        A New Phenolic Glycoside from Mussaenda pubescens

        A new phenolic glycoside named mussaendoside L (1), along with four known iridoidal glycosides $(2{\sim}5)$ were isolated from the aerial parts of Mussaenda pubescens Ait.f. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic evidence.

        Monitoring for Damage in Two-Dimensional Pre-Stress Scratching of SiC Ceramics

        This paper reports an approach to use the acoustic emission (AE) technology for monitoring the surface/subsurface damage in twodimensional pre-stress scratching of SiC ceramics, in which the two-dimensional pre-stress is used to decrease the scratch-induced damage. Experiments in this study were conducted on a UMT-2 machine (CETR USA) utilizing a designed pre-stressing device under pressures of 0 MPa, 300 MPa and 500 MPa. The experimental results demonstrate that average frequency and magnitude of AE signals have a good correlation with the scratching tangential force and the scratch-induced surface /subsurface damage of materials. For a given normal load, the average frequency and magnitude of AE signals are observed to decrease with the increase in pre-stress, which indicates that surface/subsurface damage of SiC ceramics induced by two-dimensional pre-stress scratching is less than that induced by conventional scratching. The findings provide fundamental information for developing a practical on-line AE monitoring system that is effective in detecting surface/subsurface damage in scratching or grinding of ceramics. These results also demonstrate that two-dimensional pre-stress method contributes to decreasing the machining damage of brittle materials.

      • 부산지역 산업단지의 제조업체 특성과 환경관리 대응 방안

        This paper only manufacturer of industrial properties and is a Study on the Improvement of environmental management. The industrial park accounted for 44% of steel and machinery, and environmental standards that exceed the PM-10 concentrations of pollutants were found. Particles likely to cause adverse effects on human health concerns and increases the damage of the surrounding area. In particular, the existing lung or heart disease in adults or children may be affected. Thus, the surrounding industrial complexes to improve the environmental management plan is necessary.

        부정맥 심전도 신호에서 특이 파형 검출

        본 논문에서는 불응기(Refractory Period)에 기반한 부정맥 심전도 신호의 특이 파형 검출 알고리즘을 제안한다. 부정맥 심전도 신호는 대부분 평균 10% 정도의 특이 파형을 갖는다. 따라서 장시간 심전도 신호를 관찰 및 분석해야 하는 의료진에게 심전도 신호 샘플의 90%이상이 축소된 특이 파형만을 제공함으로써 시간과 비용 측면에서 매우 큰 효과를 볼 수 있다. 제안 알고리즘은 R-파의 특징과 가변 불응기를 이용하여 R-peak를 검출한다. 검출된 R-peak에 대해 특이 파형에 포함되지 않은 R-peak들의 전위 및 첨도의 평균과 표준편차를 이용하여 특이 파형을 검출한다. 제안한 알고리즘을 MIT-BIH 부정맥 데이터베이스의 모든 레코드에 적용한 결과 평균 90% 이상의 압축률을 보였다. In this paper, unusual waveform detection algorithm based on Refractory Period in arrhythmia ECG signal is proposed. Most of arrhythmia ECG signals consist of unusual waveforms with average 10% rate. Thus tremendous benefit can be obtained in terms of time and cost by providing unusual waveform samples reduced more than 90% to medical staffs who have to monitor and analyze for a long time. The proposed algorithm detects the R-peak using the features of R wave and variable refractory period. For the detected R-peak, unusual waveforms are found using means and standard deviation of electric potential and kurtosis of the R-peaks which are not included in unusual waveform. The proposed algorithm was applied to all records of the MIT-BIH arrhythmia database and showed more than average 90% of compression ratio.

      • 공학용 도면에서 object와 dimension sets의 분리 추출에 기초한 치수선의 벡터화

        A general engineering drawing is composed of the object representing orthographic projection of 3-D element and dimension sets which provide exact definition of the object. This paper proposes the method that extracts and vectorize dimension line in mechanical drawing. To solve the complexity of the conventional method which traces dimension lines to be connected to them after detecting arrowheads, we separate the object and dimension sets by using the morphological operation. And, using line vector extraction and line vector clustering, we vectorize object and dimension line, In this vectorization process, broken dimension line is reconstructed. Experimental results which apply the proposed method to the drawing drawn to KS drafting standards are presented.

