        In Ham Seduk's drama, the change based on the situation resulted in the expansion of the world of his drama by his sensitive reponding to the emotion of audience and the social context as a playwriter. This change was also the way of the writer to cope with the times who couldn't give up his drama in any situation. One aspect of this change is that the power of hostility which Is incorporated with prejudice, selfish purpose, and greed becomes the object of satire in late drama. On the other side of this change, the writer pursues the world with freedom and love by getting out of repression and bondage and the desire of the human life from early to late drama. This is the very world of 'mother' who Donyum tries to look for. The writer could engage in creative writing without any censorship only after being freed from Japanese imperialism. His intention in late drama is extended to the mass of people and nationalism. The stength which suppresses the human life of the people becomes an issue. He believes that the left guarantees the human life because of his disillusion about the reality which combines the power of the pro-Japanese with the right. This belief makes him choose unhappiness.

        A drama written by a novelist There two types of characters in the dramas written by Choi, Inhoon. The first type is pro-power; the other is pro-love. The second type should choose between dying and becoming insane. The isolation from the world means the death in the world. The only character of the drama, Hans & Gretel, who belongs to the second type but doesn't die, is Gretel. Most of important characters in his drama are outsiders. They are dreaming about soaring from where they are; however they always lose in the fight with the reality. They always belong to the second type. The writer's sarcastic attitude toward the world becomes the friendly one as 'Shimcheong' turns her misfortune into happiness and Hans takes love. Dramas by Choi are considered to have both dramatic and literary values. In a series of dramas, he embodies his consistent message; what the origin of Korean hearts is. In 'Hans and Gretel', he writes a story about person standing aloof from the world as a modern Korean is created in his effort to attain universality. His works make a great contribution to the upgrading of Korean drama in the history of Korean literature.

        리스페리돈으로 무월경이 발생한 여자 정신분열병 환자의 우울, 불안, 삶의 질에 관한 연구

        Objectives : Amenorrhea, one of the most common side effects of neuroleptics, has known to be associated with prolactin elevation. Hyperprolactinemia seriously affects mental health causing depression, anxiety or hostility, while also affecting physical health causing amenorrhea, galactorrhea or sexual dysfunction. The possible correlation between nsperidone-induced amenorrhea and depression, anxiety and quality of life was evaluated in a cross-sectional open study. Methods : During a five-month period, WHO quality of life-BREF (WHOQOL), Beck depression inventory (BDI) and state-trait anxiety inventory (STAI) were applied twice at two-month intervals for 30 patients with risperidone-induced amenorrhea and 22 patients without amenorrhea. Results : Amenorrhea group had significantly higher scores in BDI and STAI-state, while showing lower scores in the quality of life than control group. The total BDI and STAI-state scores were more negatively correlated with WHOQOL score in amenorrhea group. Conclusion : Patients with risperidone-induced amenorrhea rated themselves significantly more depressed and more an-xious, and a lower quality of life compared to the control group, Clinicians should be more active in evaluating and treating hypemrolactinemic side effects such as amenorrhea, galactorrhea, depression and anxiety.

