        내인성 혈장 리튬 농도와 정신분열병

        Objectives : The aim of this study was to compare endogenous plasma lithium concentrations among schizophrenic patients classified by DSM-IV subtype and control groups and to investigate the correlation of endogenous plasma lithium concentration and psychotic symptoms in schizophrenia. Methods : Schizophrenic patients were selected among psychiatric inpatients without lithium medication and then classified by DSM-IV schizophrenia subtype, Schizophrenic patient groups were composed of 15 disorganized type, 15 paranoid type and 15 undilferentiated type schizophrenic patients. The control group was composed of 15 healthy subjects without any psychiatric disease,Endogenous plasma lithium concentrations were estimated by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer. The psychotic symptoms in schizophrenic patients were classified as positive symptoms, negative symptoms and disorganized symptoms according to andreasen classificationl about SANS and SAPS items. Endogenous plasma lithium Con-centration among three subtypes of schizophrenia and control group was compared, and correlation between endogenous plasma lithium concentrations and psychotic symptoms was examined. Rcsults : 1) Schizoprenic patients showed higher endogenous plasma lithium concentration than control groups (p=0.033). Endogenous plasma lithium concentrations were significantly different among three subtypes of schizophrenia (p=0.001). Compared with the control group, disorganized type showed higher endogenous plasma lithium concentration, but paranoid type and undifferentiated type were not significantly different. 2) Disorganized symptoms correlated with endogenous plasma lithium concentration (r=0.416, P=0.004), but negative symptom and positive symptom did not significantly correlate with endogenous plasma lithium concentration (r=0.202, P=0.184. r= -0.216, P=0.155). Conclusion : These results suggested that schizophrenic patients with disorganized symptom show the differences in utilization or distribution of endogenous lithium.

      • 神效托裏散과 그 加味方의 藥效에 關한 硏究

        In order to evaluate clinical efficacy and to improve the recipe of Sinhyotaglisan which has widely been used in "Ong-Jeaw" disease since the Sung Dynasty, a series of tests was conducted in vivo and vitro by resolving extracted powder and compound of each of the following samples: extracted powder of Sinhyotaglisan (Sample Ⅰ), Gamisinhyotaglisan A (Sample Ⅱ) obtained by adding to Sinhyotaglisan Angelicae Daliuricae Radix, Glieditisae spina, Manitis Squama and Trichosanthes Radix, and Gamisinhyotaglisan B (Sample Ⅲ) obtained by adding to Sinhyotaglisan Olibanum, Myrrha, and Fritillariae thunbergii Bulbus; and compounds of each extracted powder with the above three prescriptions(Samples Ⅳ, Ⅴ, and Ⅵ). The experimental results from the above prescriptions showed the analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anti-pyretic and antibiotic-like effects or activities as follows: 1. In analgesic activity, every experimental group proved a statistical significance in the contrast with control group. 2. In anti-inflammatory activity, extracted powder of Gamisinhyotaglisan A, the compound of each extracted powder and extracted powder of Gamisinhyotaglisan B (Samples Ⅱ, Ⅴ and Ⅲ) showed a significant difference as compared with the control group. 3. In anti-pyretic effect, extracted powder of Gamisinhyotaglisan A, the compound of each extracted powder and extracted powder of Gamisinhyotaglisan B (Samples Ⅱ, Ⅴ and Ⅲ) were effective in lowering the normal body temperature. 4. Antibiotic-like activities of the above prescriptions in liquid media were as follows: 1) Samples Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅳ and Ⅴ for Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 showed less than 25mg and Samples Ⅲ and Ⅵ showed less than 50mg of Minimal Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) in tube-dilution tests, also. 2) MICs of Samples Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ, Ⅴ and Sample Ⅵ for Streptococcus pyogenes Rosen-bach 1884 recorded 25mg/ml and 50mg/ml, respectively. 3) MICs of Sample Ⅰ, Sample Ⅱ, Samples Ⅲ, Ⅳ, Ⅴ and Sample Ⅵ for Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 10490 showed 20mg/ml, 25mg/ml, 50mg/ml and 100mg/ml, respectively. 5. Inhibitory effects of these prescriptions with 25mg contained per Disc on blood agar plate were as follows: The diameters of inhibition zone of (1) Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 to Sample Ⅴ and (2) Streptococcus pyogenes Rosenbach 1883 to Samples, Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅳ, and Ⅴ, and (3) Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 10490 to Sample I were larger than other Samples, respectively. 6. The analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-pyretic activities were most remarkable in extracted powder of Gamisinhyotaglisan A and anti-bacterial activity was most remarkable in extracted powder of Sinhyotaglisan, while all of clinical effects on these activities were experimentally recognized in extracted powder and compund of each extracted powder of Gamisinhyotaglisan A.

