심미적·지역문화 공간으로 어린이전용극장의 가치와 의의에 관한 연구

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 심미적 지역문화 공간으로 어린이전용극장이 무엇이 내재되어 있는지, 어떤 가치가 있는지 탐색하는 것이다. 연구방법: 지역중심 어린이전용극장의 대표적인 미국·국내 사례의 중심으로 기획·감독 전문가 PII(개별조사면접)을 통해 면담, e-mail 등의 자료를 수집하여 심미적 지역문화 공간으로 어린이전용극장의 가치와 의의를 분석하여 유형화하였다. 결과: 첫째, 심미적 공간으로서 지역 어린이전용극장의 가치는 상상력교육으로서 가치를 자리매김하고 있었다. 심미적 공간으로 어린이전용극장의 가치화에 있어서 ‘마치~되는 것(as~if)’과 같은 상상력의 공간의 환원은 어린이전용극장이 심미적공간이 될 수 있는 주요 요소임을 사례연구를 통해 확인 할 수 있었다. 둘째, 공동체성으로의 가치이다. 지역중심의 어린이전용극장은 물리적·정서적 공간을 뛰어넘어 공동체(Community)기반의 사회자본의 구성요소와 특징을 감당하고 있었다. 지역의 예술가·시민(아동·어른)에게 공동체성을 발휘하는 공간으로 자리매김하고 있었다. 셋째, 융합교육으로서 역할을 감당하고 있었다. 융합(Convergence)의 정의가 새로운 가치를 창출하는 것을 핵심이라고 한다면, 본 공간에서 예술장르· 다양한 문화·대상들이 서로 융합함을 통해 새로운 ‘하나의 경험’ 일어나고 있었다. 앞으로도 지역문화공간으로서 어린이전용극장이 활성화 되어서 지속적으로 변화하는 사회적 구조와 환경을 반영하여 심미적 공간으로서 역할이 수행되기를 기대한다. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore how children's theaters are organized and what values are embedded into aesthetic and local cultural spaces. Methods: Based on representative American and domestic examples of children‘s theaters, data from interviews and e-mails were collected through PII (individual survey interviews) and analyzed, and children’s theaters typified aesthetic and local cultural spaces. Results: Children’s theaters play a role in imaginative education. A case study confirmed that the return of imaginative spaces, such as "as-if" situations, is a major factor in children's theaters developing into aesthetic spaces. Second, children’s theaters are valuable to communities. Children's theaters deal with the components and characteristics of community-based social capital, beyond just physical and emotional spaces. Children’s theaters were established as a place for local artists and citizens (children and adults). Third, children’s theaters play a role in convergence education. If the definition of convergence is a key to creating new values, then children’s theater programs, intermediaries, and alternative spaces act as spaces where ideas converge to create synergy. We hope that children's theaters will continue to be activated and play their role as aesthetic spaces, reflecting continuously changing social structures and environments.
Argument Control and Mapping Theory: Evidence from the HO Construction in Taiwanese

The Lexical-Mapping Theory (LMT) in Lexical-Functional Grammar (LFG) predicts syntactic representations by mapping from the lexical predicate argument structure of the verbs (Bresnan and Kanerva 1989). Yet the widely followed account of control still is Bresnan``s (1982) functional control based on grammatical functions and structural terms. In this paper, we try to propose a theory of control in line with the LMT theory. The new control mechanism is called Argument Control. Facts involving the HO construction in Taiwanese will be given first to show the inadequacy of Functional Control. Then, based on the observation that the HO construction in Taiwanese manifests a semantic alternation determined by both the property of the matrix subject and of the embedded subject, we propose the theory of argument control. In this theory, the control relation lies between two thematic roles.

The light shelf, which is a natural light system, has been intensively studied as its efficiency is recognized. However, previous studies on the light shelf have not considered various depths of space, and the performance of light shelf design has not been sufficiently studied with respect to the separation distance between a skylight and a reflection board. Therefore, the purpose of the present study is to establish the fundamental data for light shelf design by deriving an appropriate separation distance between a skylight and a reflection board, considering various depths of space. In the present study, a simulation software program, Radiance, was employed, and the performance evaluation was limited to the environment on the summer solstice when the energy consumption in buildings is the highest. The depth of space was established from 3 m to 8 m at intervals of 1 m for the performance evaluation. The separation distance between a light shelf and a skylight was set to be 50 mm, 100 mm, 150 mm, 200 mm, and 250 mm. The performance evaluation was conducted by deriving the depth of space and uniformity that satisfied the standard of 400 lx. The following conclusions were drawn from the present study. 1) The depths of space that satisfied the standard of 400 lx depending on the separation distance between the light shelf and the skylight established in the present study were the same at the light shelf angle of 0̊. However, the performance of the light shelf depending on the separation distance between the light shelf and the skylight was dependent on the depths of space at the light shelf angle of 30̊. 2) With regard to the uniformity depending on the separation distance between a light shelf and a skylight, the uniformity was excellent in the case where the separation distance between a light shelf and a skylight was equal to or shorter than 100 mm, while the uniformity was poor in the case where the separation distance was equal to or longer than 150 mm, which should be considered in the design of a light shelf. In the present study, appropriate factors related to light shelf design were identified by analyzing the performance of a light shelf depending on the separation distance between a light shelf and a skylight. Various studies may need to be conducted in the future about the performance variation on the basis of the separation distance between a light shelf and a skylight depending on the depth of space in controlling the angle of a light shelf.
Quadrature Oscillators with Grounded Capacitors and Resistors Using FDCCIIs

Two current-mode and/or voltage-mode quadrature oscillator circuits each using one fully-differential secondgeneration current conveyor (FDCCII), two grounded capacitors, and two (or three) grounded resistors are presented. In the proposed circuits, the current-mode quadrature signals have the advantage of high-output impedance. The oscillation conditions and oscillation frequencies are orthogonally (or independently) controllable. The current-mode and voltage-mode quadrature signals can be simultaneously obtained from the second proposed circuit. The use of only grounded capacitors and resistors makes the proposed circuits ideal for integrated circuit implementation. Simulation results are also included.