      • 진단검사의학과 검사건수에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석

        Objective : The purpose of this study is investigating variables affecting the numbers of clinical laboratory tests. Method : Data about the number of clinical laboratory tests, hospital characteristics, and the number of patients between January 1999 and December 1999 was collected. Data resources were Statistical Yearbook, Standardization Audit by Korean Hospital Association and Internal Data Set of each hospital. Hospital characteristics were hospital ownership, tertiary care hospital, duration since opening, licensed hospital beds, the rates of medical inpatient and outpatient. Multiple regression analysis was applied to find factors affecting the number of clinical laboratory tests. Models for WBC, RBC, Hb, Hct, PLT, LDC, PT, PTT, AST, ALT, and GLU were statistically adequate. Results : As the results, hospital ownership, duration since opening, licensed hospital beds, the rate of medical outpatient were statistically significant. Private hospitals showed higher numbers than public hospitals, hospitals within 5 years since opening showed higher numbers than others. The licensed hospital beds was positively correlated with the numbers of the tests, whereas the rates of medical outpatient was negatively correlated. Conclusion : In conclusion, hospital characteristics affect the numbers of clinical laboratory tests. It could be a clue why the costs of medical services were different among medical facilities. 연구목적: 진단검사의학은 환자의 진료에 필수적인 요소로서 정확한 진단, 치료방향의 결정, 치료효과의 판정, 질병경과의 판단 및 예후 추정의 근거가 된다. 국내 의료기관에서는 혈액학적 검사, 미생물검사, 면역혈청검사, 면역혈액검사, 생화학검사, 기생충검사, 응급검사, 최근 효소법으로 대체되고 있는 방사성동의원소검사, 병리조직검사, 기타 특수검사 등 많은 검사를 시행하고 있다. 의료기관의 검사검수는 질병의 종류, 중증도 등에 따라 다를것으로 예상되나 검사건수에 영향을 미치는 요인을 설명하는 연구는 많지 않다. 병원의 특성은 병원의 지리적, 조직적 특성을 말하는 것으로 병원의 특성에 따라 환자의 종류 및 구성이 다르며 의료기관 종류, 진료시설, 장비수준, 관리운영상의 차이, 조직구성 등에 따라 진료비도 많은 영향을 받는다. 또한 의학기술 발달과 자동화로 인해 장비의 보유 및 사용에 의료기관이 특성이 반영될 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 의료기관의 특성이 진단의학과 검사건수의 변화에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하였다. 구체적으로 병원급 이상 의료기관의 진단검사의학과에서 발생하는 검사건수에 영향을 미치는 요인들과 그방향서을 분석하고자 하였다. 방법 : 199년 1월 1일부터 1999년 12월 31일까지의 진단검사의학과 검사건수, 각 병원별 특성, 환자 진료실적을 각 병원의 통계연보, 각 병원 표준화 심사자료, 각 병원 내부자료를 이용하여 수집하여 분석하였다. 병원조직의 특성 변수로는 설립구분, 종합전문요양기관 유무, 개설연도, 허가병상수를 선정하였고, 환자구성의 특성 변수로는 내과계 입원환자비율, 내과계 외래환자비율을 선정하였다. 검사건수는 대상 의료기관 전체에서 공토으로 시행하는 진단검사의학과의 16갖 검사항목에 대하여 분석하였다. 연구대상 의료기관의 병원특성 및 환자특성과 검사건수의 분포를 살펴보았으며 병원조직의 특성과 환자구성의 특성 변수에 대하여 t-검정 및 상관분석을 시행하여 검사건수와 관련성을 보이는 변수를 분석하였다. 검사건수에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 대하여 중회귀분석을 시행하여 16개 검사항목 중 WBC, RBC, Hb, Hct, PLT, LDC, PT, PTT, AST, ALT, GLU에 대하여 통계학적으로 타당한 모형을 구성하였다. 결과 : 1) WBC의 검사건수의 변화는 44.1%를 설명할 수 있었으며 민간병원에서, 허가병상수가 많을수록 통계학적으로 유의하게 검사건수가 증가하였고 내과계 외래환자비율이 높을수록 통계학적으로 유의하게 검사건수가 감소하였다. 2) RBC의 검사건수의 변화는 37.7%를 설명할 수 있었으며 민간병원에서 허가병상수가 많을수록 통계학적으로 유의하게 검사건수가 증가하였다. 3) Hb의 검사건수의 변화는 43%를 설명할 수 있었으며 민간병원에서 허가병상수가 많을수록 통계학적으로 유의하게 검사건수가 증가하였고 내과계 외래환자비율이 높을수록 통계학적으로 유의하게 검사건수가 감소하였다. 4) Hct의 검사건수의 변화는 39.8%를 설명할 수 있었으며 민간병원에서 허가병상수가 많을수록 통계학적으로 유의하게 검사건수가 증가하였고 내과계 외래환자비율이 높을수록 통계학적으로 유의하게 감소하였다. 5) PLT의 검사건수의 변화는 73.7%를 설명할 수 있었으며 민간병원에서 허가병상수가 많을수록 통계학적으로 유의하게 검사건수가 증가하였고 내과계 외래환자 비율이 높을수록 통계학적으로 유의하게 감소하였다. 6) PT의 검사건수의 변화는 52.0%를 설명할 수 있었으며 개설연도가 5년 이하인 병원에서, 하거병상수가 많을수록 통계학적으로 유의하게 검사건수가 증가하였고 내과계 외래환자비율이 높을수록 통계학적으로 유의하게 감소하였다. 7) PTT의 검사건수의 변화는 37.5%를 설명할 수 있었으며 허가병상수가 증가할수록 검사건수는 통계학적으로 유의하게 증가하였다. 8) AST의 검사건수의 변화는 39.1%를 설명할 수 있었으며 허가병상수가 증가할수록 검사건수는 통계학적으로 유의하게 증가하였고 내과계 외래환자비율이 높을수록 통계학적으로 유의하게 감소하였다. 9) ALT의 검사건수의 변화는 41.0%를 설명할 수 있었으며 허가병상수가 증가할수록 검사건수는 통계학적으로 유의하게 증가하였고 내과계 외래환자비율이 높을수록 통계학적으로 유의하게 감소하였다. 10) GLU의 검사건수의 변화는 25.8%를 설명할 수 있었으며 민간병원에서 통계학적으로 유의하게 검사건수가 높았고 내과계 외래환자비율이 높을수록 통계학적으로 유의하게 감소하였다. 결론 : 이상의 결과를 종합하면 검사종류에 따라 차이가 있으나 설립구분, 개설연도, 허가병상수, 내과계 외래환자비율에 따라서 검사건수에 통계학적으로 유의한 영향을 미친다고 볼 수 있다. 공공병원에 비하여 민간병원에서, 설립한 지 5년이 지난 병원에 비해 5년 이내인 병원에서 검사건수가 많고 허가병상수가 많을수록 검사건수가 증가하며 내과계 외래환자비율이 높을수록 검사건수는 감소한다. 이 연구결과에서 의료기관의 특성이 진단으학과 검사건수에 영향을 미치는것을 알 수 있었다. 검사비용은 진료비에서 큰 비중을 차지하고 있으므로 검사비용의 발생에 영향을 미치는 요인을 밝히는 것은 진료비 관리 방안 개발에 중요할 것으로 판단된다. 향후에는 보다 다양한 의료기관에 대해서 풍부한 자료를 바탕으로 진단검사 의학과 검사건수에 영향을 미치는 여러 요인들에 대한 분석이 이루어져 의료 서비스와 진료비 관리방안 개발에 기여할 수 있기를 바란다.

