리소르지멘토와 19세기 이탈리아 소설: 리소르지멘토 초기 민족의식 - 포스콜로의 『야코포 오르티스의 마지막 편지』와 펠리코의 『나의 옥중기』를 중심으로 -

리소르지멘토는 일반적으로 1815년에서 1871년까지의 역사적 시기를 말한다. “리소르지멘토”란 말은 이탈리아 국가의 정치적 통일의 시작과 발전 및 완성을 특징짓는 문화적, 정치적, 사회적 혁신 과정을 의미한다. 19세기 초반 이탈리아는 여러 소국으로 분열돼 있었고, 독립과 통일에 대한 일반 국민의 인식이 부재했다. 1817년 최종판이 나온 우고 포스콜로의 『야코포 오르티스의 마지막 편지』에서는 이탈리아의 탄생을 말하고 있으며, 이탈리아가 수백 년간 외세의 지배로 인해 역사의 주체가 되지 못한 이유를 분열과 민족의식의 부재로 파악한다. 카르보나리 당원이라는 의심 때문에 오스트리아 경찰에 체포된 실비오 펠리코는 10년 간의 감옥생할 경험을 담은 『나의 옥중기』를 출판했다. 이 작품은 고통스러운 상황에서 그리스도교와 소박한 사람들의 인간성이 주는 위로를 말하고 있다. Resorgimento generally refers to the historical period from 1815 to 1871. The term “risorgimento” means the process of cultural, political and social innovation that characterizes the birth, development and achievement of the political unity of the Italian state. In the early 19th century, Italy was divided into several small countries, and the general public’s awareness of independence and unification was absent. Ugo Foscolo’s Ultime lettere di Jacopo Ortis, published in the final version in 1817, speaks of the birth of Italy, and the reason why Italy has been ruled by foreign powers for hundreds of years is understood as division and lack of national consciousness. Silvio Pellico, who was arrested by the Austrian police for suspicion of being a member of the Carboneria, published Le mie prigioni which tells the story of 10 years of imprisonment. This work speaks of the comfort of Christianity and the humanity of simple people in a painful situation.

전시체제기 『매일신보』의 근로 담론 연구

This article explored the discourse of labor mady by Maeilsinbo, the bulletin of the Japanese Government-General of Korea in the wartime period. In Maeilsinbo, there were diaries, letters and reports written by Koreans; this editng method to use Koreans’ voices is good to understand the characteristics and meaning of the discourse of labor although it is difficult to take all of the contents of the diaries etc. as facts. The period was divided into June 1938, when the Labor Patriotic Corps activities began, November 1940, when the ‘Guideline for Establishing a New Labor System’ was published, and around September 1944, when the conscription order was expanded. First, since the beginning of the Labor Patriotic Movement in June 1938, MaeilShinbo had shown the superiority of collective and overall power centered on the experiences of young men who were active in the Labor Patriotic Corps, and had realized the image of the Subjects of Japanese empire who had storonger powers than the total sum of powers of members of the Subjects. Second, after the publication of the ‘Guideline for Establishing a New Working System’ in November 1940, the Maeil Shinbo explained labor as one of the standards of national ethics. Accordingly, it was explained that the working spirit was a virtue that everyone should work without exception. MaeilShinbo explained the National Labor Patriotic Cooperation Ordinance(November 1941), which did not ordered but requested for young men and women to work in the military industry. In addition, in order to establish a common sense that the women and the elderly were responsible for agricultural labor, the production labor of married women and the elderly was shown as a natural and moral duty in a way that equalized the family and the country with the cases of Japanese women and the edlderly in rural areas. Finally, before and after September 1944, MaeilShinbo tried to show the desire to labor. MaeilShinbo, described the work of rear ground embracing the battlefield with pleasure in a way that alludes to the desire to win and the desire to post-victory ideals. In particular, it directly conveyed the feelings of pleasure and satisfaction from work revealed in the diaries of the conscripted students and the letters of members of the Korean Women labor corps. and indirectly metaphorized the pleasure and satisfaction of labor with cases of labor without complaints or labor without rest of conscripted workers, members of the port labor corps and rural women.

