        French railroad space 상에서 F凸集合의 位相的 性質을 연구하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. C⊆R²가 眞F凸 集合일때 1) 원점 O가 C의 interior에 포함될 때, ??도 역시 F凸集合이다. 2) C의 폐포 Cl₂(C)도 역시 F凸集合이다. F凸集合의 한 응용으로서 한 점에서 凸인 함수에 對해 다음 問題를 다루었다. 1) 원점 O에서 凸이라는 것과 O에서 Support에 갖는다는 것이 동치인가 ? 2) 원점 O에서 凸이면 반드시 O에서 Jenson의 부등식이 성립하는가 ? 그 결과로서 2. F凸 集合상에 定義되는 Sadle surface를 利用하여 위 두 사실이 성립하지 않음을 예를 들어 보였다. Author studied topological properties of F convex sets in the French railrood space and got following main results : 1. Let C be a prope F convex subset of R². 1) If 0 εInt₂(C), then Int₂(C) is also F convex. 2) Cl₂(C) is also F convex. As an application of F convex set, author considered following two problems for a function convex at 0. 1) Is beingconvexity at 0 equivalent to having support at 0? 2) Does convexity at 0 imply Jencen's inequality holds at 0? and showed that 2. Answers to the above questions are negative in general by using saddle surface defined on a F convex function.

        벼 기계이앙 1회용 종이 육묘상자 개발

        벼 기계이앙 육묘에 주로 사용하고 있는 플라스틱 육묘상자의 문제점을 개선하고 친환경 농업 실현에도 기여할 수 있는 벼 기계이양 종이 육묘상자개발 및 육묘시험 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 폐지 등 혼합물을 고열압착한 종이 육묘상자는 내부 길이가 가로 58㎝, 세로 28㎝, 높이는 2㎝이고 무게는 250g이다. 2. 종이 육묘상자 모의 파종 후 10일~30일 묘소질은 플라스틱 육묘상자 모에 비하여 초장이 1.1~1.8㎝ 짧고 본당 건물중은 0.3~3.7㎎이 떨어졌으나 엽수와 모 충실도는 비슷하였다. 3. 종이 육묘상자 모의 파종 후 30일(중묘) 이앙 시 결주율은 3.3%로 플라스틱 육묘상자 모 결주율 3.2%와 거의 같았고, 출수기, 벼 생육특성 및 수량도 플라스틱 육묘상자와 비슷하였다. 4. 종이 육묘상자의 이점은 플라스틱 육묘상자에 비하여 육묘상자 비용이 약 20% 절감되고 파종 후 운반, 치상 등 작업이 용이하며, 이앙 후 회수, 세척 및 보관관리 노력이 생략된다. 그리고 이앙 후는 논에서 유기물화되므로 친환경농업에도 부합된다. A light and bio-degradable paper tray for seedling raising in machine transplanting rice was developed for the first time and a possibility for rice seedling growth was evaluated. The paper tray was made of mixture of recycling paper and sawdust, and molded under high temperature and pressure. The tray was 58㎝ length x28㎝ width x2㎝ height in size and 250g in weight per tray. The seedling height and dry weight per plant grown at the paper tray were generally 1.1 to 1.8㎝ shorter and 0.3 to 3.7㎎ lighter than those grown at the conventional plastic tray, respectively. However, other characters such as leaf number, seedling health score, missing hill, heading date, panicle and spiketlet number, and milled rice yield were similar to those in the plastic tray. Based on the result of research, the paper tray had following advantages in comparison of the plastic tray. The paper tray could be reduced seedling raising cost by 20% as compared with the plastic tray. Since the paper tray was of lightness even after seedbed soil fill-up, it was more handy and convenient to carry over. Labor input for collecting, washing, and storing the empty tray after seedling transplanting was not needed as the plastic tray. The paper tray was also bio-degraded and transformed into an organic matter, once it was incorporated into soil, which was considered as an environmentally- safe cultivation technology.

