기능형 반대교합자의 Activator 치료후 변화에 관한 장기관찰

This investigation was carried out in order to define the changes after activator treatment on the functional crossbite patients. The data were obtained from 8 patients' serial lateral cephalograms at pre-treatment, posttreatment, and several years later. The results were as follows; 1. Increased mandibular plane angle (∠SN / MP) after activator therapy decreased to pretreatment state during posttreatment observation period. 2. Palatal plane angle (∠SN / MP) were stable during entire period from pretreatment and posttreatment to several years later. 3. Maxillary incisor angulation (∠PP / ⊥) had tendency to increase after Activator therapy. 4. Mandibular incisor angulation (∠MP / ┬) had tendency to increase after Activator therapy.

기립보행불능증 (astasia-abasia)은 양호한 근력과 운동기능을 가지고 있음에도 서거나 걷는 것이 불가능한 것을 말한다. 이것은 흔히 정신적인 질환으로 간주되지만 기질적인 원인들도 보고되고 있다. 보행영역은 근육과 말초 신경 뿐 아니라 전정-소뇌-시상-피질 연결고리의 되먹임 작용에 의한 연계가 필요하다. 우리는 길랑-바레 증후군을 가진 환자에게서 나타났던 기립보행불능증을 경험하였고, 신경염 과 함께 보행 영역 연결의 붕괴가 증상 발생과 연관이 있을 것으로 사료된다.
기능현 전치부 반대교합자의 ACTIVATOR 치료 효과에 관한 임상적 고찰

The authors treated eight mixed dentiton patients with functional anterior cross-bite by using activator. The lateral roentgenographic cephalograms were analyzed before and after treatment, and skeletal and dental changes following the activator therapy were evaluated. The results were as follows: 1. The mandible was rotated backward and downward. 2. There were labioversion of upper incisors and slight linguoversion of lower incisors. 3. There was little effect of treatment upon maxillary skeletal structures. 4. LFH was increased slightly and soft tissue profile was improved.
경주마 생체시료에서의 난드로론과 대사체의 검출 및 정량

In veterinary practice, anabolic steroid the nandrolone have been widely used in androgen therapy and illegal treatment. So current study was undertaken to quantify the steroids (nandrolone and its major metabolite estranediol) after administration and develope the screening method for the detection of anabolic steroid residues in equine body fluids. In the equine plasma, after extracted by disposable C18 Sep-pak cartridge with elution solvent, the organic layer was evaporated to dryness. The residue was subjected to LC/MS/MS analysis. After LC/MS/MS analysis, liquid chromatographic retention time data and mass spectral data were used for the detection and identification of nandrolone. The good quality control and recovery range were obtained for the present method. In the urine, after enzyme hydrolysis, the urine was extracted by disposable C18 Sep-pak cartridge and diethyl ether. After the ether layer was evaporated to dryness, the residue was subjected to derivatization prodedure and GC/MS analysis. After GC/MS analysis, both gas chromatographic retention time and mass spectral data were used for the detection and identification of estranediol. Also good quality-control data and recovery range were obtained for the present method. Using these methods, the concentrations of nandrolone and estranediol were determined in equine plasma and urine. Excretion profile of nandrolone presents the rapid increase up to maximum values at Days 4 after dosing and the slow regression in plasma and estrandiol major urinary metabolite of nandrone also presents increase up to maximum values at Days 5 after dosing and slow regression in urine.
