        간호대학생의 근골격계 질환에 대한 지식 및 태도와 잘못된 생활습관자세와의 관계

        본 연구는 간호대학생의 근골격계 질환에 대한 지식 및 태도, 그리고 잘못된 생활습관자세의 정도를 확 인하고 그 관계를 규명하기 위한 목적으로 시행된 서술적 조사연구이다. 본 연구는 2013년 9월 2일부터 17일까지 구조화된 질문지를 이용하여 진행되었으며, 수집된 간호대학생 272명의 자료는 t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearsons correlation coefficient 등을 통해 분석되었다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 점수 가능범위 1~5점 중 근골격계 질환에 대한 지식은 2.75점, 근골격계 질환에 대한 태도는 3.24점, 잘못된 생활 습관자세는 3.21점으로 나타났으며, 잘못된 생활습관자세 중 소파에 눕는 자세, 가방을 한쪽 어깨에 메는 자세, 다리를 꼬아서 앉는 자세가 다른 자세들에 비해 높은 점수를 나타냈다. 둘째, 잘못된 생활습관자세 중 옆으로 누워서 자는 자세, 허리를 구부리고 물건을 드는 자세, 의자에 등을 붙이지 않고 엉덩이를 걸치고 앉는 자세만이 근골격계 질환에 대한 지식 및 태도와 유의한 음의 상관관계를 나타냈다. 본 연구 결과가 간호대학생들의 잘못된 생활습관자세 교정의 필요성에 대한 이해를 높이고, 이들의 근골격계 건강증진을 위한 프로그램 개발 시 지식 및 태도 측면을 강화시킬 수 있는 중재 전략의 기초자료로서 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다. The present study is a descriptive survey to examine the knowledge of and attitudes towards musculoskeletal disorders and the bad postural habits in nursing students and to determine the relationships between the both sides. This study was performed using a structured questionnaire from September 2 through 17, 2013. The questionnaire copies collected from 272 nursing students were analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearsons correlation coefficient. The following are the results: First, the subjects won 2.75, 3.24 and 3.21 among 1 to 5 points in the knowledge of musculoskeletal disorders, the attitudes towards musculoskeletal disorders and the bad postural habits. Among the bad postural habits, they earned higher points in the postures of lying on the back in a sofa, carrying a bag on the shoulder and sitting with legs crossed. Second, significant negative correlations with the knowledge of and attitudes towards musculoskeletal disorders were shown only by the postures of sleeping lying on the side, lifting things with the waist bent at and sitting with hips placed on and no back attached to a chair. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data to enhance the awareness that nursing students should correct their bad postural habits and to strengthen the knowledge of and attitudes towards musculoskeletal disorders at the time of developing any musculoskeletal health improvement program for nursing students.

        간호사의 의사결정역량, 간호전문직관, 직무만족이 이직충동에 미치는 영향

        The study was undertaken to investigate effects of decision making competency, nursing professionalism and job satisfaction on turnover impulse, and identify factors contributing to turnover impulse among nurses. Methods: The study was a descriptive study with 231 nurses from 4 general tertiary hospitals participating. Data were collected during March, 2013 using a structured self-report questionnaire. Decision making competency, nursing professionalism, and job satisfaction were measured with validated instruments, and turnover impulse was measured with one question using a 5-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression. Results: The significant predictors of turnover impulse among nurses were professionalism (β=-0.18, p=.015) and job satisfaction (β=-0.18, p=.009). These variables explained 12% of the variance in turnover impulse among nurses. Conclusion: The results indicate that nursing managers need to put efforts in improving nurses` job satisfaction and to develop plans to increase nursing professionalism in order to reduce nurses` turnover impulse.

        대학생이 선호하는 간호사의 메이크업이미지에 대한 연구 : I.R.I 이미지스케일을 중심으로

        With the rapid changes of modern times, there has also been change in the awareness of a new profession in nursing. Nursing has traditionally been recognized as assistance of doctors and a difficult job requiring devotion. Recently, however, it has come to be perceived as a professional occupation that makes a large contribution to the improvement of people’s health as a field of health care expertise and is drawing great attention as a promising job. Hence, it’s necessary to change the image of nursing as well as the medical service environment. The external image of a nurse could be a factor enhancing job satisfaction as a professional nursing occupation. It can also be a competitive aspect having a positive image. Therefore, this study attempted to determine the preference of nurse makeup images based on I.R.I. adjective images and to propose a makeup palette for female nurses by applying the images by preference to the I.R.I. color scheme image scale among college students, who are the medical service consumers of the future. A convenience sampling was conducted among 4-year college students using a questionnaire method. The results found the following: In general, there was a positive image regarding nurses. In terms of preferred nurse makeup images, i) natural image, ii) clear image and iii) gentle image (natural, soft and clean) were mentioned. Based on the results, this study targeted the provision of basic data for the more professional management of nurse images by proposing an empirical study on makeup for nurses. It is anticipated that these data would be available for the improvement of nurse images. There should be systematic personal image education for nurses to strengthen hospital competitiveness and give a positive image for patients along with professional medical services.

