This paper describes the modification required to produce an efficient three-phase Load-flow using as a reference the single-phase fast-decoupled algorithm. The algorithm provides, fast and reliable convergence even with extreme conditions of steady-state unbalance.

Today, the commutatorless motor is widely sued and studided. And, the driving methed is presented. The natural commutation using the thyristor invertor is not needed the supplementary circuits and simplified the control circuits Therefore, it is expected that the reliability is increasing But, the main defects of the motor is needed the position detecting devices attached to the motor outside And, certain mechanical attachment errors affect the output and efficiency of the motor Therefore, this paper proposes the motor driving techniques without the using of the supplementary devices. With the detection of inducing voltage, control of thyristor and zero-crossing signals, it is achieved Also, it is stable and practicable in a whole ranges.

This model is built up according to the ecologic relationships between different epidemiological types of individuals. A Markovian process is associated to the epidemic control process with a finite number of states and a discrete time. {Y_(t), t≥0} The quantitative aspect of the model was characterized by digital computer simulation.

A newly derived O₂ Saturation Model which can adapted to the design and study of Artificial Lung and Blood Gas Calculator etc. is introduced on the of Electrical Equivalent Circuits. The presented 4 stage and 2 stage RC circuits have good correlations with actual chemical reactions of Hemoglobin and Oxygen. However from the results of computer simulations, 2 stage equivalent model is more accurate than 4 stage and conventional O₂ saturation models.

We present a retrospective study on the characteristics of head injury in the aged (more than 60 years of age). We selected 107 patients who visited the Chung Ang Gil Hospital due to head injury from January 1994 to December 1994. For comparison, data from 598 patients who were less than 60 years of age during same study period was used. In the aged, pedestrian traffic accident, slip or fall, and unknown trauma were common as a cause of head injury. The rate of intracranial mass lesion was higer in the aged. Contusional hemorrhage and subdural hematoma were common in the aged, while epidural hemotoma was the most common lesion in the young. The frequency of delayed lesion and intracranial mass lesion without skull fracture were more common in the aged. The rate of operative treatment and the mortality rate of the aged were higher than those of the young. This study revealed that the cause of head injury in the aged was different from that of the young, and the rates of intracranial mass lesion and de-layed lesion were higher in the aged, which increased the proportion of the patients with low GCS, and made the prognosis of the aged poor.

Subway development can relieve the traffic congestion, create pleasant living environments, and shape a city with balance. Subway development can also accelerate domestic and international progress by making the best use of underground space, focusing on effective land use. Today, however, we have put too much emphasis on the function of "Transportation" in developing the subway and have ignored the importance of advancing the subway stations as a part of the city's space. As a result, we haven't made any progress in developing the subway area. Accordingly the purpose of this research is to create a comprehensive program for the development of the subway area, focusing on the first subway line now under construction in Taegu, and formulating a blueprint for developing the subway area for a selected district among the case districts. By taking the distinctive qualities of each target district into consideration, we have chosen 3 regions in the central area, 5 regions in the downtown area, and 4 regions outside the city as case districts. We also have set the range of the subway area and examined how th land is used and how the commercial facilities are distributed. Based on that study, we did a survey of the residents of the districts and added those results to back up our research.

This study aimed at seeking system characteristic constant in power system as simple as possible and, by using it, calculating optimum reactive power source. The results are as follow. 1. The theory employed in this research showed the excellence of obtaining system characteristic constant as fast as possible. 2. Any system characteristic constant reasonable to the system's flow condition, whether it was on heavy or light load, was to be obtained. 3. The validity of the theory was affirmed by some calculating examples in terms of model system.

Constant vigil kept by the public health organizations around the world has helped to allay the danger of full-scale epidemic outbreaks. This preventive efforts are always underway to improve the control procedures so as to reduce this expenditure and get maximum benefits with minimum outlay. The mathematical models of epidemics, by providing a better insight into the machanisms of disease spread, has indirectly contributed to the fulfilment of the above stated goal. The epidemic control models is used for determining an optimum control strategy by the direct application of Pontryagin's Minimum principle.

This paper analyzed the static voltage collapse phenomenon and the dynamic voltage collapse phenomenon by means of fluctuations of active-reactive power and the fluctuations of active power offered an output from the load bus respectively. The results are summarized as follows 1. In static state, the voltage collapse value can be computed by applying the equilibrium equation of active- reactive power to Jacobian, the bifurcation point can be also found. 2. The voltage collapse broke out by the reactive power loss and it is found that the active power has an effect on the voltage collapse phenomenon. 3. When a disturbance is given to the active power of the infinite bus voltage side, it is showed that a voltage is collpased by change of the load angle and the current in a dynamic fuctuation of the transient internal voltage E'_(q), E'_(d).
