        논문(論文) : 조선후기 울릉도 수토제 운용의 실상

        Jurisdictional Operation of Inspection of Ulrungdo During the Late Chosun Dynasty Bae, Jae-hong [Abstract] Jurisdictional operation of Inspection of Ulrung-do was officially adopted as the governmental policy in 1694 and was stipulated by law in 1697 and 1698. Based upon this policy, the inspection on this island was conducted every three years with Samcheokchumsa and Wolsongmanho in a full charge alternately. But this inspection cycle was reduced to every two years from the late 18th century, and Samcheokchumsas were exclusively dispatched as the inspectors during the time the inspectors were assigned to a special mission of gathering ginseng. This jurisdictional operation of inspection continued until 1984 even though it had not been performed on a strict regular basis. The inspection team consisted of approximately 80 people of diverse fields needed for sailing and inspection operation under the command of the chief inspector. The inspection was normally performed in April and May, the season that the wind was rather mild, and it took from as short as two days to as long as 17 days. After the 19th century, the inspection team departed at the seaport of Gumijin in a fleet of four navy ships rented from Gyngsang-do with 80-suk of rice loaded. The preparation of manpower and material resources needed for this operation became a heavy burden to Yeongdong officials and general people. Villages in Yeongdong were forced to bear food provisions of as much as 80-suk of rice; in addition, they were demanded to provide with materials for ship building or machinery for sailing. What`s more, they took the burden of all the expenses of rooms, meals or receptions incurred from the time inspection team was preparing for depart. During the inspection period, the seaside villages of Yeongdong were also assigned to be on sentry.

        In recent years, gonorrhea has been pandemic and remains one of the most common STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of Penicillinase Producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae(PPNG), we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the Venereal Disease Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by menas of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. In 1998, 93 strians of N. genorrhoeae were isolated, among which 60(64.5%) were PPNG. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul, which had been decreased to 39% in 1996 after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, is increased to 64.5% in 1998.

        This paper presents a primary study for a new method of enhancing measurement using impedance analysis method, which is widely used for structure health monitoring. Many of skyscrapers, bridges, tunnels, which have been built up several years, and nearly reached their operating life due to aging crack, material deterioration, and so on. therefore, the health monitoring technique has obtained considerable attention. The goal of this research is to show basic information to evaluate structural health condition using piezoelectric sensors. The piezoelectric materials have various merits. It is easy to shape various forms and can be embedded on the materials more conveniently. Moreover, the excitation frequency can be changed and the piezoelectric sensors cost less. All these features make the piezoelectric-based system applicable to structural healthy monitoring. This work presents a study for the development of a practical and quantitative technique for assessment of the structural health condition by piezoelectric impedance-based technique associated with longitudinal wave propagation. To estimate the damage condition numerically, we suggest the evaluation method Cov (Covariance) and CC (Correlation Coefficient) in this paper.

        Critical role of bile acid (BA) in the cellular entry and permissiveness of Hepatitis B virus in vitro

        Background Lack of universal replication system for hepatitis B virus with narrow host range and organ tropism has hampered to uncover the pathogenesis of HBV. Previously, we reported the essentiality of humoral milieu and its components toward HBV and hepatitis C virus survival/viability in vitro. Of these components, the precise role of enterohepatic humoral milieu such as bile acid (BA) on HBV cultivation in vitro and in vivo is unknown. Objective We explored whether BA, specifically taurochenodeoxycholic acid (tCDCA) would directly regulate the viral DNA and surface antigen expression of HBV in vitro, consequently rendering HBV to enter into human or murine immortalized hepatocytes, and non-hepatocytes. Result We found that higher concentration of taurochenodeoxycholic acid (tCDCA) is able to preserve the genomic stability of HBV in cell-free DMEM, showing higher the surface antigenicity than taurocholic acid (tCA). In line, we found that in vitro cell culture condition (100 μmol/L of tCDCA coupled with 1 × 108 g e/mL HBV) would be optimal for HBV entry into target cells. Using this, human (HepG2, Huh7), and rodent (Hepa1c1c7, H4-II-E) hepatoma cell lines were infected by HBV, as evidenced by the presence of HBV biomarkers (HBsAg, and HBV DNA in culture supernatant, as well as HBcAg in cell). Further, cellular entry test revealed that HBV is able to infect 12 different non-hepatic cell lines regardless of species, and organ/tissue, consequently reproducing progeny as confirmed by HBV biomarkers. Last, reinfection test showed that the progenies of HBV from immortalized HepG2, and Hepa1c1c7 cells are able to enter into each or vice versa naïve HepG2, and Hepa1c1c7 cells with or without BA. Conclusion This study demonstrates that enterohepatic humoral milieu such as BA, specifically tCDCA would directly regulate HBV DNA and its surface antigen expression in vitro, consequently rendering HBV to enter into human or murine immortalized hepatocytes, and non-hepatocytes. This is the first note to render HBV permissive to human or rodent hepatic and non-hepatic cells via sole manipulation of humoral milieu, thus establishing the platform for in vitro robust replication system of HBV.

