DaedunsaJi(大芚寺志) was a book about the history and well-known buddhists of Daedunsa Temple, which located in the western Part of Korea. We could find and know through this book about the buddhist trends. and the temple and its buddhists' work in order to develop and revival buddhism during the late Chosoˇn Dynasty(朝鮮王朝). DaedunsaJi was published by Wanho Yunyoo(尹祐) of Daedunsa Temple(大芚寺), and Aarm Haejang(惠藏) his discipliners of Mandeurksa Temple(만덕사). They were well - known buddhists at that time in the field of buddhist educational philosophy and buddhist lecture. Also they tried to rebuild Daedunsa and finally finished it. And it became one of the centers of Chosoˇn's buddhist world. The object to publication of 'the book was to enhance its status in the Chosoˇn buddhist world. In 1636, Jungwan Haean(中觀海眼) wrote Daedunsasajerkgi(大芚寺事蹟記) in order to understand not only the temple's lost history caused by The Japanese Invasion(壬辰倭亂) but also Chosoˇn(朝鮮)'s nationalistic buddhist movement. But it was not qualify as a believable text because of unidentified quotations and unhistorical facts about ancient Korean buddhist tradition. And so, A new book was needed to correct in these Problems. This new book, Daedunsaji, was much more historical and scientific than the former. The book contained a number of historical materials such as the temple's historical development and founder, etc. And it documented about, a well-known buddhist, Seasandaesa(西山大師)'s patriotism and his monument. Also, through the book, We could understand why the temple became the main temple in the late Chosoˇn Dynasty because this book documented well - known 12 buddhists who had enhanced and developed this temple to the important buddhist educational and meditation center at that time. On the other hand. through this book, we could find ancient Korean buddhism tradition and its development because Dasan JeungYakyong(丁若鏞)'s objective researching about ancient Korean buddhism Permeated into this book. Dasan, a well-known philosophical Pragmatist, was this book main editor's teacher. Daedunsaji also affected the buddhist historical writings. Another temple history, Mandeuksaji(萬德寺誌) was affected both in the writing style and in the editors by this book because Dasan participated in this work. In conclusion, Daedunsaji became a prototype and model in the historical writing about buddhist and temple history. And even though the book's object was to enhance Daedunsa temple authority, it was not confine in the specific historical subject but general history in the material researching and writing style. Also it reconstructed ancient Korean buddhism and its tradition in the very objective style.

The purpose of this study was to analyze private tutoring expenses for young children by family characteristics. Specifically, family variables(children`s age, number of children, annual income, living place) were utilized for the analysis. In addition, it was also examined whether the ratio of private tutoring expenses to monthly living cost varied by income level. Data analysis was conducted using responses of 660 families whose children`s age was below 6-year-old from a nationally collected data set, Korean Welfare Panel Study(KWPS) 2007. The results of analysis were as followed. First, in terms of children`s age and number of children by family, families who have older children and less number of children spend more money for private tutoring. When it comes to the expenses by number of children, families who have higher number of children showed low ratio of participation in private tutoring. Second, private tutoring expenses by family characteristics showed that family holders` educational background(except graduate-level) and annual income were strongly associated with the ratio of participation in private tutoring. However, the expenses didn`t differ by their living place. Finally, the ratio of private tutoring expenses to annual income was not statistically significant by family income level. 본 연구는 가정의 배경요인(자녀의 연령, 자녀수, 소득수준, 거주지역 등)에 따른 사교육비 지출은 어떤 추이를 보이는지, 생활비중 사교육비가 차지하는 비율은 소득수준에 따라 어떠한지 등에 관해 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국복지패널 2007년 자료를 활용하여 6세 이하의 유아를 두고 있는 660가구를 최종분석 하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가구별 평균 유아 연령 및 수에 따른 사교육 추이를 살펴보면, 연령이 높고 유아 수가 적을수록 사교육 참여율과 사교육비 지출규모가 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 가구별 특성에 따른 사교육 추이를 보면, 대학원졸업을 제외하고 가구주의 학력과 가구소득이 높을수록 사교육을 실시하는 비율이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 생활비 중 사교육비가 차지하는 비율을 소득수준별로 살펴본 결과 통계적으로 유의미하지 않았다. 이러한 결과들은 전국규모의 자료에서는 대도시가 아닌 군 지역에 거주하거나 낮은 소득의 가구라 할지라도 사교육비 지출수준이 결코 낮지 않다는 사실을 보여주며, 소득이 높은 가구나 낮은 가구나 비슷한 비율(생활비 중 사교육비가 차지하는 비율)의 사교육비를 사용하고 있음을 의미한다.
