        악관절 융기 증강술을 통한 습관성 악관절 탈구환자의 치험례

        Recurrent mandibular dislocation is frequent morbidity of temporomandibular joint relatively. There are many etiologic causes in TMJ disorders but, difficult to find obvious one. Various treatment methods have been utilized for a mandibular dislocation. It is categorized into two groups broadly - nonsurgical or surgical methods. The basic rationale of the surgical method is to allow free movement of the condyle by reducing height of articular eminence or to limit anterior excessive movement of the condyle by increasing height of articular eminence or soft tissue anchoring procedure. In this case, 69 year-old woman was treated by augmentation of the articular eminence with mandibular symphysial bone graft leading to osteosynthesis without difficulty. As a result, favorable postoperative outcome was obtained functionally without any complication or recurrence.

      • 신제도주의와 부정부패 통제 전략

        부정부패는 국가경쟁력을 약화시킬 뿐만 아니라, 사회 발전에 걸림돌이 되고 있다. 그동안 이승만 정권이후 부패 통제를 위한 각종 정책들이 수행되었으나, 제도적으로 통제되었다고 보기 어렵다. 본 연구는 부정부패를 통제할 수 있는 전략을 신제도주의 입장에서 찾도록 노력하였다. 신제도주의에 따르면, 제도는 인간 행위를 제약하기도 하지만, 반복된 행위들로 인해 제도가 재형성되기도 한다. 또한 제도는 단지 법과 규정에 의해서만 이루어지는 것이 아니라 문화, 윤리, 도덕, 이념 등 비공식적 측면도 중요한 의미를 가진다. 이런 의미에서 볼 때, 부패 행위가 올바른 제도에 의해 통제되지 않으면, 부패 문화를 형성하기 되고, 부패 행위는 고착화, 생활화되는 병리 현상으로 남게 된다. 부패 현상을 올바르게 통제하기 위해서는, 부패가 공직자 등 일부 계층에 의해서만 발생하는 것으로 인식해서는 안되며, 그 주체도 정부에 한정해서는 안된다. 이제 부패가 사회전반에 나타난 병리현상인 만큼, 해결 방법은 정당성을 가진 제도에서 찾아야 한다. 부패 현상을 제도적으로 통제하기 위해, 현재 시행되고 있는 부패 통제 정책을 제도의 주체와 실체로 구분하여 살펴본 결과, 부패 통제를 위해 필요한 전략은 현행처럼 선일부추구 후문제보완이 아닌 일시적·종합적이라야 한다는 결론에 도달하였다. 이러한 전략에 따라, 본 연구는 부패통제 전담 기구를 설치할 것과 정-재-사 합동 자문기구를 설치할 것 그리고 부패통제 제도를 보다 엄격하게 적용하기 위해 부패 처벌 시효 삭제, 부패 신고 포상제 등을 제안하고 있다. Corruption not only decreases its national competition, but also has been the chief obstacle to social development in Korea. Since 1960, a lot of policies have been used to control corruption, but critics say that a political leadership, not a systematic mechanism, controlled it. This study tries to find strategies to control corruption in the point of view of the new institutionalism. According to the new institutionalism, an institution restricts a humans action. At the same time, however, a repeated action makes an institution. The new institutionalism also says that an institution is settled down in regulation and/or law and is shaped in informal activities of cultures, ethics, morals, ideology, etc. Hence if an institution wants to make people be of a good behavior, it should be formed under the point of view of the new institutionalism Corruption currently occurs in all fields of society in Korea. It has become a systemic, gigantic, structural phenomenon, and government alone cannot remove all problems with corruption. Corruption needs to be controlled under the point of view of the new institutionalism; otherwise, it builds up the corrupted culture, where people do not feel guilty about their corrupted practices. This study evaluated the current policies controlling corruption under the point of view of the new institutionalism. It came to a conclusion that corruption has to be controlled by applying strict rules, not by acting and making up solutions. Under the strategy of applying strict rules, the study suggests following ideas: establishing an institution solely responsible for corruption, establishing an advisory committee including representatives from the government, entrepreneur, and non-governmental organizations, deleting the statute of limitations for corrupted actions, and giving enough rewards to a whistle-blower.