      • 트랙타 부착 대형이앙기 개발 및 재배적 실용성

        쌀 생산비를 줄이고 대경지 규모화 영농에 적응할 수 있는 농기계 개발을 목적으로 연구개발한 대규모 경지적응 트랙터 부착 대형벼이앙기의 구성과 특징 및 개발시작기의 재배적 실용성 평가결과를 요약정리하면 다음과 같다. 1. 트랙터 부착 12조 대형벼이앙기는 크게 바퀴자국 제거로타리, 문짝형 정지판, 이앙장치부 등으로 구성되어 있다. 2. 트랙터 부착 12조 이앙기는 트랙터 동력을 이용하여 로타리, 정지 및 이앙작업이 동시에 이루어 질 수 있도록 개발하였다. 3. 바퀴자국을 없애는 날은 기존의 로타리 날을 교체하면 되도록 반달형 날로 제작하였다. 4. 이앙기는 이동시는 접을 수 있도록 설계 제작되어 대형화가 가능하므로 기존 6조 승용이앙기에 비하여 이앙작업 능력이 1.5배 이상이었다. 5. 트랙터 부착 대형벼이앙기는 트랙터와 같은 큰 동력원을 이용할 수 있으므로 측조시비기, 긴매트모 탑재 등 다양한 작업기 및 기능을 추가로 부착 가능하도록 설계되었다. 6. 트랙터 부착 대형벼이앙기는 어린모 및 중묘이앙시 결주율은 3.0∼4.3%로 기계이앙기 결주 허용범위 5% 미만이었다. 하지만 무경운 논에서는 이앙작업은 가능하나 부묘율이 다소 높은 점은 보완이 필요하다. To develop a labor saving rice cultivation technology, a new tractor attached rice transplanter has been developed for large scale farming and its field performance was evaluated. The rice transplanter consists of three major parts such as rotary for removing tractor tire furrow, door-shaped soil leveling plate and transplanting equipment. The rice transplanter is operated using the power of the tractor and performs rotary, harrow and seedling transplanting simultaneously. A half moon shaped rotary blade was found to be very efficient to remove tire furrow developed during seedling transplanting and the original rotary blade can be replaced easily with existed rotary blade. The seedling transplanting part of the transplanter was designed to fold into small size and the transplanting efficiency of the transplanter was found to be 1.5 times higher than that of the conventional riding type six row transplanter. Since the transplanter is operated through a strong power of the tractor, the additional attachment such as fertilizer application apparatus and long mat rice seedling carrier is possible. Based on the field performance of the transplanter, although the missing hill percentage showed roughly with 3.0∼4.3% for 10-day and 30-day old seedlings but the percentage is less than 5% which is maximum missing hill permit in the transplanting rice. Seedling transplanting in no-tillage field condition is acceptable but floating seedling percentage is still high and thus further technology improvement for minimizing floating seedling percontage is needed.

      • Reciprocal Lattice Explorer의 原理와 使用法

        Reciprocal lattice explorer는 de Jong-Bouman camera와 Buerger precession camera를 合친것이다. 이 explorer를 使用하면 goniometer에 한번 固定한 試料를 使用하여 그 試料의 空間群을 決定하는데 必要한 모든 寫眞을 撮影할 수 있으며 그들은 찌그러지지 않은 逆格子面의 寫眞들이다. 本 論文에서는 de Jong-Bouman 과 Buerger precession 寫眞術의 原理와 使用法을 記述 하였고 또한 de Jong-Bouman의 振動寫眞과 zeroth layer 寫眞으로부터 11個 Laue群의 識別方法도 提示하였다. The reciprocal lattice explorer is an instrument which incorporates the principles of both the Buerger precession and the de Jong-Bouman methods. On the explorer all photographs which are necessary for a space group determination can be taken with a single setting of a crystal and the photographs show undistorted pictures of the reciprocal lattice planes. In this paper, the principles and the usages of the de Jong-Bouman and the Buerger precession photography are described, and a method of 11 Laue group identification using the de Jong-Bouman oscillation and zeroth layer photographs is shown.

      • Watermelon quality measurement based on sound deep learning

        Objective: The aim of this study is to find out whether it is possible to classify the sugar content of watermelons through sound classification based on deep learning techniques. Background: In general, when people pick a watermelon with good sugar content at the supermarket, they not only take a close look at them with their eyes, but also tend to tap and listen to them. As a result of the interview in this study, experienced fruit merchants can classify the watermelons with good sugar content just by tapping them and listening to the sound. Method: In order to develop and verify a deep learning model for classifying sugar content based on the tapping sound of watermelons, about 4,000 sound data were collected from about 700 watermelons at Cheongnyangni fruit market and Yangpyeong Cheongwoon distribution center classifying watermelons with a non-destructive measuring device. The sound data of the watermelon was measured at a distance of 1 to 2 ㎝ using the iPhone (11 Pro) after tapping the center of the watermelon with the palm of the hand. Noise was not separately controlled when collecting the sound data. The classes of the watermelon were divided into four categories: low quality or hollow, 10brix, 11brix, and 12brix. Results: We have applied MLP (Multi-Layer Perceptron) and CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) deep learning models to classify this collected sound data, showing accuracies of 96.66% and 95.28%, respectively. Finally, we verified the model using data that was not used for learning and confirmed that it was classified correctly. Conclusion: It has been shown that watermelon sugar content can be classified with high precision based on sound deep learning, just like a human taps a watermelon to hear the sound and filter out a good watermelon. Application: Based on the developed deep learning model, we are developing a smartphone app that evaluates quality by tapping watermelons.

