        Today we are living in the nuclear age Mentioning that today's crisis is the first since the dawning of civilization in the Old Stone Age. Arnold Toynbee said, "The enemy which threatens annihilation of mankind is not bacteria nor virus, neither a tiger with its keen-edged teeth, but man himself. The following allegorical example of a quick-wit question has much analogy to the present situation of the world. "Shall the sparrow held in my hand be wrung to death: otherwise, shall it be flown in the air?" Of course, whether he kills it or not depends on the free will of man. There are many people who ask if another war will break out in the near future. Likewise, depending on his free will, man himself decides whether or not he will wage war. The will of mankind has persevered in ins efforts to build a better world. The road to the world peace should begin with our efforts to cultivate a peaceful mind. After all, whether the world peace that we are longing for can be achieved or not depends on the resolution of mankind. In that sense, it goes without saying that the world peace is to be based on peace of an individual. That each human being attains peace of mind with a good ideal is a shortcut to the world peace. We, all members of the Brighter Society Movement, should work fur the world peace through all our lives with a firm resolution to make good contributions to the establishment of the world peace that is the pressing need ol the times. If the lasting world peace can be realized on earth, the glory ol the splendid achievements will be attributed to us. In addition, in the process of realization of the world peace, we can also find our life hopeful and worthwhile. In conclusion, when each organizational unit of the Brighter Society Movement serves its society and its country with sincere commitment to love for peace, the world will naturally grow peaceful. This is "the main road to peace."

In conclusion, the value of traditional culture of Hahoe Village must be resighted and, the cultural tourist merchandising is the issue to enhance aggressive participation by local residents the element should be made in the process and to be developed so that may revitalize the experimental merchandise based on conservation, custody and special theme of the traditional folk village.

      • 非晶質半導體 As₂S₃-Ag의 光 doping

        Process of Ag-photodoping into amorphous As₂S₃film was measured by means of Rutherford back scattering of oxygen ions. The composition ratio of the Ag and As in the direction perpendicular to the surface was constant in the all Ag doping region. If it is assumed that the composition ratio of As and S is not changed by Ag doping, the composition ratio of the Ag doping region is ??. The speed of the photodoping process depends strongly on the temperature and the irradiated photon energy. However the Ag concentration(??) is found to be always constant. This Ag concentration is also assured by the analysis of the plasma emission spectroscopy for Ag and As. From the observation of the change of the thickness of the photodoped layer on the variation of the irradiated photon energy and time the photodoped layer on the variation of the irradiated photon energy and time the photodoping process seems to consist of two stages. The process of the 1st stage is put under the control mainly by the photon having the energy lower than the energy gap Eg and the process of the 2nd stage is put under the control mainly by the photon with the energy higher than Eg.

        The puritans in England prospered between 1640 and 1660 since their first appearance in the late 16th century. The Puritan Revolution under the Stuart dynasty in the 17th century was led by the puritans who were discontent with the contemporary English church. They wanted the reform of the conventional church system and they put strict emphasis on moral ethics and thrift in secular life as well is in a religious one as the basic principles of living. Their mottoes were against the feudalistic norm which could be described as extravagance as one of its main attributes. The puritans demanded the freedom to choose their own religion and they shared common characteristics in favoring “civil liberty” and simple living with practicing sincere worship. This thesis focuses on the king's policy on religion with the rise of the puritans in the 16th and 17th centuries. The puritans of England, between 1558 and 1660, shared 4 common characteristics as follows: First, they were deeply discontent with the English national church's attitude toward reform and Roman Catholic's interpretation of the Bible; Second, aforementioned discontent stemmed from individual's personal experience of sincere religious practice; Third, the personal experience of religion was expressed in terms of simplifying church' cereminial dresses, worship and a way of life in general; Fourth, the puritans employed contractual theology to systemize their religious experience understand Christian religion.