      • 유연구조물의 잔류진동제어를 위한 시간지연기법 연구

        본 논문에서는 유연한 부착물을 갖는 우주구조물의 회전 시 발생할 수 있는 잔류진동을 최소화하고 또한 그 응용 범위가 넓은 입력설계 방법과 등가화 된 시간 지연기법을 다루었다. 먼저 Singh과 Vadali가 제안한 제어기를 이용하여 하나의 모드에 대한 시간 지연 제어기를 설계하고 입력설계 방법과 등가화 됨을 보였다. 그리고 실제 모델에 대한 적용과 해석을 위하여 우주구조물에서 많이 사용되는 유연구조물의 운동방정식을 유도하고 해석하였고, 실험을 통하여 입력 설계 방법과 시간 지연 기법을 이용한 잔류 진동 제어에 대한 성능이 우수함을 확인할 수 있었다. In this paper, the time-delay control (TDC) design methods for command signals to minimize the induced residual vibration followed by the maneuvers of the flexible structures has been studied. The equivalence between the time-delay control and the input shaping control has been shown and TDC is applied to control the residual vibration of the flexible structure in this study. It has been shown by a series of simulation and experiments that TDC is very effective to suppress the residual vibration of flexible structure induced by its maneuvers.

        Vocal Women in Detour and Raw Deal: Narrative Gaps and the Female Voice in Film Noir