      • 씨름 들배지기 기술의 키네메틱 특성분석

        The purpose of this study was to analyze the kinematic variables Dul-baejiki, the most frequently used and crucial technique in Ssireum(Korean Traditional Westling) with 3dimensional analysis technique and show the kinematic characteristics of it. The subjects of this experiment were two best skilled players who have been plying in professional Ssireum team and whose weights are over 100kg(subject A) and under 100kg(subject B) each. Kinematic variables analyzed here include time, posture, and center of gravity. The mean values and the standard deviations for each variables were variables were obtained and used as basic factors for examing characteristics of Dul-baejiki motion From the data analysis discussion, the following conclusions were drawn: 1) Temporal variables The average time elapsed(TE) by phases of Dul-baejuki motion are the following. For subject A(over 100kg), TE during 1st phase was 0.69 sec(53.5%), TE during 2nd phase was 0.44 sec(34.1%), TE during 3rd phase was 0.16 sec(12.4%). For subject B(under 100kg), TE during 1st phase was 0.69 sec(55.6%). TE during 2nd phase was 0.36 sec(29.1%), TE during 3rd phase was 0.19 sec(15.3%). In the TE by phases of both subjects, the longest TE was the 1st phase, next the 2nd phase, and then the 3rd phase. 2) Center of Gravity(COG) variables Frontal Plane for both subjects showed a continuous movement rightward from pulling phase to falling phase. For Sagital Plane, subject Q moved backward in pulling phase, but subject B moved 6 cm forward until falling phase and then moved backward. For Height, subject A was situated 87.3 cm ∼106.7 cm high from the mat from initial phase throughout falling phase, subject B was situated 75 cm ∼97.1 cm.

        일본잎갈나무재의 수용성추출물 첨가가 표고버섯의 톱밥재배에 미치는 영향

        표고버섯(Lentinula edodes)의 생장이 매우 좋았던 일본잎갈나무재의 수용성 추출물(water-soluble fraction, WSF)을 분리하여 구성당을 분석한 결과, rhamnose 및 mannose는 거의 없고, glucose도 2.2%로 매우 낮았으며, arabinose가 18.3%, galactose가 75.3%로서 가장 많이 함유되어 있었다. 정제된 추출물의 arabinose와 galactose의 함량비는 1 : 3.4였다. 정제된 WSF를 완전메틸화·가수분해·가스크로마토그래피에 의하여 분석한 결과, β-1,3 결합한 D-galactopyranose가 주쇄를 이루며, 이에 galactose의 C6위에 측쇄로서 β-1,6 결합한 D-galactose와, β-1,6 결합한 L-arabinose가 존재하며, 전자는 2-3개의 D-galactopyranose가 결합을 하고 있고, 후자는 L-arabinofuranose가 1-2개 중간의 측쇄구조를 이루고, 말단은 L-arabinopyranose로 구성되어 있었다. PDA배지에 WSF첨가로 표고의 균사 생장이 매우 증진되었으며, 2-4% 첨가수준에서 균사 생장이 최대였고, 첨가량이 더 많으면 균사의 생장이 오히려 감소되었다. 톱밥배지에서도 PDA 배지에서의 결과와 마찬가지로 WSF첨가로 균사 생장이 증진되었으며, 산림 6호 및 Mok-H의 경우 모두 4% 첨가에서 균사의 생장이 최대로 나타났다. 톱밥배지에 WSF 첨가가 버섯생산량을 증가시켰는바, Mok-H의 경우 무첨가에 비해 약 1.3배, 산림 6호의경우 1.2배 증수되었다. 버섯균 세포벽의 주성분인 ergosterol 함량변화를 측정한 결과, WSF첨가로 미첨가에 비하여 ergosterol의 함량이 증가하였으며, 균사가 콜로니를 형성하는 초기단계에서는 낮은 ergosterol함량을 나타냈으나 자실체가 형성되는 시기에 급격히 높아지는 결과를 나타냈다. 따라서 배지내의 ergosterol함량이 자실체형성의 주요 예측수단으로 이용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. The water soluble fractions(WSF) from Japanese larch wood were isolated, purified by anion exchange resin and Sephadex gel filtration and identified its chemical structure by means of periodate oxidation and methylation reactions. Its major components are arabinose and galactose (1 : 3.4). Based on the results of periodate oxidation, methylation and gas chromatographic analysis of purified WSF, main chain is composed of β-1.3-glycosidic linkage among D-galactopyranoses, and two different side chains; β -1,6-glycosidic linkage among 2-3 units of D-galactopyranoses and β-1,6-glycosidic linkage between 1-2 units of Dgalactopyranose and L-arabinopyranose. Addition of WSF to culture media of oak mushroom (Lentinulu edodes) accelerated the mycelial growth. In the case of PDA cultures, 2 percent addition of WSF in Sanlim No. 6 strain and 4 percent of WSF in Mok-H strain mostly enhanced the mycelial growth of the mushroom. In the case of sawdust cultures, 4 percent addition of WSF in two strains showed the best mycelial growth. High percentages addition of WSF inhibited mycelial growth of the mushroom. Mushroom production was increased with addition of WSF. By the addition of WSF, ergosterol contents in the media were quite high at the colonized stage and rapidly increased at the fruiting stage. Therefore the ergosterol content could be utilized as an indicator to evaluate the culture maturity for the mushroom fruiting.