      • 벼 담수골표면산파 재배의 파종방법 및 효과

        담수골 표면산파시 안정입모 확보를 위한 파종 골거리와 깊이 및 파종전 후 물 관리 등에 따른 효과 및 주요 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. <적정 골거리 및 골깊이 구명> 1. ㎡당 입모수는 128-168개로 골 깊이 및 골거리에 관계없이 충분한 입모수가 확보되었고, 골내 입모율은 골거리 10㎝, 골깊이 8㎝에서 가장 높았고, 골 형성 정도는 골 거리 15㎝, 골 깊이 8㎝에서 비교적 양호하였다. 2. ㎡당수수는 각각 384∼428개로 처리간에는 뚜렷한 경향이 없었고, 수당립수는 76∼88개로 골거리가 깊을수록 적었고, 등숙율은 77.3∼84.6%로 골 거리간에는 차이가 없었으나 골 깊이간에는 깊을수록 높았다. 3. 담수골표면산파시 쌀 수량은 451∼534㎏/10a로 담수표면산파 448/㎏ 대비 1∼19% 증수되었고, 골 거리 15㎝, 골 깊이 8㎝에서 쌀 수량이 가장 높았다. 4. 담수골표면산파는 담수표면산파에 비해 줄기 매몰심이 깊고 포장 도복피해 정도는 골 깊이가 깊을수록 적었고 담수표면산파는 완전도복 되었다. <골형성후 파종상태 구명> 1. 골 형성정도는 양호하였으며, 종자몰림 및 부묘 정도는 거의 없었고, 골 내입모율은 68∼74%로 산파를 하였으나 어느 정도 조파형태로 입모 되었으며, ㎡당 입모수는 123개였음. 2. 줄기매몰심은 1.6∼2.2㎝로 깊게 매몰되었으며, 포장도복은 거의 없었으나 담수표면산파에서는 심한 도복현상을 보였다. 3. ㎡당수수 및 수당립수는 담수표면산파와 비슷하였으나 등숙율은 82%로 담수표면산파 77%보다 높았으며 쌀 수량은 515㎏/10a으로 담수표면산파 460/㎏ 대비 12% 증수되었다. 4. 농가 현지적응 3개지역 평균 ㎡당 입모수는 144개, 골내 입모율은 75.2%, 줄기 매몰심은 2.0㎝였고, ㎡당 수수는 373개로 기계이앙보다 11개가 많았고, 완전 미율 및 10a 당 백미 수량은 각각 95.8%, 578㎏으로 기계이앙과 비슷하였으며, 식미치는 77%로 기계이앙과 같았다. 5. 따라서 담수골표면산파시의 적정골거리 15㎝, 골깊이 8㎝로 제작된 작조기를 무논정지기에 부착하여 골형성후 파종작업을 했을 때 기존 담수표면산파보다 입모확보가 용이하고 새피해 및 도복피해 경감과 함께 안정 수량확보가 유리한 기술로 생각됨. This experiments was carried out to investigated cultivation effects of water wet furrow broadcasting seeding, a simple and cheap seeding furrow maker, which facilitates rice seeding and addresses lodging problem in water seeding rice was developed. The furrow maker with 432㎝ in length and 20㎝ in width was attached right after the rotary for furrow making. Before seed sowing , puddled soil is hardened for 4∼6 days and seeding furrow is prepared with the furrow maker and than the power duster is used to broadcast the pregerminated seeds. The water wet furrow broadcasting seeding was found to be stable in seedling stand by uniform seed sowing as well as in the reduction of seedling floating and high percentage of inner furrow seedling stand with 68∼74% by water wave movements : resulting to enhanced seedling furrow formation, wind pass, and light penetration. This method also ameliorates lodging problem by burying rice culm 1.6∼2.2㎝ deep as compared with conventional water seeding. Because of such factors, the milled rice yield was increased 1∼19% compared with conventional water seeding with 515㎏/10a.

        저칼슘식이 생쥐 하악골에서 파골세포의 Tartrate저항성 산성인산분해효소 활성에 대한 세포화학적 연구

        The present study was carried out to exanine the morphological changes and TRACP (Tartrate resistant acid phosphatase) activity in the resorption of mandibular bones of mouses resulted, established by low calcium diet. Mice were divided into two groups; one was the calcein group for fluorescent microscopy, the other was the non-calcein group for light and electron microscopy. After calcein injection, mice(ICR) were fed either a low calcium diet (0.01% Ca, 0.75% P) or control diet (0.1% Ca. 0.75% P). Non-calcein group were also fed a low calcium diet or control diet. Mice were sacrificed on 3, 7 and 14 days. For fluorescent microscopy study, fixed undecalcified alveolar bones were embedded in Epon 812, and ground sectioned to study the new bone formation after calcein injection. For the TRACP histochemical study, fixed decalcified alveolar bones were incubated in p-NPP (p-nitrophenyl phosphate) media. For the transmission electron microscopic study, incubated alveolar bone were post fixed in OsO_(4), embedded with Epon 812 for the study of TRACP localzation and activity. The observed results were as follows. 1. Low calcium diet induced bone resorption in buccal and lingual sides of alveolar bone, while the lingual side of alveolar bone was not resorbed in the control group. Bone resorption increased over the period of low calcium diet. 2. The alveolar bone proper of the lingual alveolar bone continued to deposit new bone of the periodontal side even after the low calcium diet. 3. After low calcium diet TRACP activity increased in the cytoplasm of osteoclast, extracellular ruffled border. TRACP activity was also found at the eroded bone matrix after bone resorption, and in the cytoplasm of detached osteoclast. In the immature osteoclast enzyme activity was confined in rER. No enzyme activity was found in the osteoblast.

        CASTELNOUVO-MUMFORD REGULARITY OF GRADED MODULES HAVING A LINEAR FREE PRESENTATION

        In this paper we investigate the upper bound on the Castelnuovo-Mumford regularity of a graded module with linear free presentation. Let M be a finitely generated graded module over a polynomial ring R with zero dimensional support. We prove that if M is generated by elements of degree d  0 with a linear free presentation Mp R(−d − 1) ! Mq R(−d) ! M ! 0, then the Castelnuovo-Mumford regularity of M is at most d+q−1. As an important application, we can prove vector bundle technique, which was used in [11], [13], [17] as a tool for obtaining several remarkable results.

        노즐을 적용한 흡기 매니폴드의 배출가스 고찰

        Exhaust gas from the combustion of automobiles adversely affects the human body and even pollutes the atmosphere. This study investigated the influence of exhaust gas change on intake manifold using the nozzle. First, the flow analysis was performed using the 3D flow analysis program. When the nozzle inlet air velocity increased, the average air velocity in the nozzle diameters of Φ2.5 and Φ5 increased 37.3% and 31.9% respectively at the intake manifold outlet. As the nozzle inlet air velocity increased, the maximum flow rate of air increased to 42.2% and 32.6%, respectively at nozzle diameters of Φ2.5 and Φ5. In order to verify the analysis results, experiments on the exhaust gas were performed in the engine simulation system. As the nozzle inlet velocity increased, HC values decreased by 42.4% and 31.4% at nozzle diameters of Φ2.5 and Φ5, respectively. And CO values decreased by 40.7% and 31.1% at nozzle diameters of Φ2.5 and Φ5.