        간호학 박사학위논문의 실험연구 경향 분석

        Purposes: The purpose of this study was to identify recent trends of experimental research by analyzing doctoral dissertations in all colleges of nursing in Korea. Methods: The areas of research, the content, methodological and intervention characteristics used in this study were explored in experimental research on doctoral dissertations (n=132) published from 2006 to 2010. Results: In the issues of research, practice/clinical issues were most frequently used. As to outcome measurement, physiological variables increased more than psychological/emotional variables. Most theory applied in the research was taken from other disciplines, and nursing theory was only Roys adaptation theory. A large majority of the research was quasi-experimental designs and the number of true-experimental designs was very low. In more than half of the dissertations, internal validity was not described, and the described external validity rate was very low. There were more single intervention programs than bundle ones and education/exercise programs were most frequently used as the source of intervention. Conclusion: Doctoral dissertations need to increase and encourage more high quality experimental research to expand nursing knowledge and to develop evidence based nursing practice.

        간호대학생의 학습된 무기력과 무기력 행동

        Purpose: The current study is a descriptive survey study conducted in order to investigate degree and properties of learned helplessness and lethargic behaviors in students of the college of nursing. Methods: A total of 332 nursing students were enrolled and responded for data collection from October 1<SUP>st</SUP> through October 20<SUP>th</SUP>, 2013. Frequency, percentile, means and standard deviations of collected data were analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: The mean score of learned helplessness in nursing students was 2.46, which was statistically significant in relation to friendship (F=13.45, p<.001) and academic achievement (F=3.67, p<.013). On the other hand, the average score of lethargic behaviors was 2.52 and it showed significant association with grade (F=6.49, p<.001), current residence (F=3.26, p<.022), friendship (F=4.81, p<.009), and academic achievement (F=5.34, p<.001), indicating a positive association between these variables. Conclusion: Based on the study results herein, effective counseling, as well as continuous attention to students by school, and professors are needed in order to alleviate sense of learned helplessness, which is a psychological variables often shown in nursing patients. Further, additional studies with regards to various variables impacting the nursing student might be warranted.

        Factors Affecting Interpersonal Competence of Nursing Students: Focused on Self-Assertiveness and Empathy

        Purpose: Interpersonal competence, a key competence for patient-centered care by nurses, should be understood. Therefore, factors influencing the interpersonal competence of nursing students should be identified to explore and enhance their interpersonal relationships during the undergraduate educational curriculum for nursing educators. In this study factors influencing interpersonal competence, especially on self-assertiveness and empathy in nursing students were identified and analysed. Methods: A cross-sectional study design was used for the study in two Korean nursing colleges with similar baccalaureate nursing curricula. A total of 251 nursing students from freshman to senior year completed a questionnaire to measure related factors that were assumed to influence nursing students’ interpersonal competence. Data were collected from October 11~31, 2016. Study variables included self-assertiveness, empathy, interpersonal competence, and socio-demographic status. Multiple regression analysis was used for data analysis. Results: Nursing students’ interpersonal competence was explained by personality (β=.22), self-assertiveness (β=.16) and empathy (β=.38). The explanatory power of these predictors was 26.8% (p<.001). Conclusions: Nursing students’ interpersonal competence during the undergraduate nursing years can be enhanced by educational strategies that improve their interpersonal relationship as patient-centered care providers. Simultaneously, the attitude of the nurse educator is also important for nursing students who are to be treated as valuable learners and to improve students" empathy and self-assertiveness ability.

        원발성 담즙성 간경변증 2예

        Two cases of primary biliary cirrhosis were diagnosed in a 40-year-old woman and a 61-year-old woman. One case complained of generalized pruritus, easy fatigability and indigestion, and the other case complained of easy fatigability and generalized weakness. They showed an increase in serum alkaline phosphatase and serum IgM, positive antimitochondrial antibody tests, histologic findings of portal expansion with fibrosis, a decreased number of interlobular bile ducts, focal periportal destruction and inflammatory cell infiltration. From the above two cases of primary biliary cirrhosis, we can conclude that we should suspect this disease in patients with pruritus and generalized weakness along with those who show obstructive types of liver function tests but do not display the obstructive lesions of extrahepatic bile ducts and larger intrahepatic bile ducts in U/S, CT or ERCP. It can help us to detect primary biliary cirrhosis that we reconsider the findings of liver biopsy in patients diagnosed as chronic B viral hepatitis or nonAnonB chronic hepatitis who complain of pruritus and show an increase in serum alkaline phosphatase, serum IgM, cholesterol and GGTP, along with positive antimitochondrial antibody test.
