        조선후기 도검(刀劒) 소재(素材) 과거(科擧) 답안(答案) 사례에 대한 일고찰(一考察) -「검책문(劒策問)」과 「검대책문(劒對策文)」을 중심으로-

        조선의 과거제도는 500여 년간 조선 정부의 주도 하에 실시되었으며, 科擧試驗을 통해 수많은 관인들이 배출되었다. 그런데 과거시험 문제의 다양한 양태를 살펴보는 과정에서, 도검을 소재로 한 극소수 과거시험 문제와 답안의 존재를 확인할 수 있었다. 호란을 전후로 한 시기에 창작된 것으로 추정되는 작자 미상의 「劒策問」과 「劒對策文」이 바로 그것이다. 「劒策問」은 과거시험에서 考官인 執事가 시험 응시자인 擧子들에게 劒에 대해서 질문한 글이며, 「劒對策文」은 「劒策問」의 질문에 대한 書生의 답변이다. 집사가 제시한 각종 도검과 도검 사용자에 관한 질문에 대해, 서생은 각종 典故와 用事를 화려하게 구사하여 이에 대한 답을 정리하였다. 「검책문」과 「검대책문」은 각종 도검관련 전고와 용사를 십분 활용한 刀劒文學작품의 바람직한 사례가 되기에, 조선시대의 도검문학 작품 연구에 있어서 타작품을 분석할 때 많은 참고가 되는 글이다. 그리고 「검대책문」에서 검 자체보다는 검을 사용하는 주인에 더 비중을 두는 특징은, 여타 문체의 도검문학 작품들에서도 수도 없이 나타난다. 검이라는 무기는 결국 사람이 사용하는 도구일 뿐이며, 그 사람이 누구인가 하는 점이 더 중요한 것이다. The examination system of Joseon was conducted under the leadership of the Joseon government for more than 500 years where numerous officials were produced through various kinds of the public office examination[科擧試 驗]. However, in the process of examining various patterns of policy questions, we identified a few policy questions and answers based on the Sword[刀劒]. These are the author's unknowns of 「GumChaekMoon(劒策問)」 and 「GumDaeChaekMoon(劒對策文)」, which are believed to have been created during the period after the Horan(胡亂: the Qing Dynasty’s invasion of Joseon). 「GumChaekMoon(劒策問)」 is an article in which the public office interviewer[考官, 執事] asked questions about the Sword and Swordmen to the public office applicants[擧子] in the tests, and GumDaeChaekMoon(劒對策文)」 is an answers to the questions of 「GumChaekMoon(劒策問)」. In response to the questions asked by the interviewer about various Swords and Swordmen, Seo-saeng(書生: scholar) summed up the answers by using various maxims about deceased swordmen and scholars. 「GumChaekMoon(劒策問)」 and 「GumDaeChaekMoon(劒對策文)」 are desirable examples of Sword literature, which is a useful reference for analyzing other works in the study of Sword literature[刀劒文學] during the Joseon Dynasty Era. In addition, the emphasis on the sword owners over a sword itself is shown in many other sword literatures; after all, the sword is just a tool of man, and more important thing is who is the owner.

        A computational study on the removal of the non-isothermal concentrated fume from the semi-enclosed space

        For the prediction of the ventilation rate for removing the non-isothermal concentrated fume from the semi-enclosed space, the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis was done. Securing the proper ventilation conditions in emergency state such as in fire is crucial factor for the protection of the resident in the space. In the analysis for the determining the proper ventilation rate, the experimental study had the limitation for simulating the versatile conditions of fume development. The theoretical and computational method had been chosen as the alternate tool for the experimental analysis. In this study, the CFD analysis was done on the defined model which already had been done the experimental analysis by the previous workers. By comparing the prediction on the plume heights and the ventilation rates by the CFD analysis at, and in the parametric model of 1 m³ with those of the previous experimental works, the feasibility of the computational analysis was evaluated. For the required ventilation rate analyzed by the CFD analysis was over predicted in 7.1% difference with that of the experimental results depending on the different plume height. With the comparison with the analytical Zukoski model at, the CFD analysis on the ventilation was under predicted in 8.3%. By the verification of the feasibility of the CFD analysis, the extended analysis was done for getting the extra information such as the water vapor distribution and CO2 distribution in the semi-enclosed spaces.