        Film noir is often described as a masculine genre, as it pivots around male narratives. In film noir, the masculine narrative attempts to contain subversive female characters, or “femmes fatales,” by turning them into spectacle, or by deploying the male voice-over narration. Although voice-over narration in film noir often grants the male narrator control over the representation of the female character, this male dominance over narration is not always all powerful. A closer reading of film noir reveals gaps in the male narrative that allow for the female narrative to push through and exert its presence. This essay examines how the woman`s story vocally and visually struggles for narrative control in two film noirs, Detour (Edgar Ulmer, 1946) and Raw Deal (Anthony Mann, 1948). A close analysis of these two films reveals that various forces operate simultaneously within each film; the film thereby becomes a negotiating ground for multiple narratives that contradict, destabilize, contest, and compete with one another. The two films present different versions of a “vocal woman” who aspires to acquire an authorial voice: a verbally potent “femme fatale” in Detour, and a woman narrator in Raw Deal. Through a textual analysis of the films` narrative, I demonstrate how disjunctions and contradictions among multiple objective and subjective viewpoints, visualized through such devices as lighting, camera movement, and shot composition, reveal narrative gaps in the film. These gaps ultimately open up interstices in the narrative for women characters to tell their stories with or without the mediation of the voice-over narration, thereby enabling more empowered readings of the noir woman. I focus on how the complex narrative structure of a film provides space for the female character to exert her presence and voice, ultimately destabilizing the hegemony of masculine power in classical Hollywood cinema.

        The Identity Crisis of Christie Love: Situating ABC's Get Christie Love in 1970s Network Television

        ABC's Get Christie Love (1974-75) was an attempt to cross gender and race barriers of network television by featuring an African-American policewoman in the title role. Coming in the wake of the civil rights movement and the women's movement of the 1960s, the premise of the show was symptomatic of existing social tensions. It showed innovation as the first hour-long television drama featuring a black female star, and the protagonist was a young, attractive working woman who deviated from the stereotypical African-American characters that often populated mainstream media. Despite its initial promise of novelty, however, the show failed to achieve ratings success, leading to its early demise. Get Christie Love faced various difficulties in terms of the text, the television industry, and the social context of the mid-1970s. It was sacrificed in the highly competitive market based on ratings, and the show encountered specific problems that included a relatively low budget, weak scripts, and the religious beliefs of the main actress. I suggest that the show suffered an identity crisis; it constantly struggled to effectively commodify the star and to categorize itself within a genre. This essay endeavors to interrogate why the show failed to challenge conventional codes of gender and race, or to spark debates on issues of race and gender with contemporary audiences. The essay further explores what this audience indifference reveals about the socio-cultural background and the institution of the television industry of the mid-1970s in the United States by examining primary documents in the show's production files and critical reception in the popular press.

        The Silenced and Spectral Voice of Women Narrators: Textual Anxieties in Brief Encounter and Letter from an Unknown Woman

        This paper analyzes two films from the 1940s, Brief Encounter (David Lean) and Letter from an Unknown Woman (Max Ophüls), to examine textual anxieties aroused by the physical, verbal, and authorial voice of the woman narrator. In both films, the first-person voiceover narration of the female protagonist generates and maneuvers flashback sequences that are central to the film’s narrative. Although the woman’s voice is ostensibly foregrounded by the narration, it is in constant peril of being silenced or becoming spectral by narrative devices that challenge the authority of female narrators and deny them ownership of the narrative. This indicates the constant struggle between the woman’s narrative agency and patriarchal discourse that negates or undermines words spoken by women. This paper discusses the narrative power granted to women narrators and interrogates the extent of this power. I identify contradictions in the text, specifically in the film’s voiceover narration and flashback structure, which elucidate the destabilizing and destabilized nature of the woman’s voice.

        “Once You Go Black”: Performative Acts of “Blackness” in Contemporary Cinema

        Media representations of race have attempted to contain blackness by packaging and commodifying it to reflect and affect preconceptions and prejudices of dominant culture. From the early beginnings of blackface minstrelsy as entertainment form in the 19th century, representations of African Americans in popular culture and mainstream media have been closely associated with the notion of performance. The performative nature of racial representations is situated within the discursive struggle over what it meant to be Black, or what it meant to be labeled and portrayed as Black in American culture. This essay discusses four films that contain performances of "blackness" that assemble race and gender in complex configurations: Bamboozled (Spike Lee, 2000), Girl 6 (Spike Lee, 1996), Big Momma`s House (Raja Gosnell, 2000), and White Chicks (Keenen Ivory Wayans, 2004). I explore how the performative nature of "blackness" is emphasized, thematized, and problematized in these films through the physicality of corporeal figures that embody the close link between race and gender identities. Once we are cognizant of the fact that race and gender are fabricated cultural constructs and performative acts, we can recognize that notions of "blackness" and "femininity" are not naturalized or essentialist, but open to recontextualization and revision.