        Morphology-pair 연산과 중간 값을 이용한 심전도 신호의 기저선 변동 잡음 제거

        본 논문에서는 심전도 파형에서 P, R, T-wave와 같은 local maxima 신호 영역과 Q, S-wave와 같은 local minima 신호영역을 제거하여 기저선 변동 잡음을 제거하기 위한 방법을 제시한다. 이를 위해 형태연산을 개선한 morphology-pair 연산을 심전도 파형에 적용하고, 그 결과 발생되는 돌출 파형을 제거하고자 중간 값 연산을 적용하였다. 제안한 알고리즘의 성능을 확인하기 위해 실제 심전도 임상 데이터인 MIT/BIH 데이터베이스를 이용하였으며, 실험 결과 원 신호를 왜곡 하지 않고, 기저선 변동 잡음을 효과적으로 제거함을 확인하였다. This paper proposed the method of removing baseline drift by eliminating local maxima such as P, R, T-wave signal region and local minima Q, S-wave signal region. We applied morphology-pair operations improved from morphology operation to the ECG signal. To eliminate overshoot in the result of morphology-pair operation, we apply median value operation to the result of morphology-pair operation. We use MIT/BIH database to estimate the proposed algorithm. Experiment result show that proposed algorithm removing baseline drift effectively without orignal ECG signal distortion.