        Photocatalytic Degradation of Gaseous Formaldehyde and Benzene using TiO₂ Particulate Films Prepared by the Flame Aerosol Reactor

        Nano-sized TiO₂ particles were produced by a premixed flame aerosol reactor, and they were immobilized on a mesh-type substrate in form of particulate film. The reactor made it possible maintaining the original particulate characteristics determined in the flame synthetic process. The particulate morphology and crystalline phase were not changed until the particulate were finally coated on the substrate, which resulted in the better performance of the photocatalytic conversion of the volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the ultraviolet (UV)-TiO₂ system. In the flame aerosol reactor, the various specific surface areas and the anatase weight fractions of the synthesized particles were obtained by manipulating the parameters in the combustion process. The performance of the TiO₂ particulate films was evaluated for the destruction of the VOCs under the various UV irradiation conditions. The decomposition rates of benzene and formaldehyde under the irradiation of UV-C of 254 nm in wavelength were evaluated to check the performance of TiO₂ film layer to be applied in air quality control system.

        Electron solvation and solvation-induced crystallization of an ammonia film on Ag(111) studied by 2-photon photoemission

        <P>Intermolecular interaction plays a crucial role in electron solvation in the condensed phase. Here, we present a femtosecond time-resolved and angle-resolved 2-photon photoemission (2PPE) study on the dynamics of electron solvation in a 2-dimensional ammonia film on a metal substrate. While the weakly chemisorbed first monolayer (ML) supports delocalized image-potential (IP) states that resemble those of the bare Ag(111) substrate, an additional monolayer localizes the IP state with a larger binding energy obtained through a pre-solvation process. Structural disorder in the metastable ammonia films (>2 ML) leads to a prominent photoelectron peak that is attributed to the long-lived trapped electron state (e<SUB>T</SUB>) located at 1.5 eV above the Fermi level. Photoinduced crystallization of the metastable phase, verified by the recovery of a delocalized IP state, is suggested to result from inelastic scattering between interfacial electrons and disordered ammonia molecules.</P> <P>Graphic Abstract</P><P>Excess energy dissipated from photoexcited electrons in a silver substrate transforms the disordered ammonia adsorbate film into a crystalline one. <IMG SRC='http://pubs.rsc.org/services/images/RSCpubs.ePlatform.Service.FreeContent.ImageService.svc/ImageService/image/GA?id=c1cp20804g'> </P>

        철도 레일빔 설계법에 대한 연구

        본 논문은 레일빔의 길이 산정에 관해서 지반공학적 측면에서 다룬 내용을 담고 있다. 레일빔은 철도횡단공사에서 가설기간 중에 부등침하 방지 목적으로 레일의 내측과 외측에 설치하는 보강레일을 말한다. 이러한 레일빔은 최근 철도를 횡단하는 지하구조물의 시공이 증가해서 기존 철도 시설물의 안정에 대응하고자 많이 설치하고 있다. 그러나 레일빔 길이 설계에 관한 기준이 없어 설계에 어려움이 있을 뿐만 아니라 레일빔 길이 부족으로 탈선사고까지 이어지는 경우가 발생하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 레일빔 길이 산정 방식에 대하여 토사지반과 암반지반으로 분류하여 Flow chart를 제시하였으며 레일 조합 및 위치에 대한 Case study를 실시하여 효과적인 레일의 조합과 위치에 확보할 수 있었다. This paper deals with contents on the estimation of rail beam from the geotechnical engineering aspect. Rail beam is reinforced rail installed on the inside and outside of rail to prevent differential settlement during the construction period of railroad crossing construction. Such rail beam is frequently being installed to ensure stability of existing railroad facilities because of increasing constructions of underground structures crossing railroad in recent. However, there is a difficulty in design due to lack of design standard on rail beam length. Furthermore, derailing accidents are also occurring as a result of rail beam length shortage. Accordingly, this paper presented flow chart based on the classification into soil ground and bedrock ground for the rail beam length estimation. In addition, case study was conducted on rail combination and location through which effective rail combination and location were ensured.

      • Ultrathin and Flat Layer Black Phosphorus Fabricated by Reactive Oxygen and Water Rinse

        <P>Ultrathin black phosphorus (BP) is one of the promising two-dimensional (2D) materials for future optoelectronic devices. Its chemical instability in ambient conditions and lack of a bottom-up approach for its synthesis necessitate efficient etching methods that generate BP films of designed thickness with stable and high-quality surfaces. Herein, reporting a photochemical etching method, we demonstrate a controlled layer-by-layer thinning of thick BP films down to a few layers or a single layer and confirm their Raman and photoluminescence characteristics. Ozone molecules generated by O-2 photolysis oxidize BP, forming P2O5-like oxides. When the resulting phosphorus oxides are removed by water, the surface of BP with preset thickness is highly flat and self-protective by surface oxygen functional groups. This method provides a fabrication strategy of BP and possibly other 2D semiconductors with band gaps tuned by their thickness.</P>
