed using thematic analysis containing initial and axial coding. The findings showed that the participants’ L2 visions included their dissatisfaction with the L2 reality and the identification of their L2 expectations. Moreover, the data revealed that the participants’ Christian faith brought them devotion and self-discipline in English learning. Finally, the researchers found that the L2 vision and Christian faith can be combined into a unique vision to stimulate students’ English learning. One pedagogical implication is that students need to be encouraged by their teachers to discover their visions and develop different ones. Another implication is that teachers should simultaneously pay attention to students’ visions and adjust their teaching strategies to meet students’ needs.
