A site plan for 16,110 persons and area of 308,569㎡ was planned by Chonju City. This paper is to study the effects of the site development on Sam-cheon. Average water quality of Sam-cheon was BOD_5 46.0㎎/ℓ in Jan. and Feb., which exceeded the class levels of legislated water quality obviously. If the site were developed by plan, amounts of estimated overall sewage, BOD and SS loads to Sam-cheon would be about 2,954 ㎥/day, 702 ㎏ BOD/day and 409 ㎏SS/day respectively. Even if the sewage of developed area is treated through the legislated purification system, BOD concentration of the stream would be 2.2 ㎎/ℓ more than the present by effluent of purification facilities. Therefore, to prevent more degradation of water quality at least, the pollutional regulation of total emission for the stream could be applied to Sam-cheon with a time-limit.

유암종은 전신에 퍼져 잇는 장크롬친화성 세포에서 기원하는데 위의 유암종은 비교적 드문 질환으로 모든 유암종의 1.9~2.2%에 해당하며 위에 발생하는 종양의 1% 미만에서 보고되고 있다. 유암종은 일반적으로 증상이 비특이적이고 면역조직화학검사에 의해서 진단되기 때문에 과거에는 드물게 발견되었으나 최근 내시경 기기 및 술기의 발전과 검사 빈도의 증가 및 면역조직화학검사의 발달로 진단율이 증가 추세에 있으며, 드물지만 유암종에서 선암과 공존하는 예들이 보고되고 있다. 저자들은 심와부 동통을 주소로 내원한 70세 남자 환자의 상부위장관내시경 검사에서 위체상부의 대만곡에서 0.4×0.4 cm 크기의 중간 함몰을 가진 Yamada 1형의 용종과 함께 전정부의 전벽에서 0.8×0.5 cm 크기의 융기된 점막 소견을 보여 조직학적으로 각각 위유암종 및 위선종임을 확진한 후 내시경적 용종 절제술로 치료한 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Carcinoid tumors are arisen from enterochromaffin cells, which are scattered throughout the body. These tumors are composed of variable numbers of cells that contain endocrine granules in their cytoplasm, which can be identified by immunohistochemistry and electron microscopy. Gastric carcinoid tumors are relatively rare tumor, the reported incidence being 1.9~2.2% of all carcinoid tumors and less than 1% of all gastric tumors. Sometimes, composite carcinoid tumors and adenocarcinoma is reported. We experienced a case of the coincidence of carcinoid tumor and adenoma at the other site of the stomach in a 70 year old male patient. Gastrofiberscope showed 0.4×0.4 cm sized Yamada type I polyp with central depression on the greater curvature of the proximal body and 0.8×0.5 cm sized focal slightly elevated mucosa on the anterior wall of the antrum. The endoscopic biopsy specimens revealed carcinoid tumor and tubular adenoma with moderate atypism, respectively. The carcinoid tumor and adenoma were removed by endoscopic polypectomy. According to the follow-up gastrofiberoscopy after 7 month later, both lesions were nearly normal mucosa except whitish atrophic change after polypectomy.
전차선로에 유기되는 전압에 대한 원인분석 및 대책방안 연구

무가압 전차선로에 전압이 유기되면 전차선로를 점검하는 작업자는 감전사고 및 쇼크에 의한 추락사고 등의 위험에 노출되며, 순환전류 등에 의한 전차선로 설비의 안전사고 개연성이 존재한다. 서울메트로에서 운영하고 있는 4호선 본선구간과 차량기지간에 영업종료후 본선구간 전차선에 해당 차단기가 개방 되었음에도 전차선로에 0~400[V] 정도의 전압이 유기되고 있었다. 그 원인을 한전의 노원변전실로 연결된 154kV 고압송전로에서 전압이 유도되는 것과 본선구간과 차량기지간 절연구분장치의 성능저하 등으로 볼 수 있으나 전차선로에 유기되는 전압의 정확한 원인을 파악하고자 실제 전차선에 유기되는 전압을 측정하고 경로를 파악하기 위하여 디지털기록계 및 자체 제작한 전압변환장치를 활용하여 연구를 수행하였다. 본 논문에서는 전차선로에 유기되는 전압의 원인을 파악하고 분석하는 과정과 그 해결방안을 제시코자 한다. Insecticidal activities of Various Plant Extract against Four Agricultural Insect Pests

The toxicity of methanol extract from 28 plants toward four agricultural insect pests were examined using contact toxicity bioassay with spray methods. At a concentration of 1,000 ppm Achyranthes japonica whole body was observed strong activity against Myzus persicae. Paeonia lactiflora root and Corydalis turtschaninovii rhizome methanol extract were observed strong activity toward Tetranychus urticae. Catalpa ovata leaf and Ginkgo biloba leaf and stem methanol extracts were revealed high activity toward Nilaparvata lugens. Actium lap root methanol extract was observed moderate activity against Plutella xylostella. High or moderate insecticidal activity of plant extracts were listed in Fig.1. These plant resource, particularly plant methanol extract or insecticidal constituents, merit further as potential insect pest control agents or leads because of their great activity as a insecticide.

Effects of coolant pre-cooling and fuel pre-heating on the performance of a combined cycle using a F-class gas turbine were investigated. Coolant pre-cooling results in an increase of power output but a decrease in efficiency. Performance variation due to the fuel pre-heating depends on the location of the heat source for the pre-heating in the bottoming cycle (heat recovery steam generator). It was demonstrated that a careful selection of the heat source location would enhance efficiency with a minimal power penalty. The effect of combining the coolant pre-cooling and fuel pre-heating was also investigated. It was found that a favorable combination would yield power augmentation, while efficiency remains close to the reference value.
Prediction of golden time using SVR for recovering SIS under severe accidents

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Nuclear power plants (NPPs) are designed in consideration of design basis accidents (DBAs). However, if the safety injection system (SIS) is not working properly in a loss-of-coolant-accident (LOCA) situation, it can induce a severe accident that exceeds DBAs. Therefore, it is important to properly actuate the SIS before a DBA becomes a severe accident. If the SIS is not working in time, the reactor core may be uncovered and the reactor vessel (RV) may be damaged. In this paper, we defined the golden time as the available time from an initial SIS malfunction for actuating the SIS to prevent reactor core uncovery and RV failure. A support vector regression (SVR) model was applied to predict the golden time. The input variables and parameters of the SVR model were selected and optimized by using a genetic algorithm. The data set of severe accident scenarios was obtained by using the Modular Accident Analysis Program (MAAP) code. An optimized power reactor (OPR1000) was used for the simulations.