        부산지역 산업단지를 중심으로 환경오염물질 배출업소의 환경관리 특성조사

        본 연구는 부산지역 환경오염물질 배출업소의 환경관리 특성을 파악하여 환경관리를 효율적으로 지원할 수 있는 방안을 도출하기 위한 기초연구를 제공하기위해 수행되었다. 부산지역의 환경오염물질 배출업소가 밀집된 지역으로 신평· 장림산업단지, 사상전용공업지역, 녹산국가산업단지를 중심으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문은 통계프로그램 SPSS Win 12.0K을 이용하여 표본의 일반적 특성을 분석하기 위해 기술통계분석을 실시하였다. 그리고 산업단지별 특성을 파악하기 위해 각 문항의 독립성과 관련성을 분석하기 위해 카이제곱분석을 통한 산업단지별 교차분석을 실시하였다. 부산지역의 산업단지에 입주한 배출업소의 종사원 규모는 10명 이내가 45.6%를 차지하고 있으며, 전년도 매출액기준으로 10억 미만이 46.6%를 차지하고 있어 대부분 영세한 중소기업으로 분포되어 있다. 환경시설에서 대기배출시설이 45.7%를 차지하고 있으며, 폐수배출시설은 49.5%를 차지고 있는 것으로 대부분의 환경오염물질 배출업소에서 대기 및 폐수배출시설을 설치하고 있는것으로 나타났다. 환경시설의 환경전담 부서 및 전담인력에서 담당자만 있는 경우가 71.6%이며, 환경전문 자격증이 없는 환경업무 경력만 가지고 있는 경우가 89%를 차지하고 있다. 환경업무의 중요도에서는 77.4%가 중요한 업무로 인지하고 있으며, 환경규제 제도에서는 53.4%가 높다고 인식하고 있다. 부산지역의 환경오염물질 배출업소의 영세한 사업장의 비율이 높은 점을 가만하면 환경 인적자원이 부족하기 때문에 나타나고 있는 현상으로 판단된다. 환경시설을 개선하는 데 있어 애로사항으로는 자금조달이 59.2%로 환경시설을 개선하는 데 애로점인 것으로 나타났으며, 정부의 지원 부족은 66.4%로 높게 나타나고 있다. 또한 기술정보의 애로점으로 46.4%의 응답을 하였으며, 환경전문 인력 수급에 51.2%로 어려움을 느끼고 있었다. 중소기업의 경영사항이나 환경시설에 대한 투자 여력이 부족해 나타나는 부분으로 판단된다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 부산지역의 환경오염물질 배출업소는 환경시설에 대한 전담인력이 비전문가가 운영하고 있어 위기사항에 대한 대처가 부족할 것으로 나타나, 이에 대한 환경정책적 지원제도로 환경인력에 대한 채용이나 인턴제도를 지원하는 방안을 강구하여 환경시설에 대한 올바른 인식과 안정적인 운영이 될 수 있도록 제도적인 지원이 필요할 것으로 판단된다. This study derives methods for the efficient environmental management by better understanding the characteristics of it at the environmental pollutant emission sites in Busan region. There are a high density of environmental pollutant emission sites, so this study has conducted a survey centered on the Sinpyeong-Jangrim Industrial Complex, Sasang Industrial Complex, and Noksan Industrial Complex in Busan region. For the survey, the statistical program SPSS Win 12.0K was used to conduct a technical statistical analysis to analyze the general characteristics of the sample. Also, to understand the characteristics of the each individual industrial complex better, a cross-analysis of each industrial complex was conducted by using thechi-square method and the independence and correlation of each question was analyzed. In Busan`s industrial complexes, 45.6% of the companies that were responsible for emissions have less than 10 employees. Nearly 46.6% of the companies recorded sales of less than one billion won in the previous year, which means that majority of the companies were small and medium-sized enterprises. Among environmental facilities, 45.7% were atmospheric emissions facilities and 49.5% were waste-water discharge facilities, which shows that atmospheric and waste-water emissions/discharge facilities were mostly installed at the environmental sites. In 71.6% of the cases, only one representative was in charge of addressing the environmental needs of the facilities, and in 89% of the cases, the representatives had only environmental work experience without any certified professional qualifications. Nearly 77.4% of the companies admitted that environmental work was important, and 53.4% identified environmental regulation systems as being highly important. Given the higher number of small-sized enterprises in the industrial complex in Busan region, inadequate human resources was cited as the primary reason for insufficient focus on the environment. Nearly 59% of the companies complained that funding was required to improve the environmental facilities and 66.4% complained about the lack of the government support. Also, 46.4% responded that the lack of availability of technical information was an obstacle, and 51.2% felt that the supply and demand of professional environment-related manpower was a challenge. The lack of margins for investing in management issues and environmental facilities among small and medium-sized enterprises was also regarded as a part of this challenge. Based on these results, we found that enterprises that were responsible for emissions in Busan region and suffered from unprofessional management from their environmental personnel. The companies also lack a means for dealing with a crisis; we believe that a plan needs to be devised to support an employment or an internship system for the environmental work through its policy support systems. Companies need systematic support to build awareness about environmental facilities as well as stable managements.

      • An Improved Iterative Reconstruction Reprojection

        In this paper, we propose an improved IRR algorithm which estimates the intensity of actual positions on the missing ray in reconstruction process in order to eliminate interpolation error. Simulation using the proposed algorithm shows a significant improvement in image quality and convergence behavior compared to the known algorithm.

      • 永川地域 上流住宅의 配置, 平面 特性에 關한 硏究

        This study is the sixth of series that have been interpreted as the view of regionalism for the block plans and floor plans of the traditional houses spreaded in Kyoung-Sang-Buck-Do Privince, and is investigated its subject in Young-chon area. The purpose of study is to be analyzed the block types of the houses and the floor plans of An-chae(lady's inner house) and declared the typical case on the characteristics on each housing elements to Keung-Joo Kim-Si-Jong-Teak house On the conclusion, the block plan of the high-leveled traditional houses in Young-chon area is typically the courtyard type that is opening at sides that 3 to 5 of I-shaped or L-shaped buildings are composed. The floor plan of An-chae is mostly typed I-shaped and its bay system is both the lineal type(Hott-Gip) and the semi-lineal type(Teo-Kar Gip). In the floor plan of An-chae, a wooden floor room where is located in front of the master living floor(Dae-Chung) is remarkable as a regional characteristic of the southeastern Kyoung Buck Province.
