This study investigated the literature about science process skills' evaluation to analyse transition of evaluation objectives before and after a Scholastic Ability Test for College Entrance. In the literature survey the researcher established a 3 dimensional science assessment framework with X axis as science concept, Y axis as science process skills and Z axis as problem context. In order to analysis and compare each items the researcher selected 210 items from the 1st to the 7th trials and 138 items from the 1st to 4th Scholastic Ability Test for College Entrance and sampled 2873 science achievement test items from 10 high schools. In accordance with this taxonomy the researcher analysed and compared science process skills item forms. The following results were drawn: The items were evenly distributed in all the four areas(Earth Science, Biology, Physics and Chemistry) of the science concept domain, but they were heavily concentrated on data analysis and drawing a conclusion in science process domain. In the domain of problem context school context was the majority. In spite of distribution like this the ratio on science process skills measurement items and science achievement test items was increased after the Scholastic Ability Test for College Entrance was given. Also the ratio on item expression type was increased. Item form was almost 5 options selection type in the national level test. Although there were 4 options selection type, 5 options selection type, short answer type, essay type in school level test, rising from 33.1% to 65.5% on 5 options selection type is exhibited. This study showed that the school level item form was better various than the nation level. This point like this is the evidence for the improvement toward the science process skills test and influenced by Scholastic Ability Test for College Entrance. The ratio on the item which joined with the 3 axes had a mean of 99.3% in nation level test and mean 44.9% in school achievement test level. But the ratio in the school achievement test level increased after the Scholastic Ability Test for College Entrance was given. In view of this study we must furthermore study the item types which can evaluate validately science process skill's five stage each and evaluation method by the high school students' problem solving patterns and features in scientific inquiry on all science process skills elements.

Objective : Our purpose of this study was to evaluated the incidence of twin pregnancy with one fetal demise, predisposing factors and the maternal complications and perinatal outcomes. Patients : From January 1993 to December 1997, 5 twin pregnancy with single fetal demise after 28 weeks gestation by gestational age were observed in Soonchunhyang Kumi Hospital. Results : 1. The incidence of one fetal demise was 3.01% in twin pregnancy. 2. Maternal disseminated intravascular coagulation has not been demonstrated. 3. The predisposing factors of twin pregnancy with single fetal demise are umbilical cord torsion (40%), congenital anomaly(20%) and unknown(40%). 4. According to chorionicity, it seems that the perinatal mortality rate of monochorionic group was higher than dichorionic. Conclusion : This study suggests that monochorionic placentation is associated with increased risks of twin pregnancy with single fetal demise. But it may be partially explained due to small numbers of cases in this study.

We describe here the case of a 65-year-old women presenting with a hemorrhagic tumor around the anterior vaginal wall and vulva. She was diagnosed with malignant fibrous histiocytoma from the findings of cytological analysis of biopsied surface tissue, histopathologic analysis of biopsied, and immunohistochemical staining. In her past history, twenty years ago, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer, staging Ib and received surgical treatment and chemotherapy. Ten years ago, she received radiotherapy because of recurrence of cervical cancer in vaginal vault. After surgical excision for malignant fibrous histiocytoma, we recommended chemotherapy but she refused. After 24 months from initial diagnosis, she died.

“Geumanbyeo” is a new japonica rice variety developed by the rice breeding team of National Institute of Crop Science, RDA in 2002, which was derived from a cross between SR11878-14-4-1 of good eating-quality and high yield potential, and Suweon345 of lodging tolerance and resistance to diseases. Geumanbyeo is a medium-maturing variety with heading date of August 12 on ordinary planting in the middle plain area. It has a semi-erect plant type with culm length of 82cm, erect pubescent leaf blade and slightly tough culm with good canopy architecture. Geumanbyeo has a little bit fewer tillers per hill, and more spikelets per panicle than Hwaseongbyeo. It is slightly less tolerant to the cold stress in terms of both heading delay and spikelet fertility than Hwaseongbyeo. This variety shows delayed leaf senescence and considerable tolerance to viviparous germination at ripening stage. It shows moderately resistant to leaf blast and K1 race of bacterial blight, but susceptible to virus diseases and insect pests. The milled rice of Geumanbyeo exhibits translucent, relatively clear non-glutinous endosperm and medium-short grain. It showed lower amylose content of 18.6% and similar gelatinization temperature and better palatability of cooked rice compared to Hwaseongbyeo. The milled rice yield of this variety is about 5.32 MT/ha at ordinary culture in local adaptability test for three years. Geumanbyeo would be highly adaptable to the central lowland and mid-southern mountainous areas in Korea.