      • 동물성 지방의 재활용 방안에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 우리나라의 동물성 생지방의 발생 실태 및 유통현황에 대해서 조사, 분석하여 제반 문제점을 파악하고 적절한 유통근대화 방안을 제시하였으며, 생지방이 환경에 미치는 영향 등에 대한 연구를 종합적으로 수행하여 최종처리, 재활용 등 효과적인 관리대책을 제시하고자 하였다. 생지방의 발생원은 전국에 산재한 170여개의 도축장과 280여개의 육가공공장을 비롯한 식육점, 음식점 등으로서 식육의 모든 유통과정과 관련성이 크며, 수도권에만 60%이상의 발생원이 집중되어 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 현재 전국에서 발생되는 생지방의 1일 발생량은 약 650-750여톤으로 300여명의 수집원이 손수레, 자전거, 오토바이 등의 낙후된 수거 장비를 등원하여 수거하고있으며, 약 60여개에 이르는 수집상은 수집원으로 부터 생지방을 매입하여 재활용 공장으로 운송하고 있다. 그러나, 유통업계의 현실은 영세성과 전근대적인 경영방법, 거래형태의 무질서등의 문제점을 내포하고 있으며, 결국 유통체계의 혼란을 야기시켜 정상적인 생지방 재활용업계의 발전을 저해하고 있어 적절한 관리 및 유통구조의 근대화를 위한 행정적인 지원 및 제도적인 장치가 필요한 것으로 사료된다. 유통구조의 근대화 방안으르 효율적인 유통경로가 제시되었으며 유통산업의 대형화, 계열화 등을 통하여 수거효율의 향상과 유통마진율의 절감효과를 얻을 수 있는 것으로 분석되었다. In this study, generation characteristics and distribution situation of the animal fat residue were investigated to identify it's management problems and to propose alternatives for the recycling and final disposal. Generation sources were the meat distribution net-work including about 170 slaughterhouses, 280 meat-packing plants. thousands of meat shops and restaurants etc. The daily total amount of the animal fat residue is about 700 ton/day. More than 60% of the generation sources were concentrated in Seoul metropolitan area. The residue was collected by about 300 men using old-fashioned devices like handcarts, bike and auto bike, transported to the recycling plants by about 60 collection agencies. The residue was processed to produce by-products such as grease, tallow, animal feed ingredient in the recycling plants. At present, however, a great number of unlicensed, and mostly small rendering processors without having pollution control facilities do the unlawful business. These small, old fashioned and unorganized businesses are creating environmental problems by disposing the waste in improper ways such as open burning and dump. Improvement of the distribution network, the large-scale plants, and the estabilishing proper infrastructures were suggested to overcome the problems for the sound fat residues reprocessing industry.

        Insulation Design and Reliability Evaluation of ±80kV HVDC XLPE Cables

        This paper describes insulation design and its reliability evaluation of ±80kV HVDC XLPE cable. Recently, the construction of HVDC transmission system, which is combined overhead line with underground cable, has been completed. This system is installed with existing 154 kV AC transmission line on the same tower. In this paper, the lightning transient analysis is firstly reviewed for selection of basic impulse insulation level and nominal insulation thickness. Then the electrical performance tests including load cycle test and superimposed impulse test based on CIGRE TB 496 are performed to evaluate the reliability of newly designed HVDC cable. There is no breakdown for ±80kV HVDC XLPE cable during electrical performance test. Finally, this system is installed in Jeju island based on successful electrical performance test (Type test). After installation tests are also successfully completed.

        Development of Fault Location Algorithm and Its Verification Experiments for HVDC Submarine Cables

        A new fault location algorithm based on stationary wavelet transform and its verification experiment results are described for HVDC submarine cables in this paper. For wavelet based fault location algorithm, firstly, 4th level approximation coefficients decomposed by wavelet transform function are superimposed by correlation, then the distance to the fault point is calculated by time delay between the first incident signal and the second reflected signal. For the verification of this algorithm, the real experiments based on various fault conditions and return types of fault current are performed at HVDC submarine cable test yard located in KEPCO(Korea Electric Power Corporation) Power Testing Center of South Korea. It proves that the fault location method proposed in this paper is very simple but very quick and accurate for HVDC submarine cable fault location.
