The Design of Cache Architecture in 32-bit RISC for the Performance Improvement

In this paper, two-way set-associative cache architecture is proposed in 32-bit RISC-based SoC for the performance improvement. Two-way set-associative cache has lower miss rate than direct-mapped cache. Direct-mapped cache in previous 32-bit RISC was modified into two-way associative cache. The proposed architecture is verified on HDL simulator and is tested on the program that manages student information. The result shows that the total number of clocks decreased by 5545 in the executed program.
SoC Platform Design and Verification for Multimedia Application

This paper proposes an SoC platform for the development of multimedia applications. The SoC platform uses a 32-bit RISC processor with 4-way set-associative cache for improvement of performance, a VGA controller and an AC97 controller for multimedia, an SoC debug interface for debugging and supports WISHBONE compatible peripheral IPs. The multimedia SoC platform is implemented on Xilinx VIRTEX-4 XC4VLX80 FPGA device and the FPGA executes at the maximum frequency of 64.574㎒. As a result of system-level verification using test programs in development board including the FPGA device, the proposed SoC platform was satisfactory for the desired functions.

본 논문에서는 한국과 미얀마의 4차 산업혁명 시대에서 문화경쟁력을 검토하고 이를 통하여 한국과 미얀마의 상호협력 분야를 모색하였다. 한국과 미얀마의 문화 및 산업 경쟁력의 차이는 크고, 부문별로는 정보, 문화 인프라와 기술에서 많은 차이가 있다. 한국과 미얀마는 문화 산업과 공공외교 분야에서 상호보완적인 관계를 형성하고 있는데, 한국의 경우 K-pop을 비롯한 문화산업 경쟁력이 매우 높고, 인프라 구축과 인력 등에 많은 경험과 자본이 축적되어 있다. 한편, 현실적으로 높은 인건비와 시장 확대에 어려움을 격고 있다. 따라서 이러한 문제점을 극복하고 사회환경의 고도화를 위해서는 문화적 배경의 유사성과 산업간 보완성이 담보되는 선진 산업국가와 협력이 모색되어야 한다. 미얀마의 경우, 비교적 문화 경쟁력이 낮은 반면, 미얀마가 현재 빠른 성장을 하고 있는 상황이다. 문화적 경쟁력을 확보하기 위해서는 교육인프라, 활용, 인력양성에 대한 문제해결이 요구된다. 또한 실질적으로 사회 환경의 고도화는 집적된 자본과 첨단기술의 수용이 선행되어야 한다. 본 연구의 시사점은 양국이 협력을 통하여 당면문제를 해결하고, 문화 및 산업 경쟁력을 제고와 더불어, 공동의 사회발전에 기대할 수 있는 정책 제안이다. This paper tries to review the cultural competence of the 4th industrial revolution between Korea and Myanmar to explore cooperation. The difference in cultural competitiveness during the 4th industrial revolution between the two countries is huge. By sector, there are many differences in infrastructure and skills. However, Korea and Myanmar are forming complementary relationships in the intercultural field. In Korea"s case, cultural infra competitiveness is very high, and a lot of experience and capital is accumulated in infrastructure construction and workforce. However, it is facing high labor costs and difficulties in expanding social problems. Therefore, to overcome these problems and grow, various cooperation plans with neighboring countries must be sought. In Myanmar, cultural competitiveness on the 4th industrial revolution is comparatively low. Myanmar is currently experiencing rapid economic growth, but in order to achieve more efficient growth, it will have to solve the problems of infrastructure, utilization, and workforce training year by year. However, the problem is that in order to solve this problem, accumulated capital and technology are desperately required. Therefore, the two countries will solve each other"s problems through cooperation and further enhance cultural competitiveness on the 4th industrial revolution, contributing to social development in Asian society.
게임 플레이버 텍스트의 번역 양상 고찰 - 게임 ‘하스스톤’의 플레이버 텍스트를 사례로 -

This study focuses on the translation aspects of a specific game text named Flavor text. Advanced game developing techniques and users’ improved game experience made game users’ to want ‘something more’ in their game. Flavor text has been created to fulfill the users’ need for something beyond their gameplay. It is a text which offers its users extra entertainment by offering more information about the game’s backgrounds (lore) or humor. Unlike other game texts, which is related with game system or game play, Flavor text exists separate from game system or game play, providing extra fun to users. Because Flavor text is separated from game system or game play, it can include content more freely than other game texts which are bound to their game systems or game play. Data from Game Hearthstone showed that there are 5 translation strategies used while translating Flavor text. Those strategies are Addition, Omission, Modification, Replacement and Literal Translation.
