      • Tacotsubo Cardiomyopathy Secondary to Pyogenic Liver Abscess

        Background: Takotsubo cardiomyopathy, also known as stress cardiomyopathy, is a type of non-ischemic cardiomyopathy in which myocardium suddenly weaken temporarily and is caused by emotional or physical stress such as sepsis, bleeding, asthma, or pheochromocytoma. Several infections have also been shown to precipitate Takotsubo cardiomyopathy. However, few cases have demonstrated the association with liver abscess. Reported herein is a rare case of Takotsubo cardiomyopathy precipitated by the liver abscess. Case: A 73-year-old female was admitted due to fever. She has been without any illness. She was acute ill looking appearance. Initial vital signs were: BP 110/60 mmHg, HR 101 beats/min, RR 20 breaths/min, temperature 38.0℃. Laboratory studies revealed WBC 21,550/㎣, hemoglobin 14.7 g/dL, platelet 101,000/㎣, prothrombin time was 15.8 sec (INR of 1.44). AST/ALT 94/87 IU/L, total bilirubin 0.89 mg/dL, albumin 2.9 g/dL, r-GTP 66 U/L, ALP 139 U/L. Viral markers were HBsAg(-), anti-HBs(+), anti-HBc IgM(-), anti-HAV IgM(-), anti-HCV(-). Initial EKG showed sinus tachycardia. Abdominal CT showed about 5x6cm sized cystic mass like lesion with air bubbles in the liver S8. Percutanenous catheter drainage was performed and antibiotic treatment was started. On 2<sup>nd</sup> day after admission, she developed suddenly worsening of dyspnea followed by blood pressure drop. Follow up EKG revealed myocardial ischemic change of lateral wall. CK 602 U/L, CK-MB 105.4 ng/ml, LDH 613 U/L, Troponin-I 18.8 ng/ml. Transthorasic echocardiography showed diffuse myocardial hyokinesia (ejection fraction 26%). But, coronorary angiogram showed completely normal findings. The cultured pus and blood samples were positive for K. pneumoniae. On the 11th day of hospitalization, her cardiac function was restored and EKG showed normal sinus rhythm. Her liver function recovered completely to normal and follow up abdominal CT showed marked decreased size of liver abscess on 38th day of hospitalization. Conclusions: Tacotsubo cardiomyopathy caused by pyogenic liver abscess is rare. The presentation is vary from asymptomatic to chest pain, shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, palpitations or fainting. It may also show an EKG change and troponin elevation similar to myocardial infarction. Although stress cardiomyopathy is a reversible condition, but it can be serious and fatal.

        We understand the meaning of The SoPoongTang's using and compared with western medical treatment of cerebral thrombosis, so except that The SoPoongTang is effective of preventing early cerebral thrombosis' degeneration. therefore, we had prescribed the estract of The SoPoongTang in 47 early cerebral thrombosis patients for a week from April, 1994 to December, 1994 and the result was as follows; 1. We observed recovering rates after a week; Headache 40%, Dizziness 87.5%, Insomnia 505, Neck stiffness 83.3%, Redface 755, Palpitation 100%; Avearge recovering rates 68.8%. 2. We observed the states of consciousness after a week; There were increasing from 41 patients to 43 patients in Gr-4 and decreasing from 5 patients to 3 patients in Fr-3. 3. We observed the states of swallowing after a week; There were increasing from 37 patients to 44 patients in having G.D. decreasing from 7 patients to 3 patients in having S.D and from 6 patients to 0 patients in having L.D. 4. We observed the states of motor weakness after a week. Upper Limb - There were degeneration in 12 patients(25.5%), changelessness in 25 patients(53%), and improvement in 10 patients(21%) Lower Limb - There were degeneration in 5 patients(10.6%), changelessness in 31 patients (66%), and improvement in 11 patients(23.4%) As a result, The SoPoongTang has effect in preventing of the most serious neurological symptoms-hemiplegia, bysphsia, metal disorder in early cerebral thrombosis. Additionally I recommend that we should compare and reserch three cases; independent priescription group(which are) used Urokinase, Heparine, etc. at the begining of Cerebral thrombosis in western medicine; a tretment group which are given combination of Western and Oriental medicine silmultaneously; and this study.

