Study on Hyunpil Lee's Spirituality and Figures That Influenced His Spirituality
Jang, Hyun 한국실천신학회 2011 신학과 실천 Vol.0 No.29
The purpose of this research is to provide implications for Christians who pursue spirituality that concurs with faith and lifestyle by probing into the life and spirituality of Hyunpil Lee, who is representative of Christian spirituality in the Honam area, and studying the people who influenced him Lee’s spirituality can be represented by nobleness, purity, martyrdom; he wished to follow the life of Jesus and he was most influenced by Sejong Lee. Heungjong Choi, Hyunbong Kim, Youngmo Yoo were also his mentors; Dongwan Hyun, Codington were Lee’s sharers in practicing love. In Lee’s teens, Naechongamsam led him to church, and nobleness, purity, martyrdom was enrooted by Sejong Lee. During his 20s, Heungjon Choi and Hyunbong Kim greatly influenced on Lee’s life direction and patterns of behavior. In his 30s and 40s, Lee became companions with Youngmo Yoo, who influenced more of Lee’s disciples while Dongwan Hyun and Codington were companions with Lee in sharing love. Other figures such as Soonmyung Kang, Sepyung Seo, Inse Jung, Bukwhan Oh, Choonsung Baek, Gyungsun Won also had an impact on Lee’s life. Hyunpil Lee’s life and community management principles were influenced by the above figures, especially Sejong Lee and Youngmo Yoo’s introvert self‐examination principle composes the primary principle. On the other hand, Heungjong and Codington’s outer self‐examination composes the secondary principle. Also, in the base, there is the grand proposition in concurrence of religion in the pattern of Naechongamsam and lifestyle.
Study on Ah-ra Jo’s Spirituality and Social Welfare Practice
Jang, Hyun 한국실천신학회 2012 신학과 실천 Vol.0 No.33
The purpose of this research is to look into the first female elder of Gwangju and the "mother of Gwangju" Sosimdang Ah-ra Jo's life and spirituality, process of spirituality formation, social welfare practice fields and content, and the meaning of social welfare practice. Ah-ra Jo's spirituality can be represented by love, justice, honesty, vocation, and leading by example and her life was based on trying to live like Jesus and practicing sharing and serving. Her spirituality and love was learned from her devout Christian father who shared with poor neighbors and vocation and justice from Florence E Root, Elisabeth Shepping and non-possession and honesty from Heung-jong Choi, Young-heum Baek, Joon-mook Lee, In-se Chung, and from the YWCA activities she learned to lead by example. For specific social welfare practice, Seongbin Yeosa was for socially isolated war orphans, Honam Yeosuk a night school for poor girls who couldn't attend middle school, and Gyemyung Yeosa for prostitute relief center, Byulbit Institute to teach Hangeul, family legal counseling center to protect rights for those who have been legally violated and had nowhere to appeal, and establishing the guiding condition indictment delay system to improve the reality of adolescents who are stigmatized for trivial crimes. Ah-ra Jo's social welfare practice excludes the private management of social welfare institutions and establishes thorough publicness, client-based welfare practice rather than provider-based to enhance the pride of clients, the combination of social publicness and social service professionalism to obtain efficiency and professionalism of institution management, and has been evaluated that the facility-based protection has been elevated to a rights movement based on the clients.

Fabricating a surveyed prosthesis beneath an existing partial removable dental prosthesis (PRDP) is a challenging and time-consuming procedure. The computer-aided design/computer-assisted manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology was applied to fabricate a retrofitted, surveyed zirconia prosthesis to an existing PRDP. CAD/CAM technology enabled precise and easy replication of the contour of the planned surveyed crown on the existing abutment tooth. This technology ensured excellent adaptation and fit of newly fabricated crown to the existing PRDP with minimal adjustments. In this case report, a seventy-year-old male patient presented with fractured existing surveyed crown. Because the existing PRDP was serviceable, new crown was fabricated to the existing PRDP.

Occasionally, complete dentures constructed in accord with the best clinical and laboratory procedures fail to serve successfully. These failures probably result from present ignorance of the occlusion and functions of living tissues. Nonetheless, in each case, the whole treatment procedure, both clinical and laboratory, must be reexamined in order to ascertain the point of failure. One can employ a technique more intelligently, and often improve on it, if the reasons for its use are known. When one is guided only by a recipe, the outcome will be doubtful whenever conditions are not the same as in the recipe. In this manuscript, occlusal consideration of edentulous patients will be discussed thoroughly.

Abstract

Retinoic acid-inducible gene I (RIG-I) recognizes double-stranded viral RNAs (dsRNAs) containing two or three 5′ phosphates. A few reports of 5′-PPP-independent RIG-I agonists have emerged, but little is known about the molecular principles underlying their recognition. We recently found that the bent duplex RNA from the influenza A panhandle promoter activates RIG-I even in the absence of a 5′-triphosphate moiety. Here, we report that non-canonical synthetic RNA oligonucleotides containing G-U wobble base pairs that form a bent helix can exert RIG-I-mediated antiviral and anti-tumor effects in a sequence- and site-dependent manner. We present synthetic RNAs that have been systematically modified to enhance their efficacy and we outline the basic principles for engineering RIG-I agonists applicable to immunotherapy.

Nowadays computer-guided “flapless” surgery for implant placement using templates is gaining popularity among clinicians and patients. The advantages of this surgical protocol are its minimally invasive nature, accuracy of implant placement, predictability, less post-surgical discomfort and reduced time required for definitive rehabilitation. Aim of this study is to describe the digital implant protocol, thanks to which is now possible to do a mini-invasive static guided implant surgery. This is possible thanks to a procedure named surface mapping based on the matching between numerous points on the surface of patient’s dental casts and the corresponding anatomical surface points in the CBCT data. With some critical points and needing an adequate learning curve, this protocol allows to select the ideal implant position in depth, inclination and mesio-distal distance between natural teeth and or other implants enabling a very safe and predictable rehabilitation compared with conventional surgery. It represents a good tool for the best compromise between anatomy, function and aesthetic, able to guarantee better results in all clinical situations.
