Design of optimized DOE to convert gaussian beam to uniform·beam for holographic application

In this paper, the design of two diffractive optical elements for converting the Gaussian beam to the uniform beam using the simulation Tool(Code-V) is presented. DOEs, which are thin optical elements, are useful for mobile camera, thin lens system and optical system. We proposed an uniform design for holographic application using two DOEs. First, the general concept and theory in DOEs are presented. Second, the beam tracking process for uniform shaping is illustrated by applying DOE theory. In mathematical processing by the simulation, the DOE factor for making the beam distribution is obtained using the Code-V Tool. As a result, the uniform beam using optimized system is obtained.

Paradoxical embolism is a kind of stroke caused by embolism of thrombus of venous origin through a lateral opening in the heart, such as a patent foramen ovale (PFO). Although the most frequent manifestation of paradoxical embolism is cryptogenic stroke, noncerebral paradoxical embolism is also associated with PFO. We experienced a case of cryptogenic renal infarction in a previously healthy 70-year-old man. He had no cardiac thrombus on transthoracic echocardiography and electrocardiogram revealed a normal sinus rhythm. Because it was cryptogenic renal infarction, we performed transesophageal echocardiography with microbubble test. Microbubble test using agitated saline proved the presence of right-to-left shunt and patent foramen ovale was diagnosed. We also performed lower leg doppler ultrasonogram, but there was no evidence of deep vein thrombosis. Although only the presence of a right-to-left shunt is not enough to establish the diagnosis of paradoxical embolism, it is uncommon for the source of the embolism to be identified. In this case, we concluded that paradoxical embolism is the cause of renal embolism. We report paradoxical renal embolism through PFO with review of relevant literatures.

To determine the contents and range of the textbook of communication in healthcare, using Modified Delphi method, experts committee group was launched by Korean Association of Medical College and Korean Academy on Communication in Healthcare. Basic contents was composed after review of 4 international guidelines (SEGUE, Kalamazoo Consensus, Calgary-Cambridge Guides, Macy guide) and 2 domestic guidelines. The basic contents was revised according to professors who is in charge of medical communication in 41 Korean medical schools. 15 chapters (4 introduction chapters, 2 practice process chapters, 9 challenging situations chapters) was decided by 4 committee group meetings and 2 review questionnaires. Revision and update need to be done according to the medico-social consensus. And more specific guideline need to be formulated by many healthcare personnel.
투과형 기록구조에서 반사형 포토폴리머의 광학 특성 및 미세패턴 기록

본 논문에서는 반사형 포토폴리머의 투과형 기록구조에서의 광학 특성을 분석하고 전반사 홀로그램 기법이 적용된 반사형 포토폴리머를 이용하여 미세패턴을 기록하였다. 투과형 포토폴리머는 대칭형 입사구조에서 $40^{\circ}$ 일 때 최대 효율을 보였으나 반사형 포토폴리머는 $60^{\circ}{\sim}80^{\circ}$에서 90% 이상의 회절효율을 보였다. 미세패턴 기록에서 10배 및 100배로 확대하여 측정한 결과 선 패턴과 점 패턴 간격 모두 $1{\mu}m$ 까지 구분할 수 있었다. In this paper, we analyze the optical properties of the transmission grating recorded in a reflection-type photopolymer. Recording and reconstruction of the micropattern using a total internal reflection hologram applied to a reflection type photopolymer are studied. The transmission-type photopolymer was shown to have the maximum diffraction efficiency in $40^{\circ}C$ symmetric structure. However, that of reflection type photopolymer was more than 90% at $60{\sim}80^{\circ}$. The line and point patterns with the interval of $1{\mu}m$ are recorded successfully and can be observed when the micro objective lenses with 10 and 100 time magnification are used.

Sell call radio buoy is mostly used for searching for the location of fishing nets. Sell call radio buoy for the detection of the code uses the band pass filter(BPF). All BPF is used by imported from Japanese companies. But, Japanese companies stopped selling buoys for searching for the location of fishing nets, and domestic manufacturing companies could not sell buoys any more. Therefore, In this paper, a new method to replace the conventional buoy code detector is proposed. The proposed methods are constructed with an analog filter division composed of BPFs and notch filters as well as a microprocessor with analog digital converters. The advantage of proposed methods is able to combine various codes, can enhance receiver sensitivity. The experimental results confirm the usefulness of the proposed method.

According to the rapid growth of high speed and precise industry, the application of synchronous motor has been increased. In the application fields, the large synchronous motor is not a self-starting motor. The rotor is heavy and, from a dead stop, it is impossible to bring the rotor into magnetic lock with the rotating magnetic field for this reason, all synchronous motor have some kinds of starting device. A simple starter is another motor which brings the rotor up to approximately 96 percent of it synchronous speed. The starting motor is disconnected and the rotor locks in step with the rotating field. The more commony used starting method is to have the rotor to include a squirrel cage indution winding. This indution winding brings the rotor almost to synchronous speed as an induction motor. So, this paper describes excessive condition interpretation of a exciter circuit to prevent starting failure of large synchronous motor. the large synchronous motor needs safety of it in accordance with operating frequent start and stop. the operating problem point of synchronous motor appears potential element damage of Exciter circuit because synchronous motor is caused synchronous separation. hence we eliminate it and improve starting toque.
