With a view to regulating proposals for model curricula by establishing the purpose and objectives of education for the department of physical therapy in technical colleges, and to proposing educational objectives and the syllabus on major subjects, we have conducted a comparative analysis of the proposals recommended by the World Confederation for Physical Therapy, those prescribed by the Department of welfare of Japan, model proposals of the Ministry of Education of Korea, and the current curricula and syllabus of local technical colleges, and obtained following conclusions: 1. The purpose of education of physical therapy has been established, which reads "The purpose of the education of physical therapy lies in teaching and studying the special knowledge and theories on the fields of health and medical treatment, practicing the treatment skills, and thus training physical therapists needed to promote the national health" and the objectives to achieve this purpose have been established as follows: (1) To foster such personality and character as needed as a democratic citizen, and to establish firm views of professional ethics. (2) To acquire expert knowledge and treatment skills with which to cope with the requirements of the rapidly growing fields of health and medical treatment. (3) To increase the capabilities to carry out physical therapists' duties effectively as health and medical treatment experts. 2. As to the compilation of curricula, the cultural courses have been divided into required subjects (16 credits) and elective subjects (more than 3 credits) for which more than 19credits(more than 23.75% of the credits required for graduation) must be completed, while the major courses have teen divided into the elementary subjects (12 credits), required subjects (20 credits), and elective subjects .(more than 29 credits), for which more than 61 credits (76.25% of the credits required for graduation). In particular, out of the elective subjects (29 credits), at least 15 credits must be completed for clinical training subjects (See Table 6). 3. The objectives of education by subject and the syllabus on major required subjects and clinical training subjects have been presented. (See Tables 7-13) 4. As results of comparative analysis of the subjects proposed by the World Confederation for Physical Therapy and those prescribed by the Ministry of Welfare of Japan, it is advisable to rearrange them gradually as four-year courses in order to improve special knowledge and treatment skills.
수직 냉각면이 있는 정방형내 성층유체의 열적거동에 관한 실험적 연구

This study was investigated by experimentals on the thermal behavior of stratified fluids in the square cavity with the vertical cooling surface by variation of initial temperature and cooling surface temperature and concluded as follows: 1. When the cooling surface temperature of the square cavity was -4℃. the supercooling phenomena was occurred every times regardless initial temperature of fluids and when -6℃ freezing was begun with out supercooling phenomena. 2. The higher the initial temperature was, the longer supercooling phenomena duration was, and the longer the supercooling phnomena was, the higher the temperature of the upper fluids was. 3. When the supercooling phenomena of water was occurred, the rate of temperature decrease of silicon oil was higher and when there was no supercooling phenomena, it was almost same the rate of temperature decrease.
장방형내 저온 단일 수평 원관 주위의 동결현상에 관한 실험적 연구

An experimental study on water in a rectangular cavity with a horizontal cooling tube was carried out to investigate the flow character and thermal behavior in the system. Each experiment was performed with variation of initial temperature and cooling tube temperature. When the cooling tube temperature was -4℃, the supercooling phenomenon was observed regardless of the initial water temperature. And the case of cooling tube temperature was -6℃ with initial temperature was below 4℃, the supercooling phenomenon was also observedin the large region of the test section. When the cooling tube temperature was -10℃, the local region of supercooling phenomenon was observed during the freezing process. And the higher initial temperature was, the higher supercooling degree and the less difference of the ice thickness between upward and downward was observed. It is shown that by controllingthe supercooling phenomena and the cooling tube temperature, it would lead to an increase efficiency of ice making.
A Contention Access Mechanism Based on a Partitioned Contention Access Period in IEEE 802.15.4 MAC

<P>In the contention access period (CAP) of IEEE 802.15.4 beacon-enabled mode, collision probability increases, and network performance decreases as the number of contending devices increases. In this paper, we propose an enhanced contention access mechanism (ECAM) to reduce the collision probability in low rate — wireless personal area networks (LR-WPANs). In ECAM, since the duration of each CAP is divided into multiple sub-CAPs, the number of devices contending for frame transmissions in each sub-CAP can be reduced by approximately one over the number of sub-CAPs. Further, this lowers the probability of collision due to two or more simultaneous frame transmissions. In addition, since ECAM shortens the channel access duration of devices, devices with ECAM have lower power consumption. To compare the performance of ECAM with that of the IEEE 802.15.4 standard, we carry out extensive simulations. The results show that ECAM yields better performance than the IEEE 802.15.4 standard, especially for dense networks with a heavy traffic load.</P>