        Vision System을 이용한 PCB 검사 매칭 알고리즘

        According as the patterns of PCB (Printed Circuit Board) became denser and complicated, quality and accuracy of PCB influence the performance of final product. It's attempted to obtain trust of 100% about all of parts. Because human inspection in mass-production manufacturing facilities are both time-consuming and very expensive, the automation of visual inspection has been attempted for many years. Thus, automatic visual inspection of PCB is required. In this paper, we used an algorithm which compares the reference PCB patterns and the input PCB patterns are separated an object and a scene by filtering and edge detection. And than compare two image using pattern matching algorithm. We suggest an defect inspection algorithm in PCB pattern, to be satisfied low cost, high speed, high performance and flexibility on the basis of 640×480 binary pattern.

        구강악안면 영역의 치성 감염 환자에 대한 세균학적 연구

        Oral & maxillofacial infections are most commonly odontogenic in origin. Although such infections are usually self-limiting, they may occasionally spread deeply into fascial spaces or planes far from the initial site of involvement. If early diagnosis and appropriate therapy is delayed, complications such as mediastinal extension, retropharyngeal spread and airway obstruction could happen to the patients. For the study of the microbiology, we have retrospectively analysed the oral & maxillofacial infected patients in the Dept. of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, In-Ha University Hospital from 1997 September to 2000 April. The results were as follows 1.The male patients were more common than female, with male 61.9% and female 38.1%. 2.Dental originated infections were most common cause with the incidence of 62%. 3.Most common fascial space involved was buccal space 42cases(37.2%) followed by submandibular space 13cases(11.5%), infraorbital space 13cases(11.5%), masseteric space 11cases(9.7%) , periapical abscess 11cases(9.7%) . 4.The causative organisms isolated from the pus culture were Gram Positive Bacterial species, which were 46cases(31.9%) of Streptococcus viridans, 16cases(8.6%) of α and β-hemolytic streptococcus, 4cases(3.1%) of Strep.-group D non enterococci, 7cases(5.1%) of Staphylococcus Coa. Neg., 5cases(3.9%) of Staphylococcus aureus, 3cases(2.3%) of Enterococcus faecalis, 1case(0.8%) of Bacillus species, 1case(0.8%) of Peptostreptococcus, 1case(0.8%) of Clostridium and Gram negative bacterial species, which were 4cases(3.1%) of Acinetobacter baumannii, 2cases(1.6%) of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, 2cases(1.6%) of Burkholderia cepacia, 1case(0.8%) of Neisseria species, 1case(0.8%) of Klebsiella pneumoniae, 1case(0.8%) of Klebsiella oxytoca, 1case(0.8%) of Escherichia coli. 5.In drug sensitivity test, high resistant tendency was found in Penicillin system(Penicillin G 83.3%, Ampicillin 60%) and Aminoglycosides (Gentamycin 50%, Tobramycin 45.5%), but tertiary Cephalosporin system(Cefoperazone 9.1%, Ceftazidime 18.2%), and glycopeptides system (Teicoplanin 0% , Vancomycin 0%) showed lower resistancy.

        Counters for various kinds of bank notes require high-speed distinctive point extraction and recognition for notes. In this paper we propose a new point extraction and data extraction method from specific parts of a bank note representing the same color. The recognition algorithm uses a back-propagation neural network that has coordinate data input. The proposed algorithm is designed to minimize recognition time.

      • 光波長이 오이(Cucumis sativus L.) 플러그苗의 生長에 미치는 影響

        This research was carried to find out the optimum artificial light condition for plug seedling production of high quality cucumber through investigating growth response of the seedling by both light wave length and treatment period. The treatment with blue and red fluorescent lamp increased the fresh weight involving hypocotyl and root and controlled the elongation of hypocotyl, compared with other treatments. The 30-day-old seedling treatment with blue and red light for 12 hours showed that vegetative growth including root, stem and leaves was better than that of seedling treated with other lamps. Seedling under blue and red light for 12 hours grew 60.0mm and 0.55g in length and weight of hypocotyl. respectively, Hypocotyl length and weight were 44.9mm and 0.62g when seedling was grown under above light condition for 6 hours. Total chlorophyll contents of hypocotyl were highest in the light mixing treatment, and this accelerated greening. Morphological characteristics by investigating cross and longitudinal section of 30-day-old cucumber seedling treated with the mixing fluorescent lamps indicated that epidrmis tissues were usually single layer and thicker, resulting in small, compact and non-intercellular spaces of cells. On the other hand, epidermis tissues of the control composed of large, longer and round cells and cortex tissues showed large intercellular spaces between cells. Longitudinal section of photo-treated hypocotyl showed that there were more shorter cells and non-intercellular spaces of cells than untreated tissues. As a result, blue and red light mixing treatment controled the cell elongation of seedling hypocotyl, resulting in shortening hypocotyl of cucumber seedling.
