Background and Objectives: Breast carcinoma is a heterogenous disease. The prognosis of this carcinoma correlates with various prognostic factors. The aim of this study was to assess the prognostic significance of expression of p53, cyclin Dl and cathepsin D protiens in association with various prognostic factors in invasive breast carcinoma. Materials and Methods: The relationship is presented between expression of p53, cyclin D1 and cathepsin D by immunohistochemistry and various established prognostic factors such as tumor size, histologic grade, lymph node status and extensive intraductal component in 55 cases of invasive breast carcinoma. Results: No significant correlations were observed between expression of p53, cyclin Dl and cathepsin D and tumor size. The expression of p53 correlated with high histologic grade. The expression of p53 and cyclin Dl correlated with lymph node metastasis. Conclusion: These results indicate that expression of p53 and cyclin Dl in invasive ductal carcinoma may be an important prognostic factor, closely related to the high histologic grade and lymph node metastasis.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the knowledge and attitudes of oncology ward nurses toward cancer pain management and to find ways to improve the educational program for nurses. Method: A total of 209 nurses working at the oncology ward of three hospitals in Seoul and a Gyenggi Province. The survey instrument used was the 32-item scale for evaluating nurses knowledge and attitudes originally developed by McCaffery and Ferrell'(1990). that was by Kim'(1997). Result: In terms of the nurses knowledge of pain management. the result showed that the nurses scored an average of 67.8 out of 100 for phamacokinetics of opioids. 84.8 for classification of analgesics, 60.1 for pain assessment, and 70.7 for drug administration. 18.2% of the nurses hesitate to inject the narcotic agent because of concerns regarding the drug's potential side effects. there was significant difference in the knowledge of pain management according to the general characteristics of pain in terms of the nurses age(p=.001), position (p=.016). years of experiences(p=.002), experience of cancer pain education(p= .001). Conclusion: The also showed that nurses working at cancer ward lack knowledge. It is important to provide intensive education to nurses about cancer pain management.

This study was performed to select indicator microorganism practically applicable to water treatment plants for evaluating the removal of microorganisms such as viruses and protozoan cysts. Total of seven microorganisms were investigated. Four microorganisms for representing bacteria (E. coli, fecal coliform (FC), total coliform (TC) and heterotrophic plate counts (HPC)), two for protozoan (aerobic spore formers (ASF) and Clostridium perfringens (CP) spore) and one for viruses (F-specific RNA coliphage) were examined as a possible indicating microorganism. Each candidate microorganism was measured every month for 20 months in source and treated water of three water treatment plants (WTPs) characterized with varying water quality (lake or river; high or low BOD). The distribution of microorganisms in source and treated water were measured, and log removals of microorganisms in each water treatment plant were compared. Major findings are that ASF and HPC appeared to be the best indicator microorganism for evaluating pathogenic removal in water treatment plant although ASF was considered better. This decision was made from the following three criteria i) not only high but also stable level in the source water enough for quantitative evaluation, ii) the feasibility of detection method, iii) stability of the organisms in the water environment. For HPC and CP, the growth of microorganism and no detection in treated water were indicated as a weak point, respectively in this consideration.
Evaluation for Impacts of Nitrogen Source to Groundwater Quality in Livestock Farming Area

We investigated 52 livestock farming complexes in Gyeong-Gi and Incheon provinces based on low, medium, and high livestock density and groundwater quality. The objective of this study was to evaluate a relationship between nitrate N concentration in groundwater and animal factors, such as livestock density and animal species. 2,200 groundwater samples for 3 years from 2012 to 2014 at Gyeong-Gi and Incheon provinces were collected and analyzed for pH, EC, DO, ORP, temperature, major anions and cations, such as NO₃-N, HCO₃<SUP>-</SUP>, PO₄<SUP>-</SUP>, SO₄<SUP>2-</SUP>, Cl<SUP>-</SUP>, NH₄-N, K<SUP>+</SUP>, Na<SUP>+</SUP>, Ca<SUP>2+</SUP>, Mg<SUP>2+</SUP>, T-N, and TOC. Average concentration of total N for generated load density was 23,973 g day<SUP>-1</SUP> km<SUP>-2</SUP> for cattle, 51,551 g day<SUP>-1</SUP> km<SUP>-2</SUP> for pig, and 52,100 g day<SUP>-1</SUP> km<SUP>-2</SUP> for poultry. For animal feeding species, average ratio for generated load over discharge load was 16.1% for cattle, 7.8% for pig, and 7.1% for poultry. Therefore, cattle feeding region is highly vulnerable for water pollution compared to pig and poultry feeding areas. The concentrations of chloride, nitrate, and total N in the groundwater samples were higher at high animal farming regions than other regions. The average concentration of nitrate, and chloride in groundwater samples was 5.0 mg L<SUP>-1</SUP>, 16.6 mg L<SUP>-1</SUP> for low livestock density, 6.9 mg L<SUP>-1</SUP>, 17.7 mg L<SUP>-1</SUP> for medium livestock density and 7.6 mg L<SUP>-1</SUP>, 22.7 mg L<SUP>-1</SUP> for high livestock density and total nitrogen (T-N) was 7.7 mg L<SUP>-1</SUP> for low livestock density, 9.4 mg L<SUP>-1</SUP> for medium livestock density, 10.7 mg L<SUP>-1</SUP> for high livestock density. In conclusion, based on this research, for managing groundwater quality near livestock farming regions, Ca-(Cl+NO₃) group from the Piper diagram is more efficient than using 19 factors for water quality standard.

최근 IT분야에서 클라우드 컴퓨팅 기술은 유연성, 효율성, 비용절감이라는 특징을 갖고 있어 현 사회에 빠르게 보급되고 있다. 그러나 클라우드 컴퓨팅 시스템은 보안의 취약점을 크게 갖고 있다. 본 연구에서는 클라우드 컴퓨팅 시스템 보안의 취약점 해결을 위해, 가상머신의 취약점에 대한 유형 및 영향분석 타입(impact type)을 정하고, 가상머신의 취약점에 대한 위험도 평가에 따른 우선순위를 정하였다. 취약점 분석을 위해서는 오픈프레임워크인 CVSS2.0을 기반으로 취약점에 대한 위험도 측정 기준을 정의하고 해당 취약점마다 점수를 매겨 위험도 측정을 체계화하였다. 제시된 취약점 위험도 기준은 취약점의 근본적인 특징을 제시하고 취약점에 대한 위험도를 제공하여 취약점 최소화를 위한 기술적 가이드를 작성하는 데에 활용 가능할 것으로 판단된다. 또한 제시된 취약점위험도 기준은 연구내용 자체로 의미가 있으며 향후 추진될 기술 정책프로젝트에서 활용될 수 있다. Recently in the field of IT, cloud computing technology has been deployed rapidly in the current society because of its flexibility, efficiency and cost savings features. However, cloud computing system has a big problem of vulnerability in security. In order to solve the vulnerability of cloud computing systems security in this study, impact types of virtual machine about the vulnerability were determined and the priorities were determined according to the risk evaluation of virtual machine`s vulnerability. For analyzing the vulnerability, risk measurement standards about the vulnerability were defined based on CVSS2.0, which is an open frame work; and the risk measurement was systematized by scoring for relevant vulnerabilities. Vulnerability risk standards are considered to suggest fundamental characteristics of vulnerability and to provide the degree of risks and consequently to be applicable to technical guides to minimize the vulnerability. Additionally, suggested risk standard of vulnerability is meaningful as the study content itself and could be used in technology policy project which is to be conducted in the future.
