Radiofrequency ablation(RFA), as a form of minimally invasive therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma, has become an important treatment modality. Because of limitation of surgery, RFA has become standard therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma in some situations. But there are some complications of RFA such as bleeding, infection, hematoma, adjacent organ thermal damage including intestinal perforation, needle track seeding, and so on. There are few reports in the literature that systematically evaluate the incidence of needle tract seeding and its associated risk factors. And only 2 cases of needle tract seeding of hepatocellular carcinoma after RFA were reported in Korea. We report a case of needle tract seeding of hepatocellular carcinoma after RFA.

A Study on Introduction to Private Investigation System and Direction Through Predicting Demand

In Korea, private investigation business had been called as Heungsineop but it changed to messenger center from 1970s. Foreign private investigation agencies have started to run business as crisis management agency, consulting agency after Korea joined OECD in 1996. foreign private investigation agencies are still growing illegally by using similar names to private investigation business and today, these are covered doing illegal acting like shadowing, phone-tapping, even contract through media sources. Today, according to statistical data by the National Police Agency late 2012, messenger agencies are around 1574 in domestic and 939 of those are in the metropolitan area. Illegal types are uncovered as investigating personal life 27(68%), personal information offering 7(18%), location tracing 5(12%), illegal claim collection 1(2%) plus, clients for these company are uncovered as housewife 196(34%), company employee 152(27%), independent businessman 78(14%), profession 35(6%). Correctly present situation and dispersion of domestic private investigation businesses like security company because private investigation system has not been enacted in domestic, until now. Thus, this study try to analyze demand of private investigation for a proposal in legislation process which is pending in 19th assembly like Yun Jae-Ok's 「All Amendments Private Security Act」 and Song Young-Geun's 「Private Invstigation Act」 so we expect to that private investigation system is introduced to Korea as soon as possible.

E. M. Forster says death is congenial to a novelist because it ends a book conveniently. However, death in Henry James's works is more than formal device and has to do with the quintessence of James's thought. This thesis is to study the meaning of death in James's novels by analyzing his two tales "Daisy Miller" and "The Pupil." The Roman society criticises Daisy for her innocent but ignorant 'going round' with Giovanelli. Daisy ignores all the public opinion on her of the society. Adventurous, full of life, Daisy Miller captivates and perpelexes Winterbourne, who devotes all his energy to finding the correct formula to describe this young American. Seeing her alone with Giovanelli at the Colosseum, he is with a relief for her being a young lady whom a gentleman no longer be at pains to respect. Then he deliberately visibly her. Winterboune's failure to understand and to offer his esteem destroys Daisy's will to live. Roman fever only does her mind's bidding. Morgan in "The Pupil" is one of the characters whom it is impossible to regard except in the light of death. The studies of "The Pupil"have been centered upon finding out the responsibility of adults for the death of Morgan. The most responsible is Pemberton who promised Morgan to escape from his parents together but didn't keep it with no reason. Pemberton's wavering and scruple makes sensitive Morgan greatly disappointed. Morgan just can't stand the shock and the violent emotion with his infirmity. By seeing into the chaos of self that is his world, Morgan has gained the ultimate vision and has been destroyed by it. Thus what Korenman says in the follow well summrizes the meaning of death in James's works. It is through the mind that James's characters reach out for "experience," for "life." But the world continually proves gross and sinister. Observing that life in inadquate to their vision of it, James's characters retreat to that ideal vision. Frequently, However, such retreat is not enough. When the mind is sufficiently sensitive, the only effective retreat is often death. The major Jamesian vehicle of experience--the mind-- becomes the major instrument of escape from experience. Indeed, physical death in James is simply the impulse in extreme form, the renunciation of life.

고사리뿌리 전분의 이화학적인 특성연구의 일환으로 실시된 물리적 특성시험 결과는 다음과 같다. 전분입자의 미구조의 결합력을 보기 위한 흡수도, 팽운력, 용해도 시험결과 감자전분이나 타피오카전분보다 강한 결합을 하고 있으며 곡류전분보다는 약하며 팽윤력이 single-stage pattern을 이루고 있었다. 가열에 의한 전분입자의 복굴절성 상실, α-아밀라아제에 의한 소화성 및 X-선 회절둥으로 전분의 호화과정을 살펴본 결과 55-60℃에서 호화가 시작되고 60~70℃에서는 95%이상 호화되었다. 또한 3~6%전분용액의 가열에 따른 점도변화를 amyl-ograph를 사용하여 실험한 결과 pasting temperature 62~68℃, 최고점도 80~840BU, 50℃로 냉각후의 점도는 110~555BU였다. 따라서 다른 전분에 비해서 점도가 낮으나 setback이 현저히 느렸다. 수분함량 50%의 전분겔의 경도는 팥 전분보다는 약하고 감자나 밀전분에 비해서는 현저히 높았다. 전분겔의 저장중 노화속도는 밀 전분보다는 느리고 파지오카 전분보다는 빨랐다. 고사리뿌리 전분은 팥 전분겔특성에 큰 변화를 주지않지만 노화를 억제하였고 밀 전분겔에 첨가시에는 겔의 경도가 저하되어 부드러워지는 경향을 보였다. The gelatinization phenomena of bracken root starch were examined by means of the loss of birefringence, degree of digestibility by amylase and X-ray diffraction. These results indicated that gelatinization temperature of the starch was 55∼60℃ and over 95% of starch were gelatinized at the temperature between 60 and 70℃. The swelling power of the bracken root starch was much less steeper than that of potato or tapioca starch. Amylograph data on the various starch concentrations showed the pasting temperature of 62∼68℃, peak height of 80∼840 Brabender unit (BU) and peak after cooling to 50℃ of 110∼555 BU. According to the information obtained from amylograph data, the bracken root starch showed low set back. The rate of retrogradation of the starch as tested by Texturometer was slower and faster than potato and tapioca starches, respectively.

