        다양한 교정용 접착제의 표면거칠기와 표면에너지 요소 분석

        치과용 재료의 표면특성은 세균 부착에 중요한 역할을 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 다섯 종류의 광중합 교정용 접착제(불소를 방출하지 않는 세 종류의 콤포지트 레진, 불소를 방출하는 콤포지트 레진 한 종류, 레진 변형 글래스아이오노머 시멘트 한 종류)의 표면특성을 평가하는 것이다. 표면거칠기는 공초점 레이저주사전자현미경을 이용하여 측정하였고, 접촉각과 표면에너지 요소는 sessile drop method를 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과 교정용 접착제간 표면거칠기는 각 재료간 표면거칠기 차이가 0.05 ㎛ 이하로 상대적으로 적지만 각 재료 사이에 유의성 있는 차이를 보였다. Transbond XT와 Enlight는 Monolok2와 Lightbond 보다 유의하게 덜 거칠었다. 접촉각과 표면에너지 구성성분은 접착제 사이에 유의성 있는 큰 차이를 보였는데 특히 레진 변형 글래스아이오노머와 콤포지트 레진 접착제 간에 접촉각과 표면에너지에서 커다란 차이를 보였다. 레진 변형 글래스아이오노머의 경우 콤포지트 레진 접착제에 비해 유의하게 작은 접촉각과 높은 표면에너지를 보였으며 콤포지트 레진 접착제보다 강한 극성, 특히 강한 염기성 경향을 보였다, 본 연구는 레진 변형 글래스아이오노머가 콤포지트 레진 접착제에 비해 세균 부착에 유리한 환경을 제공한다는 것을 보여주었다. Objective: Surface characteristics of dental materials play an important role in bacterial adhesion. The purpose of this study was to investigate surface characteristics of 5 different light-cured orthodontic adhesives (1 fluoride-releasing composite, 3 non-fluoride-releasing composites, and 1 resin-modified glass ionomer). Methods: Surface roughness was measured using a confocal laser scanning microscope. Contact angle and surface free energy components were analyzed using the sessile drop method. Results: Surface roughness was significantly different between adhesives despite a relatively small variation (less than 0.05 ㎛). Lightbond and Monolok2 were rougher than Enlight and Transbond XT. There were also significant differences in contact angles and surface free energy components between adhesives. In particular, considerable differences in contact angles and surface free energy components were found between resin modified glass ionomer and the composites. Resin modified glass ionomer showed significantly smaller contact angles in 3 different probe liquids and had higher total surface free energy and stronger polarity, with notably stronger basic property than the composites. Conclusion: Resin modified glass ionomer may provide a more favourable environment for bacterial adhesion than composite adhesives.

      • 의료환경의 변화에 따른 한방병원 외래진료부의 공간구성에 관한 연구

        이 논문은 의료환경 변화에 따른 한방병원 외래진료부의 건축계획적 자료를 제시하고자 한 논문으로 전국 12개 대학부속 한방병원을 대상으로 조사하였다. 그 조사결과는 다음과 같다. 1)외래진료부의 전체 연면적 대비 비율은 6.22-18.51%였으며, 병상당 면적은 8.48m²이다. 2)외래진료부의 진료과 구성은 병원에 따라 약간의 차이를 보이나 대개 비슷하며, 한·양방 협진에 따른 클리닉 개념의 진료 과들이 늘어나고 있는 추세이다. 3)외래진료부의 평면유형은 대개 중복도형이었으며, 진료실 평면유형은 기능분리형, 문진/진찰 결합형, 혼합형, 공동침구실형 등으로 조사되었다. This study aims to present data for the architectural planning of an outpatient department in Oriental hospital according to change of medical environment. The results are as follows: 1) The outpatient department of oriental hospital is studied 6.22-18.51%, average 12.96%. and average area per bed is 8.48㎡. 2) In general, the Outpatient Department consists of an Oriental medicine internal department, Oriental medicine pediatrics, Oriental medicine gynecology, Oriental medicine psychiatry, an acupuncture department, and an Oriental medicine rehabilitation department. 3) There are a separated function model, a consultation/medical examination combined model, a mixed model, a common acupuncture room model in plane figure or type of consultation room. Selected hospitals for investigation make use of a mixed model of consultation room, which show a very high frequency of use. Findings show that average area of consultation room is 98.23㎡.