      • 민감도 분석을 이용한 겹치기 필릿용접의 용접변수 선정에 관한 연구

        Arc welding process is one of the most important technologies to join metal plates. Robotic welding offers the reduced manufacturing cost sought, but its widespread use demands a means of sensing and correcting for inaccuracies in the part, the fixturing, and the robot. A number of problems that need to be addressed in robotic arc welding processes include sensing, joint tracking, and lack of adequate mathematical models for parameter prediction and quality control. Problems with parameter settings and quality control occur frequently in the GMA(Gas Metal Arc) welding process because of the large number of interactive parameters that must be set and accurately controlled. The objectives of this paper are to realize the mapping characteristics of bead width using a sensitivity analysis and multiple regression method, and finally select the most accurate model in order to control the weld quality(bead reinforcement area, bead penetration area) for lap joint fillet welding.

      • 신경회로망을 이용한 이면비드 폭 예측에 관한 연구

        The development of robotic welding process is a very complex assignment because the system is affected by a number of process parameters which are very difficult to determine or predict in practice. The full automation welding has not yet been achieved partly because the mathematical model for the process parameters of a given welding task is not fully understood and quantified. Several mathematical models to control welding quality, Productivity, micro structure and weld properties in arc welding processed have been studied. However, it is not an easy task to apply them to the various practical situations because the relationship between the process parameters and the bead geometry is non-linear and also they are usually dependent on specific experimental result. Practically, it is difficult, but important to know how to establish a mathematical model that can predict the result of the actual welding process and how to select the optimum welding condition under a certain constraint. In this paper, an attempt has been made to develop an neural network model to predict the back-bead width as a function of key process parameters in the GMA (Gas Metal Arc) welding and to compare the developed models with the experimental results

      • 漢初의 社會改革策에 對하여 : 治安策內容을 中心으로

        Chia i(賈誼) has pointed out the evil costoms and proposed Chih An Cheh(治安策) to reform the society of begining Han Dynasty because there(were) so much bad habit at those times. The evils of the begining Han(漢) Dynasty had a run since Ts'in Dynasty. The contents of Chih An cheh were about the countermeasure of the feudal Princes, Huns, Social refrom, Ethics and so on. In this dissertation the present writer will discourse about social reform. Chia i has said that three kind of evil costoms at the begining of Han Dynasty. First he has pointed out the uilitarian trend which was accumulatey followed in the steps of Ts'in's old costoms. There was a tendency of the law of the jungle at former time and also those fachion was remarkable at the bveining of Han Dynasty, therefore indistinguishable sumptous moods and the trend of presumptuousness was presented. Second, Chiai has pointed out the morality in those days was damaged. He advocated that the fashion of society was getting more serious by breaking of traditional ethics to maintain the the society. For the countermeasure he has presented the establishment of grade of ranks among the Emperor and govermment officer, father and son, also among relative of same family name. Third, Chiai has asserted that Wu Wei(無爲; doing nothing) Politics damaged the society of Han Dynasty. In the internal politics aspects the power of the fudal princes was extended enormous, therfore the Imperial Therone was infuluenced, in the external issues was the problem of Huns(勾奴). Huns has invated north vorder since Ts'in Dynasty. And people of all social strata has forgotten ehics to preser??e pullic order, so the structure of Han Society has get in to danger. But the ruling classes have no anxiety about those fashion. Chia i has worred over those fashion to maintain the present state. He asserted to employ new and ability figure, then could catch hold the real situation.

The experimental results show that the proposed neural network estimator can predict bead width with reasonable accuracy, and guarantee the uniform weld quality.