키오스크 서비스 실패: 시니어들의 부정적인 키오스크 이용 경험을 중심으로

키오스크 서비스는 소비 행태에 다각적인 변화를 가져오고 있으며, 소비자들의 구매의사결정 과정에 다양한 영향을 미치고 있다. 본 연구는 근거이론을 활용하여 키오스크 이용 과정에서 발생된 시니어들이 부정적인 경험들을 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 외식서비스 환경에서 키오스크 서비스 실패를 경험한 50-70대 시니어 소비자들을 대상으로 심층 면담을 진행하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. 첫째, 시니어들은 키오스크 서비스 실패로 인해 다양한 부정적인 경험하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 시니어들은 키오스크 서비스 실패에 대응하기 위해 다양한 상호작용 전략을 사용하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 키오스크 서비스 실패에 대한 대응 및 결과를 중심으로 ‘노력형’, ‘답보형’, ‘표출형’이라는 세 가지 유형의 소비자 집단이 도출되었다. 넷째, ‘노력형’은 키오스크 이용 역량을 향상시키기 위해 노력하는 집단으로 나타났다. 다섯째, ‘답보형’은 키오스크 이용으로 발생하는 전환비용을 심적으로 계산하는 집단으로 나타났다. 여섯째, ‘표출형’은 키오스크 서비스 실패로 발생된 부정적 감정을 타인에게 표출하는 집단으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 시니어들의 키오스크 이용 행태에 대한 이해도를 증진시키는데 기여할 수 있으며, 키오스크 서비스의 문제점을 파악하고 서비스의 질을 개선하는데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. Self-service kiosk technologies have become popular in the food service industry. However, seniors often struggle when dealing with kiosk technologies. The purpose of this study is to explore the struggling experience of seniors with kiosk service. The qualitative research method of grounded theory was adopted. The results of the study are as follows. First, a paradigm model of the struggles with kiosk service was drawn. Second, seniors adopt four different strategies to deal with their struggles using kiosk service: maintain positive attitude, control negative attitude, ask for help, and show their feelings. Third, based on the strategies they use to handle their struggles with kiosk service, seniors can be categorized into three groups: effort type group, stagnation type group, and feeling expression type group. Fourth, the seniors in the effort type group attempt to improve their capabilities of dealing with kiosk services. Fifth, the seniors in stagnation type group attempt to maintain their status quo and use psychological calculation to switch the cost of kiosk. Sixth, the seniors in the feeling expression type group attempt to express their negative feelings to salesmen. These results offer food service providers new insights on seniors’ kiosk usage and a coping method to handle seniors’ struggles with kiosk service.

네트워크 외부성에 따른 소비자 유형화 연구: 인공지능 스피커를 중심으로

인공지능 스피커가 다양한 서비스를 연결하는 플랫폼으로 주목을 받고 있다. 본 연구는 인공지능 스피커에 대한 인지된 네트워크 외부성을 중심으로 소비자를 유형화 하고, 인공지능 스피커의 지속 이용 의도에 미치는 영향력을 파악하기 위한 연구 목적을 가지고 있다. 본 연구는 네트워크 외부성을 이용자 수, 서비스 수, 양립성, 보완성이라는 네 가지 차원으로 세분화하였다. 현재 인공지능 스피커를 이용하고 있는 20-50대 소비자들을 대상으로 온라인조사를 실시하였고, 총 354명의 데이터가 최종 분석에 사용되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 네트워크 외부성을 중심으로 ‘고(高) 네트워크 외부성 인식’, ‘중(中) 네트워크 외부성 인식’, ‘저(低) 네트워크 외부성 인식’이라는 세 가지 소비자 집단이 도출되었다. 둘째, 지능성이 모든 소비자 집단의 인공지능 스피커에 대한 지속 이용 의도를 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 오락성과 공감성이 고(高) 네트워크 외부성 인식 집단과 중(中) 네트워크 외부성 인식 집단의 인공지능 스피커의 지속 이용 의도를 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 프라이버시 위험이 중(中) 네트워크 외부성 인식과 저(低) 네트워크 외부성 인식 집단의 인공지능 스피커 지속 이용 의도를 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 기능적 위험이 고(高) 네트워크 외부성 인식과 저(低) 네트워크 외부성 인식 집단의 인공지능 스피커의 지속 이용 의도를 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 네트워크 외부성에 대한 이용자들의 인식에 차이가 있으며, 인공지능 스피커 이용자들이 다양한 소비자 집단으로 구분될 수 있음을 시사한다. 본 연구의 결과는 인공지능 스피커의 지속 이용 의도를 촉진하거나 감소시키는 요인들에 대한 이해를 증진시킬 수 있을 것이다. Artificial intelligence speakers are voice-controlled and hands-free devices. It has become a platform for diversity services. This study demonstrates that there are differences among the four network externalities, that is, the number of users, the number of services, complementarity, and compatibility. The purpose of this paper is to categorize the consumer group with four kinds of network externalities and explore the differences between three consumer groups: “high,” “medium” and “low.” Data were collected from 354 artificial intelligence speaker users aged from their 20s to their 50s. The results are as follows: First, significant differences were found among the three consumer groups. Second, intelligence significantly influenced continuous use intention of AI speaker in all consumer groups. Third, entertainment and sympathy significantly influenced continuous use intention of AI speaker in ‘high’ and ‘medium’ consumer groups. Fourth, privacy risk significantly influenced continuous use intention of AI speaker in ‘medium’ and ‘low’ consumer groups. Fifth, functional risk significantly influenced continuous use intention of AI speaker in ‘high’ and ‘low’ consumer groups. These findings would increase the understanding the diversity AI speaker users.

