1. Objectives: This study was performed to research the relationship between Sasang Constitutional medicine and Hyungsang medicine. 2. Methods: Four hundred and thirty applicants are involved in this study. They are devided into Sasang Constitution and Hyungsang Classification 3. Results and Conclusions: There are significances between Sasang Constitutional diagnosis and Hyungsang Classification. There are significantly more Bangkwang-body, Gi-kwa, Taeyang-hyung, Yangmyung-hyung in Taeyangin and Bangkwang-body, Jung-kwa, Soyang-hyung, Yangmyung-hyung in Soyangin. There are significantly more Dam-body, Gi-kwa, Taeyang-hyung, Yangmyung-hyung in Taeeumin and Bangkwang-body, Gi-kwa, Taeyang-hyung, Yangmyung-hyung in Soeumin.

박정희 대통령과 드골 대통령의 리더십 비교 연구 : 데이비드 거겐의 리더십모델을 중심으로

본 논문은 데이비드 거겐의 7가지 리더십 모델을 이용하여 프랑스 드골 대통령의 리더십과 박정희 대통령의 리더십을 비교 분석한다. 인품(성품), 명확한 정책 목표 설정, 설득력, 국민, 국회, 언론과의 협력, 취임 즉시 정책 추진, 유능하고 신중한 참모 등용, 그리고 비전 창출 능력의 7가지 요소별로 두 지도자의 리더십을 분석하여 오늘날 글로벌 시대에 필요한 대통령의 리더십 덕목을 제시한다. 비전과 정책이 국민들로부터 지지를 받기위해서는 국민, 언론 그리고 국회와의 협력을 도모하며 정치적 성향, 빈부의 격차, 다양한 이해관계와 갈등을 관리할 수 있는 설득과 협상 능력이 있는 민주적 리더십의 덕목이 필요하다. 이런 민주적 리더십이란 비전과 정책의 목적 및 당위성 못지않게 그 정책의 집행 과정을 중시하는 것으로 본 논문은 정치의 이해 당사자들인 국민, 국회 및 언론과의 올바른 커뮤니케이션 능력을 강조한다. This study is a comparative analysis of presidential leadership based on the seven factors for successful presidential leadership developed by David Gergen. The leadership of President Park Jung Hee and President Charles De Gaulle was analyzed within the framework of the seven leadership qualities that a great president must have: personal integrity, a sense of mission, the ability to persuade, the ability to work with other politicians, a strong start after inauguration, skilled advisers, and the ability to inspire. This study argues that it is essential to have a democratic leadership with the ability to persuade and the ability to work with other politicians in order to better manage the differences in political positions, the gap between rich and poor, and conflicts among various interest groups. It also emphasizes the importance of communication skill with people, the national assembly, and media during the process of policy implementation.

The world is changing, Korea is in the middle of the road which is up to the development of culture industry, high profittable industry. The key words of culture industry are the movie ``Avatar`` and I-phone. ``Avatr`` is not simply the conventionally technical film, rather is a phenomenon for hybrid with cutural and technomogical values which is from technologies such as 3D, computer graphics, compositing, and virtual realities. Also, I-phone is not just a receiver, but a surprise as a portal for any contents within small pc, lap top, and game station. The creation of ``Avatar`` and I-phone has the fuction for developing the related culture industries. Their profitabilities are enormous. It has been a long time that The Korea has plunged into the competative market vying for forerunner in the line of digital industry or culture industry. But the question of this paper is whether the proper education is put on this area or not and then the purpose of this essay to pinpoint the blind spot, to anlalyse the cause, and to present the alternative to reality. The author doesn`t have any intentions to harm technological development. The development of technology is unstoppable because it`s a direction to contemporary civilization and profitable pursuit for industry. Even it does not only mean to interrupt the technological development but also to have the conviction that the raising a queston is necessary and positive for how it is proper way to culture creation.

