        A decision support system is introduced for the efficient operation of port container terminals. It consists of ship planning subsystem, yard planning subsystem, resource management subsystem, real-time control subsystem, and simulation subsystem. The system is intended to support the planning process of the planners and the operation process of the administrators in the container terminals. It is assumed that the transfer crances and the yard tractor/trailers are used to handle containers in the marshaling yard. The system is explained in terms of the functions of each subsystem and the data flows among various subsystems.

      • 선호의식분석을 통한 교통수단 전환모형 구축에 관한 연구

        This thesis studies on the development of transportation mode change model by the stated preference(SP) data analysis when the subway as a new traffic mode is introduced. The results of this study are as follow; 1.The results of SP data analyses for the subway operating conditions. Show that people most prefer to about 10 minute walking distance from their places to subway station, about 5 minute waiting time for next subway service, about 61 to 80 percentage of the reduction of travel-time, and about 600 won for the service fare. 2.The analyses of equivalent time coefficient for the traffic modes(as the value of equivalent time coefficient of bus is 1.00) showed that car, taxi, subway, walking, waiting, and single transfer have equivalent time coefficient of 0.75, 0.81, 0.83, 2.33, 1.71, and 14.98, respectively. These results indicate that there exist an apparent difference on an effort due to the traffic modes. The results of the analyses of value of time should that the male and female have a different value of time(13.75 won/minute and 10.75 won/minute, respectively) and people from 35 to 44 years old have the highest value of time(14.03 won/minute) among the different age groups. 3.The results of travel mode-change models to the subway by the present traffic modes. Travel mode-change models prepared in this study were established by the application of binary logit model based on generalized time. The results of the statistical examination of each parameter used in these models were significant. In addition, the value of likelihood ratio index(ρ2) of the models were stable(0.303 and 0.247 for bus and car, respectively) and the models yielded relatively high hit ratio(78.8% and 75.6% for bus and car, respectively).

      • Aspergillus nidulans 에서 nsdD 유전자의 cDNA 클로닝

        In Aspergillus nidulans, Never in Sexual Development(nsdD) gene is required for the early stage of sexual development. A region of the A. nidulans genomic DNA carrying the nsdD gene which complements NsdD19 mutation was isolated by transformation of NsdD19 mutant with a cosmid library. The size of the subcloned gene was about 4kb-long and the plasmid containing the 4kb DNA fragment, pNSD19-SB4, was cloned. 2.5kb and 2. 1kb cDNAs of nsdD gene were obtained from the sexual-development specific cDNA library by plaque hybridization and cloned into pBluescriptⅡ KS+.

      • 백서 발치와의 치유과정에서 Dexamethasone이 미치는 영향

        백서 발치와의 치유과정에서 dexamethasone이 미치는 효과에 대해 관찰하고자 생후 2개월의 Sprague-Dawley계의 백서 24마리의 발치와를 이용하여 실험을 시행하였다. 실험군과 대조군 모두 발치를 용이하게 하고 외상을 최소화 하기위해 발치전에 0.2g/kg β-APN을 음용수에 용해시켜 5일간 투여하였고, 발치후에는 감염방지를 위해 1.5㎖/kg ampicillin을 하루에 한번씩 근육주사하였고 실험군에서는 0.2㎖/kg dexamethasone을 하루에 2회씩 3일 동안 근육주사를 통하여 투약하였다. 각 군은 발치후 1,3,7,15 일 간격으로 3마리씩 희생시켜 조직학적인 검경과 TRAP 염색에 의한 파골세포 활성의 관찰을 시행하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 전반적인 치유양상은 실험군과 대조군 공히 유사한 양상이었으나 실험군이 대조군보다 골성회북이 지연되었다. 2. 파골세포의 활성은 대조군에서는 3일째까지 증가되고 이후에 감소되는 양상이었으나 실험군에서는 7일째까지 증가되었다가 이후에 감소된 양상을 보였다. 3. 골조직의 변화에서 골주형성이 7일째에 관찰되었으나 실험군이 대조군보다 미약하였고 파골세포의 활성은 7일째를 제외하고 양군간에 통계학적으로 유의성있는 차이를 보였다(p<0.05,p<0.01). 이상의 연구를 미루어 볼 때 dexamethasone은 생체조직 치유과정에서 발치와의 치유와 파골세포의 활성에 관여하여 전반적인 치유양상을 지연시키는 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of dexamethasone on the healing aspect of gingiva and alveolar bone after extraction. Extracted socket of 24 Sprague-Dawley rat was used. To extract easily and minimize injury, β-APN 0.2 g/kg / day soluted in mimeral water was administrated for 5 days before extraction in both group. Ampicillin 1.5 ㎖/kg i.m.,q.d. was administered for preventing infection after teeth extraction in both group, and dexamethasone 0.4mg/kg/day was injected for 3 days in experimental group. 3 rats on each day was sacrificed on 1, 3, 7, 15 days after extraction. Histologic examination and the activity of osteoclasts by tartrate resistant acid phosphatase was observed. The results were as follows: 1. The Overall healing pattern was similar with both the experimental and control group, but in experimental group osseous healing was delayed. 2. The activity of osteoclasts increased to day 3 and then decreased after day 3 in the experimental group. In comparison to the control group, the experimental group showed increased appearance to day 7 and then decreased appearance following day. 3. Regarding to the change of osseous tissue, the activity of osteoblasts was shown at day 7, but osteoclastic activity of the experimental group was less than that of the control group. The osteoclastic activity was statistically significant between two groups except day 7 (p<0.05, p<0.01). In conclusion, the effects of dexamethasone for healing of extraction socket were considered as limiting the activity of osteoclasts, and the healing of extraction socket was delayed.