      • 경량 고강도 Mg-Zn계합금의 조직과 내식성에 관한 연구

        The purpose in this study is to develope of high strength and corrosion reistant Mg-Zn system alloys by controlling microstructures and by adding of Cu elements. To produce optimum tesile strength,it is imperative to obtain effective grain refinment during casting. Optimal condition for grain size refining effect was obtained at the minmum composotion of 2wt% Cu or 1.5wt%So addition to Mg-6wt%Zn alloy.Age hardening behavior was experimented at the optimal compositions of the Mg-6wt%Zn, Mg-6wt%Zn-2wt%Cu and Mg-6wt%Zn-1.5wt%Si. The hardeness increment due to age hardening was at the Mg-Zn-Si alloy system. The improvement of corrosion resistanece by the addition with Cu is related to and increasing Zn/Cu ration in the intermatallic particles in the Mg-Zn system.Further improvements obtained by T6 treatment are related to the properties of the Mg-Zn phase,whih acts as a corrosion barrier by precipitating along the grainboundaries.Filiform corrosion observed soon after pit initiation and cellular form of pit propagation later in chloride media are explained in terms of solid solution matrix structure and the properties of air formed oxide.The information obtained from the fundamental research work is utilized in suggesting ways of improving the corrosion resistance of commercial AZ91.

      • 돼지에서 정맥, 근육 그리고 경구 투여시의 enrofloxacin의 약물동태학

        In order to characterize pharmacokinetic profiles according to route of a new enrofloxacin salt form (Enrotil®), it was given to 4 healthy pigs via oral (p.o.), intramuscular (i.m.) or intravenous (i.v.) administrations at a dose rate of 5 ㎎/㎏ body weight. Enrofloxacin (ENFX) in serum was detected by bioassay using E. coli BE1186 as a test organism. The biological elimination half-lives (t_1/2(β)) of ENFX were 6.76±0.99 h (i.v.), 7.16±2.30 h (i.m.) and 11.45±3.90 h (p.o.), Volume of distribution (Vd) of enrofloxacin was 2.20±0.31 L/㎏ (i.v.), 2.52±0.60 L/㎏ (i.m.) and 1.88±0.33 L/㎏ (i.m.). Mean residence time (MRT) was 8.77±1.26 h after i.v. injection and the maximal concentration time (Tmax) following p.o. and i.m. administration was 0.76±0.09 h and 0.60±0.12 h, indicating a rapid absorption from these routes. Bioavailibility (F) was calculated as 64.1% for p.o. administration and 59.71% for i.m. injections. In summary, the newly formulated enrofloxacin salt form has shown a high water solubility, rapid absorption and large tissue distribution, suggesting a potential antibacterials for oral application on a large scale in veterinary sectors.

      • 부비동 악성 종양의 임상적 분석

        Background and Objectives : Paranasal sinus cancer is rare when compared with cancers of other sites. Because paranasal sinus is anatomically located adjacent to the orbit and skull base, it is difficult to remove the tumor completely with tumor free margin in advanced paranasal sinus cancer. This report was conducted to investigate clinical characteristics, histologic type and treatment outcome of paranasal sinus cancer. Material and Methods : Twenty-six cases with paranasal sinus cancer diagnosed at the Department of otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Soonchunhyang Cheonan Hospital from January 1991 to September 2000 were studied by chart review, telephone interview and letters retrospectively. Results : The male to female ratio was 4.2 : 1. Most patients were 6th and 7th decade. The maxillary sinus was the most commonly affected site(61.5%), followed by the ethmoid sinus(34.6%). The most common histologic type of malignancy was squamous cell carcinoma(57.6%), followed by adenocarcinoma(19.2%). Most patients presented with T_(3)/T_(4) or locally advanced disease, N_(0)(91.3%), and M_(0)(100%) Sixtynine pertcent of this study group underwent sugery as part of a mutimodality curative treatment plan or alone as curative treatment. Eighteen patients(69.2%) developed recurrent disease at a median time of 278 days after initial treatment. Kaplan-Meier analysis revealed the 5-year disease specific survival was 34.6%. Conclusion : Most patients with paranasal sinus cancer presented with locally advanced disease. Adanced T stage was highly predictive of poor prognosis. Recurrence rate was high and mostly occured within the second year after treatment.