We have examined the regenerative capabilities of the human scalp hair follicle after grafting the lower half of the follicle. Twenty-eight of 32 intact whole-hair follicles isolated from the human scalp regenerated hairs when grafted onto the forehead of the same person. Seven of the 15 lower-half follicles regenerated complete hair follicles 8 months after grafting showed that the lower-half follicle implant reconstituted the complete hair follicle. The sebaceous gland was not regenerated, but there was an outgrowth in the sebaceous gland region. Some grafts formed epithelial cysts. Two years after grafting, the histological examination of the regenerated follicle from the lower-half implant showed that the sebaceous gland was completely regenerated. While an intact follicle shows prominent naked shaft outgrowth, the sheath grows concomitantly with the shaft in lower-half follicles in culture. If grafted lower-half follicles were located too deep, the regrown sheath could not reach the epidermal layer. In this situation, the formation of an epidermal cyst was likely.

Effects of Phenytoin and Diazepam on the Seizure Activity in the Cortical Dysplasia Animal Models

Dysplasia-associated seizure disorders are markedly resistant to pharmacological intervention. Relatively little research has been conducted studying the effects of antiepileptic drugs(AEDs) on seizure activity in a rat model of dysplasia. We have used rats exposed to methylazoxymethanol acetate(MAM) in utero, an animal model featuring nodular heterotopia, to investigate the effects of AEDs in the dysplastic brain. Pilocarpine was used to induce acute seizure in MAM-exposed and age-matched vehicle-injucted control animals. Field potential recordings were used to monitor amplitude and numbers population spikes, and paired pulse inhibition in response to stimulation of commissural pathway. Two commonly used AEDs were tested: diazepam 5, 2.5mg/kg;phenytoin 40, 60mg/kg. Diazepam(DZP) and phenytoin(PHT) reduced the amplitude of population spike in control and MAM-exposed rats. However, the amplitude of population spike was nearly eliminated in control rats as compared to the MAM-exposed rats. Pharmaco-resistance was tested by measuring seizure latencies in awake rats after pilocarpine administration(320mg/kg, i.p.) with and without pretreatment with AEDs. Pre-treatment with PHT 60 mg prolonged seizure latency in control rats, but not in MAM-exposed animals. The main findings of this study are that acute seizures initiated in MAM-exposed rats are relatively resistant to standard AEDs assessed in vivo. These data suggest that animal model with cortical dysplasia can be used to screen the effects of potential AEDs.

고등급 이형성을 보인 편평톱니샘종

Until recently, colorectal polyps were classified predominantly as hyperplastic or adenomatous. While adenomatous polyps are well-characterized precursor lesions of adenocarcinomas, hyperplastic polyps have been considered as benign lesion. However, some hyperplastic polyps with serrated morphology of the crypts have been recognized to have distinctive features and these polyps were termed ‘serrated adenomas’. Recent data show that sessile serrated adenomas (SSA) might be the precursors of serrated colonic cancers, underlining the necessity of identifying them. SSA is approximately 3% of all polyps, commonly appears as flat or sessile and yellowish due to mucus production. In the pathogenesis of SSA, progression to high grade dysplasia or early invasive carcinoma may be associated with serrated neoplasia pathway different from adenoma-carcinoma sequence. We report a case with a colon polyp diagnosed as sessile serrated adenoma with high grade dysplasia after endoscopic submucosal dissection.

김치에서 분리한 Lactobacillus sp. JC-7과 Lactobacillus acidophilus 88간의 Electrofusion 최적조건 설정