      • Aspergillus nidulans 에서 npgA 유전자의 분리

        A gene that complements the null pigment mutation(npgA1) was isolated from Aspergillus nidulans. The mutant developed colorless conidiophores, conidia and ascospore and never secreted any diffusible pigment into the medium. A. nidulans carrying trpC802 and npgA1 was transformed with genomic DNA library constructed in a cosmid, pKBY2. Out of 2,800 trp^(+) transformants, two npg^(+) clones were selected and transforming DNA was isolated through in vitro packaging. The isolated cosmid, designated as pNPG, was further subcloned through co-transformation with pKBY2. The npgA^(+) gene was included in the 3.0Kb HincⅡ fragment.

      • L1210 세포증식에 대한 Glycyrrhizin의 억제작용 기전

        The purpose of this research was to investigate the mechanism of inhibitory action of Glycyrrhizin(GZ) on the proliferation of mouse leukemia cell-line, L1210 cells. The cytotoxic activity was tested using a colorimetric tertrazolium assay(MTT assay), the apoptosis was tested using flow cytometry. Nitric oxide(NO) production form mouse peritoneal macrophage was tested using a Griess method and the phagocytosis of human polymorphonuclear cells was tested using a lucigenin chemiluminescence. GZ ingibited the proliferation of L1210, BALB/c 3T3 cells and mouse thymocytes at 50 ug/ml/ GZ did not affect nitric oxide production from mouse peritoneal macrophages in vitro, but ingibited nitric oxide production from lipopolysaccharide and y-interferon treated macrophages. Macrophages of GZ-administered mice accelerated NO production. The proliferation of L1210 cells apoptosis of L1210 cells were induced by co-culture with macrophage of GZ-administered mice. The apoptosis of L1210 cells were induced by co-culture with macrophage of GZ-administered mice. GZ increased the phagocytosis of human polymorphonuclear cells. These results suggest that GZ inhibit the proliferation of L1210 cells not only as a direct cytotoxic agent o tumor cells, but also by the enhancement of NO production and phagocytic activity.

      • 韓國人의 環境保護態度形成을 위한 行政的接近

        Many developing countries are faced today with serious problems emanating from environmental deterioration with limited resources and technologies, they face the need to increase industrial production and simultaneously to control environmental problems attendant on such expansion. They are in dilemma since environmental pollution is often a problem where solutions run counter the continued and uninterrupted industrial growth. Korea is a case in point. During the past two decades the country enjoyed one of the highest economic growth rates among the developing nations. But the rapid expansion of industries and the emergence of densely populated urban areas during the period have placed heavy strains on the quality of the country's environment. The Korean government, cognizant of the seriousness of the problem, began taking measures aimed at curbing environmental deterioration. The meaning of environment is differentiated in accordance with the disciplines which systematically deals with the environmental problems or with the practical positions and approaches, since the environmental problems appear to be important social and daily life problems. Broadly speaking, environment is the whole which influence each other in and out of a group of organisms. In these regards, the environment of which center is human beings can be called a human environment or a human ecosystem. Human environment is a complex one composed of the human beings and their environmental conditions, that is to say, man-society-biotic and abiotic beings and their conditions. The human environment is different from and more complex than any environments in terms of fact that the man, being quite a component of the system, is able to change the structure of the system by his intellectual activities. The purpose of the present study aims at gathering basic attitudinal data relating to the environment and preparing the usable policy alternatives in Korea. Data for the study were collected from sample survey (367 persons) conducted in Junrabukdo province, using a standardized interview schedule. Major findings of the research can be summarized as follows: (1) satisfaction with the existing quality of the daily environment was expressed by higher level, relatively. So it may be reasonably assumed that the satisfaction they expressed reflected more than the objective realities of their environment. (2) public knowledge of conservation or pollution control programmes was very low despite the concerted effort of both governmental and civilian conservation organizations to arouse public consciousness for environmental protection in conservation programmes was also very low. (3) considering that conservation movements had not been widely known and that partictpation had been very low, public support for environmental protection was very strong. Approximately two-thirds of the sample were found willing to pay an additional one percent of their current tax as a special environmental tax. Almost unanimously, respondents were in favor of establishing environmental education as part of the regular academic curricula from the elementary school up. (4) Environmental personality test shows that Koreans have a strong tendency to view their environment as an object to be developed and modified to suit his immediate needs and desires.