      • 엔로플록사신 액제의 닭 호흡기 및 소화기 감염증에 대한 예방 및 치료효과

        We evaluated the efficacy of the liquid form of enrofloxacin against poultry respiratory and digestive infections, the major problems in the poultry industry, from diverse diagnosis viewpoints. Results obtained through this study were as follows: 1. The liquid form of enrofloxacin showed good acceptability to poultry owing to no abhorrence to the drug by chickens, which indicated its suitability for mixing in drinking water. 2. The application of the enrofloxacin formulation improved the productivity of the chicken farm to a great extent by lowering the death toll of chicken raised in the farm. 3. The use of the drug shortened the days to the market, and increased the body weight at the time of marketing. 4. Preventive and therapeutic effects of the liquid enrofloxacin were observed higher than ampicillin, a major antibiotic used in poultry farming. From above results, the liquid form of enrofloxacin would find its use for the prevention and treatment of digestive and respiratory infections, let alone the growth promotion and feed efficiency, especially in the chicken farming practice.

      • 양식 넙치에 있어서 인삼말을 주성분으로 한 생약제제의 효능·효과에 관한 연구

        A mixture of crude drugs was administered to cultured flounders and evaluated by its efficacy for further usage in the fish culture in general. A newly adopted WTO system requires our fish industry to have the competitiveness in terms of the fish quality and price. The use of conventional crude drugs in culture farming could give some solution in this regard. The formula of the mixture of crude drugs per ㎏ was as follows: ginseng, 10g; garlic extract, 1g; aloe powder, 10g; kelp powder, 50g; and excipients. Among these ingredients, ginseng has already been enjoyed in the area of flounders culture due to its promotant effects not only for growth but also for muscle quality. As garlic has the appetizing effects for the fish, it has long been used as an additive in fish feed. Other ingredients such as aloe and kelp have sound background as fish feed additives. paragraph, we investigated the efficacy of the mixture by two viewpoints; growth promotion(quantity aspect) and muscle hardness(quality aspect). From the quantity point of view, the mixture had remarkable growth promoting effects in both fry and adult fish; the mixture(101.8%) vs. the control(80.5%) for the fry; the mixture(67.2%) vs. the control(55.7%) for the adult. In addition, te mixture gave more desirable effects over the control, from the standpoints of the feed efficiency, body length and accumulated death rates. From the quality point of view, the mixture appeared to lead to the promotion of muscle quality both objectively and subjectively. By the use of a muscle hardness measuring apparatus, the mixture gave more muscle hardness at least for 10 hours from storage, as compared to the control. Adults participating in the test for tasting, expressed that the muscle from the mixture-treated group was harder therefore taster than that from the control group. In conclusion, the mixture used in this study could be used successfully in the culture farming so as to get the competitiveness edge as it was confirmed to have the effects of promoting growth and increasing the muscle quality.

