The Process Planning in Laser Thermal Adjustment of Three Cut-Outs Actuators

Hong Shen,Han Wang,Jun Hu,Zhenqiang Yao 한국정밀공학회 2015 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol. No.

Laser thermal adjustment as an application of laser forming in micro systems attracts much attention. Previous work on laser thermal adjustment of the two-bridge actuator shows that the deformations are always limited. In this paper, an actuator with three cut-outs is designed to enlarge the deformation range. A simple deformation formula is also established for such actuator based on the deformation behavior of two-bridge actuators. Four cases of the location relation between the target position and the calculated set point are considered in planning the process parameters to reach the designed target position. The planning process is validated by the numerical simulation and experiments.

      • Segment of Multiple Objects Based on Parameter Active Contour Model

Liu Hongshen,Wang Nan,Zhang Xuefeng 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Signal Processing, Image Vol.9 No.12

The subject of this paper is the segmentation of multiple objects from images based on 6the parameter active contour model (PACM). After analyzing application of the parameter active model to segment multiple objects, the evolution strategies and disadvantages of existing methods are presented. This paper proposes that the key points are two parts in detecting multiple objects with the PACM in the shrinking strategy. One key point includes the split time where contours appear as self-crosses, and the split algorithm of contours. The other key point is to maintain the uniform distribution of sampling points on contours in order to match the shapes of objects in segmenting. A new algorithm for detecting self-crosses is presented, and the results show that the new algorithm is faster than the other algorithm. The problem where vertexes on contours are sampled to match the shapes of objects in segmenting is studied, and its solution is presented.

Kinematic analysis of particle movement in friction barrel-type tribocharger

Chifeng Tian,Hongshen Zhang,Hongfei Zheng 대한기계학회 2022 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.36 No.7

Tribocharging is a prerequisite for high-voltage electrostatic separation of polymer particles. In this study, the movement of polymer particles was investigated on the basis of a friction barrel-type tribocharger. The fin of tribocharger drives polymer particles to rotate. The particles will move in axial direction because a tribocharger has an inclined angle. The particles reach the bottom of tribocharger and are charged after several cycles. A motion equation was established through force analysis, and the known parameters were substituted to calculate the motion time and displacement of the particle in one cycle. The motion of polymer particles was simulated by using EDEM simulation software. Simulation results are consistent with the theoretical results. Results show that the established motion model can be used to describe the motion law of polymer particles. The findings provide a reference for the follow-up study of the triboelectric mechanism of polymer particles for vehicles.

Charge parameter optimization of friction barrel-type electrostatic separation equipment using response surface methodology

Chifeng Tian,Hongshen Zhang,Xiang Gao 대한기계학회 2023 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.37 No.7

The charge parameter optimization of polymer electrostatic separation equipment developed by the research team was investigated in this study. The charge mechanism of polymer particles in the friction barrel tribocharger was preliminarily explored, and the contact model between particles and the friction barrel, including the particle charge model, were established. Factors that exert strong influences on particle charge were obtained from the charge model. Vehicle polymer particles polyamide (PA), polypropylene (PP), and polyethylene (PE) were the research objects, and the optimal level range of influencing factors was obtained through the single factor experiment. Meanwhile, response surface methodology was used to design the experiment, determine the interaction among various influencing factors, and predict the optimal operating parameters of the equipment. The correctness of the prediction model was verified through experiments. Finally, polymer particles were charged under the optimal operation parameters of the equipment and then separated in a high-voltage electrostatic field. The separation purity of PA, PP, and PE mixture particles was 96.32 %, 77.98 %, and 91.73 %, respectively. Experimental results showed that the friction barrel-type electrostatic separation equipment can separate three kinds of polymer particles at once. The findings can provide a theoretical and experimental reference for the electrostatic separation of various polymer particles.

Intrusion Detection for Black Hole and Gray Hole in MANETs

( Chundong She ),( Ping Yi ),( Junfeng Wang ),( Hongshen Yang ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2013 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.7 No.7

Black and gray hole attack is one kind of routing disturbing attacks and can bring great damage to the network. As a result, an efficient algorithm to detect black and gray attack is important. This paper demonstrate an adaptive approach to detecting black and gray hole attacks in ad hoc network based on a cross layer design. In network layer, we proposed a path-based method to overhear the next hop`s action. This scheme does not send out extra control packets and saves the system resources of the detecting node. In MAC layer, a collision rate reporting system is established to estimate dynamic detecting threshold so as to lower the false positive rate under high network overload. We choose DSR protocol to test our algorithm and ns-2 as our simulation tool. Our experiment result verifies our theory: the average detection rate is above 90% and the false positive rate is below 10%. Moreover, the adaptive threshold strategy contributes to decrease the false positive rate.
