QoS 에이전트를 이용한 사이버 화상상담 시스템의 설계 및 구현

This paper describes the design and implementation of cyber video consultation systems(CVCS) using a QoS(Quality of Service) agent for video consultation between remote sites. The proposed system is based on client-server and P2P(Peer to Peer) architecture, where client-server is used for communication with the MCU(Multipoint Control Unit) and P2P is used for the cyber video consultation. The developed video consultation system decreases server traffic, and cuts down network expenses, as the multimedia data decentralizes to the client by P2P, based on the QoS agent in the server. Also the developed system is tested by the group-type video consultation system using communication protocol and application software through Ethernet networks.

Facile fabrication of porous Sn-based catalysts for electrochemical CO₂ reduction to HCOOH and syngas

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Porous Sn and Sn-based binary catalysts are facilely fabricated by an electrodeposition method. Varying conditions for Sn electrodeposition enables a control of Sn roughness, which exhibits a significant effect on catalytic performance for electrochemical CO<SUB>2</SUB> reduction. At a specific applied potential, the porous Sn catalyst with relative roughness factor of 56.5 demonstrates a HCOOH Faradaic efficiency of 40.7% with a H<SUB>2</SUB>/CO ratio of 2.2. Further improvement of the HCOOH Faradaic efficiency to 59.2% is achieved by using a porous Sn<SUB>0.29</SUB>In<SUB>0.71</SUB> catalyst. P2P 기반 다자간 화상회의 시스템의 구현

This paper describes the implementation of multi-party video conference system based on P2P(Peer to Peer) architecture. The implemented multi-party video conference system is based on a client-server and P2P architecture, where client-server is used for communication with the MCU(Multipoint Control Unit) and P2P is used for the real time video conference. The implemented video conference system decreases the traffic of server, and cuts down the load of a network. Also, the implemented system is tested by the multi-party video conference system using communication protocol and application software through Ethernet networks.

상호작용 기반 온라인 시험을 위한 부정행위 방지 시스템의 설계 및 구현

Online test is difficult to supervise because users take a test individually anywhere. In this paper, we propose preventing method against cheating at online test based on interactive using personal and class informations that they registered cyber management system. To prevent of cheat they use keyboard and camera authentication method and users can take the personal authentication questions naturally without burden during the test. The proposed method limits the time to put answers so it can identify oneself. The method can check whether users are taking the test and cheating through the test result without stopping the test. It also uses keyboard authentication and camera authentication by face detection and can prevent online test from cheating.

음역과 영상 화면구성의 상관관계에 관한 연구 : 알프레드 히치콕의 영화 "싸이코"를 중심으로

오늘날 우리는 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스를 통해 방대한 뉴미디어 콘텐츠를 생산하고 소비하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 뉴미디어 특히 그중에서도 가장 큰 비중을 차지하는 영상미디어에 초점을 맞추었다. 영상 미디어는 시각적인 화면과 청각적인 사운드로 구성된다. 이 두 부분은 동일한 시간상에서 상호적으로 작용하여 시청자에의 시각과 청각을 자극한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 알프레드 히치콕의 영화 "싸이코"의 주요 쇼트(shot)들을 대상으로 각 쇼트들의 전달하고자 하는 내용 및 의미와 이를 시각적으로 표현하는 화면의 구성과 구성의 변화 그리고 청각적으로 표현하는 사운드의 음역의 상관관계를 분석하고 영상미디어에서의 음역과 영상 화면구성의 관계성과 특징에 대해 규명하였다. Nowaydays we consume and product a lot of new media contents by various multimedia technology. So this study is focus on movie media in new media contents. Because it plays a very important role in the field. Movie media consists of visual screen and acoustic sound. these two parts interact with each other and stimulate human's feeling at the same time. Thus in this paper we analyzed Alfred Hitchcock's famous movie "Psycho" to find correlation between screen composition and sound. For analyzing the movie we selected important shots in the movie and analyzed the shots's screen composition composition's change and sound spectrum.. we come to the conclusion of some features about correlation between screen composition and sound spectrum through the movie's analyzed shots.

Design of Bidirectional Remote Control Module of LED Advertisement Streetlight by User Participation Control

It is time to collect the consumer’s feedback to utilize the new variables of the system in any fields of processes or systems, yet the street sculptures using the streetlight as one of the offline advertisements are maintained and exposed in the form of unidirectional communication. The advertisement participation by the control for external advertisements or sculptures of the consumers can be a new paradigm of the street advertisement. This study aimed to design the system so as for multiple consumers of the advertisements to be able to control them, and to realize the remote sculptures exposed again by their participations. Additionally, LED advertisement streetlight which can be used efficiently in the street is feasible to self-charge by the sunlight, to control remotely, and to deliver the information of voltage and LED power consumption status. With this system, we anticipate to provide the users with the efficient illumination information and its control.

Design and Implementation of Mobile Game System for Vitalization of Culture Tourism

The travel pattern is changing to provision of personal customized information through the mobile based tourism service due to distribution of Smart devices. Easy acquisition of the tourism information through mobile devices changes the existing tourism based on looking around to approaching the in-depth tourism information and the type of information also changes to various types such as game or mission carry-out from the simple information. This paper studied the methods to experience and acquire the educational tourism information through not only the provision of the simple information through the location based service of the tourist sites but also carrying out the mission using the location based sensors, Question typed game, joint solution and competing solution and designed and implemented a mobile game system to vitalize the culture tourism.

Digital signage has seen its demand increasing with a mergence between ubiquitous computing technologies getting vigorous, in addition to the distribution of mobile devices and the provision of convenience through various application for their users. Furthermore, it has contributed to the expansion of a cultural event area and the raised attention of people. This study researched into the position determination methods which enable a motion scheduling based on the location of people using position determination technology and provide individualized display contents according to the demands for an ‘interaction’ through bilateral communication, control, responsiveness, personalization and participation. This research outcome is not only expected to enable the utilization and effective delivery of cultural contents beyond the time and space but to elevate a usefulness value of an individual tourism content.

Pre/post-processing of Text Mining Techniques Improved through Referring to the Trend Dictionary

Needs for the collection of data for text mining of the case with many protolanguages or emotional words distributed in SNS and following trends, and the treatment process method of purification of improved data in a previous step are raised. In data collection for mining, the online trend dictionary based on tag was referred and semi-structured data was effectively parsing processed based on tags of dictionaries according to domains of treating languages, and data for analysis was collected. Additionally, there were the cases to show inefficiency in the text processing of the general genre or the limitation of noun extraction, however, it can be suggested as an alternative on searching trend vocabularies which requires the timeliness or the class processing for corpus work of sentiment dictionary.