      • 한국인 제2형 당뇨병 환자의 골격근에서 인슐린 신호전달체계의 결함

        연구배경: 제2형 당뇨병에서 나타나는 인슐린 저항성은 간, 지방, 근육 같은 말초조직에서 인슐린의 작용이 떨어지는 것을 말한다. 제2형 당뇨병의 발생기전에 인슐린 저항성과 인슐린 분비능 저하가 같이 관여함은 잘 알려진 사실이다. 인슐린의 세포내에서의 저항성을 규명하기 위한 인슐린의 세포내 신호전달체계에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있으며 몇몇 연구에서 인슐린 저항성을 가진 골격근육에서 IRS와 관련된 PI3-kinase의 활성감소와 Akt kinase의 활성감소를 보고하고 있으나 아직까지 명확하게 그 기작이 설명되어지지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 정상성인, 제2형 당뇨병 환자를 대상으로 경구당부하검사 및 인슐린 클램프검사를 시행하고 인슐린 클램프 검사시 대상인의 근육을 채취하여 인슐린 신호전달 체계(IR-β, IRS, Akt(PKB, Rac) kinase, GSK-3)를 연구하였다. 방법: 연구대상자는 한국인으로서 경구당부하검사상 정상인 및 당뇨병 환자 각각 11명, 9명을 대상으로 하였으며, 정상인은 건강인으로 과거력상 당대사에 영향을 줄 질환이 없고, 현재 당대사에 영향을 줄 약물 복용 및 다른 소견이 없는 경구당부하검사상 정성 내당능을 보이는 대상자로 하였다. 당뇨병환자는 모두 제2형 당뇨병 환자로 이환기간이 만 5년 이내인 경우로 하고, 인슐린으로 치료하는 대상자는 제외하도록 하였다. 대상자의 연령, 체질량지수, 체지방량, 공복시 총콜레스테롤, 중성지방, 고밀도지단백 콜레스테롤 및 HbA1c, 인슐린, C-peptide를 측정하였고, "HOMA model"을 이용하여 베타세포의 기능와 인슐린저항성 정도를 평가하였다. 정상혈당클램프 검사(euhlycemic hyperinsulinemic clamp test)를 시행하고 인슐린 투입 전과 인슐린 투입 30분후, 두차례에 걸쳐 대퇴부 근육생검을 실시한후 western 법으로 IR-β, IRS, Akt kinase, GSK-3의 인산화량을 측정하였다. 결과: 정상인 11명과 당뇨병 환자 9명을 대상으로 하였으며 대상자의 평균 연령, 평균 체질량지수, 체지방량, 허리/엉덩이 둘레의 비(waist hip ratio; WHR)는 두 군간에 차이가 없었다. 평균 공복혈당은 정상군 98.0±0.3㎎/dL, 당뇨병군 208.1±16.5㎎/dL(p<0.05), HbA1c는 정상군 5.4±0.5%, 당뇨병군 9.2±0.6%(p<0.05)였다. "HOMA model"을 이용한 베타세포의 기능과 인슐린저항성은 정상군 56.4±8.5%, 1.4±0.2, 당뇨병군 72.2±52.3%(p<0.01), 10.2±6.3(p<0.01)였으며 정상혈당클램프 검사상 포도당 이용률은 정상군 8.2±0.6㎎/㎏/min, 당뇨병군 3.7±1.1㎎/㎏/min(p<0.01)로 정상군과 당뇨병군간에 유의한 차이를 나타내었다. Western blot법으로 IR-β, IRS, Akt kinase, GSK-3의 인산화량을 인슐린 투입전과 인슐린 투입 30분후 측정하였을 때 IR-β에서는 정상군이 103.9±2.3에서 241.3±18.6, 당뇨군이 108.9±2.2에서 198.7±6.3으로 증가하였다(p=NS). 이는 인슐린 투입후 당뇨병군이 정상군과 비교하여 인산화량의 증가정도가 통계적인 차이가 없었다. IRS에서는 정상군이 111.6±7.3에서 295.6±17.2, 당뇨군이 114.5±6.1에서 222.0±23.2로 증가하였으며(p<0.05), 인슐린 투입후 당뇨병군이 정상군과 비교하여 인산화량의 증가정도가 약 24% 감소하였다. Akt kinase에서는 103.4±6.0에서 416.8±29.5로 증가하였으며(p<0.01), 인슐린 투입후 당뇨병군이 정상군과 비교하여 인산화량의 증가정도가 약 43% 감소하였다. GSK-3에서는 정상군이 107.7±6.7에서 595.7±28.1, 당뇨군이 104.3±4.8에서 443.3±12.9로 증가하였으며(p<0.01), 인슐린 투입후 당뇨병군이 정상군과 비교하여 인산화량의 증가정도가 약 25% 감소하였다. 결론: 제2형 당뇨병 환자에서 정상인과 비교하여 인슐린 자극후 IR-β는 인산화량의 증가정도가 큰 차이가 없었으나, IRS, Akt kinase, GSK-3에서는 인산화량의 증가 정도가 감소되는 것으로 보아 상위 인슐린 신호전단체계부터 결함이 있는 것으로 생각된다. Background: The glucose uptake rate is the limiting step in glucose utilization and storage. The failure of insulin to stimulate glucose uptake in muscle appears to be a primary defect of insulin resistance. This study was undertaken to examine the effect of physiological hyperinsulinemia on the phosphorylation of the insulin receptor (IR-β), insulin receptor substrate (IRS), Akt kinase and GSK-3 in isolated skeletal muscle, in people with type 2 diabetes(n=9) and control subjects(n=11). Methods: 75g OGTT and euglycemic hyperinsulinemic clamp test were done. And vastus lateralis muscle was obtained before and 30 min into the euglycemic clamp. Western blots were performed for tyrosine phosphroylation of insulin receptor substrate (IRS) and phosphorylation of the insulin receptor(IR-β), Akt and GSK-3. Result: There were no statistical differences in the mean age, BMI and body fat between the control subjects and diabetic patients. The fasting blood sugar and HbA_1c in controls and diabetic patients were 98.0±0.3 and 208.1±16.5ng/dl, and 5.4±0.5 and 9.2±0.6%, and 1.4±0.2 in the control subjects, and 72.2±52.3%(p<0.01) and 10.2±6.3(p<0.01) in the diabetic patients, respectively. The insulin resistance from the euglycemic hyperinsulinemic clamp test were 8.2±0.6㎎/㎏/min and 3.7±1.1ng/㎏/min in the control subjects and in the diabetic patients, respectively(p<0.01). Compared with the normal controls, insulin-stimulated IR phosphorylation was no different to that in the diabetic patients. However, insulin-stimulated IRS phosphorylation, insulin-stimulated Akt phosphorylation and insulin-stimulated GSK-3 phosphorylation were reduced in the diabetic patients compared with the normal controls by 24, 43 and 25%, respectively(p<0.05). Conclusion: In Korean type 2 diabetic patients, the insulin resistance may be due to the impairment of the upstream insulin signal molecular network. Further studies will focus on determining whether these signaling defects are the cause of the development of insulin resistance, or secondary to the altered metabolic state, associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus (J Kor Soc Endocrinol 17:685∼697, 2002).