        벼 葯培養에서 低溫 前處理가 callus 및 植物體 分化率에 미치는 影響

        The increasing callus induction and plant regeneration is the first target to apply anther culture technique to rice varietal improvement. The effects of low-temperature pretreatment on the callus induction and plant regeneration were examined with different temperatures and different treatment durations in four rice varieties. Low-temperature treatment on rice anther prior to anther plating increased remarkably both callus induction and plant regeneration, especially in the callus induction. The treatment temperature was more critical than the duration. In general, the proper treatment would be 8-12℃ in temperature and 8-16 days in duration with higher temperature for Tongil type rice varieties, which were derived from indical/japonica hybridization. Highly significant correlation was found between the callus induction and plant regeneration in Tongil type rice varieties, Milyang 23 and Taebaegbyeo, while no significant correlation in Japonica varieties. The ratio of haploid and diploid plants among the anther-derived plants with lowtemperature pertreatment was varied from different rice varieties, averaging approximately 7 haploids : 3 diploids.

        Combining Ability Analysis and Selection Effectiveness for Tolerance to Cold-Induced Sterility in Rice

        Cold-induced sterility is a problem of rice (Oryza sativa L.) production in temperate regions and high elevation tropics. The present study was conducted to measure combining ability, determine character associations. and to evaluate effectiveness of F$_2$selection for tolerance to this type of cold injury. The F$_1$, F$_2$, F$_3$ and reciprocal backcross F$_1$ populations of a nine-parent diallel were grown at Davis, California. a relatively cool location for rice. Additive genetic variance was predominant but some non -additive genetic variance existed for cold tolerance. Good general combining ability (GCA) was generally associated with the cold tolerant parents, 'M-201', and 'L-201', and poor GCA with the most susceptible parent. 7703008. Sterility was positively correlated with late heading. negatively with mature plant height. and negatively with spikelet number. Of the three agronomic characters, heading date had the greatest influence on sterility. Selection of F$_2$'s in seven crosses involving M-101, the most cold-tolerant parent, was effective for increasing cold tolerance. Realized heritability estimates for cold tolerance averaged 0.53, and observed selection response for cold-induced sterility averaged -9.4 percentage points. 수도의 냉해는 그 재배기간에 저온이 발생되는 수도재배지역에서 중요한 생산저해요인으로 작용한다. 그러나 도작기간동안의 기상은 지역에 따라 다르기 때문에 발생되는 냉해양상 또한 다르게 나타난다. 일반적으로 냉해는 저수온에 의한 생육의 지연 및 저기온에 의한 불일발생 등으로 크게 나눌 수 있다. 본 연구는 내냉성 품종육성효율을 높이기 위한 유전정보를 얻고저 내냉성정도가 서로 다른 9개 품종의 이면교잡된 36조합 F$_1$, F$_2$, F$_3$, 상호여교배집단 및 모본집단을 공시하여 장해형내냉성에 대한 조합능력, 작물학적 형질과의 관련성을 검토하고 F$_2$집단의 선발효율을 평가하였다. 불임발생정도로서 평가된 장해형내냉성은 상가적 유전분산이 주종이었으나 비상가적 유전분산 역시 유의하게 나타났다. 일반적으로 내성성이 강한 모본인 M 101과 L201이 일반조합능력(GCA)이 높았는 반면, 약한 품종인 7703008에서 가장 낮았다. 장해형내냉성은 출수기, 간장 및 수당립수와 관계가 있었는데, 출수가 빠를수록, 간장이 클수록 그리고 수당립수가 많을수록 내냉성이 강한 경향이었으며, 특히 출수기의 영향이 가장 높았다. 비교적 내냉성이 강한 M101과 교배된 7조합에서 F$_2$개체 선발이 내냉성향상에 효과가 있었으며 이때 내냉성에 대한 평균유전력(Realized heritability)은 0.53이었고 저온불임에 대한 선발효율은 -9.4%였다.

        벼 葯培養에서 1次培地 植物體分化 硏究 Ⅰ. NAA와 2,4-D 混合 1次培地에 의한 植物體分化

        Anter culture tachnique is practically used for rice varietal development. Rice plantlets via anther culture are usually produced by a two-step procedure: callus induction and plantlet development. An one-step procedure which rice plantlets are generated directly from plated anthers without transferring the calluses to plant regeneration medium would provide the saving labor, space and time in the anter culture. Three media formulations, which cantained the mixtures of NAA(5×10⁻⁶M and 2.4-D(10⁻⁶, 10⁻⁷ and 10⁻⁸M) in the N6 medium, produced rice plantlets directly without transferring calluses to another medium. The plantlets by the one-step procedure were developed about 4 weeks after anthers were placed on the medium. The plant regeneration frequencies with the one-step procedure varied from 0% for “Taebaegbyeo” to 4.8% for “Cheonmabyeo”. In general, the media which contained 5x10⁻⁶M of NAA and 10⁻⁷~ 10⁻⁸M of 2.4-D showed better responses for the one-step procedure of rice anter culture.