        홍해성의 무대예술론 고찰

        The dramatic theory of Hae-Sung Hong, which collectively shows the conformity with Stanislavski system, shall be appropriately evaluated when it is regarded as his self-reliant realistic dramatic theory forming through his reflective thought of experience rather than the circuitous influence of Stanislavski system intermediating Osanai Kaoru. Hae-Sung Hong sets up a theory basing on his experience without any knowledge of substantial figure of Stanislavski system. Nevertheless, his achievement in practical awareness corresponds to the indispensable elements of Stanislavski system: improvisation, exchanging, ensemble, object, pause, sub-text, combination of behavior and speech, etc. He could not wholly detect the organic relatedness of those elements. But it is thoroughly more difficult to comprehend it than to know basic concepts of the system. Even with this limitation, the amazing result comes into view. It is natural, due to his aim at realism theatre, that his dramatic theory has common characteristics with the system. Reducing his th! eory as a by-product is out of the question. Yet an influence of the system cannot be overlooked. Just too extreme focusing on this ought to be avoided. To discriminate between his own achievement and the influence needs a elaborate work. Stanislavski system provided him of the source for defined awareness of realistic stage-originated art rather than submitted him under its influence as practical acting method. Hence his theory has the conformity with Stanislavski system.

      • 지방과 도시인의 交通手段 利用實態 및 態度 比較硏究

        지방과 도시인의 도로교통 이용실태 및 태도 조사 결과를 보고하였다. 지방을 대표하는 지역으로 경상남도 거창읍을, 그리고 도시는 서울특별시 강남구 대치동을 선정하였고, 각 지역에서 800명(400 부부쌍)의 무선표본을 대상으로 질문지로 조사하였다. 조사내용을 출퇴근 길의 교통수단이용, 외출시의 교통수단이용, 자가용의 이용및 소유실태, 운전면허 소지 및 취득실태, 교통사고경험, 대중교통수단에 대한 평가 및 관련 태도 등이었다. 조사결과, 도시와 지방간의 현재의 교통수단 이용에서의 차이를 파악할 수 있었을 뿐 아니라, 후속연구에서 교통수단이용의 변화를 평가할 수 있는 기저선이 마련되었다. Two representative samples of married couples. one(n=400 couples) from Dae-Chi Dong in Seoul and another(n=400 couples) from the town of Ku-Ch'ang in South Kyung-sang Province were studied through a questionnaire. The questionnaire dealt with (1)transportation uses in commuting to work (2)transportation uses on weekends. (3)types of automobiles owned and the uses to which they are put. (4)statistics related to obtaining and possessing driver licenses. (5)experience of traffic accidents, and (6)attitudes regarding the public trasportations and policies. The study as designed to provide a baseline for future studies on the transportation statistics as well as gauging the urban-rural difference in automobile culture.

      • 장거리 해저 광전송망 분산보상 설계 및 구현

        현재 국내.외 기간 통신망은 급격히 증가하는 고속 대용량 트래픽을 효율적으로 멀리 전송하기 위해 광증폭기를 이용한 파장분할다중화방식 (DWDM:Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) 광전송 시스템 통신망을 구축하고 있다. DWDM광전송 시스템에서 고속, 대용량 및 장거리 전송을 하기 위해서는 기존 3R 광 중계기시스템에서 크게 중요시 않았던 광 fiber의 비선형(non-linearity) 전송제약 요소를 고려하여 통신망을 설계하여야 한다. 광통신망에서 장거리 전송 시 신호펄스 파형의 왜곡을 최소화하기 위해 영분산(zero-dispersion)을 구현하여야 하지만, 영분산으로 인하여 파이버의 비선형 현상이 나타나 신호 스펙트럼 왜곡 현상이 발생하는 문제가 있다. 즉 영 분산과 파이버의 비선형 사이에 서로 상충관계를 해결하여야 고속 대용량 트랙픽을 장거리 전송할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 DWDM 해저 광 통신망에서 고속 대용량 트래픽을 장거리 전송하기 위한 기술을 알아보고, 영분산과 파이버의 비선형 사이에 상충문제를 해결 위한 분산관리 기법을 소개하고, 실제한국-홍콩간 해저 광통신 구간에서 분산 맵 (dispersion map)을 설계 구현하였다. Currently, Most of the Backhual and Submarine s networks are being installed using DWDM and EDFA to deal with dramatically increasing internet traffic. In a conventional type optical system, the so-called 3R repeater, fiber non- linearity was not significant factor but it is one of the most important consideration when designing new DWDM network based on the EDFAs. To minimize the signal pulse distortion in long-haul optical network, Zero-dispersion fiber is indispensable but causes the fiber non-linearity. Therefore this conflicting problems should be managed to transmit a high-speed capacity traffic. In this paper, key technologies in DWDM submarine optic network were found out for a high capacity traffic and introduced the dispersion management way for solving the conflicting problems between Zero-dispersion and non-linearity. Lastly designed a dispersion map in section between Korea and Hong-kong.