      • 영광원자력발전소 주변의 식생과 식물현존량 추정

        영광원자력발전소 주변의 식생에 대한 식물사회학적 조사를 실시하였으며, 순 1차 생산량과 식물현존량을 추정하였다. 또한 상관에 의해 현존식생도 및 녹지자연도를 작성하였다(1:50,000). Z-M 방식에 의한 삼림식생은 소나무군락과 곰솔군락으로 구분되었다. 전체적으로 교목층에 소나무와 곰솔, 아교목층에 졸참나무와 곰솔, 관목층에 털진달래와 신갈나무, 초본층에 털대사초와 그늘사초 등의 피복지수가 우세하게 나타났다. 토양의 pH는 4.65∼4.67, 유기물 함량은 7.28∼7.53%의 범위였다. 현존식생도에 의한 분포비율은 경작지(67%), 소나무(21.9%) 및 곰솔군락(9.1%)의 순으로 나타났으며, 녹지자연도는 등급 2가 67%(경작지), 7등급(이차림(A))과 6등급(조림지)이 각각 29.2%와 1.8%로 나타났다. Montreal model에의한 소나무림과 곰솔림의 식물현존량은 657,817.2와 177,367.0ton으로 각각 산정되었다. The forest vegetation and estimation of phytomass and net primary production in the vicinity of Yonggwang Atomic Power Plant were analyzed on the basis of the phytosociological data. Depending on physiognomy, the actual vegetation map and the degree of green naturality(DGN) were also drawn in the scale of 1:50,000. According to Z-M method, the forest vegetation was classified into two communities; Pinus densiflora and Pinus thunbergii communities. It was generally shown that Pinus densiflora and Pirus thunbergii in tree-1 layer, Quercus serrata and Pinus thunbergii in tree-2 layer, Rhododendron mucronulatum var. ciliatum and Quercus serrata in shrub layer, and Carex ciliato-marginata and Carex lanceolata in herb layer had high coverage index. The pHs and contents of organic matter of the forest soils collected in each sites were in the 4.64 to 4.67 and 7.28% to 7.53% in average, respectively. The distribution area of each vegetationindex. The distribution of the degree of green naturality(DGN) was 67% in the second-grade (cultivated land), 29.2% in 7th grade (second forest(A)) and 1.8% in 6th grade (plantation). It was estimated that phytomass of Pinus densiflora and Pinus thunbergii in the study sites, which was calculated by Montreal model, was 657,817.2 and 177,367.0 ton, respectively.
