Papillary eccrine adenoma is a rare benign sweat gland neoplasm. It occurs most often as a solitary nodule in women and is located predominantly on the distal portion of the extremities. This tumor is similar to tubular apocrine adenoma in histological and clinical aspects, so distinction of these tumors is still controversial. We report a case of two papillary eccrine adenomas developed on the left popliteal and calf area of a 58-year-old-man, this is the first report of the multiple papillary eccrine adenomas in Korea. Clinical observation was made on 52 cases of Stroke that were confined through brain CT, MRI scan. The Stroke cases wee classified into the following kinds cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, cerebellar or brain stem infarction, cerebellar or brain stem hemorrhage. and among the 52 cases of Stroke cerbral infarction was noticed in 75.00%, cerebral hemorrhage in 11.54%, cerebellar or brain stem infarction in 9.52%, cerebeller or brain stem hemorrhage in 3.85%. The ratio between males and females was 1.74:1 in the whole groups of Stroke and most cases were over 60 of age. As the time of hospitalization, most patients hospitalized from 1 day after stroke to 7 days after stroke. And as the course of hospitalization, most patients hospitalized first. Among the preceding disease at the onset of Stroke hypertention was noted in 32.69%, and deabetes mellitus or heart problem was noted frequently(15.39%). Electrocardiography findings were as follows: The normal was noted in 53.85%, the abnormal in 46.15%. And as the abnormal, left ventricular hypertrophy was noted in 17.54%. The predisposing factors or conditions at the onset of brain infarction were usually initiated during the time of sleeping and those of brain hemorrhage chiefly during the time of execising like overwork or walking etc. It was noted that smoking a pack of cigarette showed highest disease rate(33.33%) among the average of smoking amount of one day in case of man. Prior to attack, the most chiefly complain was dyspnea or discomfort on chest region. And 30.70% of patients had no previous sign. There were a large number of recurrent cases. The first attack was noted in 71.15%, the 2nd attack in 23.08%, the 3rd attack in 5.77%.
피하에 효과적인 열 자극을 위한 고주파 자극 프로토콜 개발

뜸은 질병에 대한 면역력을 높이고 질병을 치유하는데 효과적인 반면 뜸의 열 자극 세기를 조절하기 힘들어 피부에 고통을 유발시키며 화상을 입히는 부작용이 발생된다. 이런 한계점을 극복하기 위해 자극 조절이 가능한 고주파 열 자극 시스템을 개발하였으며, 동물에게 뜸질을 할 경우 얻어지는 온도분포와 유사한 자극 프로토콜을 개발하였다. 자극을 위한 시스템은 2MHz, 200W의 고주파유전가열장치, 절연프로브, 절연플레이트, 음압 발생부 및 온도측정부로 구성되어있다. 자극 프로토콜 설계를 위해서 일차적으로 토끼의 대퇴부에 뜸질시 표피, 피하 5mm와 피하10mm에서 온도분포를 획득하였다. 획득된 뜸질의 온도분포와 유사한 온도분포로 자극하기 위해서 자극펄스의 duty ratio와 반복회수 및 출력을 제어하였다. 뜸질과 고주파 자극시 피하의 온도분포를 비교해본 결과 피하 5mm와 10mm 부위에서의 상관관계는 각각 95%와 91%로 일치함을 보여주었다. 또한, 고주파 자극시 표피에서의 온도분포는 뜸에 비해 현저하게 낮게 나옴을 확인하였다. 이를 통해 고주파 열 자극 시스템은 뜸질의 문제점인 화농, 물집과 같은 부작용을 유발시키지 않으면서 피하에 뜸질과 유사한 열 자극이 가능함을 보여주었다. Moxibustion is utilized not only to cure disease but also to increase immunity. However, it may lead to undesired effects including severe pains(blisters and burns) because of the difficulty of controlling heat intensity. To overcome these problems we developed the RF heat stimulation system which can control stimulus. Also, we developed the RF stimulation protocol for effective heat transfer in subcutaneous tissue of rabbit. RF stimulator consists of a medical RF capacitive heating device, isolation probe, isolation plate, negative pressure control part and temperature measurement part. For the designed stimulus protocol, we measured the temperature distribution on epidermis and in subcutaneous(5mm, 10mm) area of rabbit during moxibustion. A stimulation protocol was designed by controlling the ON/OFF duty ratio, repeating number, and energy of applied pulse to get the temperature distribution similar with that by moxibustion. In results, the correlation coefficients between temperature distribution by moxibustion and that of stimulator were 95% and 91% from 5mm and 10mm thick respectively. However, temperature distribution on epidermis by stimulator was remarkably lower than that of the moxibustion. Finally, the RF stimulation system showed that it can not only transfer effectively heat similar with moxibustion to the subcutaneous area, but also the influence by unwanted side effects can be minimized.

In this paper, a digital inclinometer to measure the angle and acceleration signals of subject laid on Roll was designed. The designed system consists of a tilt sensor, biaxial accelerometer, microcontroller and Blue Tooth module. The designed digital inclinometer was easy to handle and easy to wear. To evaluate the performance of the system, we measured simultaneously the angle and acceleration signals from the 3 subjects on the Roll with two instruments which are ZEBRIS and our system. The measured signals were processed by statistical method and then the correlation coefficient of 0.93 was shown. From the results, the designed digital inclinometer is shown to be useful in assessment of body movement.
A Unique Electrical Thermal Stimulation System Comparable to Moxibustion of Subcutaneous Tissue

<P>Moxibustion strengthens immunity and it is an effective treatment modality, but, depending on the material quantity, shape, and composition, the thermal strength and intensity can be difficult to control, which may cause pain or epidermal burns. To overcome these limitations, a heat stimulating system which is able to control the thermal intensity was developed. The temperature distributions on epidermis, at 5 mm and 10 mm of depth, in rabbit femoral tissue were compared between moxibustion and the electric thermal stimulation system. The stimulation system consists of a high radio frequency dielectric heating equipment (2 MHz frequency, maximum power 200 W), isolation probe, isolation plate, negative pressure generator, and a temperature assessment system. The temperature was modulated by controlling the stimulation pulse duty ratio, repetition number, and output. There were 95% and 91% temperature distribution correlations between moxibustion and the thermal stimulus at 5 mm and 10 mm of depth in tissue, respectively. Moreover, the epidermal temperature in thermal stimulation was lower than that in moxibustion. These results showed that heat loss by the electric thermal stimulation system is less than that by the traditional moxibustion method. Furthermore, the proposed electric thermal stimulation did not cause adverse effects, such as suppuration or blisters, and also provided subcutaneous stimulation comparable to moxibustion.</P>