        The purpose of this study is to establish the effective direction of development in the coastal zone of Pusan and understand the concept of water front which recently employed to analyze the area of city near the sea. It has been discussed about the present condition, the problem of application of Water-front, and the direction of development in the area of shore using the concept of Water-front. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that Pusan would be the pivot of Asian and Pacific zone with Pusan harbor if the concept of Water-front and the plan of its employment is carefully arranged.

        유한요소법을 이용한 용접부의 열전달 및 잔류응력 해석에 관한 연구

        This paper represents to develop a computer software system which is capable to analyze the phase transformation of high strength steel(BV-AH32) and to predict heat transfer and welding residual stress due to phase transformation during Gas Metal Arc(GMA) welding. The developed model was considered temperature dependent properties such as young's modules, coefficient of thermal expansion and yield stress as well as the double ellipsoidal heat distribution by the moving arc. From the results, it was found that the longitudinal and transverse residual stresses calculated by the coupled analysis of heat transfer, residual stress and phase transformation showed good agreement with the experimental data. In addition, the temperature distribution as well as longitudinal and transverse residual stresses of weldment by the 1-pass and 2-pass of welding were also determined.

        서울대학교 농업생명과학대학 부속수목원은 1967년 10월 21일 설치된 후 여러 차례 그 위상이 변화되어 오늘에 이르고 있으며 그 설립 목적 또한 수목원 규정에 명시되어 수 차례 개정되었으나 내용면에서 큰 변화 없이 현재까지 유지되어 왔다. 기존의 설립 목적은 수목에 관한 연구, 교육, 증식, 보전이라고 요약할 수 있다. 그러나, 수목원이 설립된 지 30년을 넘는 동안 주변 여건과 시대 상황의 많은 변화가 있었으며 이에 따라 당초 수목원이 설립되던 시점에서 제정된 설립 목적을 시대 상황과 부속수목원이 처한 환경에 맞고 21세기를 지향하는 새로운 교육 여건에 맞춰 개정하고 이 설립목적을 효과적으로 수행하기 위한 전략계획을 새로이 수립하였다. 본 수목원의 개정된 설립목적은 '우리 나라 자생 식물 및 북반구 식물에 관련된 지식과 정보를 축적, 연구하고 학생 및 일반인들을 교육함과 동시에 이들 식물을 수집, 증식, 보전, 전시하고 국내외 관련 기관과의 교류, 협력을 추구한다.'로 확정하였으며 이를 달성하기 위한 전략계회긍ㄹ 수립하였다. Although we have had clear our purposes of The Arboretum since 1967, there have been shortfalls between our long term plans and our current aims. It is about the time that we need to prepare and agree a statement of the central purpose and mission of the garden more clearly. Our objectives of a garden were needed to cover all aspects of the scientific, conservation and education value of the living plant collections worldwide. Our mission and strategy plans were then reviewed extensively and therefore we make sure that it will be useful and relevant to our current work and reflect good practice in our gardens. After a great deal of thought and discussion among our staffs, we identified with and own the mission statement as follows. The Arboretum of Seoul National University mission is to acquire, grow, display, conserve and study documented collections of native plants and other botanic specimens from the temperate Northern hemisphere and to engage in collections of botanical information and knowledge and in education that will enable other international and national institutes as our networks to make use of the knowledge acquired.

      • 회귀분석에서 스코아검정과 분산분석의 비교

        Score test is a test method that is derived from likelihood ratio test by applying the asymptotic properties of score function and Fisher information. So this test can be applied to the model that is twice differenciable with respect to the parameter. In the likelihood ratio test, we need to calculate the maximum likelihood estimator under the alternative hypothesis as well as under the null hypothesis. Hence test procedure becomes more complicated if the model includes many nuisance paramters. But in the score test, we need to concern with finding the m.l.e of nuisance parameters restricted to the hypothesis only. This paper have applied score test for testing parameter of a regressing model, and compared it to the ANOVA.