김치 발효 숙성기간을 연장하고 신선도를 오랫동안 유지 할 수 있는 김치발효 starter의 개발을 목적으로 최적숙성기에 있는 김치로부터 bacteriocin생성능이 없는 유산균을 분리하여 동정하였으며, bacteriocin생성능이 우수한 L.acidophilus 88을 융합시키기 위해 electrofusion에 대한 최적 조건을 검토하였다. 분리균주는 Lactobacillus속으로 동정되어 Lactobacillus sp. JC-7이라 명명하였다. Electrofusion에 의해 생성된 융합주를 식별하기 위해 streptomycin(2.5㎎/ml)에 내성을 나타내는 Lactobacillus sp. JC-7변이주와 kanamycin(600㎍/ml)에 내성을 나타내는 L.acidophilus 88변이주를 분리하였다. Electrofusion을 100V/㎝, 120msec(72ohms,1670 capacitance) 에서 수행했을 때 융합효율이 가장 양호하였으며 전기장의 세기와 시간이 중가할수록 융합 효율이 현저히 감소하였다. 2가 양이온은 농도가 중가할수록 대체적으로 융합효율을 감소시키는 경향을 나타내었으나 1mM MGCl_2에서는 대조군에 비해 융합효율이 약간 증가하였다. PEG매개에 의한 융합법의 융합효율을 비교한 결과, 융합효율은 chemical fusion<electrofusion<electrofusion+20% PEG순을 나타내었다. Evaluation of Optimum Conditions for the Electrofusion between Lactobacillus sp. JC-7 Isolated from Kimchi and Lactobacillus acidophilus 88. Young-Bae Jo, Hyun-Jung Choi, Hyung-Suk Baik and Hong-Ki Jun*. Department of Microbiology, Pusan National University, Pusan 609-735,Korea-A lactic acid bacterium was isolated from kimchi. The isolated strain was identified as the genus Lactobacillus thrugh its morphological characteristics and named as Lactobacillus sp. JC-7. The optimum conditions for the electrofusion between streptomycin(2.5㎎/ml)resistant mutant of Lactobacillus acidophilus 88 and kanamycin(600㎍/ml) resistant mutant Lactobacillus sp. JC-7 were evaluated. The highest number of fusants were obtained at a capacitance value of 120msec(1670㎌), a field strength of 100V/㎝,and a pulse controller setting of 72Ω. The potimum pH of elecroporation buffer was 7.5 and the concentration of divalent cation was 1mM MG^2+. Electrofusants were efficiently obtained by addition 20% polyethylene glycol to electroporation buffer. The yield of fusion was better than that of using polyethylene glycol mediated chemical induction.

원위 대퇴골의 고립성 골연골종에서 발생한 속발성 연골 육종 1례 보고

연골육종은 비교적 서서히 자라며 늦게 전이하는 악성 연골 종양으로 알려져 있다. 골 연골종에서 발생한 속발성 연골육종은 발생빈도는 드물며 타부위로의 전이가 적고 악성도가 낮은 경우가 많아 적합한 수술적 치료로서 좋은 예후를 보이는 것으로 보고되고 있다. 본 동국대학교 정형외과학 교실에서는 우측 대퇴골 원위부 골간단부에 생긴 고립성 골 연골종에서 이차적으로 발생한 연골육종을 치험한 바 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Secondary chondrosarcomas arising from a solitary osteocartilaginous exostosis are rare and those have a better prognosis than other chondrosarcomas, and they rarely metastasize. We present our experience with a case of secondary chondrpsarcoma arising in solitary osteochondroma of distal metaphysis of right femur with clinical details.

유방증대술후 실리콘 노출과 감염을 일으킨 재생불량성 빈혈 환자의 치험례:1례 보고

This 53 years old female patient ha had a history of aplastic anemia for 20 years. She had augmentation mammaplasty with silicone gel injection 16 years ago but 10 years later the injected material was partly removed due to induration and skin ulceration. Six years after partial removal of the foreign material, she developed infection again in both breasts and skin ulceration in the left breast, and surgery became inevitable. The laboratory data on admission(WBC : 2600/μℓ, Hb : 6.3/μℓ, platelet : 13.00μℓ) showed apparent pancytopenia and bone marrow aspiration revealed celluar hypoplasia(nucleated cell: 7,000/μℓ). Under interdepartment cooperation with the department of Hematology, general transfusion method(including HLA typing platelet transfusion) and cytokine therapy with G-CSF(granulocyte-colony stimulating factor) and erythropoietin were done to confront preoperative peripheral blood pancytopenia. As results of preoperative planned treatment, left simple mastectomy due to over-granulation and hematoma and right subcutaneous mastectomy could be performed without serious bleeding or other complication. Authors report this case to show effects of transfusion and therapy for the surgical treatment of an aplastic anemia patient.