Rolipram, a Phosphodiesterase 4 Inhibitor, Suppresses PGE2-Induced Osteoclast Formation by Lowering Osteoclast Progenitor Cell Viability

We have previously shown that phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitors induce osteoclast formation by suppressing the degradation of intracellular cAMP. To determine the regulatory roles of PDE inhibitors on PGE2-induced osteoclastogenesis, we investigated the effect of PDE inhibitors on osteoclast formation in the presence of PGE2. We found that IBMX, a nonselective PDE inhibitor, and rolipram, a specific PDE4 inhibitor, decreased PGE2-induced osteoclast formation in cocultures of mouse bone marrow cells and osteoblastic cells. These suppressive effects were observed only when cocultures were treated with PDE inhibitors in the presence of PGE2 at an early stage of differentiation. Northern blot analysis revealed that the PDE4 inhibitor works synergistically with PGE2 to increase the ratio of TRANCE/OPG mRNA in osteoblasts, suggesting that suppression of osteoclast formation by PGE2 and the PDE4 inhibitor is not attributable to their indirect effect on calvarial osteoblasts. We further demonstrated that the PDE4 inhibitor augments the inhibitory effect of PGE2 on osteoclast progenitor cell viability, showing that combined treatment with PGE2 and rolipram suppresses osteoclast formation by directly reducing osteoclast progenitor cell viability.

The effect of live commerce’s para-social interaction on satisfaction with the experience - Focused on the moderated mediation effect of self-image congruity -

Live-streaming commerce business is growing as the consumption of video content and Smartphone shopping increases. This study examines the following three aspects: whether para-social interaction influences perceived interactivity; whether seller trust affects satisfaction with the experience; whether relationships are controlled by a moderated mediator of self-image congruity. An online survey was conducted with 203 women aged 20-30 years. They were asked to respond to the survey after watching a beauty category live-streaming commerce broadcast. The results revealed that the para-social interaction had a significant effect on perceived interactivity, seller trust and satisfaction with the experience. The findings also indicated that the perceived interactivity and seller trust mediated the relationship between para-social interaction and satisfaction with the experience. Regarding the mediated moderation effect of self-image congruity, it was statistically significant between para-social interaction and perceived interactivity through seller trust. A higher level of consumer’s self-image congruity influenced the greater effect of para-social interaction on live commerce experience. This study makes important theoretical contributions to the para-social interaction in mobile commerce industry by emphasizing the mediating role of perceived interactivity and seller trust. This is achieved by examining the moderating effects of self-congruity on satisfaction with the experience. The results also verify the seller’s crucial role in live-streaming commerce market which leads to the consumers greater fulfillment.

Hemocytes are key players in the immune response against pathogens in insects. However, the hemocyte types and their functions in the white-spotted flower chafers, Protaetia brevitarsis seulensis (Kolbe), are not known. In this study, we used various microscopes, molecular probes, and flow cytometric analyses to characterize the hemocytes in Protaetia brevitarsis seulensis. we identified the professional phagocytes, granulocytes (GRs), which mediate encapsulation and phagocytosis of pathogens. The GRs were immunologically or morphologically activated and phagocytosed potentially hazardous substances in vivo.

Channel Defect Analysis Method of a-IGZO TFTs on Polyimide for Flexible Displays

In this paper, we introduce a method enabling faster and more innovative analysis of the channel characteristics of amorphous indium-gallium-zinc oxide (a-IGZO) thin film transistors (TFTs) manufactured on flexible substrates through electrical property analysis. The TFTs used in the present evaluation were a-IGZO TFTs with different oxygen flow rates (OFRs), which have been reported on frequently in the past, to confirm the effectiveness of the new evaluation method. The interface characteristics of the IGZO and the insulator were confirmed by density of state (DOS) extraction using photoexcited charge collection spectroscopy (PECCS). Defects of the TFT active layer were confirmed through the capacitance-time (c-t) method. It was confirmed that the smaller the OFR, the smaller the carrier lifetime due to the presence of oxygen vacancies. In conclusion, by obtaining the same results as previously reported physical analyses, the proposed electrical channel characteristics analysis of IGZO TFTs was shown to be a reliable analysis method.