Henry James is said to be a writer of 'psycho realism' because he, on the basis of realistic view, takes a great interest in the inner life of man. The reason why James has such a deep interest in the inner life is that he thinks the reality of human nature exists in it and the description of man's psychological status is the best way to represent his own sense of value. Daniel Schneider says that James's works examine the cages, hooks and traps employed by the enslaving world. He also says all of the subsidiary themes of James's works may be viewed in relation to this central idea. So it can be said that James's morality also has to do with the 'enslaving world'. In James's moral world;, compulsion and interference to a man is evil while the growth of personality without being intervened is his best good. The growth of personality is accomplished by "being" which means to take part in the objective world and also by "seeing" that means to perceive what "being" means. Washington Square is one of James's first psychological novels, and in it, James's morality is well displayed. Both Dr. Sloper and Mrs. Penniman manipulate and tamper with Catherine, so she is frustrated at the stage of "being". Dr. Sloper intervenes with the thought that he has a right to Catherine's welfare and that he is quite just. Mrs. Penniman is a woman of powerful imagination and she urges and enforces Catherine to do as she wants to because she seeks a vicarious satisfaction in Catherine's love affair with Morris. With the manipulation and tampering of Dr. Sloper and Mrs. Penniman, Catherine is not only frustrated in "being", but receives a fatal mental wound that makes her life wither forever.

CPPU유도 참다래 단위결과 과실의 특성

This study was designed to find out an alternative to artificial pollination in kiwifruit production. The parthenocarpic kiwifruits induced by (N-2-chloro-4-pyridyl)-N-phenyl urea (CPPU) treatment tended to be less attractive due to deep furrowing and excessive outgrowth of stigma in mature fruits. Especially, on flower buds after CPPU spray, severe fruit-drop was induced. It was considered enough to spray CPPU at more than 4ppm to attain sufficient fruit set but needed to spray CPPU at more than 16ppm to attain marketable fruit size. When CPPU at 16ppm was sprayed to the same flower once, twice or three time, the fruits received CPPU treatment more time was larger but less attractive. Application of CPPU mare than at 16ppm seemed to be necessary to produce fruits heavier than 80 gr. Enlargement of the fruits received CPPU treatment mainly occurred cross wisely and vertical development was not affected and thickening of outer pericarp primarily contributed to the fruit enlargement. Difference in flesh color or contents of vitamin C and sugars between control fruits and CPPU-treated fruits was not noticed. In conclusion, CPPU treatment to induce parthenocarpic kiwifruits could be commercially applicable, only the method for improving fruit appearance is worked out.

人蔘多糖類의 理化學的 特性에 關한 硏究 : 人蔘貯藏加工中 澱粉의 理化學的 特性變化 Change of physicochemical properties of the starch during storage and heat treatment

In order to investigate the change of physicochemical properties of ginseng root starch during storage and heat treatment. the roots were stored for 15 days at 5℃, 15℃, 30℃ and 45℃, and heated for 15 hours at 60℃, 70℃, 80℃, 90℃, respectively. The starch content was decreased from about 40% to 23-26% and sucrose content was increased from 4% to 12-16% during storage for 15 days at 5-45℃. Maltose, which was not detected in fresh samples, was increased upto 8.5% during storage or heat treatment. Granular size of the starch was decreased and some of the granules were broken during storage. Amylose content in the starch was decreased from 33% to 20%, and blue value and alkali number of the starch were increased slightly, and solubility and swelling power of the starch were decreased during storage. The higher storage temperature and the longer storage time, the starch was more susceptible to gelatinize, and the viscosity of the starch was lowered with the susceptibility of gelatinization. The susceptibility of degradation of the starch by the amylase was increased and amylolytic activities in ginseng root were, also, increased during storage.

豆乳製造에 關한 硏究 : 浸淸條件이 豆乳品質에 미치는 영향

In order to investigate the effect of soaking conditions on the quality of soy milk, soy milk was prepared by soaking-grinding-centrifuging-sterilizing-bottling. The results obtained were as follows. The higher temperature of the soaking water, the more of water was absorbed, and decrease of water absorption with increase in pH. And more of protein and total solids were leached out with increase in temperature and pH of soaking water. When the soy milk was prepared under the soaking condition of higher pH and temperature, it contained more total solid, protein, fat and minerals and less carbohydrates. Among the minerals, more potassium, iron, calcium, and magnesium and less phosporous existed in the soy milk prepared by the same condition. The viscosity of soy milk was high when it was prepared by soaking condition of higher temperature and pH. The emulsion of soy milk was most stable at pH 7.0-7.6 and stable when it prepared under the soaking condition of pH 9.5-10.5 at l00℃, pH 10.5 at 25℃ and pH 11.5 at 4℃, respectively.
